Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Jet Corporation | The Jet Corporation was founded in 1984 with John Oglow and Danny Bloudoff. While the group initially recorded in a house on the east side of Vancouver, a downtown warehouse space was acquired in the spring of 1985 which was converted into an after hours nightclub on the weekends while serving as the group's studio space during the week. The late night parties held on the weekends were an opportunity for the group to showcase their latest recordings among the rest of the strange sounds which were to be heard. Eventually, the popularity of the parties drew the attention of the local law enforcement which forced the closure of the facility. These encounters with the police are commemorated in the recording V.C.P.D. which was released on the Security cassette compilation. The group also released a limited edition cassette of its recordings titled Antimatter which was reviewed in Profile magazine in the August, 1985 issue.

Search | Add | 3 | Some Guy Named Robb | Robb McCormick | Some Guy Named Robb AKA singer songwriter Robb McCormick is a native to Arkansas and Colorado. He has headlined festivals and opened up for acts as diverse as John Fogarty (Creedence Clearwater Revival) to Sister Hazel and the Bellamy Brothers. As well as sharing the bill with Steve Poltz (Jewel) & Glenn Phillips (Toad the Wet Sprocket) among others. Growing up he was inspired by lyrically and musically rich songwriters like Paul Simon, John Denver, and Neil Diamond. In his teenage years he found alternative rock music through bands like The Cure, Depeche Mode, and The Replacements. His music is an amalgamation of all these influences, as well as Reggae, Punk, Soul, and Blues. His love for music is matched only by his high regard for lyricism. He has spent his life writing and performing music, full time professionally since he was a teenager. He’s performed thousands of shows, to hundreds of thousands of people, nationally and internationally. In his own words: “The best shows are when I get to connect with the audience. When they are with me and I’m with them and we get to share a special moment together. Most musicians will tell you we perform music to make connections. That’s me. The best room is one who has come to have fun, to surrender to the evening and see where it may take us. From tears to laughter. From clapping hands to singing along with me. I live for those musical moments.” Robb has recently been on tour across the ocean in the United Kingdom, in England and France, as well as touring from coast to coast in America. Taking a moment to stop in Memphis and recording his album, "The Folkster" at the world famous Sun Studios with Grammy winning producer Matt Ross-Spang.(Jason Isbell/Brandi Carlisle/Sean Rowe/Chris Isaak/Margo Price) Robb has toured both nationally and internationally to critical acclaim, with his very own bluesy, indie folk-rock sound music and unique blend of eclectic and often surprising covers. He has written well over a thousand songs, played over 7000 shows, released and sold 9 original albums and played to hundreds of thousands of people. He is currently touring and promoting his newest release... “The Adventures of IndieBoy”, whose crowd-funding campaign garnering an unprecedented $17,000 in pre-orders in only 28 days! IndieBoy recently celebrated half a million spins on Spotify alone in 2023! You can find his music all over the Internet on YouTube Music, Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music and available to purchase here on this website, www.sgnrobb.com And on Patreon.com where he releases exclusive content (podcasts, videos, new songs, demos) only for his Patreon partners. Robb is the winner of the Beaux Arts Academy, Performer of the Year award and the 40 under 40 in Arkansas, and his song, "Time is Not Your Friend" won him the esteemed Top 5 Finalist award in the international World Songwriting Awards contest. |

Search | Add | 3 | Evil Farm Children | Taking their name from a synopsis of the B-grade, horror flick, Blood on Satan’s Claw, EVIL FARM CHILDREN is a raw and raunchy trio from Canada’s capital with a reputation for intense stage shows. Their sound is real rock’n’roll, with a roots-rock flavour. The band can easily do a rocking surf instrumental with the fervor of Dick Dale, and, in a heartbeat, shift gears to roll right into a rockin’ rockabilly rave up, or a Stooges influenced, feedback infused, pounding rock’n’roll song. Formed in the summer of 2005, this trio was regularly playing many of Ottawa’s live music venues, as well as traveling to play various clubs in Toronto, Montreal, London, Hamilton, Peterborough, and several other towns in Southern Ontario. They performed at the 2008 Ottawa Blues Festival, one of the most popular music festivals in North America. Their original material, as captured in their recordings (see below) matters most, but for their live shows, the band likes to have fun by whipping out some heavily “Evil-ized” versions of songs by the likes of Max Webster, Dick Dale, Black Sabbath, Tom Waits, Deke Dickerson, Link Wray, The Cramps, and The Runaways.

Their debut album 'Annunaki' was released on Black Widow Records in 2017, consisting of unusual spaced-out material over the course of more than 100 minutes playing time. This is art influencing art influencing art, namely Hawkwind’s influence on Acid Mother’s Temple then influencing Chromium Hawk Machine, forming the new Space Rock music for the intrepid listener. The band reinvent a sound mass of sax, synths, guitar, bass, drums, and some processed voices without form, add some rhythmic chanting and a motorik beat emerges from this sonic sound and of course sax noodling on force.

Search | Add | 3 | The Feelings Hijackers | The Feelings Hijackers is a duo comprised of Chris Ballew ( front man for The Presidents of the United States of America ) and alternative hip-hop artist Mike "Outtasite" Singleton. The two artists first met during a short lived collaboration called "Subset", a super group teaming The Presidents, and the also multi-platinum Sir Mix-A-Lot. Outtasite (also Mix-A-Lot's protégé) was featuring on the Subset track "What The Hell" and joined Subset for all live shows. During a tour of the west coast, the future duo discovered that there was a lot of musical common ground to be explored. That exploring began in 2004 cutting demos in Chris Ballew's home studio. By the time 1 song turned into 10, Ballew had named this new duo "The Feelings Hijackers" mostly due to the strong mood music quality of the material, and the art of taking, cutting, and pasting from unfinished ideas. During this time the duo released two short run albums "T.F.H." in 2005 and "Skeletal Remains" in 2007. After a lengthy lay off, The Feelings Hijackers partnered up with Magmata Records / Magmata Studios to release the 21 song album aptly titled "SupeRecord" in 2011. Complete with supporting music video's, this album contains a combination of new & unreleased material, and previously released re-mastered favorites. This band was formed in a concept where the feelings of existing songs are hijacked and transformed into TFH songs. Traditionally they will strip the drums from a song and re-do them. Once this done then the main track is taken out and replaced with something that fits well with what's already been replaced.

Search | Add | 3 | Miroslav Matušić | Miroslav Matušić was born on December 19, 1925. in Brodica, a Roma-Vlach village in Zvižd. Already at the age of seven, he started playing the trumpet with local orchestras, at all important events in the town. Before the Second World War, he married Bosa, a girl from the village, with whom he had six children. After the end of the war, he decides to found his own ensemble. Although he was not musically literate, he managed to stand out thanks to his inexhaustible talent. In 1957, he recorded his famous round "Brodijanka" with Krnjevč's ensemble, shortly after that "Majdanka", and it was these singles that made him a well-known trumpet player in all of Serbia. He conveyed the magic of Eastern Serbia through sound, and thus managed to become the first trumpet of Radio Belgrade, as well as the Krnjevče Ensemble. In the 1960s, Matušić most liked to play with accordion players, and especially with his children, that is, Velizar Matušić's orchestra, which at one time was one of the best folk orchestras in Serbia. Together, they were an irreplaceable part of the "Homoljski Motifs" exhibition of folk art in Kučevo, founded in 1968. He also appeared in two television series, "Love in a rural way" and "Citizens of the village of Luga" with the famous Silvana Armenulić. In the mid-seventies, he recorded his only album "Handful of songs by Miroslav Matušić" for "Jugodisk".
