Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | The Metropolitan Bopera House | This hard bop quintet was founded by drummer Danny D'Imperio, taking its name from the nickname for the Royal Roost, a popular Manhattan jazz club of the late 1940s. After a legal issue with the pompous Metropolitan Opera, which considered the name to be an infringement of their copyright, the group was renamed The Bopera House. It disbanded around the time that trumpeter John Marshall left to take a position with the WDR Big Band in Cologne, Germany.

Search | Add | 3 | Frank Lini | Frank Starks | Frank Starks (born JULY,07 1982 in Fort Myers, Florida) is a southern style rap artist. He is best known as a ghetto poet who delivers his lyrics from deep with-in his soul. Frank began developing his sharp tongue and penetrating voice at the age 14 years old when he fell into rap. His first mixtape struck a cord in his local fans, which in return gave him the title “Lee County Lini” and “The City”. Frank Lini first mixtape was nominated for underground album of the year. Frank has been featured in multiple magazine publications for his musical talents such as Hood, Ozone, Voice, and 239 Hip-Hop. Frank Lini makes music that has real feel to it, that taps into the emotions of his listeners. Born Frank Starks in Ft. Myers, Fla., Frank has been fighting to survive the wretched city streets of “Lil Pakistan” for the vast majority of his life. Hustling since he was a youngster, he was constantly in and out of trouble and spent his adolescent years revolving through juvenile corrections facilities. His life began to change, however, when he began making homemade rap tapes with friend. He adopted his stage name “Lini” to pay homage to his native Lee County. “When I first started rapping, it was a way for me to channel all of my frustrations into music,” Lini remembers. “It was so easy because I just let that voice inside of me speak.” While recording his debut album I’m All In in the summer of 2006, he was arrested and began a three-year legal battle which resulted in jail time and probation. Although that run-in with the law was a major setback, which killed the conversations between him a Major record labels. it also provided him with an opportunity to reach even deeper into the streets and even further solidify a strong fan base in Florida. The "ALL IN" album was released in December 2007 on independent label Tohilh Music Group and quickly became the streets’ Bible. Frank’s gritty delivery and pain-filled lyrics on runaway singles “I Ain’t Friendly” and “I’m All In” prompted the streets to rally around him as unofficial mayor of Ft. Myers. By the time of the follow-up album Green Light dropped, Frank gained the attention of industry heavyweights like Rick Ross, Mayback Music Group and Akon, Konvict Music. He had been nominated by Hood magazine as the 2007 Underground Album of the Year and secured a feature appearance on Triple Cs 2009 album Custom Cars & Cycles on single “Throw Em In the Sky,” which was also featured on AllHipHop.com. He was also selected to be featured in Ozone magazine’s Patiently Waiting section and received a Duval Diamond Award for his relentless grind. Now, Frank Lini is back like he never left. He has been steadily gaining new fans and keeping the streets duly satisfied with his latest single “Pressure”. “My ultimate goal is to take over this rap game,” says Lini. “I won’t follow the beaten path. I’m a trailblazer so instead of following anybody, I choose to hold out and wait for the world to catch up to what I’m doing down here in Florida. Better opportunities are on the horizon.” |

Search | Add | 3 | Sen-Sei | Nathan Uhlir | Sen-Sei, a native to Brooklyn ,N.Y., started his musical career at age five. After 13 years of studying classical music, Sen-Sei had mastered the finer elements of piano playing. A demonstration of his musical talent was seen at Carnegie Hall in 1989. In the following two years, Sen-Sei found himself in and out of bands that ranged in funk, jazz, and top 40 of the time. Problem was, he couldn’t find the type of music that really moved him. After relocating to San Francisco in 1991, Sen-Sei experienced his first underground house party, dancing to the beats of DJ’s Dutch, Carlos, and MoonPup. From that moment on, it was clear that dance music was the true love for Sen-Sei. Sen-Sei's ingenious talent lies in his ability to take electronic music production out of the sterile recording studio and into the lives of the fans by creating the music real-time, on-stage. He has teamed with well-known DJs world-wide to create a cutting-edge infusion of sound. When he is not performing, Sen-Sei is creating music for CD, vinyl, television, and movie. |

Search | Add | 3 | Spacedays | Spacedays are a rock band from Singapore. Founded in 2009, their compositions bear close associations to the late 1960s psychedelic music subcultures. Audiences have also drawn close parallels to American garage rock bands. Although, their sonic affinities lie with music subcultures abroad, lyrically, Rahmat "Mamat" Suliman (vocals/keyboards/guitar) writes about daily experiences and relationships in the urban confines of Singapore. “Some days we just need some space to observe and to reflect,” he muses. Having released the debut psychedelic garage rock LP, Is It In The Circle?, as a two-piece alongside co-founder and long time collaborator, Shakir "Shaks" Samat (drums) in January 2013, Mamat roped in Zaki Shariff (keyboards) and Mohamed Hanis (bass) to expand their repertoire and explore their self-proclaimed “psychedelic groove rock” genre characterized by a guitar-driven sonic space complemented by the added textures of the “cosmic” upper registers of the keyboards. The band released Moondust, the band's second EP, in February 2014 as part of a collaboration project with Lomography Blue Hour Sessions, The Rockstar Collective (RSC), graphic designer Djohan Hanapi and visual projection artist Wu Jun Han. The EP was launched to a crowded Home Club audience on 21 Feb 2014.

Search | Add | 3 | Electrotom | Electrotom is Simon Gag and Toby, both from Sweden. Electrotom came about in 1995-96… after about a year of production, the first release hit the unsuspecting world. Electrotom’s “Love Camp Electro” EP was released on Candy Cane Exploitations in 1997. The sound was metallic, twisted, evil and organic at the same time, always with erotic undertones… more vinyl was to follow with that distinct Electrotom sound… Electrotom took a break after the Swedish Erotica release from 1999, they had left their original sound on this release, giving room for a more polished release. Feeling that they had compromised their originality they decided to take a break from music production for a while… this was in the year 2000… Now they’re back and are working intensely on a new album, a 12″ is about to surface on the Candy Cane Exploitations label… this will uncompromisingly be in true Electrotom style… we’re back with a vengeance…

Jim remained an ardent student of all subjects for his lifetime. In the weeks preceding his death he had decided he was going to learn to play piano like Dr. John. He was doing very well on the piece, "Just a Closer Walk with Thee."In his childhood he played daily on the Toby Tubby and the Luxapalila Creeks near Columbus. He was a dedicated teacher, pilot, a sailor, and a wonderful father, friend and life companion. When he retired in 2011 he began in earnest his devotion to his beloved backyard bluebirds and his puppies. He often said he wanted to talk to the animals like Tarzan did. Gracie and Lucy listened devotedly to every word he said. I believe the bluebirds were listening in his backyard. Perhaps he's flying over the rainbow with bluebirds right now, as he often said he wanted to do.

The ETSE played county fairs, weddings, U.S. State Department cultural programs and - beginning in 1972, they represented Texas hillbilly music at the annual Texas Folklife Festival in San Antonio. In approximately 1983, Charles Gardner left the group and was replaced by local high school teacher and fiddler Ronnie Wolf. The original members of the band are all deceased but leave a legacy of having communicated the joy and excitement of traditional rural country music to new generations.

Search | Add | 3 | Goran Kan | Goran Kan | Goran Kan started DJing around 1998. In the beginning of his career as a DJ, he mostly played house music. From then till now, the tribal vibe is still in his DJ sets and production as well. Back in 2001, he had his first residency at summer club 'Havana' in Skopje. After that summer he got into techno. He has played in all of the cities in Macedonia, including: Bitola, Ohrid, Gevgelija, Kavadarci, Gostivar... Because of the bad club politics in Skopje, he started organising parties himself at different locations, parties under the promotion group called 'V.C.P.' He received the award The most successful Macedonian DJ in 2004 at manifestation named '13 for the best'. He was a part of the project called 'Bang Box' (Tour with some other Djs from Macedonia). Started producing in 1999. From then till now, his production has changed from house to techno. His first release was on Terry Mitchell's Primal Force, EP called Dirty Dance, and he has also signed for some other labels like Real Sessions, Dark House Music ... releases on their way. |

Search | Add | 3 | Delizie Italiane | Delizie Italiane | The trio Delizie Italiane (Italian Delicacy) was formed in September 2000, fuelled by its members’ great interest in wine, cooking and southern culture. It took a little while for the trio to find their own sound, since they had no real template to refer to, but now they feel that they have mastered the true Delizie sound – where simplicity reigns supreme. When Delizie Italiane performs, they focus on creating a comfortable and easy going Italian mood, and it almost goes without saying that this particular kind of music flows especially well with food and drink. The trio has made three CD´s, “Passione“, “Delizie Italiane” and “La vita con te“. Leone Tinganelli : vocal and guitar Jón Elvar Hafsteinsson : guitar and vocal Jón Rafnsson : double bass and vocal |

Search | Add | 3 | Maxine Gillon | Melbourne-based artist, composer & producer Maxine Gillon has made a name for herself with her lush expansive songs that introject the energy and attitudes of the rich countercultural history of alternative music into a contemporary eclectic form, devoid of any genre constraints or limitations. Snappy beats, gutter intellectual lyricism, interlocking melodic layers & a complete dedication to the songwriting form. Her third EP ‘Ultra Lounge' was released in late 2022 to critical acclaim. Across six tracks, it straddles a balance between driving and catchy rock numbers and more introspective ballads, retaining the same lush and layered instrumentation throughout. It was mixed and mastered by Wade Keighran (ELVIS (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), Wolf & Cub). It also features guest vocals from Jonnine Standish (HTRK , Jonnine). The EP and its accompanying singles garnered national and global airplay on 2ser, fbi, NTS (UK), RRR, KOR Radio, and 4ZZZ. They also garnered press features on US-based website Post-punk.com, Backseat Mafia, 2Ser, Demure Mag & AMNplify. Born in Sydney and having cut her teeth in the Sydney music scene, she has released two eps, “Lips In Front Of Your Teeth” and “The Six Strings of Sappho”; the latter featuring Lindy Morrison from The Go-Betweens on drums. She formerly played lead guitar in Sydney-based post-punk band Second Idol, whose achievements during her tenure include a crowd-funded vinyl debut EP release, sold-out headliners and support slots with Baxter Dury (UK), Jen Cloher, The Goon Sax and Wolf & Cub.
