Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

On December 5th of 2000, Universal Music Group released the CD single "Washed Out" (Produced by Rockwilder) b/w "Queens" (produced by Ruler Divine) by QSR which didn't do well to UMG's surprise considering how much promo had been done by the artists. | Search | Add | 5 | Московское Трио | Ансамбль солистов «Московское трио» | Moscow Trio is a Soviet Russian classical trio (piano, cello, violin). Formed in 1968 by students of the chamber ensemble class of the Moscow Conservatory [a4509800] [a1684492] (piano), [a2963810] (violin) and [a7086504] = Miron Yampolsky (cello). In the mid-1970s, the line-up changed to Bonduryansky, Ivanov and Utkin and remains so to this day: [a1684492] = Александр Бондурянский - piano [a1684495] = Владимир Иванов - violin [a1684485] = Михаил Уткин - cello The ensemble of soloists "Moscow Trio" is rightfully considered one of the leading chamber ensembles of the world class. The ensemble of soloists "Moscow Trio" is a laureate of international competitions in Munich (1969, 2nd prize), Belgrade (1972, 1st prize), Budapest (1975, 1st prize), Bordeaux (1976, gold medal of M. Ravel). All three musicians received an excellent school of ensemble mastery in the class of Professor T. A. Gaidamovich = [a4509800]. In addition, the artists have a large solo repertoire, often performing in Russia and abroad with solo concerts and accompanied by orchestras. The repertoire of the Moscow Trio soloists ensemble includes over 200 works, numerous concert programs, of which the following should be noted: “Piano Trios of Russian Composers”, “History of the Genre”, “Piano Trios of the Romantic Era”, “All Works of Beethoven”, monograph programs dedicated to the works of W. A. Mozart, F. Schubert, F. Mendelssohn, J. Brahms, S. Rachmaninoff, D. D. Shostakovich. In concerts of the Moscow Trio, triple concertos by L. van Beethoven, A. Casella, B. Martinů, N. N. Cherepnin, S. S. Berinsky, A. V. Tchaikovsky and A. A. Nikolaev are performed, accompanied by symphony orchestras. The last three works were inspired by the ensemble, dedicated to it and first performed by it in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. One of the most important tasks of the Moscow Trio soloists' ensemble is to return forgotten masterpieces of the past to the listener. This is evidenced by the Moscow premieres of the trios of M. Clementi, I. Brahms, F. Schubert, K. Schumann, E. T. A. Hoffmann, E. Grieg, G. Donizetti, K. Debussy. The musicians performed the previously unknown youth Trio No. 1 by D. D. Shostakovich for the first time. The ensemble's active propaganda activities attract the attention of modern composers writing in this genre. A. V. Tchaikovsky, M. I. Chulaki, E. L. Lazarev, I. I. Golubev, Yu. M. Butsko, V. A. Grokhovsky, the Finnish composer P.-H. Nordgren, A. Friedman from France and others dedicated their works to the Moscow Trio soloists' ensemble. Many foreign and domestic composers consider it an honor to trust the Moscow Trio with the premieres of their works. Not only works for the trio are performed in the musicians' concerts. More than once they have invited famous artists of other specialties for joint performances: vocalists E. Nesterenko and G. Pisarenko, American singer Yu. Kaufman, violists Yu. Bashmet, A. Bobrovsky and M. Tolpygo, clarinetists V. Sokolov and R. Bagdasaryan, double bass player R. Gabdullin. The geography of the trio's tours is diverse, having performed in more than 300 cities of the former USSR and in 45 countries of the world - from Argentina to Japan and from Norway to Egypt. His art was applauded by audiences in such concert halls as the Wigmore Hall in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, the Old Opera in Frankfurt, the Municipal Theatre in Rio de Janeiro, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires and the Merkin Hall in New York, the best halls in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The ensemble participated in prestigious festivals in Helsinki, Belgrade, Florence, Prague, Berlin, Dubrovnik, Ludwigsburg, Sofia, St. Petersburg and Moscow. The ensemble's concert at the Ohrid Festival (Macedonia) was recognized as the best in 1994. The ensemble's artists conduct master classes and seminars in Russia and abroad. The German newspaper wrote: "...Three artists, teachers of the Moscow Conservatory, made these days of the Courses unforgettable for all participants, thanks to their artistic charm and the power of pedagogical persuasion." The Moscow Trio soloists' ensemble recorded most of its repertoire on radio and gramophone records by the Melodiya company, and then on compact discs by companies in Germany, France and the USA. The ensemble's work received high praise in their homeland - the musicians were awarded the honorary titles of People's Artists of Russia, the Moscow Prize in Literature and Art, and the newspaper Muzykalnoye Obozreniye called them "the ensemble of 1997." |

| Search | Add | 5 | Karraskilla | Juan Karraskilla | Karraskilla's sound is thick with shadows of his past adventures in rock, funk, and Latin jazz - enough to be dubbed by one artist as "classic psychedelic in a modern package". His productions have also been described as "pretty wild", and "no hype, no recipe, just fresh unexpected surprising music." by others. With a mouth-watering melodic groove and spine tingling Detroit-infused bass lines, Karraskilla always promise a danceable sound for a hungry crowd. In 2008, he co-founded the popular New York City-based Biatch Corp Recordings label with Alvaro Bueno AKA Pito, the label's debut release was also Karraskilla's first. Entitled "Su Merced el Pimp" with remixes from Jussi Pekka and Perc, his debut was " ..a highly danceable and equally enjoyable affair" according to 365Mag. Fine tuning his skills as a DJ, he played top New York nightclubs such as Studio B, Sullivan Room, and Cielo before releasing "Tren Siete Expreso Cali" on Biatch Corp with remixes from Brendon Moeller and Pawas. De-Bug called that one "[a] very fine and surprisingly deep plate". His third release, "La Estancia con Mi Amigo el Efimero", got some serious buzz last fall. Big room flavor, different, weird, unexpected, awesome, spooky & wild, were some of the words used to describe Biatch Corp's sixth release. Karraskilla' latest EP - "Premium Traditional” is to be release on Nov 19th, 2010 with two originals and a remix from Ascii Disko. He also has a remix due out on Hidden Recording's highly anticipated follow-up to their much talked-about new single. He also has a spate of high quality unreleased tunes he is currently polishing up for release in 2011. |

Started to fall in love with hiphop at 8 years old after listening to Back For the First time by Ludacris. Adopted the moniker "Jody Lo" at just 13 years old (influenced by the late Atlanta MC Shawty Lo) after Jody gained a signifigant amount of influence from the era of 2004-2009 with the outbreak of seemingly DIY trap music from artists like Shawty Lo, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, Lil Boosie, Zed Zilla and Starlito. At the same time still a child of the "Lil Wayne era" which is evident through the admirable lyrical effort put forth by Jody Lo on each track. After practicing writing and reciting for more than 10 years, Jody Lo hit the studio for the first time at 21 years old when he recorded the hustle & flow mixtape, Substance, substance 1.5 & Sack Religion. Also appeared on Dj Smallz Eyes in a 27 minute interview. For the in depth life story check the DJ smallz eyes interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wi27N7565WY&t=47s |

De España En El Exilio | The Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (English: National Confederation of Labour; CNT) is a Spanish confederation of anarcho-syndicalist labour unions, which was long affiliated with the International Workers' Association (AIT). When working with the latter group it was also known as CNT-AIT. Historically, the CNT has also been affiliated with the Federación Anarquista Ibérica (English: Iberian Anarchist Federation); thus, it has also been referred to as the CNT-FAI. Throughout its history, it has played a major role in the Spanish labor movement. Founded in 1910 in Barcelona from groups brought together by the trade union Solidaridad Obrera, it significantly expanded the role of anarchism in Spain, which can be traced to the creation of the Federación de Trabajadores de la Región Española, the successor organization to the Spanish chapter of the IWA. Despite several decades when the organization was illegal in Spain, today the CNT continues to participate in the Spanish worker's movement, focusing its efforts on the principles of workers' self-management, federalism, and mutual aid.

| Search | Add | 5 | The Mahlors | There are many bands that fuse the sounds of Reggae and Rock. There are few bands who can pull it off and make it their own. The Mahlors are not just your ordinary band. The Mahlors were conceived by lead guitarist/vocalist Justin Jones and lead vocalist/guitarist Kevin Gresh in 2008. Pretty soon, Jones was writing song after song with Gresh, and the two knew they were on to something. Drawing from a wide range of musical influences that ranged from Bob Marley to Minor Threat, The Police to N.W.A., to the jazz greats of Coltrane and Miles, they were creating a unique take on the genre of Reggae. Jones and Gresh were determined to start a band. The beginning of the band started with Jones, Gresh, and their long-time friend and drummer, TJ Haslett. They went through a line-up of bass players until they came across Anthony Villar. The four instantly clicked. The vibes were on point and the band set off to turn some heads. And turn heads they did. By 2009, the band was playing non-stop all around the state of PA. They quickly became a local favorite amongst all different age groups, all the while nobody in the band was even over the age of 18. After gigging, the band finally stepped in the recording studio to cut their first album. By the end of the summer, they already sold over 100 self - made CD's. The Mahlors weren't done yet. That same year in between shows, the boys went back into the studio to produce their second album entitled Give In. It had become even popular than their first. They continued to perform and were racking up gigs almost every week. By 2010, the band had already opened up for national acts such as The Supervillains, The Movement, Ballyhoo, The Green, Bad Manners, The B Foundation, Iration, Echo Movement, and many more. They were gathering up a loyal following all along the East Coast. Kevin Gresh quit the group in late 2011 for personal reasons. Although this set the group back, it did not stop them. Justin moved on to lead vocal duties and guitar, and they added longtime friend of the band Ryan DeHaven to play guitar and sing backing vocals. This lineup change gave the band new legs, and they started to grind harder than ever before. In 2012 they played over 160 shows and closed out the year with a month long tour up and down the entire east coast. 2013 brought some challenges; when bassist Anthony Villar parted ways from the band, at first they didn't really know what to do, but then they were saved by Jeff MacCain. A guitarist by nature and a longtime friend of the band, Jeff has filled Anthony's shoes on bass better than expected, and continues to rock shows with the band. Aside from that The Mahlors still managed to go on a few tours in 2013, ending the year with a long one that consisted of an east coast run as well as a leg out to Chicago and back. Now it is 2014, and The Mahlors continue to broaden their horizons. After playing over 300 shows in the last two years, and touring up and down the east coast many times, their relentless gigging and dedication has served to establish themselves as an incredible and unmissable live act. Their fan base is growing faster than ever and people are swarming to see and hear the unique blend of reggae and punk than The Mahlors produce!! Genre: If Reggae had sex with Punk, Ska, Dub, Rocksteady, Hiphop, and Jazz. Band Members: Justin Jones: Guitar/Vocals Ryan DeHaven: Guitar/Vocals Jeff MacCain: Bass TJ Haslett: Drums | |
