Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 5 | TBandzo | Northwest resident TBandzo has often stated that he never writes his lyrics down, instead preferring to freestyle. Mixing Drill with elements of Trap, TBandzo’s bouncy off the beat flow mixed with thuming 808 laced beats makes what TBandzo likes to call ‘Nrap Music’. Releasing his debut tape ‘No Reply After Payment’ in October 2022 the 7 track player demonstrated TBandzo’s stand out talent in an often samey scene. On ‘RCE Style’ TBandzo flexes his truths across a delicate beat, ‘No hand outs so please keep a hand in’. TBandz uses ‘RCE Style’ to effortlessly segway into the second half of the tape where sample based rhythms ‘PYP’, ‘T’D UP’ & ‘BOUT A SCAM’ live. All three contain energy which hits you like a punch in the face, and instantly makes you wanna get sturdy. This energy is unsurprisingly uplifted when transferred to a live setting and TBandzo knows how to emulate his recorded energy on stage leaving the audience charged up wanting more. TBandzo is just getting started and ‘No Reply After Payment’ is just the tip of the iceberg…

Search | Add | 5 | Wendel Jr. | Wendel Jr. - Percussion Replacement System | "Wendel Jr. is NOT another drum machine. Wendel Jr. is a state of the art, digital, percussion sound replacement device." That is the introduction the Wendel Jr. is given in the manual produced by Wendel Labs Ltd. in 1985. First introduced by [a=Steely Dan] on their [r=844094] album in 1980, the Wendel Jr. soon became a very popular drum sampler/drum machine used by numerous famous artist, groups and producers. The Wendel Jr's drum sounds are 16 bit sounds sampled at 50 kHz, recorded with no equalization on a 3M Digital Mastering System and then digitally transferred through a special interface, into the EPROM's that are in the Wendel Jr. cartridges being used for playback. The sounds recorded in the Wendel Jr. are not chopped off at the end. The natural decay is totally preserved in the memory chips, therefore providing extremely natural sounding sounds. "Think of Wendel Jr's output as a good mic in the right place of a good sounding drum. The phrase 'Realer than real' comes to mind, but I promised that I would not use it in this manual" is how Roger Nichols describes the Wendel Jr. in the manual. |

Search | Add | 5 | Helmuth Stapff-Gruppe | From 1928 [a3079066] appeared at home evenings of the Erzgebirgsverein, initially alone as a singer and reciter. In 1936 he met the sisters Martha "Marthel" and Emmy Pimpl, who were successful singers as Grünhainer Pimpl-Maad. The joint appearances soon led to the fact that the three got together as a mixed three-voice (soprano, alto and baritone) and adopted the permanent name Helmuth Stapff Gruppe. Emmy left after their wedding in 1948 and was initially replaced by her sister-in-law Magda Reinwarth, who in turn was replaced a few years later by Else Seidel. Stapff and Marthel Pimpl married in 1954. In 1955 Stapff moved to West Germany and lived in Graefenberg for a good ten years, then in Buckenhofen (now Forchheim). In the west, too, the Helmuth Stapff Gruppe continued its vocal activity until the spring of 1978.

Search | Add | 5 | D.Bace | 디베이스 | D. Bace was a South Korean pop, pop rap group. The group was produced by South Korean rapper D.O (Lee Hyun-do). The group consisted of five members at first; Jed, Kim Hwan-ho, Oh Su-an, Song Ji-hoon, and Nam Hyun-jun. After their first album, the group took a hiatus and returned with a second album in 2003, which would be the last album that all five members would perform together as a group. Many of the other members left the group to focus on their own career or different projects, while Ji-hoon and Hwan-ho stayed. In turn, it led the group to drop down to a duo. Jed however, did come back to perform on the last two singles by D.Bace to date. They officially disbanded in 2018. In 2001, D.Bace were nominated the New Artist of the Year Award, at the KMTV Song Awards. |

Search | Add | 5 | Il sogno | IL SOGNO is about storytelling, freedom and intuition. The Polish-Danish-Italian trio uses melodic, minimal compositions as a motor for elevated and focused collective improvisations. With its lyrical uniqueness, their music floats on the borders between genres, landing somewhere between jazz, motion picture soundtrack, experimental and minimalism. Italian opera and the Polish romantic piano heritage, as well as the Danish wise interpretation of the African-American culture play a decisive role in the background, combining a mature, personal sound with deep emotional content.
