Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026

Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 5 José Lázaro Tello José Lázaro Tello Cordero His beginnings were on Radio Miraflores in 1945 and replacing Alberto Olivares Sánchez Moreno, the beloved "Sapito". He did so badly that he asked Clemente Palma for another chance and thus three months passed to achieve his goal. It featured the duo "Bolaños-Monteverde". D'acosta, the black Jack y Velásquez "El Trío Lucumí" and Linda Izquierdo, who performed singing boleros with great success. On Radio Atalaya, "Los Embajadores Criollos" triumphed with David Odría, a great revelation of the microphone and that, due to the popularity achieved in a short time, were the "jale" of Radio Victoria, "The Station of the Best Programs". A brilliant management by José Eduardo Cavero Andrade and who won "Los Ídolos del Pueblo" forever. Another station was emerging at that time. Radio "La Crónica". On large projects, directed by Juán Silva Villacorta and who set his expectations on David Odría. A special offer led to its acceptance and left the "Creole Ambassadors" without a midday entertainer. Then the opportunity would come for José Lázaro Tello, who, with everything he learned on Radio Miraflores and later on Radio Callao, is hired by Radio Victoria, positions himself and becomes the owner of such a privileged place. It would begin there, the long career of this great Creole speaker from Chiclayo.

Search Add 5 The Blue Magnolia Jass Orchestra Since they were formed in 1968, the eight piece Orchestra have released EP's, LP's, as well as appearing on numerous television shows including a 30 minute feature as part of Granada TV's Music on the Move series. When HRH the Prince of Wales visited Liverpool, the Blue Mags were invited to play for him. The chaps are, of course, widely travelled throughout the UK and Europe. At the Den Bosch festival in Holland, they won the prestigious Band of the Year award in the face of competition from 100 bands all over the world. What makes the Blue Mags so popular is that their style of playing and their uninhibited approach fits in, whatever the occasion. They are constantly in demand for University balls, dinner dances, sports clubs, jazz festivals, weddings, because they are masters at appealing to all age groups. The line up consists of clarinet, trumpet, saxophone and trombone. The rhythm section has drums, piano, banjo and double bass. The chaps will tell you that they are entertainers rather than a 'serious' jazz band and their repertoire supports this view. They claim that jazz is an entertaining and enjoyable music that can be appreciated by everybody. However, let's not underestimate the Blue Mags. You don't win Band of the Year awards and get asked to play at all the major jazz festivals year after year just by producing a happy sound. Nor are recreations of the Morton Hot Peppers and King Oliver classics possible by other than skilled musicians.

The Live PA form describes the connection hardware tools (sequencer, sampler, and more..). Combinate various forms of electronic music, mainly breakbeats rhythms spiced with techno, acid and rave elements, with ambient excursions. In music production you can hear crossing the sharp variations of drums, pumping synthetic bass lines, pads and crystalline surfaces and synthesizer grooves complete with vocal and voice samples reflects our common positive message to all of this subculture.

Search Add 5 xtfunk2 sergio XTFUNK2.. Under this alias is the veteran Asturian DJ and collector, Sergio Rodríguez, and we say veteran because he was one of the key people in the underground musical network of the city of Gijón since the early 90s. Influenced by garage, Chicago music and the acid-house movement, in 1995 he founded Metro Club Gijón, developing the activity for successive years. His participation in the emblematic Chemistry (Gijón) with the Club Culture project and his residences in the Warsaw and Bossanova, -common stops on the night route of Oviedo and Gijón at the end of the 90s-, stimulated his taste for the disco music, deep house and the more natural sounds of dance music. In the year 2000, his vision of the essence of the club would be recorded with the creation of the Romano club, a musical space converted into a meeting point for nights in Gijón. owns 2 labels..Soy punk pero me gusta el funk.records and Metrojackbeat.records..., an epic universe that will be assembled as an infectious mix of jacking beats, 303 riffs, raw disco and electronica, presented in solid and rigorous 12"s . From the beginning to the present, Sergio has been linked to the scene, frequently participating in independent events, in addition to having continued to manically load his personal discotheque with rare pieces and out-of-print editions.
