Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Elen Diana | Elen Diana | Elen Diana, born in São Paulo in the neighborhood of Lapa on September 20, 1981, was raised in a Christian home and until then taught in the ways of the Lord by her parents who already sang and who had already consecrated themselves as great names in gospel music, Jorge Araújo and Eula Paula. A year later his sister Suelen was born, then Daniela and Jorginho. Since she was born she never hid her admiration for singing and her parents decided to put her participation in three hymns in one of her works. At just four years old, Elen Diana was recording for the first time. As a result of the repercussion of the work in 1988 Jorge and Eula then decided to record a children's album with Elen and her brothers "Vamos Louvar a Jeová" which was already called "turma do noisy" by the brothers of the church where they congregated, and so Eula decided to put the name of the group Turma do Barulho. The success was inevitable because the Turma do Barulho was everything that parents, children, churches expected, and the hymn "Vamos Louvar a Jeová" (Let's Praise Jehovah) is still sung by children all over the world. Turma do Barulho is undoubtedly the most popular Portuguese-language gospel children's group in the world and, like their parents Jorge and Eula, are part of the history of Brazilian gospel music. Elen Diana started composing when she was 12 years old. Her lyrics expressed the new phase, the entry into adolescence, with happy rhythms and lyrics, which were beginning to be part of the Turma do Barulho repertoire. Her dedication did not stop there. As she grew older and understood the importance of the work she developed with children along with her siblings, she decided to take a pedagogy course to make the work even more serious. In 2000, the family decided to set up a Recording Studio, Studio Nova Geração, which today is one of the main studios in São Paulo, since music was everyone's life. With that, everyone's potential was further enhanced, an example of this is Jorginho, his younger brother, who today is the main arranger of the studio, having even worked on an album by Shirley Carvalhaes. Elen Diana continued to compose hymns for the Turma do Barulho, but, at the same time, began to compose more mature lyrics as each phase of her life influences her compositions, making it clear that this is one of her main characteristics as a composer. He then began to show the novelty and his mother, who is his confidant and best friend, who had not recorded for seven years, because with the travels, and also dissatisfied with the compositions that appeared, then decided to launch her daughter as a composer also of the genre, as he did with several composers. Again it worked, and had repercussions all over the world, United States, Japan, Europe, Canada, with that Elen Diana became more confident and decided that it was time to release her first solo cd, as she felt the need to reach young and adult audiences as well. . Everything was in her favor, and she took it as a sign from God that this really was the right time. Her brother Jorginho Araújo was the arranger of the CD, and Elen Diana the music producer of the CD. Everything went very well, but all under the experienced eye of father Jorge Araújo, who has been a producer for over 30 years.

Her universe is created by sorrow and hope, love and lies, darkness and light. Juka’s sources of inspiration are experiences of, feelings about and observations surrounding the complex and simple realities we usually refer to as life. Juka is the solo project from frontwoman, singer, guitarist, pianist etc. in the avantgarde-pop-group Qu'est-ce Que Fück, the punk band Walking Psychosis and Mack the Knife.

Search | Add | 2 | The Tyn Tymes | Ten USA college students attending Auburn University, the University of Alabama, and Jacksonville State University formed the group in 1966. All of the original band members were from the same hometown, Gadsden, Alabama. The five horn players all graduated from Gadsden High School, and the five members of the rhythm section all graduated from Emma Sansom High School, cross-town rivals. The original members of the band were… Jerry Rickles, lead vocals, trumpet, Ronnie Cornutt, Hammond organ, back-up vocals, arrangements, Danny Clayton, lead guitar, back-up vocals, Lanny Thomas, drummer, Chip Davidson, bass, back-up vocals, Carl Sharpe, trumpet, Rick Countryman, trumpet, Ken Striplin, tenor sax, James “Swing” Smith, tenor and baritone sax, Mike Keracher, tenor sax Almost two years after they were formed, they had their first personnel change. Danny Clayton was offered an athletic scholarship to Jacksonville State University and felt that he could not devote the time required to play in the band. Mike Marbut, of Jacksonville, Alabama, joined the band as the new lead guitar player. In 1967, the military began to play a part in lives of some band members. Carl Sharpe had to leave the band for four months to serve active duty in the National Guard. During that time the band played with one less member of the horn section. After Carl returned, Rick Countryman left in August of 1968 for active duty in the Army National Guard. While he was away David Bowen of Gadsden filled in on trumpet with the band for several months until his return. In early 1969, the group recorded their only record. It was recorded at the legendary Fame Recording Studio in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Search | Add | 2 | The Paradoxical State | The sounds of New York Rapper & Producer Jestoneart. Paradoxical State's music is inspired mostly by old-school 70's dub and Trip Hop with the dark baselines of old-school reggae (rockers), the deep stringy elements of drum and bass and electronica (rollers), the “boom-bap” of reconstructed break-beats, and clever spoken word poetics . These elements were combined to create what PState calls its "signature sound." P.State” consists of lyrical front-man Jestoneart, Esq and his faceless sound-boy DekoyOktopus. Together, this duo invites all listeners to join them for a shadowy journey through “DarkCity” and DarkCityDos (Dub Sessions) -
