Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Andrew Magro | Andrew Magro Miggiani | Andrew Magro Miggiani (aka A-MAG) has always shown strong interest in music since his early years. Way back when he was 5, started attending piano lessons which helped him develop his musical realm. Back in the day, alternative rock and metal were his day-to-day choice, though he quickly developed a particular interest in electronic music. Discovered house and techno at the early teenage years which instantly awakened his inner self. Kept developing his interest and shaping his musical perspective within those genres. Although his piano days were over at the age of 15, he moved over to DJing and electronic music production; though his gigs started at a later stage in his mid-20's. His past influences played an important role in developing his tastes in the various sub-genres of house and techno. His selection ranges from melodic styles to soulful, deep, dubby and spiritual. |

Search | Add | 2 | Eternal Student | Marvin Prather | Marvin Prather grew up in an era which continued the legacy of the infamous Detroit dance scene social clubs. Kids throwing parties with hundreds of guests dancing to latest records of the early to mid-1980’s, played by a select group of talented young DJ’s. Many of these DJs would go on to become the founders and innovators of what we know today as house and techno music. During those early years through today, Marvin has and is developing relationships with those DJ’s and producers. “In addition to growing up around of host of talented musicians in and around Motown, I was blessed to grow up with what was to become some of the most prolific house and techno producers on the planet today.” After a stint of military duty, Marvin’s young adult years were filled with late Friday nights into early Saturday mornings at the infamous Music Institute. Out of a desire to acquire more DJ bookings, Marvin took to production work. It is here where he discovered his passion. To his own surprise, he has produced several songs, catching the ear of his musical peers and some of the most respected local producers and label owners. Moods & Grooves Records took note of his production and released Marvin’s first EP titled Here Me Though. This is what happens when 40 years of musical knowledge and experiences are released from a soul with an eternal passion for music. As DJ Eternal Student, Marvin is truly an up and coming producer to watch out for. |

Search | Add | 2 | Chelsea O'Donnell | O'Donnell began playing around Western New York in 2013, initially calling herself Wolf and eventually forming a band. After releasing one EP, the group went through a few different line-ups and, in time, changed their name to Stress Dolls. In the Spring of 2016 the band recorded a self-titled EP at GCR Audio and released the recording later that same year. Over the next several months they performed in Buffalo as well as neighboring cities and towns, and opened shows for touring acts such as Shonen Knife, We Are Scientists, and USS. Due to differing pursuits the band split in early 2017, but O'Donnell decided to keep playing under the name Stress Dolls. She made a move to Nashville, TN but wasn't even there a year before chronic health issues she had been struggling with - Crohn's disease and gastroparesis- sent her to the hospital to undergo a feeding tube procedure. Following the surgery she moved back to Buffalo, and after a period of recovery, began writing, performing, and recording again. Largely due to the tentative nature of her health, O'Donnell established Stress Dolls as a solo act in order to decrease stress and go at her own pace. From 2019 to 2021 O'Donnell independently recorded and released new music with a few different collaborators, including Charles Dusel (Lonestar Sailing), Jay Milton (The Demos), and Marc Hunt. In early 2022 she was invited to work with producer Jim Wirt (Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate, Incubus) at Superior Sound Studios in Cleveland, OH. After recording several songs together, including her upcoming single, "Body," she was offered a record deal with Sun Pedal Recordings. Currently, Stress Dolls takes on several forms live: solo with O'Donnell and her acoustic guitar; as a duo when joined by longtime collaborator Sally Schaefer on violin; or as a band when combined with members TJ Luckman (bass), Jordan Smith (lead guitar), and Josh English (drums). The project's sound has drawn such comparisons as "Joni Mitchell meets Nirvana," "Avril Lavigne and Foo Fighters in a blender," and "Kathleen Hanna fronting Modest Mouse." | |

Search | Add | 2 | Curbeaters | CURBEATERS are/were kind of like “the father you never saw and didn't know was there, but suddenly he knocks at your door“. At least that's kind of like the case to well-known German acts BLACK SHAPE OF NEXUS, IRA , PLANKS and ULTHA. Band from Köln, Mannheim, Konstanz, Friedrichshafen, Germany The history: In 2002 all members of the project spent a lot of time on a German message board for underground DIY punk/hardcore/metal and they mutually knew each other from shows and festivals. Several ideas for projects were founded by members of that board – non ever really gave birth to a record. Tom, Andy and Geb met for one weekend to practice and record a few ideas. Ralph was supposed to play bass but couldn't make it to that weekend. So the remaining members recorded the three tracks on this very record. There was never another proper rehearsal or plans to commence the band, but the instrumental tracks made their way through various channels and always got great feedback. The originally intended singer never made it to record vocals, so the whole thing just kind of faded to a distant memory and all members went on to play in some of the most well-known acts in German DIY metal/doom. Fast forward to 2016: Andy and Ralph both ended up in Cologne, playing together in a black metal band called Ultha. Andy is a professional recording enginieer and always kept up hope to actually finish the songs at some point. After an intital push by Timo (Golden Antenna Records) a few years back, to have Ralph record the vocals, the idea popped back up in 2016. Andy just opened his Goblin Sound Studio and Ralph is fairly well known for his trademark lyrics and vocal performance in now defunct Golden Antenna Records act Planks. Ralph wrote some lyrics and tried out the vocals – it turned out to be a perfect match for the three doom laden sludgy rock songs. Now hell froze over and Andy's persistance paid off: 'Time Is Unforgiving', a three song EP and the result of more than 15 years in the making. Limited to 300 records on vinyl distributed by the label which played a major part in why this thing came together after all these years. CURBEATERS consisted of TOM (Ex-Ira, Ex-Blindspot aD.)
