Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024

Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Juanita Fletcher Born to a deeply spiritual family, Juanita has been singing since the tender age of four. She is a native of Chester, Pennsylvania, where she was born, raised and musically cultivated. She sang her first notes in a church shepherded by her grandmother, Pastor Melvina White. Juanita's musical gifts started being groomed from a very young age by aunts Maxine Wilson, Rosemary Pyatt and Carolyn Overton. 2002 marked the independent release of Juanita’s debut CD “Surrender”. After promoting her CD on her own, Juanita attracted Road to Glory Records and the project was re-released on the Road to Glory label in 2003. During the first few years of Juanita's career she showcased in almost 30 venues. On October 29, 2002, a song from "Surrender": her 1st project titled "Conflict", received a coveted Top 10 position in the Demo Review Panel & Contest sponsored by the Washington, DC chapter of Recording Academy. Panelist/Judges included Melissa Ruggieri, music critic for Richmond Times Dispatch and South Records' Andy Martin. In 2004 Juanita released her sophomore album, "Free to Be Me!". From this project she also won Gospel Single of the Year 2004 by a Female artist for her song “Day Away” at the 4th Annual Tiffany Gospel Awards in New York. In 2006, she released her third album "Turning Point". While recording and promoting these 3 CDs, Juanita also completed her undergraduate studies at Tidewater Bible College in Virginia Beach, Virginia. There she earned her Associates Degree in Ministry Studies and her Bachelor Degree in Christian Leadership. She later earned a Master of Divinity at Virginia Union University’s Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology and a Master of Management and Leadership at Liberty University. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate degree. Finally, Juanita's recordings and ministry moments have often been described by others as love songs to God. Juanita herself describes her sound simply as soulful elegance ministered to an audience of one. Juanita is an anointed Psalmist who brings a definite sophistication to the deliverance of God's word through song.

Search Add 2 TWNTY SVN Jesse Mays TWNTY SVN is a rap artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. His music is particularly distinctive because of the grittier, textural tones that fuel his imaginative creativity. Born Jesse Mays, TWNTY SVN was active with another stage name earlier, but he finally refined his sound and identity, kickstarting a brand new musical journey! Formerly known as Kidd Steeze, TWNTY SVN achieved many milestones since the start of his career. He appeared at world-famous events such as SXSW, as well as collaborating with a wide range of acclaimed artists and industry insiders alike. In 2017, he even teamed up with fellow artist Famous Dex to release a soaring new single, “Woah.” This was one of the first tracks for the artist to truly make waves, attracting the attention of the listener and a wider audience at large. This was only the beginning of a fantastic career in music, with one successful single after another, allowing the artist to eventually grow into the project that will be known as TWNTY SVN. With a new moniker, this gifted rapper also took the opportunity to refine his sound, bringing his lyrics to new depths, and highlighting his ability to combine modern hip-hop, with golden age influences. As a true perfectionist TWNTY SVN always goes a long way to make sure that his tracks are tailored to perfection, every time he posts something new. His sound blurs the lines between punchy rhythms, and warm melodies, with a one-of-a-kind attitude. TWNTY SVN was discovered and subsequently signed by Loyalty Over Royalty Records CEO Warren Wells placing him alongside talented musical acts such as Bizzy, DEMON, and Skully2Timez amongst others.

Search Add 2 the trve Bapphoman A collective of artists from Italy, writing music under aliases, active since 2002. The collective claim to be the musical branch of an esoteric order. Thematically, their lyrics are various degrees of satire targeting the Italian's and World's politics, popular culture and musical subcultures (especially Black Metal and Metal as a whole). The collective remained quite elusive, spreading some handmade demo compilations with dozens of songs of very different styles, until 2022, when it signed with Nycticorax Production. From there, The Trve Bapphoman started to publish official remastered compilations of new and old songs.

Active from 1989 - 2011 (Split up) Originally formed as a side-project of members of [a=Sin Eater (2)] and (soon-to-be members of) [a=Catastrophic (3)] in 1989, and released their first album "Chicken Cults" in 1990. Over time the project became more serious (in member commitment, not in lyrical content) and in 1998 they recruited members of [a=Blood Coven] and [a=Dahmer (2)] to fill out the line-up, leading to them playing a lot more shows, most notably a show as the only other band alongside Entombed. This line-up recorded and released "Extra Crispy" in 2009. Original bassist [a=Rob Toothman] passed away in 2012.

Integrantes Leandro Angelo: Guitarra Y Voz Carlos Balbina: Guitarra Alejandro Abad: Bajo Kino Angelo: Batería
