Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Houston! | HOUSTON! formed in 2006 as a hard rock act formed by four young musicians coming from different styles and stories, Niko, Gaby, Phil and Dave, respectively vocals, bass, guitar and drum. In the first year they recorded a demo called “Never alcoholized” and they started building themselves a name around the live scene in Piacenza, Italy After a few months, the band enters the studio to record the first album “Fast in elegance” which opens the doors to the international collaboration with the US based label Sliptrick Records. We are in february 2008. In april HOUSTON! is the opening act for the Vengeance, a famous Dutch band, and due to an extraordinary live performance, demonstrating once again their natural feel for the stage, they get in touch with Erik Prins, manager of Mam Agency, starting a new collaboration. In october, following a series of gigs in the north of Italy, the band heads for the Netherlands and Belgium for its first european tour which rises a lot of attention and reaches new fans. Back in Italy HOUSTON! start working on the tracks for the new album “Mechanical sunshine”. When the new drummer Giovanni “Nello” Savinelli joins the band the music becomes more articulate and complex, the vocals become more aggressive making the perfect pair with the blistering guitar riffs. At the end of april 2009 the band is once again on tour across Europe raising positive reactions and expanding the number of band’s fans. Most of the gigs are sold out! After the tour the band signs with Tanzan Music for the release of the long awaited second album “Mechanical sunshine” which will be available in summer 2011. | |

Ремикс на композицию "От непониманий" получил название "Where Are You?". В итоге ирландские DJ, которые сотрудничают с лэйблом, сделали ремиксы на "Where Are You?"

From bringing artists together into the same room, to curating a vibe in the space before they step in. I’m always trying to push boundaries in the process. I look at mixing and engineering as a real way to do that. A way of helping artist’s translate what they are hearing (or not hearing) in their head to what they want the world to hear out loud.

| Search | Add | 5 | Leni Re'nae | Born: July 28, 1936. Leni ReNae's father immigrated to Canada from Germany before the Second World War, while her mother is of German origin as well. Her father settled in northern Saskatchewan. She's the oldest of three children and the only one that had musical talent, which she says was inherited from her grandfather on her mother's side. He played fiddle, piano, and clarinet. At a young age, she would accompany her grandfather on guitar and sing as well. While living in northern British Columbia in the 1960s, she formed her own band. Because gigs were few and far between in the remote area, a person suggested she move to Vancouver, B.C., to increase her opportunities in the country music industry. A lack of outlets for her music, along with little money, stalled her career. An opportunity came up to tour the United States with an all-girl group, which she played piano and sang on some songs. That tour made her realize music was what she wanted to do with her life, and she moved across the border to Blaine, Washington by the late '60s. When she was not touring, her husband would play drums at local shows in the Pacific Northwest. When she was on the road, he would stay home and take care of their two boys and two girls. Her children were also singers and musicians. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Kedash | Kedash Carmel Cornileus | Daughter of [a304886]. Birth Date: May16,1981 Hometown: Hollywood,FLA Height: 5ft.4in. Kedash is stepping out of the recording studio and into the real world of music entertainment with her debut album Real Life Situations. The Re-Release of her new album is in stores now and her single, Love Can be Funny Sometimes will be on the store shelves in July of 2001. She is presently working on the video for the single and it should be airing on mainstream music video channels in September of 2001. Kedash started singing at the age of 7 and her father recognized at that time that she had a talent for singing. He then started taking her to his studio to watch him record and arrange his music. When Kedash was 12 she recorded her first background vocals. She said she was so afraid at the time thinking that she would mess up and waist those people's studio time. However, she reports that everything went great and that she even got paid a little money for her work. A lot of studios started calling her after that to do background vocals for various artists. She says that it was a great feeling and that at that time she felt that she could be successful as a singer. Kedash's father Carter Cornileus gained musical fame in his own right with the group The Cornileus Brothers and Sister Rose. Some of their more successful songs include Treat Her Like a Lady and Too Late to Turn Back Now which went to number 3 and number 2 respectively on the billboard charts. Kedash also started working with various family members in the music business such as her uncle Frank and his son Frank Cornileus jr. separately and on various projects. Those projects taught Kedash even more about the music business and what was involved putting an album together. During these tender years her own unique style was forming. Kedash reports that she would listen to and study various artists such as Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu and Whitney Houston. People would tell her that she sounded like various artists throughout the years. Then at about the age of sixteen her very own unique vocal style had emerged. Kedash was an artist with Big Ballers Entertainment for a short time. During this time Kedash recorded various songs on their compilations and soundtrack. The relationship with Big Ballers did not work out and she decided to go her own separate way. She has appeared on other works such as Kinsu's Consensual Sex, F.C.J.'s Southside and M?T's self titled album. Meanwhile Kedash is lining up tour dates and other local appearances around the country. So be on the lookout for this very talented artist as she makes her mark on the music world. |

Best remembered in India for penning the patriotic song "Saare jahan se achha". In neighbouring Pakistan though, Iqbal has achieved more fame for a different reason – he is regarded as the spiritual father of Pakistan, because it was on the basis of a 1930 speech that the two-nation theory was formulated. |

Fesperman (12 January 1925, Charlotte, North Carolina — 2 June 2001, Mitchellville, Maryland) was an American organist, conductor, musicologist, and distinguished organ researcher and scholar. He served as the long-running curator of the Smithsonian's [l=National Museum Of American History] (1965 to 1995) and published several influential books on the history and art of organ building. Fesperman grew up in Kannapolis, a small town in the suburbs of Charlotte, developing a passion and curiosity for organs, their history, and repertoire, particularly North European Baroque tradition, from his early childhood. John's undergraduate studies at the [l=University Of North Carolina At Chapel Hill] were interrupted during WWII, as he served in the US Navy between 1943 and 1946. In 1955, Fesperman again went to Europe on a Fulbright Scholarship to study under [a=Gustav Leonhardt] in Amsterdam. During his Dutch tenure, John met and befriended [a=D. A. (In 1982, Fesperman published Flentrop in America, a book documenting his friend's extensive work in the USA and South America between 1939 and 1977 and his long-lasting impact and legacy overseas.) After returning to the United States, John T. Fesperman briefly taught at the Alabama College in Montevallo, eventually settling in Boston, where he taught organ at the [l=New England Conservatory Of Music]. He became a music director at Boston's historic Old North Church, establishing and directing its resident choir, the [a=Old North Singers]. While residing in Massachusetts, Fesperman befriended some of the most prominent New England instrument designers of the time, such as harpsichord makers [a=Frank Hubbard] and [a=William Dowd], and organ builders C. B. Fisk and [a=Fritz Noack] — all key proponents and fervent advocates of the "reformation" movement in North America. (This approach arose in Europe in the early 1920s, strictly defining organs and harpsichords as "historic" period instruments, akin to violas da gamba or crumhorns, and rejecting modernity and technological innovation in favor of authenticity and faithful reproduction of extinct "canonical" builds from the great masters of the 17th-18th century.) Based on these discussions and mutual work, Fesperman published his critically acclaimed book, The Organ as Musical Medium (Coleman-Ross Co., 1962). In 1965, John moved to Washington, D.C., as he accepted the [l=Smithsonian Institution]'s offer and became a concert director for the Division of Musical Instruments of the National Museum of History and Technology; subsequently, Fesperman served as the Division's head. The most notable endeavor during his 30-year Smithsonian tenure was an extensive investigation and field research of two unique historic organs at the Cathedral of Mexico City in the mid-1970s, in collaboration with [a=Charles Fisk], Dirk Flentrop, and Smithsonian conservator [a=Scott Odell]. Their inquiry and publications resulted in a detailed restoration plan for Mexico City's church, which Flentrop successfully conducted. John T. Fesperman detailed their joint venture in his Organs in Mexico book (Sunbury Press, 1980). He also worked on several projects with a researcher and the [l=Organ Historical Society] founder, [a=Barbara Owen] (1933—2024), including the "Unchanging Crafts of Organbuilding" exhibition at the [l=Festival of American Folklife] in 1978. |

On why he started using a five-string electric guitar: "After hearing [a542906] in the 70's, I started using slide and tuning the guitar in a chord. Thus there were two bass strings with the same note. Unnecessary, I thought, so I removed one string." |

| Search | Add | 5 | Morghetter | Morghetter is a project born by Carlo Castellano (Charles Angelkiller) in 1995 when he was still in high school. The name Morghetter was suggested by a spiritual entity during a mediumistic writing session, in which the spirit suggested the name Morghetter to Charles Angelkiller. In 1995 the first album "Saturday Die" was recorded. The project for years remained unchanged until 2009 when Fabio Varrone (Anarchybrain) on drums and Luigi Antonini (Bloodyhusky) on second guitars joined the band. The band recorded several works including: "Second Album"; "Third Album"; "Kitchen Slaughter Ep"; "Trip - A" and "Bootleg". In 2017 the project stopped completely. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Nathalie Soles | The artistic richness and multicultural complexity of Nathalie Soles' singing impresses as much as her natural range (four and a half octaves) and her vocal ease (sings in five languages). Born in France to an Italian mother and a Togolese father, she spent most of her childhood in Morocco. It is in this colorful country, repository of a subtle oriental refinement, bathed in exhilarating scents, that she forges her first musical weapons. Jazz will quickly become her preference, offering her vocal palette a sufficiently vast field of exploration. | |

Graduated as maths teacher with a master in cinematography, his guiding idea is to propose an alternative to what is pre-established. Thus he restructures usual formats and pushes conventions to surprise and create. His modern vision of early music leads him to look for new ways to transmit it with a starting point of dramatically writing out the visual.
