Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | AUMwizards | [a=AUMwizards] is a Psy-Trance collaboration project between [a=AUManoid] & [a=WizardSmoke] ([a=Yohann Oetheimer] & [a=Jonathan Avison]). The journey started back in 2013, when [a=AUManoid] and [a=WizardSmoke] first worked together on a few audio experiments in Reason 5. Time has passed until spring 2017 when they joined forces in order to achieve a more serious collaboration. A new symbiosis was born, concocted by the [a=AUMwizards]. The combination of both magical ingredients results in a groundbreaking genre of punchy Psychedelic Trance tuned to 432 Hertz, bewitching and mesmerizing the dancefloor.

Search | Add | 2 | DJ Kill Em All | Arnaud Debar | Kill Em All is first bitten by electronic music in 1996 thanks to The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers. Then follows a fever which makes him go towards the dark side represented by Amon Tobin, Aphex Twin ou Tricky : the atmospherical side of terror. First decks in 1998, he plays techno. In 2001, his love of huge rhythms makes him go towards productions of people like Manu le Malin or Laurent Hô. The need of causing industrial violence takes over and Kill Em All becomes possessed by English hardcore. Always in search of new methods for punishing people, he has in 2005 a revelation thanks to dutch sound : power and precision to serve an efficient method of destruction. One can understand that he joins one of the most menacing industrial hardcore crews : Booby Trap. Thanks to his influences, Kill Em All is a black diamond shaped by techno, industrial and hardcore, whose faces are all dangerous. Search | Add | 2 | Invertsys | Alexey Rodin | Alexey Rodin (August 16, 1986, Russia) is a composer specializing on the experimental genres Ambient, Downtempo, IDM, Noise and founder of the musical projects Adaptcore, Human Terminal, Sinexoid, Inverted Systems. Born and grew up in Ramenskoye district, Moscow region. Since created of Invertsys released more than 15 albums available free for download. From an early age, interested about electronics and radio engineering. The beginning was taking by old tape recorders, on which recorded various kinds of street and industrial noises, conversations, radio and television, after the sounds mixed on one cassette like form of a noise product. Influence also was under by countless sound and game equipment, what analyzed and recorded on tape after reassembled. The use of computers and the learning of programs have acquired a more musical connotation in creativity. With the internet access in 2006, Alexey made a decision to create of the Adaptcore project. After the first release of the Dark Ambient album, titled «Sunset After Wind» on Darkwinter net-label, album instantly received positive reviews. Followed by the album «Idle Process» on the Benekkea label in the Noise style, the content of which received by the audience quite positively, release under name «Child's Play» was last. During the existence of the Adaptcore project, Alexey experimented in many styles and, at last, Ambient, Downtempo and Noise were chosen for further work. Interest in noise, as art, expressed in the Human Terminal project in 2008, in which most of the releases were rated well. Several albums supported by «Rec72», «Amduscias Records» labels with a part sounded on the air of «Vombat Radio». Finally, the disclosure of opportunities in the IDM, Downtempo carried out by the Sinexoid project, whose albums released completely in 2010-2012. Thanks to many reviews from the listeners of Rutracker.org, project has gained little popularity. After the release of «Mute», it decided to take a break. In 2017, Alexey returned to creative work after 5 years ago with the album «Discrete Way» of the next project Inverted Systems (Invertsys). «Hopes for Invertsys are great and its creation has been considered for a long time, this project is experience that has been gained since my works began to be published. Especially, five years of silence was enough to form its own style, in which the project will work.», – Alexey Rodin, 2017. |

Cal began his music career as one half of the electro outfit [a919780] with classmate and friend Simon McIntosh. Praised for their energetic and engaging live performances at festivals, supporting national touring acts and headlining clubs around Australia. After releasing their Debut EP ‘Electronic Sunset’, [a919780] received radio rotation for their single ‘Easy’, and went on to release their debut album 'A Personal Universe' after a short stint in London. After deciding to take a break from [a919780] to pursue independent music interests, Cal began working with Hobart singer-songwriter [a3529578]. Shortly after, [a3529578] won Triple J Unearthed High 2012 with her song “[r=30849990]” - a song which Cal produced in his bedroom (and follow up Asta single “[r=30849735]”). “[r=30849990]” placed at number 50 in Triple J’s 2012 Hottest 100 Countdown. Whilst writing, recording, and touring with [a3529578], Cal’s love for production led him to create KOWL, his first independent musical endeavour. KOWL combines the creativity of hardware and sound found in [a919780], as well as the pop sensibilities of [a3529578], to become a fresh new approach to songwriting and production.

Search | Add | 2 | Ethan Griggs | Ethan Samuel Griggs | As the sun illuminates through the vibe-stained alleyways of Denver, Colorado, Ethan Griggs looks out at the city from his quarters and gazes upon the colors of the sunset in fall. Pink and blue collide and conceive a beautiful glow of light that shines on the buildings, creating more color in the sky, which reflect off his mind and create a gigantic Droste effect of aesthetic. It feels like he's living in a rainbow. This is perhaps a good way to describe his music at this point... A multi-instrumentalist of many years, one could say that Griggs's main vehicle of expression, or the one he's most in control of, is his voice; Griggs has been singing since the age of 3. At his Denver Alma matter Denver School of the Arts, he studied in the Theatre major, earning many leading roles in the department's musical theatrical productions. Now 22, Ethan further pursued a career in music throughout his teen years. At the age of 15 he formed his first band, Youth In Conflict, and frequently played around the Denver area for a total of approximately 30 shows in the band's year-long life span (on top of homework, of course.) The group gained acclaim in the Denver music scene by entering in annual Battle of the Bands competitions and playing venues such as the Ogden, Oriental, and Marquis theaters. In one of the annual battles judged by Grammy Award-winner Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, he called Griggs's sense of song structure, melody, and lyrics "instinctive." He gave the group second place in the competition. Ethan later was involved with creating the Denver folk-collective ClusterFolk. The group also gained moderate notoriety around the Denver scene, having the opportunities of playing at the prestigious Bluebird and Gothic Theaters. In the same BOB competition, the year after Youth In Conflict won, Isaac Slade of the Grammy Award-nominated band The Fray gave the group third place, stating that band "sound drunk, but in the best way possible." Using prize money from the event, the collective recorded their debut EP Brighter & Brighter at Maxwell Studios in Highlands Ranch, with Griggs contributing two of the four songs and arranging all of them. The EP was released independently in February of 2012. Now that he's getting closer to closing the door on his college career at University of Colorado Denver, Ethan is excited to further bud out as a writer and artist in the Denver music scene. In April of 2015, he was a finalist in the CU Denver Songwriting contest, judged by the one and only Todd Rundgren, whom Ethan got to open for when he played a concert at the school the next night. The song in question, "Mind Gardening Girl", was released on Griggs's first EP, Transient, which is available on all major streaming services. |

Search | Add | 2 | The Cotton Eye Joe Show | [a=Annika Ljungberg], the original female singer of [a=Rednex], returned to the group in 2004, taking charge of the group. In 2009 she and all the new members she recruited were fired by the founders and were not allowed to use the name Rednex anymore. Rednex continued with different members, and Annika renamed her group into 'The Cotton Eye Joe Show'. Annika and the Rednex founders had several court fights over the name, which eventually lead to the shortened name 'CEJ'. Initially the group consisted of Annika, her husband [a=Jens Sylsjö] and [a=Anders Lundström], but after the namechange from 'Rednex' to 'The Cotton Eye Joe Show' Anders left and was replaced by [a=Fredrik Järnberg]. Current members: Annika "Mary Joe" Ljungberg Jens "Cotton Eye Joe" Sylsjö Fredrik "Pinnball" Järnberg
