Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Carmen Alessandrello | Carmen has in her voice the fire of her south, she was born in Comiso (Ragusa) in 1994. Uneasy and multi-faceted, always looking for an experience, in life as in music she seeks an authentic and profound spirituality, beyond religions and labels. True natural talent, she began singing very young, taking as a model the singing power of Whitney Houston and the veracity of Domenico Modugno; she prefers soul, blues and contemporary jazz. She also loves the Italian 60s and melodic rock but is particularly attracted by the "black music" which takes as an example for freedom and expressive instinct. In 2016 she took part in the selections of "The Voice", collaborated with the dance company Nu'Art, won Area Sanremo by participating in the program "Will Sanremo" live on Rai1 and began an important collaboration with Carlo Marrale, author and founder of Matia Bazaar. Her first album entitled "At the center of a cloud" was released in summer 2017 | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Lian Hearn | Gillian Rubinstein | Gillian Rubinstein (born 29 August 1942) is an English-born children's author and playwright. Born in Potten End, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England, Rubinstein split her childhood between England and Nigeria, moving to Australia in 1973. As well as eight plays, numerous short stories and articles, she has written over 30 books. Her award-winning and hugely popular 1986 debut Space Demons introduced the themes of growing up and fantasy worlds which emerge often in her other writings. Books such as At Ardilla, Foxspell and Galax-Arena all received critical acclaim and multiple awards. In 2001, Rubinstein published Across the Nightingale Floor, the first of the best-selling five book Tales of the Otori series under the pseudonym Lian Hearn. The series is set in a fictional island nation resembling feudal Japan and is her first work to reach an adult audience. The name 'Lian', comes from a childhood nickname and 'Hearn' apparently refers to herons which are a prominent theme in the series. It has also been suggested that the surname is most likely borrowed from Lafcadio Hearn; one of the first Western writers to tackle Japanese mythology. Gillian Rubinstein currently resides in Goolwa, South Australia. |

Pusher of the DIY . in 2014 founded Sci Fi Alliance, Underground Label, and cooperating with other realities like Aut_Label, they release their productions on vinyl issues for DJs and Lovers. forever Underground!... Freedom , this is our path Self-production, Self-management and a lack of any copyright on published music are her manifestation. Expression of ourself, creativity, art; these don't have pre-established moments, they do not manifest themselves in written dates on calendars and for this reason we do not produce music for profit, we are proud to produce to share creativity and artistic expression; it has no purpose, it is an end in itself. all profits are reinvested in the release of new ones vinyl publications. The tracks are composed in single live sessions to transmit the joy of the creative experimentation . We also think that through self-production, DIY, we can disrupt or at least create a system parallel to the mainstream, which instead destroys the music by subjecting it to the dynamics of the market. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Contact T.B.D. | Jan Kees Helms | Jan Kees Helms is a sound and visual artist based in The Netherlands. In the eighties he made music with others like Viviane Marc from France, Peter Versteeg and Andrea Sturkenboom. He made music and recorded his experimental musical journeys and released them at Lor Teeps. The tapelabel Lor Teeps cooperated with lot of other musicians in The Netherlands, but also worldwide. Lor Teeps released the first tape in 1983 with punkmusic of L'Oraagje. In 1987 Lor Teeps was more into the experimental tape-scene and released a lot of tapes. After many years of silence and making short movies with music of other musicians he started in 2009 to make visual sounds. Spring 2009 he starts with a collaboration with Billy Gomberg from New York and created the CD and short movie ANYpark with field recordings of parksounds. Contact T.B.D. released about 20 years ago many tapes at several tapelabels. For now Jan Kees Helms explores in this musical project the dark side of sound with guitardrones, synthesizers, piano and fieldrecordings. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Black Burst Sound Generator | Brigitta Bödenauer and Susanna Gartmayer started their collaboration – Black Burst Sound Generator – in 2012. In their performances, they work with the exact interplay of microphoned contra alto clarinet and electronic sounds. Over the last years, they have developed an unique program that plays musically with elements of Electro, IDM, Field Recordings, Industrial, Drone, Dark Ambient, and the multiphonic possibilities of the contra-alto clarinet. Reduced beats, abstract sounds and slowly developing structures are combined into a precise dramaturgy. With inquiring minds, precision and persistence, the two musicians Brigitta Bödenauer and Susanna Gartmayer engage in their search for ever new sounds and musical approaches. While Bödenauer works as an experimental film maker and installation artist, Gartmayer studied painting and printmaking, two highly visual approaches to music. Their duo project is characterized by a shared interest in polyrhythmic structures and their pleasure in playing with their stage appearance. In every performance, Gartmayer and Bödenauer take on a new role, one which also demands a new mode of playing. | |
