Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025

Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Mattuais Matias Lovero Matias Lovero aka Mattuais is a Recording Artist and Sound Creative born in Argentina but raised between Argentina, Brazil and Spain, he grew up in a multicultural environment and a home filled with Rock, Gospel and Latin music, a reflex of his parents tastes. From an early age he got caught by the Sound and Music Industry, touring around some European and South American cities with unedited songs and organising several concerts and festivals in many cities around Spain, experiences that took him deep into audio and events production. All this influences developed a formed sense of Art and Business, and made him decide to start his own -this time professional- music career, releasing the single "PREACH!" in June ’13 as an prelude of his debut EP "The Jazzt Walk Project" released in September ’15. Mattuais is currently working on his first full length album. A future game changer.

Search Add 2 Carlos Solé Carlos Solé (October 9, 1916 – May 9, 1975) was an Uruguayan sports journalist. Biography He was born on October 9, 1916, in Montevideo. On October 12, 1935, three days after his 18th birthday he debuted as a sportscaster on CX6 Radio SODRE, broadcasting the soccer game between Bella Vista and River Plate of Uruguay. This was not his radio debut as he had already worked on several stations as a weatherman. Solé earned his greatest interest from the public when he broadcast from Rio de Janeiro, the final match of the 1950 World Cup between Brazil and Uruguay. Uruguay beat Brazil 2-1 and thanks to this historic broadcast the Uruguayan population heard of this great accomplishment in soccer history. In the 1950s he was the most listened to sportscaster in Uruguay, according to the survey conducted by the agency Impetu. More than 70% of the Uruguayan people listened to his broadcasts. His spectacular broadcast of the 1954 World Cup held in Switzerland, and specially the match between Uruguay vs. Hungary was the highlight of his career. In 1966 he was invited to participate on a televisión show called Glorias Deportivas (Sports Glory). Due to his harsh and critical opinion of soccer coaches, calling them the “pimps” of soccer, he was sentenced without prison. From 1946 until his death on May 9, 1975, he worked for Radio Sarandí.

Search Add 2 Leragér Tom Collins An immortal classic from the Copenhagen nightlife, Leragér has played anything everywhere. He has been showcasing his exceptional mixing skills in the Danish capital for over 15 years. Though originally a breakbeat DJ, he now plays deep and dirty house music in combination with a love for edits of 70’s funk & disco music. He moves effortless between most genres as long as they encompass the groove, the energy and the melody that is his trademark. His favourite discipline is the long warm up set slowly translating the vibe of the particular club into a room full of anticipation. Though having used music production tools throughout his years as a dj mostly for creating his own edits for dj sets, it was only in 2011 he finally started to create his own original music. This has since seen the light of day on the Danish label Two House Recordings and with remixes for Deso Records. And in 2015 he will debut on the german Audiolove label. Leragér has held residencies at several influential Copenhagen clubs including Culture Box, Copenhagens temple for forward-pushing electronic music. In 2004 he won the Heineken Thirst contest in Denmark, naming him the best club dj that year. Contact: mads@syzygy.dk

Search Add 2 My Escapade My Escapade dates back to early 2007, where brothers Jason and Simon James began rehearsing in an abandoned school, in Burnie Tasmania, with comrades Chris van Tholen and Alan Forrest. The band soon started performing all around their home state, establishing their local fan base whilst developing their sound, live presence and recording their first demos. In 2010 the band left their island-state, basing themselves in Queensland, to strengthen ties with management and support the release of their debut EP Soul’s Reflection. This move also allowed for greater access to a larger variety of live music venues and a competitive independent music scene. Soul’s Reflection was globally released through digital distribution agent Musicadium, and is available on iTunes, Nokia Music and Amazon, as well as many other online music stores. Search Add 2 Emilio Guerrero Tejano singer and musician born in Corpus Christi, Texas in April of 1948. Emilio's musical career started while he was attending Wynn Seal Jr. High in Corpus Christi. Emilio and a group of his friends put together a band and started playing around town at private parties, record hops, and what kid’s use to call jives. fter graduating from Roy Miller High School in 1967, Emilio joined the U.S. Army and was shipped to Ft. Polk, LA for basic training. While stationed at Ft. Polk, Emilio and four other soldiers from New Jersey and New York formed a vocal group that began singing at the NCO club on base. In June 1970, Emilio returned home after being Honorably discharged from the Army and got his musical career started again. Instead of singing though, he started playing keyboards for several local bands. He played with the Johnny Canales Band, Los Lemans, and finally with T.J. & Company. Emilio got started back singing by accident. One night the singer for the band did not show up and Emilio was asked if he could fill in. Emilio agreed. From then on he became one of the band’s singers. In 1977 Zeke Saucedo (guitar), and Sam Deleon (keyboards), convinced Emilio to start his own band. In 1977, with the help of his brother Leonard Guerrero to run sound, Zeke and Sam, Charro Band was born.

Search Add 2 Julie Lavender Originally from Chicago, Illinois, as a child, Julie studied piano and classical guitar. Later, she played steel guitar but developed her musical skills primarily as a singer. Her style artfully blends pop with touches of classical music structures and jazzy suggestions. As a songwriter, she draws upon her life experiences, many of which reflect her home environment as a child and her adult life as wife and mother. Her repertoire is an intriguing blend of her own compositions, pop, jazz and classical music. After spending some years resident in Southern California, where she played concerts in Los Angeles and the San Diego area, in the early 2000s, Lavender relocated to the New England states.

Search Add 2 Sugar Organ Hip-Hop group from Denver, CO, this is a project created in the free time of Tittle T the guitarist and vocalist for a Denver based metal band called [a=Engine Ear], and [a=Timmy Flips] also a guitarist and vocalist but hes in a punk band called [a=Red Stinger]. They started with a lot of momentum which lasted for a while they were even recording a second album. But a series of previous commitments and events in their personal lives prevented their continuous engagement with the community, and each other for a while, and i haven't heard any talk of them picking it back up any time soon either, though Matt did contribute lead vocals to a track on [a=Red Stinger]'s latest album.

Search Add 2 Christa Myers Christa was born and raised in Southern California; and, began composing music, winning awards and recognition for her artistry at the age of seven. She has developed a unique style as a singer, sculptor, writer, musician, and visionary artist. In her music Christa has blended visionary talents with classical training; and, now lends her keyboard expertise to what she feels is the unlimited potential of New Age electronic synthesized music. The re-emergence of the Feminine power in the world finds expression through the angelic sounds evidenced in these selections. The hauntingly beautiful melodic themes are intended as a meditative offering, providing the listener a soulful inner journey.
