Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | Miomir Grujić Fleka | Miomir Grujić – Fleka was a phenomenon in the urban culture of the 1980s and 1990s in Serbia, pushing many of the perceived boundaries of artistic creation. He launched a number of initiatives that had a strong influence on the development of urban culture. Among these were Klub Akademija (Club Academia), Radio Šišmiš (Bat Radio), and the Urbazona project. In the magazines and newspapers he edited or contributed to, he presented provocative and committed articles and graphic content. He worked as a visual artist from the mid to late 1980s, bringing to the existing art scene a different sensibility and attitude to artistic creation. At the end of the 1980s, because of his visual impairment, a new phase of performance and social engagement began, primarily through the unique audio format Radio Šišmiš (Bat Radio) and the Urbazone movement. He often referred to himself as “Public Clandestine” and explained this seemingly meaningless expression thus: “It indicates all the absurdity and inverted meaning which has been the hallmark of our reality. Any attempt to rebel with a different opinion causes indescribable suspicion in the environment.” “The artist is a public clandestine. The artist as a process, radiation that endures regardless of whether it is noted or ignored. Nonsense and absurdity, irony and cynicism are the features of the current reality, and at the same time the best means of unmasking and fighting against that kind of reality.”

Search | Add | 6 | Leg-No | Christian Legno | Berlin-based Leg-No is quickly becoming one of the most exciting names in House music. “ ... Unique, bouncy, fresh, colourful and exuberant on the dancefloor” (Rote Raupe) The Italian-born DJ, producer and label-owner has a long history of passionate music production, releasing his first visionary EP at the tender age of 19, remixing artists like Beastie Boys, Mos Def and Clipse. While living in London and soaking up its unique brand of Hip-Hop, an insatiable evolutionary drive took Leg-No from mastering Techno and Rave to delving into the groove and bounce of new House. “ ...In his productions you can recognize a really cool fresh and bouncy housey touch. He moved first to London and then Berlin to join his friends Mowgli, Solo and Rivastarr. If I had to compare his music to one of them, I will not hesitate to say Rivastarr.” (High Maintenance) |

Search | Add | 6 | Lyn La Salle | Lyndon J. LaSalle | 'Takin’ Life Easy b/w Randee Ramjet’ was originally recorded at Dove Studios in Minneapolis Minnesota. The A&R guy who had arranged the horns had a nervous breakdown and stole the master tape and we couldn’t find him or the tape for nine months. When we finally found the guy and the tape we had it pressed under our own label, it was called Hy Nibble and had a picture of a giraffe on it. Some disc jockey friends of mine really liked the songs and sent a copy to A&M records in Hollywood. I was really surprised to get a call from Larry Alpert, Herbs brother, and he asked me if I wanted to have the songs on A&M. We actually made money on the Hy Nibble label and paid back our recording costs. A&M never paid me any royalties although the record was really big in the mid-west and played on the radio from New York to San Diego. There are some other weird things that happened in those days too – after all it was the 60s. Later joined [a=Daybreak (51)]. |

Search | Add | 6 | Neon Voyagers | In 2021, NEON VOYAGERS were born in Patras Greece . They consist of Alexandros Tzamalis and Tryfonas Tryfonopoulos and aim to bring 80's sounds full of analog synthesizers and Neon lights to today. The creative duo grew up in the age of Neon light. They were experientially nourished by music from John Carpender's films. Grew up with tv shows like the Voyagers, Knight Rider, Doctor Who, Tales from the crypt. When games were 8bit and movies in VHS.The sounds of NEON VOYAGERS are captured by analog synthesizers and drum machines. This neon voyagers 2023 self-titled debut album is the first full length completed work. It is undeniably a genuine example of synthwave. The cinematic approach as the 10 tracks unfolds in a selected order is a composed transition from dark post apocalyptic to neo-romantic feelings of a first date at a drive inn.As they characteristically note, "we are space-time travelers in a musical Neon universe. We live in the present, the future, the past at all times. Bean me up Scotty. We are the Neon Voyagers."

Search | Add | 6 | Té Qui Toé? | Té Qui Toé? (meaning "Who The Hell Are You?" in French slang) is an obscure French-Canadian Pop Punk band from Québec, singing both in English & in French. Trivia facts: Each album main title matches its track duration. And no track title is ever repeated in song lyrics. The Band "refuses" fame by declining contract signing, by not making any promotion and by keeping member names unknown. Don't look for albums on any retail store displays... Selling is through word of mouth only.

Search | Add | 6 | Mello K | Kevin Davis | Rapper from The Bronx, NY area who recorded his first and only album in Los Angeles, CA on [l102543]. Mello K boasted an intriguing marketing strategy: ‘My rhymes are basically about females because they take to the music and they encourage guys to buy it’. Of West Indian descent, Mello K was brought up a native of New York, and first emerged as a serious artist in 1990. It was then that he was given the opportunity to work with Keith Sweat and Charlie Wilson from the Gap Band, subsequently forming his own posse, 40 Deep, hooking up with producer Monti Blues and reggae DJ Shawnie Ranks. Through Ranks Mello K debuted on his L.A. Boy Records. He also guested on the single ‘Do Me’, a slow-burning narrative reminiscent of lovers rock. It was this sort of material that gave Mello K his name, but his debut album proved him equally capable of gruff, hard-nosed raps. |

Search | Add | 6 | Jahfa Culture | Jahfa Culture was born in Sheffield, UK and currently resides in the Tampa Bay Region of Florida, USA. His earliest musical influence began at the age of 14 as a drummer with reggae band “Inner Strength” and his earliest singing inspiration started with Dennis Brown. He started performing across the Yorkshire and Midlands territories at the age of 15. In his late teens after arriving on the scene in London and learning about music and the reggae industry he received great vocal advice from Neil Fraser AKA Mad Professor, producer at Ariwa Records (London) and Jah Shaka (London) which he still uses today. In 1986 Jahfa Culture teamed up with Jah Tubby’s (London) to produce the soundman anthem and now highly sought-after “Listen to We”. Since then Jahfa Culture has worked with Rootsman Carl from the Roots Connection (London) producing “Commando Commando” & “Baby I Love You” (1987), Mike Maverick with Action Records (Nottingham) producing the singles “When I See You Cry” & “Party Time”, produced the collaboration album “Truth, Justice & the Raggamuffin Way”, worked with Speng Gorgon in Sheffield producing “Rain From the Skies” and self-produced “I’m Gonna Make Sure” on Commando Records (Sheffield), backed by The Steel City’s Mighty Mosiah Warrior band. Jahfa Culture has also performed with various soundsystems such as Young Rebel (London) and Kumasi Warrior (Sheffield). In 2003 he founded “Freestyle Vocals” based out of Sheffield, UK and has since expanded the business into the Tampa Bay Region, USA. He has taught well over 2,000 singers from various parts of the UK and beyond, covering a wide array of diverse musical styles and received his Certification in Vocal Studies at Sheffield University. Moving forward into 2012 and Jahfa Culture is still going strong; Look out for the release of “Revelation Time” in September 2012, produced by Crucial Steve at Righteous Works (London) and written by Jahfa Culture, voiced at Pedro EA Production in St. Petersburg, FL and lyrically inspired by the times in which we are living in. Search | Add | 6 | Anders Monrad | Danish composer of modern classical music Anders Monrad (b. 1981) began playing the piano at the age of 6, and started composing as a teenager. Monrad received his undergraduate degree from Copenhagen University and Business School. Since 2006 he has studied composition at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen under Bent Sørensen, Hans Abrahamsen, Niels Rosing-Schow and Hans Peter Stubbe Teglbjærg. As a composer Monrad gets his inspiration from different musical genres and conventions, and he is an avid collector of obscure old LP`s - with tastes ranging from early electronic music, and psychedelic rock to various kitsch genres. He is very inspired by the American composer John Zorn, whose poly-stylistic approach and rejection of the dichotomy between “High Brow” and “Low Brow” culture stands, Monrad sees as one of the most important developments in late 20th century musical aesthetics. In addition to composition, Monrad is active as a painter, music critic and writer.

Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Tony’s exposure to classic blues, jazz, and rock and roll fueled his passion for music, and for the past two decades, he’s been driving audiences with his technique and vision. Through his music, he seeks to reveal beauty and strength where others see decay and despair, and his desire resonates in his approach, simultaneously aggressive and dark, playful and funky. As the Techno Buyer at Chicago’s renowned WAXaddict Records from 2003 to 2007, Tony was able to push the boundaries of underground dance culture by hand-selecting a wide range of unique tracks to feed the scene. During his nine-year stay in the Windy City, Tony was an integral part of several promotional companies and performed at many events ranging from raves and warehouse parties to major clubs alongside internationally respected producers like Adam Beyer, Joel Mull, Alexi Delano, Pascal FEOS, Samuel L Session, Joris Voorn, The Advent, Bryan Zentz, Adam Marshall, Mike Dearborn, Cari Lekebusch, Traxx, Cajmere, Gene Hunt, Lester Fitzpatrick, Mark Verbos, Terry Mullan, and Frankie Bones. Tony has traveled throughout the United States performing in key cities like Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles, and turning the tables at venues during Miami’s Winter Music Conference and Detroit’s Movement Festival. Tony’s inimitable mixing style is highly adaptable to the ambiance of the events he plays. His history with techniques, such as using up to three turntables, and his continuing progression into digital controls and modulation combined with the rich resource of his track knowledge enables Tony to control his audience with every measure played. Tony released several tracks and remixes on labels such as Kompute Musik and Smooth Agent Records, but it wasn’t until he signed with Jay Denham’s Black Nation Records in 2010 that he had the opportunity to release his first album, Know Who You Are, featuring the international dancefloor DJ picks “Come in Earth” and “Selections.” Since 2010, Tony has released several singles, including the popular “No Sleep Required,” featured on Dave Clarke’s White Noise Radio show, and remixes, including the recent “Mufflerman” on Packed Music (Madrid). His studio mix series is available for streaming on Soundcloud, and he has been a featured artist for numerous radio broadcasts, showcasing most recently for Element 44, SUBterror Radio, CoCo.fm, and Blank Code. Currently residing in Miami with his wife and daughter, Tony continues to push his sound through its boundaries, and in addition to his anticipated 2016 releases, including his second artist album, he is seeking a degree in Audio Engineering. |
