Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Hell Is Harmony | Hell is Harmony came to life in 2008. After writing enough material the band started gigging around Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth), always receiving good reviews and gaining a group of faithful followers. In the same year the band recorded a demo called “EAT YOUR VICTIMS” which consisted of four songs (Train, Psycho, Eat your victims, Mechanical puzzle box). The following year the next demo was recorded. It was entitled “I HAVE FIRE IN ME” and another four songs were featured (Hell is harmony, Fairytale, Better than Better, and Toxic kiss). Year 2010 started pretty well – Hell is Harmony supported Lower than Atlantis, after which gig the guys from LTA said that HiH was the best supporting band they had during that tour. 2011 With the new line-up and new energy, the band quickly gained momentum and started gigging, managing to gather quite a crowd at their shows. 2011 was also the year which saw a full album recorded. The album was entitled “Opium” A promo video was recorded for the title song as well and can be watched online. In 2012 the band had a chance to tour Scotland with a legend of Polish dark-goth-rock scene – Closterkeller. A few months later the band went to Poland and played a set at a festival supporting, among others, Decapitated. In October the band was awarded the title of ‘Tattoo Jam 2012 Band of the Year’ by winning Battle of The Bands at Tattoo Jam 2012 in Doncaster.

Search | Add | 2 | ScarLenn | Lenny Benaïcha | ScarLenn was born in 1986 in a corner of the province of Antwerp. At a young age he moved into the metropolis, which until today he calls home. As a twelve year old boy he was tempted for the first time by the rap rhythms but it took another four years before he truly realized Hip-Hop was about to become more than just his favourite music genre. In 2002 he found his way to the microphone, choosing an artist name for himself consisting of the English word for: 'scar' and his first name. The scar is situated on his right eye and defined a big part of the young man's life. The foster child, who found his real home with his foster parents, received a part Algerian blood and surname from his biological mother, from which he distances himself completely. Because of the name, the looks and everything else scarlenn stands for he was forced to get to know the less pretty sides of our society at a young age. The critical insight he developed as a result of that in combination with a unique vocal usage are typical for his style. |

Search | Add | 2 | Damie Leigh | An amazing artist with more than one album cover to her credit. Damie was a provocateur; a friend of all the marginalized and the down-trodden; and a saint amongst the artist population. She made endless amounts of art and died tragically on the way to see her loved one's in 2022. She will be missed by all she made contact with. She was the artist for the second cover by Tail From the Crypt and other albums that will be linked as they are gradually uncovered. R.I.P. to this brilliant soul. May she always burn brightly.

Search | Add | 2 | Stefan Themerson | Polish experimental filmmaker, children's writer, poet, publisher, composer and philosopher (25 January 1910, Płock, Russian Empire — 6 September 1988, London, UK). Stefan Themerson invented semantic poetry and wrote in English, Dutch and Polish languages. He worked in a lifelong artistic partnership with [a=Franciszka Themerson] (1907—1988); their "husband & wife" duo is widely regarded among the pioneers of avant-garde cinema in Poland and Europe's most active proponents of surrealism at the time. Stefan Themerson was born in the Polish-speaking part of the Russian Empire. During World War I, his father served as a medical officer in Tsar's army, and Themersons constantly relocated, living in Riga, Saint Petersburg and Velikiye Luki. In 1918, the family returned to their hometown Płock, which became part of independent Poland. Stefan attended the Władysław Jagiełło Gymnasium, where he began photographing and built his first radio receiver. In 1928, Themerson enrolled at Warsaw University to study physics; after one year, he transferred to Warsaw Polytechnic and switched to architecture. Stefan never excelled academically, dedicating most of his time to photography, art and writing. In 1929, he met an art student, Franciszka Weinles, and they married two years later. Between 1931 and 35, Themersons lived and worked in Warsaw. Stefan wrote for various periodicals and published ten critically-acclaimed children's books illustrated by Franciszka. He also began experimenting with "photograms" (a type of photography popularized by [a=Man Ray], where images are produced without the camera by directly exposing objects on light-sensitive paper). In Warsaw, Stefan Themerson directed five short films, co-produced and co-written with Franciszka, including Apteka (1930), Europa (1931–32) based on [a=Anatol Stern]'s poem, Drobiazg Melodyjny (33), or "Musical Moment," and Zwarcie (35), "Short Circuit." They are widely regarded among the earliest examples of Polish avant-garde cinema (alongside works of [a=J.M. Brzeski] and a few other filmmakers). In 1935, Themersons established an artist-run cooperative, Spółdzielnia Autorów Filmowych, which united several local filmmakers. Most of Themerson's early films were lost in Paris during WWII; however, he later published Europa script illustrated by surviving stills and photos. In 1936 and 37, Stefan and Francizska traveled to Paris and London, where they befriended [a=László Moholy-Nagy] and other experimental artists and assembled a program of French and English avant-garde films to screen in Warsaw. In 1939, as World War II began, they both enlisted: Stefan fought with joint troops in Western France, while Franciszka served as a cartographer for the Polish Army, first in Paris and later in London, where they reunited closer to the war's end. In 1944, Themersons moved to Maida Vale in West London, where they permanently resided. In subsequent years, Stefan was associated with [a=Kurt Schwitters], whom he met at PEN International's 300th-anniversary celebration of Milton's Areopagitica and experimental poet and publisher [a=Bob Cobbing] who lived nearby in Maida Vale, among others.

Search | Add | 2 | DJ Panzerfaust | National-socialistic hardcore techno producer from The Netherlands. DJ Panzerfaust started playing music at small illegal raves in the Netherlands. After the assassination of the rightwing politician Pim Fortuyn by a leftwing extremist, and the brutal murder on Theo van Gogh by a Muslim fundamentalist in 2005, he started to produce political music. The mainstream Hardcore scene in the Netherlands, the biggest youth culture under Dutch white teens, a music scene which from the beginning always has been associated with patriotism and some degree of Nationalism, took a stand against their own rank en files. This as a reaction to the ongoing criminalisation by the mass media of White Hardcore Nationalists in the Netherlands. Miscellaneous commercial Hardcore DJ’s and producers took part in the concept United Hardcore (against Racism and Fascism), which tried to stop the media connecting the Hardcore scene with White Nationalism. They tried to ban White Nationalists from raves by supporting leftwing anti fascist groups and organisations. They did this because of the bad image of the gabber scene, which could cause their profits to drop. This concept made Hardcore political, and as a answer to this DJ Panzerfaust started producing underground Hardcore House for the Hardcore Nationalist. Free music for those with a White Nationalist ideology, who are not suppressed by the mass media and the mainstream. DJPanzerfaust is also known as Frontlinie, DJ Herrieschopper, and is part of the twosome Raggen en Beuken.

Search | Add | 2 | 키스 | KISS (Korea International Super Star, stylized as KISS) was a South Korean female pop trio. Their debut single is "Because I'm a Girl". The music video stars actress Goo Hye-Joo, and actor Shin Hyun-joon, which increased initial public interest in the song. The song remained a karaoke staple in Korea for many years. This helped to launch the career of Kiss, with an album quickly following. However, the group quickly disbanded afterwards, due to internal conflict that could not be resolved. After the group's break-up, Umji became an actress and married, Jini returned to the States and continued her singing career. "Because I'm a Girl" has been covered by numerous artists, including South Korean female duo 2NB. The group reunited to perform their main hit "Because I'm a Girl" on June 21, 2016 through variety show Two Yoo Project Sugar Man (Episode 36). It was revealed on the show the reason for the group's breakup was surfacing of news that one of the members was dating,[6][8] a matter that Korean label companies usually controls tightly on their talents.

Search | Add | 2 | Bamboogie Injections | Having evolved from beach culture of 60-s the Surf Music has plenty of incarnations all over the world today. Surf instrumental band "Bamboogie Injections" appeals to classic part of the style creating original stuff on the intersection of Surf and Instrumental Rock where rough Dick Dale style doublepicking touched the smooth psychedelic surf-ballads. Nowadays "Bamboogie Injections" are ready for action along with their debut album "Wild Dandelion Stomping" (2016). Here they are: Denk - as a guitar charmer, Kate - as a psyko-bass femme (in studio & on stage) as well as keyboardessa (in studio) and Mr. Deadly Stab - as a drum guy. On June 2017 Bamboogie Injections were participants of Surfer Joe Summer Festival, 12th Edition (Livorno, Italy).
