Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Order 69 | With Order 69 from Münster, Germany, the people who have given up hope, will finally find their long awaited relief. The rhythm section is made up of the Özdemir brothers, harmonizing with the lead singer Ramin, like nothing you’ve ever heard before, the sound of fire and fuel. Their bond forms one unified soul, cultivating the music. Their passion for the Blues meets a raw, youthful energy and gives the band an unclassifieable sound.

Search | Add | 2 | Asperger Syndrome | Italian band formed on 15th March 2012 by Mental Delay (aka Michael Wolf'scall) and his wife, Double Phase. Both members perform vocals, but other than this, it's currently unclear which person handles which instruments. Musically, they play depressive black metal, but mix in a lot of experimental elements. The band call this hybrid style "Harrowing Oppressive Multiform Suicidal Black Metal". They're a Christian band, and tackle this subject matter in the context of depression and mental illness. The current status of the band is unknown as their webpages have been inactive since 2014.

Search | Add | 2 | Стена Срача | Stena Sracha was formed back in Spring / Summer of 1993 by Bangk and Lembrik, it was later joined by Boom on drums (also "Epydemia A", "Anus", and currently "Modelo Para Armar") and Docent on bass (also "Anus"). Here is the story of the band as told by Bangk: "I was invited to "Epidemia A" Mishka-Hooishka's (Mikey the Prick) birthday party. The venue was chosen accordingly, it was a genuine SVALKA (dump) near Holon city. That was THE party (Boom gave Mishka a dead cat, 1mm thick, as a present, which he found on the near by highway). I was so pissed off during the party that I actually asked Alex Mooh (also "Epydemia A") to puke on me, which he did after a few moments of hesitation (people told me that I was running after him afterwards with a huge chain, but I can't recall that. A lot of things, that better be left untold, happened that night. Anyway, during that historic weekend Lembrik asked me to join forces with him and form a band, I agreed and he called it "Sracha" (shits) which I didn't like. The early days. The second chapter in our history was the first session in Rehovot city. We were supposed to play there, but ... Imagine, small town, main street, 5 story residential building, on the second floor a room, which before the gig was some sort of Russian immigrants center or something similar ... well the gig was there!!! with "Epydemia A", and in between some hippy bands, that made punks even more angry, and words like "Fuck" and "Destroy" started to appear in our heads in all possible orders. Sooner or later, this "Fucking Destroy" in residential building had to come to it's logical conclusion... well, truly "Fucking Destroy" !!! Everything inside was destroyed, including the TV set, which some naive people from the Ministry of Absorption, that allowed all this to happen, left inside... pogo... Obviously, we didn't play. We had two choices - to wait until the police will arrive, or to get the fuck out of there as soon as possible. But the most important event of that night happened much later. When we came to remains of an old building in a desolate area to spend the night. I can't recall in what context it was, but Boom said: "Stena Sracha" (The Shits Wall) which struck me straight away - that was the name !!! The first proper gig we played in Rehovot (again ...), it was, what people call, "the second Rehovot session", was organized by the same people as was the first one, but this time it was outdoors, near the Serpentarium rehearsal garage. The funny thing (kindly speaking) is that in no other place you will find any mentioning of Stena Sracha playing there (!), so I will not write a word about those Sov-rock impotents there. The only other bands worth mentioning were "Epydemia A" and "Anus". Well, it was a very strange gig, 'coz Lembrik wasn't available, due to health problems, so I was singing, and for the first time Boom and Docent played with us (me this time). Only three songs were performed: State, Ghost and a song that was never played before nor after, with lyrics by Veronka Zaslavski (my best high school friend), it was called ... ah well, can't remember. Haifa sessions. Boom and Docent were from the North (Haifa city and Tirat Carmel ), Lembrik lived in Holon city and I lived in Ariel, so we decided to rehearse in Haifa, in Dry Ice Studio. The three weekends in Haifa turned out to be an absolutely ecstatic experience. We not only rehearsed, but also recorded and, thanks to VJ Max (Kolia Blues), Israeli channel 2 team filmed a footage about Russian punk movement in this country, which basically was an interview with us, our friends (mostly Alex Mooh), and Stena Sracha playing State, Ghost and Act live in between. Live In Jerusalem. Organised by Mooh, "10 years of Grazhdanskaya Oborona ("Public Defense" - the most influential Russian punk band from Siberia)". It took place in "The center for Soviet Jews" or something like that ... Due to alcohol abuse only two songs were performed. Our showman Losharic and, soon to become a Bible follower, Lembric got absolutely pissed and collapsed, Losharik on the drums and Lembrick on the audience respectively. After this kind of behavior the gig was closed by the sound man yelling: "Tak Vse Poshli Nahui !" which means "Everybody, Fuck Off !". The sound was fucked up anyway, so I was not pissed off at all.

Search | Add | 2 | Larry Emmett | According to several sources, the Kansas City area’s first homegrown rock band of note was [a=Larry Emmett] and [a=The Sliders (5)]. Larry Emmett was Native American, born on the Prairie Band Potawatomi Reservation near Mayetta, Kansas. His parents moved to DeSoto, Kan., where Larry attended high school and began playing the guitar. In the late 1950s and early ’60s, the band played gigs from Kansas City to Omaha, Neb., and many points in between. Their early engagements included high school dances and privately sponsored “teen town” parties, as well as Berry’s Barn in Olathe, Kan. — one of several area barns converted to dance halls during that era. They also performed at KC nightclubs, including the Promenade Ballroom at 31st and Main streets and the Crossroads at Benton Boulevard and Swope Parkway. Upon his 2011 induction into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame, saxophonist Jim “Sweet Lips” Wilson told The Eudora, Kan., Reporter that the Sliders won a battle of the bands sponsored by WDAF-TV in 1958. Larry Emmett and the Sliders consisted of Emmett (guitar and vocals), Charles “Bud” Ross (later of Kustom amps fame, on bass and vocals), Frank Huffman (drums) and Jim Wilson (sax and vocals). Before Ross joined, Larry’s father, Chris (aka Flash), often played the bass. Larry Emmett fronted several other bands before and after the Sliders, including the Tonemasters and the Swingin’ Indians (the latter group featuring [a=Tom Bark], later of Colt 45/KC Blues Band). The Sliders recorded one seven-inch 45 rpm record, released in 1959 or ’60 on their own Blues label. The titles, credited to Emmett, are “West Coast Blues” and “Bluesy,” and they are, indeed, slow blues instrumentals. Emmett left the Kansas City area in the late 1960s and died in 2000 in Albuquerque, N.M.
