Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Red McCoy | Wayne Evon Busbice | Wayne Evon Busbice (1929-2011), who performed and recorded in the fifties and sixties as Red McCoy, is probably most remembered for two things; being the older brother of the troubled and brilliant bluegrass mandolinist/tenor Buzz Busby, and for having written and recorded a strange pseudo-Rockabilly track, "Rock And Roll Atom". Red and Buzz were Louisiana farm boys whose life trajectories could not have been more stark in their differences. While Buzz led a life riddled with drug and alcohol problems, prison stints, and a shattered career, brother Wayne’s many faceted career involved distinguished military service, advanced higher education, and a long run in music as a performer, recording artist and producer. Late in life he authored a volume on the family history of the Busbice name in Louisiana titled "Uncovering the Secrets of a Southern Family: A Memoir", about which a press release states "But the undercurrent of Wayne's life remained a driving need to uncover the family secret: a killing the adults whispered about when they gathered behind closed doors. Wayne discovered he was living under a false name; Cousin Allen was really his grandfather; and Allen had lived a double life as a fugitive from the Pinkerton detectives of the 1890s." |

Search | Add | 3 | thingNY | thingNY is a quirky collective of New York composer-performers who fuse electronic and acoustic chamber music with new opera, improvisation, theater, text, song and installation. Founded in 2006 for an ad hoc festival in the historic Loew’s Jersey City Theater, thingNY performs experimental sound works created collaboratively by the core ensemble - Paul Pinto, Erin Rogers, Jeffrey Young, Gelsey Bell, Dave Ruder, and Andrew Livingston - and by adventurous composers such as Robert Ashley, Frederic Rzewski, John King, Pauline Oliveros, Miguel Frasconi, Vinko Globokar, John Cage, Julius Eastman, James Tenney, David Snow, and Andrea La Rose.
Search | Add | 3 | Chris Hervey | American drummer and bass player. Chris Hervey played drums on the Downcast LP, but he left the band in favor of playing bass in Statue. Chris was stabbed and killed on 1/4/96, supposedly by a prowler who had broken into his girlfriend's house during the night. The case was never solved and went cold until Santa Ana, CA police received an anonymous letter in January 2020 implicating the girlfriend in Chris's death. She was arrested in Austin, TX (where she was living at the time) on May 5th, 2022 and is currently awaiting extradition to California.

Search | Add | 3 | Wizzards Of Rock | Wizzards Of Rock (MC Sheeck and B-Boy Hutch) | Sheeck has been in the Hip Hop game since the 80's. He was an original member of the infamous group “Above The Law”, doing production on several tracks and having a highly influential impact on the group. Due to contractual disagreements, Sheeck and Above The Law parted ways as a group. As Above The Law continued on, Sheeck stayed busy behind the scenes producing and writing for himself, Above The Law and other groups alike. Through a long journey in the music industry, often taking a back seat on his own career, Sheeck has since emerged with his solo album “UnderGround Hog” , released in 2007, with the first single “Crazy” featuring Suga Free. After hooking back up with fellow Pomona producer, Tony “TouchTone” Isaac, the two collaborated on a few tracks and Sheeck followed through with his own production on the rest of the album. Not only showing the mastery of his music production skills, Sheeck displays an ability like no other on his lyrical style and content. Once you hear his music, you can clearly see that this artist is a seasoned vet and not a newcomer to Hip Hop. Sheeck is now part of a NEW group entitled Dreaded. The Album will release early 2011, while the first sneak peek song is on Youtube entitled "Krooked Letter'r" performed by Rickshaw with Sheeck doing the spoken word. The new project is "conscience" music, meant to stimulate the mind and teach knowledge unlike the brainless mind music out today. |

His music is a thankful surprise with its sky-rending hybridization of eastern european guitar spree & 70s snowdazed modal folkrock. Resonant drums burst through the giant aluminum churn of guitar, voice, and percussion arcing overhead. Dancing between poles of hot motion & cool mass, Sergey’s impressively energetic numbers establish themselves long enough to each become deeply meaningful, essential scenes in his pan shamanic expression.
