Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | DJ Robson Vidal | Brazilian DJ and Music Producer. At the age of 13, he started partying at friends' playgrounds until he was invited by Paulo Lima (owner of the turbo disco club team) to fill a vacancy for a speaker loader and illuminator. Seeing in me the awakening and the enchantment that I had for the figure of the Dj on the dance floors and for the interest that I had shown, he was the first to give me an opportunity as a Dj in a team so famous and respected until today, TURBO DISCO CLUB (Atlas and Mackenzie clubs in Méier). Shortly thereafter, it also gave me the opportunity to start working on radio with the invitation to run an evening radio program on TROPICAL FM 104.5 called "Saturday Party". From then on the doors were opened and he was invited to work at Manhattan Disco (one of the most prestigious dance clubs in RJin season ). Always wearing a cap on his head, DJ Robson Vidal is appointed as one of the biggest names of the night in Rio and became famous after being the first DJ of a dance music program in the afternoon, with Adrenalinaon radio Transamérica-RJ (audience leader at the time). He also worked on Tropical FM, Manchete FM, and Jovem Pan FM RJ radio stations. He stood out as a music producer and composer of successful themes such as the famous opening of Planeta Xuxa called GIRO DO PLANETA (the only opening of the program that became successful on all dance floors in Brazil), with the partnership of Daniel Figueiredo and Abdullah in composition. He produced several successful remixes, especially Milk, Toast and Honey - Roxette, the only Brazilian remix approved by the band itself. In addition, in his studio, he produces several musical styles.Vidal took part as a DJ for 4 years in one of Rede Globo's most watched programs (Planeta XUXA), alongside Queen Xuxa.He is responsible for the creation of the unique musical style called “TEKNOBEAT”, a rhythm that exploded in Brazil and abroad through Teknobeat Radio Hit (internet radio specialized in the style he created). His sets are full of hits, news and exclusive versions whether at Electro House or Teknobeat, performing at various parties, shows and nightclubs inside and outside the country. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Thee Creepfreaks | Thee Creepfreaks are a psychobilly trio from London, combining up-tempo drumbeats, loud dirty guitar and demonic vocals. In the summer of 2012 Peter (ex-Nocturnal Teds/ Miniskirt Blues) dusted off his rockin’ guitar and called double bass player Anthony and they started starting rehearsing and stringing together a few tracks and after a few different drummers they found the bone rattling beats of Jeremy (Devil Crockett). After Anthony left the country we have hooked up with our new bass player Ash and are roaring and ready to go again…. Since their first gig at The Klub in Camden, they’ve been playing regularly in London supporting bands like Mad Sin, Tall Boys, Demented are Go and many others. With a love of horror, armed with macabre lyrics and a view of the world in demise, these psycho love children of Lemmy and Elvis will get the pit going and have you howling at the moon until the early morning light. | |

Already at young age, he started listening to his fathers music collection, which was embossed by Jazz and Bossa Nova or got influenced by his mothers love for Harry Belafonte. This laid the foundation for his deep sense of music, which you can hear down to the present day. But also Techno, Funk & all that Soul, Hip-Hop and Punk'n'Roll played a big role within his musical development. The year "Homework" was a turning point in his life where he mainly focused on techno and house music and started off producing. DJ-ing followed shortly after that and contributed to improve his skills and knowledge of quality music. Nowadays you can still find this slight breeze of jazz but also the roots of house music in his music style. | |

The young prodigal of Akyé music seduces and wins the sympathy of music lovers. In particular the fairer sex. When he was born, Alain had given up by his father ... and that, at one point, disrupted his childhood. Fortunately, he will grow up in an environment of women, where he has received a lot of tenderness. His mother cradles little Alain and both form a "bond" until 2000, when Alain decides to go to France in order to embrace a real career as a musician. He has the support of his mother. But at the same time, she worries about the loneliness that she will have to do without her adored son. Alain, it must be emphasized, was his only son. He leaves donations. But whenever his mother had a problem, Alain immediately returned to his Ananguié village, to give his support to the one who has always guided his steps. One of his plans was to allow his mother to go to Paris. In 2001, she fell ill. This wish will not come true, because illness got the better of Mary (her mother) on June 12 of the same year. A real blow for Alain. The death of his mother affected him so much that he believed that his existence should end there ... He buried his mother with dignity. And, each time he is in possession of his guitar, the first note he "plucks" is a chorus in homage to Marie, his mother. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Autonome Republik 2b | 2B, the former branch of the Den Briel and Vester textile factory, was squatted in 1984 by a group of artists united in the Zesde Kolonne Foundation, founded in the same year. Until May 2002, this place in the center of Eindhoven was a hotbed of independent art and culture. Independent of the culture of power and money, but with its own face, which harked back to the age-old syndicalist-anarchist ideas. This may seem anachronistic in these times of liberal capitalism and opportunism, but in the broader perspective of humanitarian development we believe that socialism, adapted to the then prevailing spirit of the times, will be a decisive factor in the positive development of humanity. In the meantime, during this interwar period of confusion and fundamentalist chaos, let this website make its modest contribution to keeping this idea alive. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Catastrophe Theory | Catastrophe Theory was formed in the early 1980's by high school friends Jowi Taylor, Gordon Nicholson and Bob Esplin as an experimental basement group using tape loops, crude electronics, found objects, handmade and conventional instruments. Jowi and Gordon reformed the group in 1984 and began recording the first cassette, Debris (1985) which went to #31 on the CKLN Top 100 of 1985. Through the nascent fanzine and international community-radio network, Debris went on to critical success at independent radio stations and magazines in cities from Chicago to Stockholm. The second release, Day Rides a Tiger (1986) introduced samplers into the studio palette and resulted in even greater success locally, nationally and internationally. The cassette finished at #1 on the cassette chart at CKLN in 1987 and reached # 8 in the overall Top 100. In 1989, music from Day Rides a Tiger and additional new music was used in the documentary film The Iconoclast: The Images of Richard Slye by Michael Connelly and Malcolm Harris. The documentary aired in Canada on TVO, TFO, VisionTV, Knowledge Network and other cable services as well as PBS affiliates in the United States. In 1993, Catastrophe Theory was commissioned by Harbourfront Centre in Toronto to compose original music for the Canada Day celebrations. The project was a collaboration with the pyrotechnic firm Perfomance Pyrotechnics Associates of Toronto and St. Louis. The resulting piece, Fire:Work debuted before an estimated audience of 10,000 to rave reviews on July 1st, 1993. Jowi and Gordon's reputation for sporadic collaborative creative outbursts has meant a bare trickle since 1993. The latest single, ThunderPrint was in development for approximately three years before being released on an Impact Magazine sampler in 1995. (taken from http://www3.sympatico.ca/e-jowi/cas.html) | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Life In Cage | They started as a trio in 1984 with Christos Skordilis (guitar), Theofilos Tsiolakakis (bass, vocals) and Manolis Romenis (drums). The latter left early due to studies. Theofilos was inspired by the name "The Lion In A Cage" by Genesis P-Orridge of Throbbing Gristle, on the back cover of Clock DVA's Thirst album. With the addition of Babis Argiriou (keyboards, guitar, vocals), Giorgos Kyriakos (guitarist already in International Comedy and Mushrooms) as drummer and Kosmas Alexiou who took over the bass, they released a self-titled tape which was the first release of Lazy Dog Records (1985). In two of the songs on the tape, "Nekropsia" and "Fall (In A Basket Full Of Snakes)", drums were played by Lazaros Pliambas (International Comedy, Proxies, Flood, Grover, Rodama, Dinos Sadikis). After the departure of Theofilos Tsiolakakis, with Babis Argyriou on vocals, the group recorded the songs "Inactive" and "Maybe Some More", which were included on the cassette compilation "Give Bees A Chance" (1985). | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Damn The Maps | The name, Damn the Maps, was derived from a philosophy shared by all three band members, that people should follow their own maps, their hearts, and not follow what society says is necessary to be accepted. Regardless of race, creed, political influence etc, the band believes that all people should be true to themselves and not true to the social map. And so the name was established. Singer/Songwriter/Bass Player Martin Green moved to Melbourne from Auckland, New Zealand, following shows there with a ‘kiwi’ line-up, including supports for some of New Zealand’s top bands including The Datsuns, Head Like A Hole, Stellar* and Tadpole. Upon his arrival in Australia in March 2003, Martin joined with Australians, Nicholas Riley (Guitar) and Mark Coats (Drums), to establish a new Damn the Maps’ line-up. Damn the Maps supported Evermore in Melbourne in September 2004 and again in the Victorian towns of Mildura, Belgrave and Mornington in April 2005 during the Evermore national tour. Many Victorian live shows ensued including festivals such as The Apollo Bay Music Festival, Need for Feed Festival, Venus Bay Festival, and the Maitreya Festival. The band’s two EP’s which were released in 2005 and 2006 respectively, received radio play in NZ, on Auckland stations BFM and The Rock, Hamilton’s The Generator, and in Australia, on stations such as Triple J, Triple R, and PBS. Television appearances have included TVNZ’s Good Morning New Zealand. Now as 2008 takes hold, the band has penned their debut album, much to the delight of an ever-increasing fanbase. ‘Input Output’ is released on VENT/Amphead and is also available digitally through Orchard worldwide, from 26 April 2008. The album is a showcase of the band’s diversity and of Martin Green’s obvious skill as a songwriter. The album ebbs and flows across the rock/pop genre with hints of influences such as Muse, Coldplay and Radiohead. Band Members: Martin 'The Moustache' Green (vocals, bass) Nick 'Not Entirely' Riley (guitar, vocals) Huw 'Mad Dog' Elias (drums) - SOURCE: music.net.nz | |
