Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 8 | Spoilman | SPOILMAN | Formed in Tokyo and starting in 2019, SPOILMAN is a rare alternative/grunge band influenced by US grunge and post-hardcore, and unusually in recent years, they profess respect for The Jesus Lizard and have inherited its metamorphosis. The band's expressiveness is backed by high performance, killer guitar riffs, rhythmic and beat resolution, muscle-shredding simplicity of note count, and gritty sound and its sharpness. The band has not been snatched up by the mainstream, and has maintained a BEST KEPT SECRET presence to this day. The production speed of their albums is astonishingly fast, and they have released three albums so far, "BODY" (2020), "SOLID GREEN" (2021), and "HARMONY" (2022), on Kerosene Records at a yearly pace. The creative pace continues to accelerate, and this year, 2023, he finally broke through the meter and produced two albums' worth of music, which will be recorded on two albums as "UNDERTOW" and "COMBER". Many of their friends joined them to record the two albums, which were completed in a single day, and the album is so full of killer songs that they proclaim it their best work ever. Both albums are positioned as the 4th album, with "Undertow" meaning "undertow" and "Comber" meaning "incoming wave," and the songs on both albums have a direction that is in line with each album. |

Search | Add | 8 | Sherbet Underground | Sherbet Underground were founded on the New Year’s Eve of 1991 by Antal Geza and Aleksandar Petrovic Mechka. The duo initially tried to play in the line-up of just vocal and guitar, with computer-programmed drum & bass matrix. On their first concert, in April of 1992, few other musicians joined them – Takacs Tibor Faki on clarinet, Dejan Cemerlic Cemerla on trumpet and Zvonko Saric, a guest who spoke his poetry... The band held a dozen concerts, with occasional guest appearance of Dr.Fuzz's whatthe guitar -- the hand-made effects of "dubing" sound. Due to technical inability to perform normal concerts in times of monetary inflation, the band produced self-proclaimed "sound engineers" who, in their arrogance, stupidity and ignorance, failed to solve the “enigma", so Geza and Mechka finally decided to introduce "live" rhythm section…

Search | Add | 8 | Goodbye Lisbon | Jorge Alves | Goodbye Lisbon was created by Jorge Alves, a portuguese musician who has been making and producing electronic music for almost two decades. He started as a DJ in high school in the 90’s and ended up working as a professional DJ in reputed discos in Madeira, such as Bacará. His love and burning passion for electronic music started then! The music styles of House, Techno, Trance and Break Beat were always on his turntables every night. He moved to Lisbon, in order to attend University, but his heart was beating music, so he started his own project called "Download" and soon was considered one of the best newcomers on electronic music in the year 2000 by ProMusica Magazine. This brought him the chance of having a track of the project “Download” launched in a compilation CD of musics from the best portuguese upcoming DJs. Through the years, Jorge Alves has collaborated with other musicians successfully, including with a portuguese band who launched a CD in Portugal, playing the role of the main keyboard player and producer. In 2003, another adventure started when he moved to Belgium and got closer to the international electronic music scene. He launched Goodbye Lisbon as a tribute to his adventures in Lisbon’s nightlife. Currently, Jorge Alves is still working in his area of studies, but in parallel still produces electronic music as it is his major passion. |

Search | Add | 8 | Nobilitas Nigra | Both members also involved in bands April Ethereal, Oktor and Surt. Nobilitas Nigra was formed as a side-project to a band, which name will forever remain unknown. The band saw the light of the moon for the first time in april 1999 Anno Bastardi. Nobilitas Nigra, inspired by northern beliefs and culture, as well as by the art of Immortal, Satyricon, Gorgoroth, Mayhem, recorded one of the most brutal debiut materials in polish underground - "Celebrating The Northern Altar" and temporarily splitted up. In october 1999 Anno Bastardi the band entered once again the studios in order to record the material which brought total annihilation to the Earth. "Gloria Sathanas", containing faster and more brutal black metal art, was meant to kill the few who have survived "Celebrating..." demo. One month after "Gloria Sathanas" was released, the band members decided to definitively split up because they thought it was impossible for a human being to play faster than the music contained on the "GS" demo. In may 2000 anno bastardi Vicomte Kveldulv and Kniaz Krig entered the studios in order to record and to release the most brutal black metal art ever heard... If you are reading these words, it means that you are still alive after the two previous NN demos, or you didn't had the chance to listen to Nobilitas Nigra music. The last (but not lesat) NN masterpiece is called "The Only True Armageddon" and is the most professionnally edited one. The sound is powerful, Krig used 3 guitar tracks instead of one, the songs are a bit longer (about 30 seconds) and are faster and more brutal. "The Only True Armageddon" is the first NN release which will have a color layout and will be promoted in Poland and in the world, in Russia for example.

Search | Add | 8 | DJ Snoyl | Joe Lyons | One of Boston's best kept secrets, DJ Snoyl, a.k.a "The Remix All-Star", has been impressing hip-hop fans nationally and internationally for the past seven years. In 1996 Snoyl began his career spinning hip-hop and knew that entertaining the masses was his calling. Snoyl's extensive experience in the music industry is evident to any ear that hears his unique mixing flavor. He began in '96 as a radio mix-show DJ at WBIM 91.5 FM. In 1997, Snoyl became the Urban Music Director at WBIM. He was also working for a mobile DJ company on the weekends. Working at colleges and high school dances gave Snoyl even more experience with mixing. Tearin' up the land of mix-tapes/CDs. It was big from the start. Despite limited resources, Snoyl's first mix-tape release made it big, real big. The tape, titled "Freestyles 2000", featured all original freestyle raps from both local hip-hop artists and internationally known artists including Eminem and members of the Wu-Tang Clan. The fact that this local unknown DJ was releasing his first major mixtape with over 50 known hip-hop artists doing exclusives gave Snoyl more than a foot in the door. "I recorded that tape in my parents basement with two tape decks and a Discman when I was home on college vacation. These were freestyles that artists had mailed to me and even left on my voicemail! I never imagined that it would be as big as it was!" said Snoyl. More recently, Snoyl has been on the grind with some major mix-CD releases. Last summer he released a double Jay-Z and 50 Cent Blend CD during the Roc The Mic tour. This CD set features over 50 acapella tracks from the duo, blended over beats from Eminem, Dre, and others. If you're a Biggie fans, you already have a copy of Snoyl's recently released "The Christopher Wallace Project" This Notorious B.I.G. tribute CD hosts 43 tracks mixed by Snoyl. In addition to the "Snoyl Blends" of classic and rare Biggie material, freestyles, rare interviews and Biggie demo tracks, Snoyl surprises listeners with never-before-released remixes, "I have been researching this project for about a year and I made sure that at least 75% of the tracks (these versions) on my CD have never been released before by any DJ on any mixtape." Says Snoyl. Snoyl fans have also been waiting in anticipation for his new CD set titled "DJ Snoyl - New Artist Series" The first artist featured is Pop / R&B singer, BL. He competed in the USA World Showcase in Las Vegas last summer, placing first in the male vocal category out of approximately 42,000 applicants worldwide. The BL mix-CD features exclusive "Snoyl remixes" with Kanye West, Method Man, and others. Whether Snoyl is spinning hip-hop at a club, or cutting up vinyl at a concert, he is known for one thing…moving the crowd. Snoyl has performed on stage with major acts like Busta Rhymes and smaller acts like Boston locals "The Kreators". No matter what the venue, the crowd is always moving while Snoyl is on the tables - he has DJ-ed sold out venues of 2000+ along with many smaller venues in Boston and around the country. "I love looking out at the crowd and seeing that one person standing still in the middle of the crowd looking at me with a confused look on their face like 'How did he get this remix'" laughs Snoyl Snoyl's style is rare, if not one of-a-kind to the hip-hop scene. He is one of the only DJ's that mixes instrumentals and acapellas live. He creates live new blends as he DJ's! Those in attendance at Snoyl's shows are always in awe of his hypnotic mixing style that is guaranteed to be a hit with any hip-hop crowd. To book Snoyl worldwide, contact his agent, Jaime Andrews at booking@snoyl.com Get your hands on Snoyl. Snoyl CDs should be a mandatory part of any hip-hop fans CD collection. Every CD that he has released is mixed non-stop with no talking. He keeps the "mix" in mixtape. "A lot of DJ's today don't mix. They put together a compilation of random new songs and talk over it. No mixing, no blending, no scratching, no creativity. "Mix" tapes are an art form that have been unfortunately forgotten" Snoyl says. Snoyl takes pride in his patience to spend a month or more putting together a concept CD that is well thought out and meaningful. By the time Snoyl's new projects hit the shelves, they are packed with blends and remixes that many times, no other DJ has. A local music chain that carries Snoyl's CD's in all 24 of their locations sold out of Snoyl's Jay-Z & 50 Cent double Blend CD production in less than a week! To date, Snoyl has ten different mix-CD's that are selling consistently around the globe and online. His website (www.snoyl.com) alone generates over 2500 hits per day from visitors in over 50 countries. Get your hands on some of Snoyl's work by visiting www.snoyl.com. Snoyl is available worldwide for clubs, concerts, and major college events. In addition to his work as a hip-hop remix DJ, Snoyl owns a consulting business that caters to small businesses and individuals who need design and marketing services. Spin350.com Design Services specializes in the music and entertainment industry. |

Search | Add | 8 | The Bisquits | The Biquits is a bulgarian dance band founded in 1995 by Sasho T., Sasho S. and Tisho. The original idea was about a remixers' team but soon it turned into an original project with the first single release "Ghaidi (Welcome To Bulgaria)". Its an original dance track featuring the sound of an authentical bulgarian music instrument big pipe. The result was unbelievable and the track became a summer hit in Bulgaria during 1996. The bulgarian national soccer team chose it as its official hymn for the Euro Games '96, the dutch company ToCo International signed it for distribution and the single was released in different compilations for 36 contries. The single was presented on popular radio shows for BBC and Billboard. The bulgarian traditional folklore voices and instruments like ghaida (big pipe), kaval and tambura, mixed with dance music, became a trade mark of the band and the following singles "Goro", "Horo", "Kaval", were sticked to this style. In 1998 the band changed a bit its members and turned the name into The Bisquits Project. With the new female dancer and singer Biliana (Bi) they started producing new singles like "The Return" following the current dream dance style at the end of the 90s. They had a lot of live and tv performances, also the singles got many airplays in radio and tv shows. After the release of their album "The Return" in 1998, the band took a pause and the lead producers started solo carrers releasing some singles under the alias Alex and Dj T60. In 2014, one of the main producers - Dj Tisho, decided to relive the project and make a comeback, changing its name again to The New Bisquits Project. He remixed the old 90's singles into a new updated versions and recorded some brand new songs like "Bela Beka", "White Rose" and "Pilence Pee", in the same formula of traditional bulgarian folk melodies mixed with house music. All new songs, mixes and original singles were released in the new album entitled "DG / BG" ("Digital / Bulgarian"). "Bela Beka" was chosen for the first single of the album, featuring the folklore singer Nikoleta. In 2016, the new project signed a contract with the german dance label Dmn Records for international releases and produced the maxi singles "Bela Beka" and "Mari Mariiko".

Search | Add | 8 | Joy Peck | Adapted from the Age's obituary: Joy Peck (9 Oct 1928 - 3 Feb 2008) was one of Australia's more notable naive painters. The daughter of a craftsman, she was born in Ballarat but grew up with her sisters Val and Bernice in Warrnambool. As a child she suffered from allergies, which kept her away from school: this left her with a sense of the fragility of life, but also with a great love of it. She sang in public, danced, and later gave memorable parties. But her great love soon became painting. Peck was trained by Sir William Dargie at the National Gallery School, and her canvases soon abounded in strong colours, mists, and children and child-like faces. The critic Phillip Adams once observed: "Joy appears to live in a world without war, aggression or cruelty, where affection would be as luxuriant as foliage, where the very light would be infused with love." If earlier in life her painting had been partly in denial, as she aged it was more in a spirit of rebuttal. Peck was concerned about the injustices of the world — perhaps more so after visiting the ruins of a village in France that the Nazis had vengefully destroyed, killing everybody in it. Sometimes the darker element crept into her painting: there is a swirling, elemental terror evident in her Loch Ard series, in which she painted the famous shipwreck. And for someone so much at home in the fantastic, her portraits could be surprisingly gritty. Peck exhibited from 1960 until 1997 in Canberra, Sydney and Brisbane as well as in a number of Melbourne galleries, including Realities, Manyung, and the South Yarra and Eltham galleries. Significantly, she was asked to submit work for the 1978 Biennale in Limoges. This French city, where she lived for some months, is the world centre for enamelling, a craft much more developed in the francophone world than elsewhere. Later she exhibited at another enamellists' biennale in Quebec. Lively and colourful, Peck is associated with two bohemian moments — Eltham in the 1950s and '60s, and Fitzroy from the 1970s to the '90s. In Eltham, she and her husband, Hal, were part of a circle that included Tim and Betty Burstall, Clifton Pugh and other artists. Barry Humphries had a walk-on part. Down the hill lived John and Inga Clendinnen. Many people found their way to the Pecks' ample, mud-brick house; among them was a young schoolboy, Phillip Adams. Peck was an early encourager, and he remained a lifelong friend. For the last 25 years of her life, Peck set up her easel on a cast-iron balcony overlooking Moor Street, Fitzroy. In her long dresses, picture hat and flashes of purple and green, she was often seen on the arm of her son Marcus, going out for coffee. She died of died from cancer at St Vincent's Hospital at the age of 79.

Search | Add | 8 | The Easy Aces Five | Easy Aces | The group's leader, fiddler William (Bill) Boychuk, formed the band in the 1940s or 1950s. Based in the Canadian province of Alberta, they played thousands of weddings, dances, anniversaries, and house parties. They ceased performing in the late 1960s, when Bill relocated to the province of British Columbia. The group recorded over 102 original Ukrainian selections: fifteen 78 rpm records, two 45 rpm records, and five LP records on the Stinson, Arrex, DSF, Heritage, and V-Records labels. Some selections featured a full band and others reverted to the traditional instrumentation for a village wedding band: violin, tsymbaly, and drum. The band's 1955 recording of "The Early Bird of Spring" was used for many years as the theme song for CFCW Radio's Ukrainian Hour program (based in the city of Edmonton, Alberta). |

Search | Add | 8 | TLFN | Григорий Сергеев | TLFN – It’s like reading between the lines. Raw industrial noise, hypnotic loops of atypic beats, the howl of synthesizers – it all transforms into flow, like a fog that envelops you, erasing the walls… _ Somewhere deep down of the wires the force is swaying that have created them. On each motherboard as in labyrinths flows of the energy giving life wander. Just like in man, there is a trace of the fundamental principle that allows us to seek a connection with nature in the creation of a new world. In a new reality, music is a cyborg of art, mixing natural analog sounds and crystal digital waves. |
