Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025

Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Cobrateens 1,2,3,4! These eternal adolescents offered themselves a fierce threesome promising a short relationship, but one that is intense. Never passing the two minutes mark, their songs suffice to fill the needs of the ''3D Kid(Guitar), the ''Rocketeers''(Bass) and the ''Machinegun''(Drums). Mixing their respective singularly influenced cries, two boys and a girl, unite in a punk/garage noise that smashes. Cobrateens is spitting its loud venom in your ears like a punch in your face. Pleasure guaranteed in the pain of an tinnitus orgasm under the penetrating sight of the ''W''.

Search Add 2 Kinetic Minds Nathaniel Lees & Scott Strutton Kinetic Minds are an electronic duo originally from the UK, but are currently based In Marbella. Despite only forming in late 2019, the duo have managed to establish themselves as one of the most exciting electronic artists on the scene. Their innovative approach to producing music is varied and unique, from thumping house rhythms to euphoric dripped melodies, making them a serious force to be reckoned with in the music industry. To date they have already had a string of successful releases and been featured in many mixes, which has seen them grow a steady following worldwide. Their latest record “Was a Time” showcases what they’re all about, energetic house music with soul. “Was a Time” hit 100K streams on Spotify within the first month and is still growing. They have also been featured on a number of mainstream media outlets, including BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra and Kiss FM. They have played at the Abu Dhabi Formula 1, hosted private events in Dubai, in addition to regularly hosting events in Marbella. 2021 is already looking like an extremely good year for the duo with releases scheduled on record labels Axtone and Newstate Music. With nightclubs and festivals relaunching soon around the world, we are excited to see what’s in store for Kinetic Minds.

Search Add 2 Machtenzym The energetic duo MachtEnzym has been around for quite some time evolving from the depths of Dresden’s always growing electronic music scene. They both gained massive respect and enthusiasm when playing live so it’s really no wonder the partycrowd goes wild after their unique and blending mixture of live drums (Matthias Macht) and the utterly experimental and crackling live electronics (Enzym). Razorsharp, versatile and non-standard drum patterns as both musicians play their instruments efficent with total control over the buttons and still they have enough room to improvise proved by the fact they come up with an entirely new set for every single show. Improvisation seems to be the magic concept behind the professional and stunning live shows they put up while being on stage. MachtEnzym melts together two very varied musicians to one powerful core. Rating: absolutely worth hearing!
