Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

It's Friday, January 31, 2014, when, returning from a Red Fang concert at The Cage Theatre in Livorno (Tuscany), Nico, Indi, and Pietro decide to meet the next day in the rehearsal room to form a stoner rock band. However, unable to find a pair of drumsticks, the project stalls before it even starts. Coming to their rescue is Daniele Dubrovnik Walowiz Ragusa, considered by all as the best drummer in the realm that stretches from the obscure hillside roads to the thrilling parking lots of a quaint, ageing suburban town in the province of Genoa, Italy. So, on February 6, 2014, Fear the Beards was born. For the next two years, perhaps in an effort to find their way, they waste a lot of time, mostly playing rough covers, eating pasta with pesto, and navel gazing. In the spring of 2016, Re Giorgio Canali, a guitarist known for his contributions to bands like CSI, PGR, and Rossofuoco, labelled the quartet as "shitty hipster". Despite feeling both offended and oddly flattered, they embark on composing original pieces. On February 7, 2018, the band start recording their debut album at RedLand Home Studio, guided by Stefano Malvasio in the Riviera hinterland. "Pigs on Titan" is released in July of the same year. In the following years, they have had live performances at various concerts and festivals, culminating in a resounding evening at The Cage Theater in Livorno. At present, the band is diligently crafting the compositions for their upcoming full-length album. | |

Members: Nick Sayre - Vocals/Guitar Nathan Kaufman - Unclean Vocals/Keys/Synth Aaron Troyer - Lead Guitar Matthew Thompson - Bass Tony Saffell - Drums Ian Baldwin - Drums Brent Miller - Vocals/Guitar Ben Roth - Drums Discography: 2009 - Dudemanbro 2008 - Dear Friends From their Myspace: "We've gone through two member change recently, which is not holding us back. While we love Brent and will miss him, we are excited for what our new singer (clean singing, our screams are still coming from Nate) Nick will be able to do for us. Ian our new drum is energetic, creative, and has much to bring to our group. In these two years, we have managed to start to leave a mark on this world's over saturated music scene. We have been played on RadioU's hardcore show and made the top ten most requested songs on that show, we played in front of over a thousand people at ROCCfest '08, we are gearing up to play Icthus, Cornerstone and preparing for our first tour." | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Flat 19 | Hailing from South London, Flat 19 were formed in the spring of 1980 when old pals Steve and Gordon found Barry through an ad in a music paper and Andy was a mate of Gordon’s older brother. So the band was formed with Steve Bartlett on Vocals & Guitar, Gordon Watson on Vocals & Guitar, Barry Frost on Bass and Andy Hunter on Drums. All four of them had a love of all things Beatles, Stones, Mod and the Sixties. They named themselves after an, at that point an unreleased Merton Parkas song as they were their local band and they were all fans. Their first live performance took place at a school friend’s wedding in late1980 but their first proper gig took place at The Castle pub in Tooting in Feb 1981 supporting Andy’s brother’s band “Hit and Run” who were very popular at the time playing RnB that was very similar to Nine Below Zero. They played regular gigs at The Castle in Tooting (and became their house band as Andy was now DJing there too) and Kings Head in Fulham and in no time they had built up a hard-core following of fans as they mixed their set up with some classy original tracks along with the trusty covers one of which was “Run Run Run” by the Who which they always closed their set with, accompanied with plenty of feedback along with an manic strobe lighting show! The Crowed loved this and it always went down a storm! On Saturday 30th May 1981, they ventured into ‘Wave Studios” in Twickenham to lay down these three tracks. This was actually 40 Years ago and has stayed unreleased to now!!!! During their three year existence they played a lot of gigs, sometimes up to 4 in one week. The biggest gig that the band got to play was supporting The Purple Hearts in Ilford. When Andy and Barry left for reasons no one can remember, Simon Smith of The Merton Parkas and Andy’s Brother Phil filled in until permanent replacements could be found and then a young Steve White took over the drums and Mick Martin was drafted in on Bass. This line-up did one gig supporting The Truth at the Marquee. They were offered more gigs, but decided to call it a day as it wasn’t the same in the summer of 1982. | |

-------------------------------------------- Hungry Lambs was born when Lucho Cardona, influenced by bands like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, and Staind, decided to start a band with his school friends. Years later, he revived the project alongside Sebastián Cardona, who brought the power of metal and razor-sharp guitar riffs in the style of Metallica. Daniel Upegui then joined, adding his “secret sauce” through a powerful, Latin-influenced drumming style. Finally, Camilo Henao, with his broad musical knowledge, completed the band with his solid and distinctive bass playing. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Jono Heyes | The musical tapestry of Jono Heyes’s debut album Le Fisherboy is real eye opener for world music lovers. A unique blend that embodies the raw duende of flamenco, the rhythmic syncopation of West Africa, the modal depth of arabian North Africa and the subtle and playful grooves of South America. Heyes’s lyrics are direct, poetic and political aiming at the global, environmental and social issues we currently face. Above all it is imbued with a sense of urgency and a voice of many cultures. Hold on tight, sit back and enjoy a magic carpet ride across the world. Jono Heyes grew up in an old goldmining village called Livingstone, situated in the foothills of North Otago in the South Island of Aotearoa (New Zealand). When he was seventeen Jono began teaching himself on an old guitar that was gathering dust behind a couch and had only two strings left. Little by little he found his voice and has since added hundreds of sets of strings to his guitar. Over the last 17 years he has crafted his own language drawing from an array of world music cultures, defying any attempts to be placed in one genre. The result is his own unique blend of world music that is an urgent call for ecological, social and cross cultural understanding. In 2007, Jono Bono formed his world music group Mama Yeva in the South Island city of Dunedin and the first of hundreds of gigs was part of the international appeal by Amnesty International for the release of Burmese leader Aung San Suu Kyi. This in many ways set the tone for the group’s focus. For the last 7 years he has performed in Mama Yeva with over 50 different musicians from a dozen or more countries. They have performed at venues and festivals that promote ecological and social justice in New Zealand, Ireland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Heyes's debut album The Fisherboy features the special contribution of Mama Yeva members including: triple Emmy nominee Trevor Coleman, gracing the album with soulful trumpet, melodicas and basslines; Beata Bocek from the Czech Republic singing backing vocals on The Fisherboy; AJ Hickling mastering and backing vocals on No tengo Pais, and Frenchman Edouard Heillbronn playing bass on Hungry Little Dog. | |
