Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | White Fudge | White Fudge was started in Feb, of 2006 by Josh Martinez, Jerry Cass, and Brad Icenhour. The three piece decided to test the product on the road for the next few years. After a great response to their first album " Sex, Drugs, and Whiteboy Hiphop" the three decided to stay in Denver, find some great musicians and begin working on the next album " Colfax of Life." After two grueling years in the studio the album was released and White Fudge has been on the rise ever since. Now performing as an eight piece, the band can rock a party of any size and will leave everyone begging for more. "The People VS. White Fudge" is the groups latest installment of of drugged out party rap. The band continues to write and perform whenever possible. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Julie's Syrup | Disbanded (active from 2014-2017): Julie's Syrup was a rock 'n' roll band from Bozeman, Montana formed in the fall of 2014 and was comprised of originally four (then grew to five) members from the Montana State University school of music technology. The original lineup was Jacob Pickett (rhythm guitar & lead vocals), Jake Williams (lead guitar/bass guitar & backing vocals), Marcus Bendon (drums/percussion), and Jaimie Hensley (keyboards & flute). This lineup released one 4-song demo in 2014. They then locally released their official self-titled EP "Julie's Syrup" in 2015. Soon after that, Bendon left the group to pursue other groups in the local scene and was replaced by Luke Scheeler on drums as well as adding Matt Greyson on bass. The full lineup performed more gigs before releasing the political and pervasive "Pure Gold Filth" in 2017. In April of 2017, Jake Williams left the group to pursue his solo project "Great Grey" full-time and was replaced by Josh McIntyre on lead guitar. The group eventually disbanded later in the summer of 2017. | |

The band performed in prominent venues and events, such as the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona and Plaça del Rei, as part of BAM (Barcelona Acció Musical) in 1998, garnering favourable press coverage in Catalan and Spanish publications, including El País, L'Avui, Mondo Sonoro, and Rock de Lux. The eclectic style of La Más Fina was inspired by the instrumental mesmerising explorations from the Chicago's post-rock band Tortoise, which were creatively combined with other music genres such as tango and bossa nova, among others. La Más Fina was one of the pioneering bands of the post-rock scene in Catalonia and Spain as documented in Ugo Fellone Pérez (2022) "El post-rock en España: genealogía de sus parámetros musicales y discursivos", PhD thesis, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Tary Rebenar | Tary Rebenar was born in Moline, Illinois on July 13, 1940. He moved to Chicago and joined with other musicians creating Barbarossa, a music room of folk songs where he and others performed. He sung the title song to H. G. Lewis's movie "Just For The Hell Of It" in 1968. The song is "Destruction, Inc.". The band that plays with him could be [a=The Faded Blue] according to some sources. The lyrics were written by H. G. Lewis himself. Rebenar released his song "Chicago" on a 1974 private pressing of an album titled "Just a Dream Ago" produced by his private label, Barbarossa. Featuring 12 songs in which Rebenar provided vocals and guitar, "Chicago" was featured as the last song on the A Side of the record. It became the jingle song for the CBS local news. Tary Rebenar died of AIDS from a bad blood transfusion he got when he had surgery for some really bad skin cancer at Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago on November 10, 1990 at the age of 50. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Sean Hicke | A rising talent in San Diego, bassist and composer Sean Hicke quickly found his place in the local jazz scene, frequently playing with several of San Diego’s best and most imaginative musicians. Sean’s bass playing is informed by a musical upbringing that included punk, funk, jazz, musical theater, and classical music. His years of study on saxophone, clarinet, electric bass, and voice give him a melodic approach and a holistic perspective of music that he takes with him every time he plays the upright bass. An avid composer, it did not take long for Sean to develop a unique compositional voice. His original music builds upon the tradition of creative improvisatory music and is characterized by the juxtaposition of folk-like melodies with adventurous harmonic soundscapes. Sean recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in jazz studies from San Diego State University. He maintains a small private studio and can be found playing at many of San Diego’s beloved jazz venues every week. His debut album, Sunflower Sutra, was released on January 6, 2019. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Spielman In Bad Company | »Spielman In Bad Company« fortunately for us! Because in the bleak alleys of the morbid music industry the four country boys cook up a mean stew of music: The soul of the blues apparently survived the apocalypse and shines here in full splendor, spiced with noisy elements from the worlds of electronic and hip hop and everything else picked up along the way. Quirky and full of respect for the old masters of the genre, the quartet has redefined this tradition-steeped music. Because with all the hard-earned life-experience they’ve accumulated they hammer a completely new pulse into the blues in countless jams. Undisguised, gripping — let’s call it neoblues. Ron Spielman has been highly regarded for decades by those in the know for his guitar playing and excellent songwriting. With his new sidekicks Uwe Breunig and Joh Weisgerber (both of „The Ruffcats“) and Werner Goldbach he’s brought himself into bad company. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Tong Yan Lu | Tong Yan Lu | Tong Yan Lu (born January 17, 1975, in Wuhan, China) is a musician, producer, and label founder primarily associated with the black metal and experimental occult music scenes. Early Career In the late 1990s, Tong developed the experimental project Caos em Wuhan, which incorporated elements of noise, industrial sound design, and ritualistic composition. The project functioned as his initial platform for exploring sonic abstraction and thematic approaches connected to chaos theory, urban decay, and esoteric symbolism. Relocation to Norway and Involvement in Black Metal In the early 2000s, Tong relocated to Norway, where he became directly involved in the black metal underground. His integration into local circles coincided with a period of stylistic diversification in the genre, with increasing emphasis on ambient and avant-garde influences. Within this environment, Tong established himself as both a performer and a conceptual contributor. Kult Of Nocthyl (2000s–2014) Tong became a member of the black metal band Kult Of Nocthyl, contributing until 2014. His role encompassed compositional development, conceptual structuring, and the integration of occult and cosmological themes into the band’s output. His tenure is regarded as a significant phase in the group’s evolution, marked by the fusion of atmospheric black metal aesthetics with ritualistic performance practices. Kalicosma Records (2012–present) In 2012, Tong founded Kalicosma Records, an independent label specializing in black metal, dark ambient, and ritual/occult-oriented projects. The label has been recognized for releasing works that emphasize aesthetic coherence, esoteric thematics, and experimental production values. Through Kalicosma, Tong has positioned himself as both a curator and facilitator for artists operating in extreme and avant-garde subgenres. Legacy and Influence After departing Kult Of Nocthyl, Tong has remained active in production, curation, and international underground networking. His body of work reflects a sustained engagement with occult philosophy, transgressive art forms, and the expansion of black metal into interdisciplinary contexts. |
