Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Bel disco davvero." Vinile | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Asklepeion | Asklepeion is a Melodic Black Metal with a 90’s but also a modern vibe from Tilburg (The Netherlands). The band was formed in 2021 by Thijs (Welmoed, Misanthropia) and Robster (ex-Southern Werewolf Farm). William (FAAL, Spina Bifida, 666 Shades of Shit, ex-Foretold, ex-Domestic Violence) joined them on the project. The Asklepeion project was born in the beginning of 2021 when Thijs and Robster had the idea to start a musical project to keep themselves busy during the pandemic. They write some songs, record them at home and release an EP. Both fans of 90’s (melodic) Black Metal, the songwriting quickly went that way and the decision was made to stick with it and make an album full of Melodic Black Metal with a 90’s but also a modern vibe. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Jürgen Ahrend | Jürgen Ahrend (28 April 1930, Göttingen, Prussia — 1 August 2024, Leer, Germany) was a German organ builder and restorer. He worked in a partnership with [a=Gerhard Brunzema] between 1954 and 1972, before establishing a private workshop, "Jürgen Ahrend Orgelbau," which he directed from 1972 to 2004. After Jürgen's retirement in 2005, his son, Hendrik Ahrend (b. 1963), took over the company. Ahrend apprenticed with [a4194174] (1946 to 1948), and later was employed at his workshop. Together with one of Ott's fellow students, Gerhard Brunzema, Jürgen traveled across Europe, serving as journeymen for such prolific workshops as [a=Metzler Orgelbau] in Switzerland, Flentrop in the Netherlands, and [a=Marcussen & Søn] in Denmark. In 1954, they established a joint partnership, Ahrend & Brunzema, with a workshop in Leer-Loga, Lower Saxony. Over the next 18 years, Jürgen and Gerhard built over 50 organs and restored 20 antique instruments. In 1972, Brunzema quit the firm and relocated to Canada; Ahrend continued building and restoring instruments under his new "Jürgen Ahrend Orgelbau" firm. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Karizmata | While Cincinnati's Indie and Garage Rock acts continue to get the lion's share of the national spotlight, there are still quite a few straight-ahead Hard Rock bands in town, and Karizmata is among the best. The band shows off its songwriting and musical chops on its self-titled debut, a collection of 10 tracks that range from full-throttle to hushed balladry. The songs are melodic, tasteful and concise without a hint of pretension. Each cut is a radio-ready nugget, but most possess qualities that lift them above generic Post-Grunge repeats. The tasty guitar leads and solos, courtesy of Rob Chafe and Pat McGregor, morph and layer to keep the tunes interesting, allowing tracks like "In Between" and "Access Denied" to grow beyond pedestrian chugging. Bassist Kurt Auer gets into the act as well, pounding out a fat pulse on "Find A Way" and even soloing over the bridge. Another consistent feature of Karizmata's sound is the liberal use of syncopation and cross-rhythms, frequently taking the band close to AltMetal territory (such as on "Signs"). Yet they never miss the opportunity to stick a soaring chorus in there, thanks in large measure to Billy Kissinger's powerful voice. Nimble and pitch-perfect, he shines whether he's belting out his lyrics like each word might be his last ("Live It Down" and "Signs") or opting for a softer delivery ("Three Words" and "Next In Line"). As a bonus, he deals with emotional themes without being trite, whiny or posing. The recording and mixing quality is excellent (the disc was self-produced), offering a hard-hitting sound that is refined but not too polished and would be right at home on the Rock-end of the radio dial.Karizmata was featured on a WEBN/Bud True Music compilation a few years ago and this gem is sure to garner even more attention. | Search | Add | 2 | Flex Lavender | Shortlived indie rock / emo band from Oberlin, Ohio, that formed in late 1994 and consisted of Jen Adam (guitar, vocals, songwriter), Quentin Rowan (bass, vocals) and Dave Lerner (drums). All three went to Oberlin College. In 1994, Jen and Dave (bassist of then-recently-broken-up [a313218]) were both traveling on the same plane from NYC to Cleveland to attend the first year, and noticed each other as they both had Fender guitar cases. During the first semester, Quentin made a flyer at the school saying he plays bass and wants to join a band, citing MBV and VU as influences. Both noticed it, and thus Flex Lavender was born. Their name seems to come from the wrestler Flex Lavender. In an interview with their college paper, Jen says the name came up as they were talking about stage names. Dave says during the interview that the name is actually Jen's stage name. They recorded a 4-track demo tape (fully lost media), and recorded the first 2 songs off of it for their 7". The 2 other songs on the demo, Untitled #1 and Untitled #2, were also recorded during the 7" sessions (these versions are available on Youtube). They practiced at the college in a space reserved for students. They played around a dozen shows in Oberlin, and their only one outside Ohio was in Philadelphia at the First Unitarian Church with [a262399]. Known venues where they played are: the basement of Harkness (presumably the residential hall at the college), and the 'Sco and Finney Chapel (also at their college). Dave doesn't think their shows were recorded at all. Their sets were 8-10 songs long (originals), usually with a [a83082] cover. These other songs are currently lost. The band is also mentioned in a 1997 article of the same newspaper. The band still existed in October of 1995, as indicated by the same interview. Likely, they disbanded sometime in 1996. Jen and Quentin afterwards formed [a2489263], while Dave then played in [a422415]. Today, Dave plays in the folk rock band [a3204443], where he can be contacted. Jen has taken up front-end web design (site), while Quentin became a (disgraced) writer. | |
