Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Ernie Terrell | Ernest "Ernie" Terrell | Ernei Terrell (April 4, 1939 – December 16, 2014) in Belzoni, Mississippi, was a 20th century American professional boxer who competed from 1957 to 1973. Terrell began boxing professionally in 1957 and simultaneously launched a popular singing group in Chicago with his sister, [a763718], who later replaced Diana Ross with the Supremes. During his first year of boxing, he won all five of his fights, knocking out three of his opponents. He continued to excel, winning fight after fight over the next several years. Terrell also continued to perform with his musical group, Ernie Terrell and the Heavyweights. After the World Boxing Association stripped Muhammad Ali of his title as heavyweight champion in 1965, Terrell finally got a chance for the label. He defeated Eddie Machen for the vacant title and retained it until February 6, 1967. That day, he fought in his most famous match against [a669210] in Houston, Texas and lost after 15 grueling rounds. Ali, who had changed his name from Cassius Clay after converting to Islam, took offense to Terrell using his "slave name" and repeatedly shouted, "What's my name?" throughout the match. Terrell lost his two remaining fights that year and announced his retirement in December. However, he returned to the ring two years later, beating Sonny Moore on December 15 in 10 rounds. Terrell continued to win his matches, and on June 23, 1973, he earned another shot at becoming a heavyweight champion. However, Chuck Wepner defeated him in 12 rounds in an extremely controversial decision. Terrell boxed in his last fight on September 23 of that year. After retiring permanently from boxing, Terrell became a music producer in Chicago. Terrell also had a brief stint in politics when he lost the 1987 election for alderman of Chicago's 34th ward. In October of 2004, he was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame. |

Search | Add | 2 | Todd Resnick | After performing on the turn tables for years locally in Los Angeles, Todd secured a position at 20th Century Fox Film in1994 as a sound effects editor working on films such as The X-Files, Brokedown Palace, There’s Something About Mary and others, where he learned many useful skills to progress technically and musically. His continued passion for studio life lead him and current partner Jesse Brooks to purchase the old Beastie Boys’ studio in Atwater Village, CA where the two quickly collaborated with famed San Francisco duo DJ Dave Coleman and Sen-Sei to develop The Atwater Syndicate. With numerous vinyl releases on Kinetic Grooves and a double pack release on Deep Dish’s prestigious label, Yoshitoshi Recordings due out in October 2003, and a track on the new Global Underground Toronto 4 CD package, he’ll most certainly be recognized for his skills in producing, and engineering. In addition, Todd works at the world renowned Cello Studios in Hollywood, CA alongside the likes of artists such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Muse, and The Mars Volta. He has also been a long time consultant for Emagic’s Logic Software teaching such musical icons as Eric Clapton, Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman (Prince and the Revolution and Scoring duo from Crossing Jordan). Todd has been considered a pioneer with his teaching methods and has been hired by the Musician’s Institute of Los Angeles, not only to develop a teaching curriculum for the University, but also to introduce electronic music as a core genre within the University’s teachings.

Search | Add | 2 | Enrique Urbano Tenorio | Saxophonist and bandleader of [a=Peregoyo Y Su Combo Vacaná], nicknamed "Peregoyo". One of the most prolific and versatile composers and musicians of the Colombian Pacific Coast, known as the "King of Currulao". He was born in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) on January 10th, 1917 and died on October 18th, 2007 in the city of Cali. After learning to play the clarinet and saxophone he founded his first band called Orquesta Bahía, with which he played boleros and other Caribbean rhythms. Later, in 1962, he founded [a=Peregoyo Y Su Combo Vacaná], a band which received national and international renown. The musicians of the band came from the Colombian departments of Valle del Cauca, Nariño, and Cauca. Enrique Urbano Tenorio is considered the "[a=Lucho Bermudez] of the Pacific" because he was a musician (clarinetist and saxophonist like Bermudez) who brought the folk music of the Pacific region to the upscale salons and dance clubs. He recorded in various traditional Pacific music genres like currulao, abozao, aguabajo, jota chocoana, arrullo, and others.
