Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Lunar Seas | Lunar Seas are large, dark, basaltic plains on Earth's Moon, formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. They were dubbed "seas", by early astronomers who mistook them for actual seas. They are less reflective than the "highlands" as a result of their iron-rich composition, and hence appear dark to the naked eye. The project of Moscow based artist P.Mkhlv represents his experiments with acoustic and electronic sound sources in field of landscape, cinematic, adorably dark and slow-motion sides of music.

Search | Add | 2 | Adobe Coyote | A studio project of Jim Konya from the early 90's. The lineup of Nunslaughter at the time recorded these songs without Don of the Dead as a 3 piece. Largely improv, this recording set the bar for Jim's lunacy, and was never released until after his untimely death. A wonderful cross between Schnauzer and Minch and Nunslaughter.

Search | Add | 2 | Brandon Kellum | Brandon Kellum | Brandon Kellum (born November 1, 1985), is an American musician, author and philanthropist from Phoenix, Arizona best known as the vocalist of the metalcore band American Standards. He is characterized for his charismatic live performances and philosophical lyrical content. He is an advocate for local artists, businesses and charitable causes. Early life and education Kellum was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Trevor G. Browne High School and later Arizona State University. He works as a business consultant for a fortune 500 company. Musical career Vera Lynne/Movie script ending He began his musical career in 2002 as the guitarist for the post hardcore band Vera Lynne which originally performed under the name Movie Script Ending. Vera Lynne was the first of many Monster Energy sponsored artists that went on to play the Vans Warped Tour and play tour dates with bands such as It Dies Today, Still Remains, The Used, As Cities Burn and Avenged Sevenfold. The group disbanded in 2007 after releasing one EP and one LP. The Hostage Situation After disbanding, Brandon formed the southern metal band The Hostage Situation assuming the position of vocals. The band had a tongue in cheek demeanor and was known for its high energy live shows. After releasing the LP "When I Say Go..." and touring in support of it, Hostage called it quits in 2010. American Standards In 2011 Brandon joined American Standards. American Standards was when Kellum started incorporating sociopolitical views into his lyrics which included satire and social commentary. This quality found him as a guest on several media outlets. American Standards has label backing and distribution through Victory Records and has shared the stage with several bands that Kellum has cited as influences, such as; Every Time I Die, Zao, The Chariot, Refused, Comeback Kid, Atreyu and Emery. Heart Shaped Canvas During this time Kellum founded Heart Shaped Canvas, a nonprofit organization that acts as a collective of artists using their art to raise funds and awareness for the causes they believe in. Through Heart Shaped Canvas, he has hosted benefit shows and released compilation albums supporting organizations such as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Teen Lifeline, Halo Animal Rescue and the American Cancer Society. Side projects In 2014 Brandon joined Your Young as the bassist, touring, recording and opening for bands such as Converge, Glassjaw and Norma Jean. He is seen playing on the music video for the song 'The Sad, Sad Stories of Sadder Men'. Family He has an older brother named Joe Kellum and mother, Melissa Kellum. His father and grandparents passed of cancer in 2015. |

Search | Add | 2 | Vhod | VHOD was conceived by sole member Chris Shaver in January 2014. VHOD is essentially a merging of Chris's past projects [a=Godcursed], [a=Morbid Darkness] and WORMS OF THE BIRTH. Though those projects are now defunct and will no longer be active, VHOD will continue the musical and conceptual itinerary of those projects as well as introduce newer and more progressive elements. Because the sum of its parts would suggest a few different styles, both musically and vocally, VHOD will be a blending of those different styles and technically will be considered an Experimental Death Metal act.

Search | Add | 2 | NUOWO | Krisztián Sárközi | NUOWO is an electronic/techno mostly, but not exclusively a LIVE ACT project. He migrated from a Rock and Jazz background, had many bands in the past where he had the role of the guitarist/composer. After a while of being a live musician, his love for music got even more intense and he discovered electronic music such as Tosca, Trentemoller, Minilogue, David August, Mathew Jonson, Aphex Twin, Infected Mushroom...which influenced his choice to try to explore musically other genres. He started to taste the sonic freedom that the electronic music could offer for his self-expression, therefore he decided to start his current project under the alias NUOWO, where he is implements the motif of liveness in the electronic world, spicing his music up with real-time instruments, effects and lots of improvisation during the live acts. His musical style might be difficult to define and pointless to limit, but in general his tracks fluctuate between Techno, Acid, Electro and Psychedelic. The official song releases are glimpses from the artist and human day-by-day life, which are eternalized with the intention of pleasing the ears of the listeners whilst inspiring everyone towards a better and a joyful life. The goal is to free the mind of its burdens by music and dance while exploring the infinite possibilities of sound creation. |

Search | Add | 2 | Xantos Jorge | Latin rock foursome from Panama Xantos Jorge was formed in the early '90s by Carlos Ivan Zúñiga, Jesús Caballero, and Iñaki Iriberri, later joined by bassist Jorge Camacho. The band started playing under the name of Círculo Vicioso. After the group's name was changed to Xantos Jorge, based on the Panamanian anthem composer, the four musicians began recording their debut album, called "¡Salva la Tierra!". Unfortunately, while the band was getting ready to release that album, Jorge Camacho passed away. Nevertheless, the remaining members decided to go ahead, honoring Camacho's contribution. On December 27, 1994, the album was released, followed by a tour around the country after bass player Juan Ferrufino joined the act. In 1995, their song "Lágrimas de Sangre" hit local charts and its video started to be rotated by MTV Latino. When Ferrufino decided to leave, Carlos Ucar took his place. In 1996, Xantos Jorge signed up to Sony Music, issuing a special limited edition of "¡Salva la Tierra!", which included "Una Canción Mas" and "Viajando en el Tiempo." In 1998, the band returned to the recording sessions, releasing "En Otro Sol", produced by [a=Evan Rodaniche], in the year 2000.
