Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Originally, many of the musicians had been associated with [a341395], but the orchestra underwent several personnel overhauls over the years. The orchestra was led by [a6260751], who alternated between conducting and performing on the piano. Throughout the 1920s, the orchestra broadcast over several Chicao radio stations, including WGN, WMAQ and the Trianon's own WMBB. In 1924 they performed in Davenport, IA and became the highest paid orchestra to ever play that city.

| Search | Add | 2 | The Von Erich Suicide Mission | Officially you could say this band started in Brooklyn, NY. It’s where Shane and Bryan met, where they held their first practices and played their first shows. While they got together in Brooklyn, they got together because of Denton, TX. Before Williamsburg was young and hip, a group of artists from Denton were attracted there by cheap rent and a warehouse space. Parallel to this, Bryan and Shane were on separate paths criss crossing the country. Shane settled in Brooklyn and met the Dentonites. Bryan begrudgingly settled in New Jersey, but would get out to Brooklyn for a show or to meet his Denton buddies from time to time. On one of these trips Shane and Bryan discussed the important things in life, which consisted mostly of music and things related to music. Thus was the birth of the Von Erich Suicide Mission. Two like minded drifters brought together by a little known town 2000 miles away. …and then there’s Young Squire. Not to be a footnote, because this wouldn’t have started without a drummer. Squire claims that he was born in Texas, but he was raised in New Jersey. He found Bryan’s home recordings on a website Bryan set up and offered to play drums. Upon meeting, Bryan noticed a number of red flags. Squire was a bird watcher, a volunteer fireman, played hockey and claimed to be an architect even though he was only 20 at the time. The main concern was his earlier involvement in backyard wrestling – there may even be video evidence of this. Still, Bryan allowed him a chance because he chewed the same tobacco and cheered for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. The home recordings would lay the foundation for VESM. Songs about the life and times of a rough and tumble wrestling family from Texas set to a creep rock sound track. Oh, and occasional songs about nachos, cars and girls. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Rusty Cleavers | The Rusty Cleavers are a group of four weirdos with a shared love of bluegrass, punk, jazz, funk, and whatever Tom Waits is. Luke is a stay-at-home dad with a 7-year degree in percussion performance who SLAYS the washboard and 4-string guitar. Kevin is an elementary music school teacher and garlic enthusiast who SHREDS the mandolin and 6-string guitar. Zach would rather be pushing a slab of oak through his ban saw than talking to you and he MURDERS the bass. Forest is a music therapist at Washington’s largest psychiatric hospital who PICKS the banjo. When these four odd-balls get together, their voices combine for sometimes gruff, sometimes sweet harmonies on songs about lust misuse, trust issues, and dying young. Their instruments create a twangy cacophonous orchestra of metal and wood that has been bringing audiences to a compassionate frenzy at hundreds of performances across the Pacific Northwest for the past decade. This is not your backwards grandpa’s or creepy uncle’s redneck bluegrass. This is queer-loving, Black Lives Matter proclaiming, progressive pickin’ from the heart of Tacoma. | |

He was director of public service (1959-72) for CFPL-TV, London, Ont. During his radio years he was host for the CBC record programs 'Audio,' 'Den of Antiquity,' and 'Roll Back the Years.' Like-minded Serbian accordion player [url=http://www.nikolazaric.com/de/nikola-zaric//]Nicola Zarić[/url], known for his virtuoso style bursting with energy, hit it off with experienced and versatile clarinet player [url=http://www.franzoberthaler.com/]Franz Oberthaler[/url], well known for his highly varied compositions and large range of nuances. Fully in line with the model of the famous Brazilian bohemian quarter and melting pot Vila Madalena, the music of this ensemble is a mixture of powerful melodies played by a virtuoso and exuberantly on the one hand, but on the other hand also reminds you of the very tender, fragile and charming sound almost resembling chamber music fuelled by the rhythmic and harmonious diversity of the boundless musical treasure of countries most distant from each other.

| Search | Add | 2 | Harold L. Paulsen | February 21, 1917 – August 1, 2015 "Harold L. Paulsen, a well known insurance and investment representative, popular singer and speaker, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. He packed a lot into his 98 years of life. Harold joined the Army in 1941. Two years later, he was accepted to Officer Candidate School and received his commission as an Air Force Statistical Officer from Harvard School of Business Administration. He served with the 8th Air Force in England for 28 months and was discharged in December 1945 with the rank of Captain. Harold was devoted to his Lord and church. As a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, where he was confirmed, he led the building of the new church as the building committee chair. There he served as Sunday School Superintendent for five years, provided his musical talent and “filled” the church pulpits on several occasions in the pastor’s absence. Those who have attended the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast since it started in the early 1960’s were treated to Harold’s speaking and singing. Harold did a lot for a lot of people, but will remembered most for his terrific singing. He also sang for most of the Montana Governors during his lifetime, commencing with Governor John E. Erickson. One of his most memorable highlights was as a soloist for the 8th Air Force Glee Club in the Nuremberg Opera House in Germany at the end of WWII. He once shared the stage with the late Norman Vincent Peale." from helenafuneralhome.com | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Band Of The Vintage Jazz Society Of Brisbane. | One of Australia’s best traditional jazz bands was formed in Brisbane in 1973 by saxophonist Andy Jenner (b. 12 July 1943, Cheshire, England). In March 1974 the band formed the Vintage Jazz Society of Brisbane and operated successfully at the Twelfth Night Theatre Club for six years. In 1981 the band opened their own jazz club, Jabbo’s, in Brisbane. The Vintage Jazz And Blues Band’s success peaked in the mid-80s when the essential line-up was Tich Bray (b. 22 December 1924, Geelong, Victoria, Australia, d. 1988) who replaced Jenner, John Braben, Mike Hawthorne, Bob Watson (drums), John Cox (banjo), and Paula Cox (vocals). The Vintage Jazz And Blues Band was one of Australia’s most durable groups in the traditional jazz genre. Performing classic early jazz and blues with feeling and authenticity, it was never less than inspiring and was often dynamic | |

While relying on synthetic instruments, [a5578795] creates an organic sound, as human as possible, without the desperate need for striking or blunt sounds. Tracks by [a5578795] feature large, open spaces, put into contrast with almost intimate atmospheres, always carrying the groove on to dance the night away. This philosophy is mirrored by [a5578795]s DJ sets which he proved in major clubs like Tresor.
