Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 6 | SpaceLazerz | Progressive chiptune band, started as a solo project, but eventually became a band, with the members meeting through various online forums. The band released "Fight the Power" through I'm Jeff Records, before leaving the label, to self-release their debut album, "Supernova". Several members left, after the creation of Supernova, including founder, Helios. As a result, the band went on hiatus from September 2015 to January 2016. After releasing their second EP, "Reset;Acceleration", the band split until early 2017, reforming with a new line-up, and switching to a post-hardcore/progressive rock sound. They released their third EP, "Lifeline" in February 2017, with a second album expected to release in late 2017.

Search | Add | 6 | Jetter Green | Jetter Green | Jetter Green, 36, a San Diego native has been surrounded and intrigued by art for as long as he can remember. His father, an entrepreneur and architectural designer, and his mother, a calligrapher and avid crafter, contributed to Jetter’s creative spark being kindled at an early age. In high school, artistic visions merged with technology, and his passion ignited. Jetter earned a BA in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of California. He then accepted a position at a print house in Encinitas where he began to hone his skills in print and color theory. Three years later, feeling a desire to be challenged creatively, Jetter sought a design position at a local creative agency. His encounter with the demands, needs and challenges of a larger clientele prompted a natural segue into the realm of web design. A year later, stifled by the politics of the industry and yearning for greater creative license, Jetter made the decision to go freelance. In early 2007, using his own entrepreneurial spirit and joining with a close designer friend, Outlier Creative, a think tank for cutting edge design, was born. The company works exclusively via their website and has an impressive list of domestic and international clientele. Three years later, Jetter’s perpetual “itch” for something new and different led him to explore new outlets for his creative urges. In 2009, while attending Burning Man and Lightning in the Bottle, Jetter’s alternative vision and creativity were inspired, and he finally began to create art for himself that would heal, expand, and explore the life experience. Always drawn to the concept of math as a universal language, the complex patterns found in nature, vivid colors, energetic properties and the infinite space within each of us, he turned to those elements as inspiration to create artwork that is not premeditated but instead evolves from the free flow of consciousness. |

Four male singers, accompanied by electric guitars, percussion and accordion, they were one of the first "Beatle-esque" groups from Canada. The accordion has a special place and preserves a traditional flavour in dance pieces such as waltzes, tangos, rhumbas, fox-trots, hopaks and other Ukrainian dances. The more contemporary pieces in the Anglo-American style are dominated by guitars and percussion. The tonality of the voices is anglicized, yet the harmony remains traditional and the tempos, dynamic and rapid. Finally, the rhythmic effects are emphasized by accentuated off-beat rhythms. The group released 5 albums. Andrij Harasymowycz - Vocals, Guitar Ewhen Osidacz - Accordion George Sztyk - Bass Stepan Andrusiak - Drums |

Search | Add | 6 | Буря | «BURYA», storm in Ukrainian, came into existence, around 1970 as a four piece band. Until 1979 it has expanded to 7 members, all from the Toronto area. The highly skilled musical talent of BURYA has provided entertainment to audiences of all manner of functions — weddings, dances, bar mitzvahs and festivals. The band is unique in its versatility and arrangements. It is equally at home with waltzes and polkas,as it is with rock, disco, latin and swing. Its music is enjoyed by both young and old. The band likes to play requests and is noted for providing its audiences with an exciting evening of entertainment. Perhaps you may detect a Prairie flavour in the music. Ron Cahute, the leader and accordionist started his musical career at an early age as a drummer in the band of his late father, Maurice Cahute. It was from this experience that Ron acquired a love and appreciation of Ukrainian music of the Prairie Provinces of Canada. This music in the early years of Ukrainian western settlement of Canada was left to develope on its own, almost completely severed from ties with Ukraine and provides an interesting annal in musical history. It is both Ukrainian and Canadian. Although this record has a Prairie flavour, it is not exclusively so. The music it contains includes the variety and talent that is BURYA. 1979 line-up: Ron Cahute – Leader, accordion, bass, organ, synthesizer, vocals Jaroslaw Hryhorsky – violin, viola Len Steciuk – guitar, violin, vocals David Monis – percussion Ron Lutz – saxophone Mike Romanick – clarinet, saxophone Tom Romanick – saxophone

Search | Add | 6 | Guy Blakeman | Guy Jasper Blakeman | Guy Blakeman (1911-1992). Born in Metcalfe County, Kentucky, and learned to play the fiddle at a young age. In 1927, he came to Cincinnati to work in a factory. When the Depression hit in 1929, he lost his job but was able to get a job playing fiddle on WCKY with a group called the Bluegrass Serenaders (the name referred to the state of Kentucky, as bluegrass music had not yet been invented). In the 1930s, with Roland Gaines and Jerry Behrens, he was a member of the Range Riders, a group that moved back and forth between WCKY and KMOX in St. Louis, eventually landing at Renfro Valley, Kentucky in 1940. There, John Lair changed their name to the Mountain Rangers. Blakeman was in various groups over the years, including the Prairie Ramblers at WLW on the Midwestern Hayride in 1950. He participated in at least one of Larry Sunbrock’s infamous fiddle contests, this one at the Carthage Fairgrounds in Cincinnati in 1945, where he competed against Clayton McMichen, Natchee the Indian, and Fiddling Red Herron. He was the National Fiddling Champion in 1952, which he capitalized upon by recording two 78 rpm records on Cincinnati’s Gateway label in that year and one on the unlikely Chess label using the old Bluegrass Serenaders name. In 1979, he participated on an LP which honored Cincinnati area traditional musicians. In 1982, he put out an EP of fiddle tunes on the Musique label in Loveland. He was around the Cincinnati area for many years and had an influence on country and bluegrass fiddlers who came after him. |

In 2023, Desmotis started to make songs in a new direction, changing the all hip hop style to mixed type songs, like rock hip hop, pop/country hip hop, and even a pop rock song, without many hip hop influences. He tries to expand his music in every way he feels right for each song. The future seems bright.
Search | Add | 6 | Aaron Deponce | Aaron Hilliard | Singer, Songwriter & Entertainer, Aaron Deponce, is making his presence felt in the music industry with his smooth, sultry voice and high energy-packed performances. DePonce is a gifted, innovative, and influential music figure who started singing at the age of 5 in Indianapolis, Indiana. At age 16, his singing talents soon became obvious to industry heavy hitters, Darryl Simmons, Kenneth "Baby Face "Edmonds, and Antonio "L.A. "Reid. In 1992, they quickly signed him to Laface Records as a member of the R&B group, "A FEW GOOD MEN". The group first appeared on The LaFace Family Christmas album in 1993 singing their very own rendition of "Silver Bells", which still to date is played in heavy rotation, getting us in the Christmas spirit each and every year. The group's debut album, "Take a Dip", featured two successful singles 'Tonite' and 'Have I Never.' The Babyface produced, 'Have I Never', was the group's biggest success, reaching #32 on the R&B charts and #76 on the Hot 100. The Dallas Austin produced, 'Tonite', managed to reach #44 on the R&B charts. Unfortunately, due to front office reconstruction at the record label, their project didn't receive the necessary support it needed. In 1997 the group disbanded, and in 1999 DePonce signed to an independent recording label, Imperium Records, in Miami, Florida. His solo debut album, "From My Window", which spawned the songs "Just The Way You Are", and "Tight-Tight", opened his eyes to all the benefits of controlling his vision and reaping the many rewards of doing so. After a successful solo debut, DePonce decided to take his career in his own hands and create NEW MERGE, Inc., which released the labels first album, "Devotion", in 2005. Aaron Deponce then realized that by using the power of internet sales with networks such as MySpace & CD Baby, he could connect with distribution companies in other countries. His music began to reach audiences as far as Japan, Europe and Africa. In 2007, while in Atlanta, Georgia working with other recording artists signed to Usher Raymond's manager, J.Pat, he gained the attention of Terrence"T-Low"Brown & Robert"RL"Huggar, both members of the Multi Platinum R&B Trio "NEXT". With the third member no longer a part of the group, DePonce was given the opportunity to fill that void. Touring and eventually recording with "NEXT", he never stopped perfecting his craft as a solo artist. Because of his driven personality, and his strong desire to succeed, he wasted no time in recording his new album, "HEREAFTER", set to be released Aug 18, 2011. His resume of career achievements not only includes singing, songwriting, and production, but he also possesses extensive knowledge and experience in sales, marketing and promotions. Aaron Deponce's wide variety of talents and gifts has enabled him to reinvent himself and stay relevant in today's music industry. |

Search | Add | 6 | Earth-Wheel-Sky-Band | Earth-Wheel-Sky Band | After almost 40 years on stage, legendary figure of musical scene in Novi Sad, Olah Vince is stepping big step forward, with his band. Basic instrumentation, guitar, violin, cymbalom, doublebass, percussions, voice, no electronic gadgets or keyboards, simple, but pleasurable indeed. Even "India" is involved. Or the old song from Southern Serbia, re-arranged, but with maestro Boban Markovic on trumpet. Expression is everything, they know how to slow down or lift you up. While Vince had his own bands for ages or collaborated with many local musicians (currently he is a member of Boris Kovac's LaDaABa Orchest), some of his band members performed with Lajko Felix and some also with their own bands. Region of Serbia where they are living, called Vojvodina is part of Panonia, where influences are so mixed, and them, being Gypsies can make something creative out of that. Olah Vince, the Gypsy activist, is not satisfied to live one life, he is helping others, trying to establish Gypsy radio in Novi Sad, but he cannot live without playing music. Are we not all Gypsies? Listen to this music, dance, shout be Gypsy, be free. |

Search | Add | 6 | Toninho Almeida | Toninho Almeida | Multi-instrumentalist author/composer born in Euclide Da Cunha, a small town in Bahia, Brazil, Toninho Almeida has had a passion for artistic expression from a very young age. He arrived in Rio at the age of 17 and was struck by the urban cultural melting pot he discovered - an artist was born! He proved to be an impulsive poet, a versatile actor and a prolific, self-taught guitarist. Next stop Sao Paulo where the decadence of the dictatorship heralds a cultural scene seething with excitement, freedom and consciousness-raising. He publishes poems and goes from one poetry, theatrical and musical scene to another with his compositions. He is opening act for, among others, Gilberto Gil. He reinforces his musical gifts through a rigorous apprenticeship and becomes a professor at the Contemporary Music Academy of Bahia. He flies off to France in 1990 - first Paris, then Lille. He teaches dance, guitar and percussion and, at the same time, starts up numerous musical projects and goes on several tours inspired by the recording of two albums: Violette 41 and Mitade. Five years go by during which Toninho decides to get back to his cultural roots and Brazilian standards (forro, traditional Afro-Brazilian music, pagoda. . . .) From this arises the creation of projects such as Samba de Bamba and Forro Pitu. Filled with renewed energy with a new album in the works Deu Forro No Samba, he reinterprets his own music. Above all, he presents his latest compositions, a new group, new inspiration. Often on the road, Toninho has already performed at: L'Aéronef (Lille) La Barraca Zem (Lille) La Gare Saint-Sauveur (Lille) Le Centre Culturel Guy Gambu (Saint-Marcel) Le Centre Culturel Daniel Balavoine (Arques) Le P'tit Bal Perdu (Paris) Festival Forró Lille Forró Festival Cologne Journées des Danses d'Amérique Latine (Limoges) Festival des Mondes Pluriels (Grande-Synthe) Festival Zum Zum Zum (Londres) Festival Angoleiros do Mar (Paris) Bal à Fives (Lille) Festival Musiques de Traverse (Lille, Roubaix, Saint-Amand) Wazemmes l'accordéon (Lille) Roubaix Accordéon (Roubaix) Deûle en Fête (Lille) |
