Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | The Legitimate Excuse | The Legitimate Excuse (TLE), TLE was formed in 2001 in Pennsylvania by me and my great friend Nick Onorato. After recording an EP "Always The Last To Know" and an LP "For Reasons Left Unsaid" on our own in a storage shed, we decided to move the band to Baltimore, Maryland where bassist Phil Sweeney and drummer Kris Gobeil hopped on board. In the summer of 2002 we drove down to Florida and entered our first real studio where we recorded the full length record "Pathetic, Ordinary" (which is where the Alesana song title derived from. It was my way of paying tribute to TLE). After playing shows for over a year, Patrick Thompson (guitarist of Alesana and my co-writer for the last 9 years) joined the band where he actually played his first ever rock show. Not too long after, the members of TLE parted ways, some to finish college, others to start new projects. | Search | Add | 4 | Sen-Sei | Nathan Uhlir | Sen-Sei, a native to Brooklyn ,N.Y., started his musical career at age five. After 13 years of studying classical music, Sen-Sei had mastered the finer elements of piano playing. A demonstration of his musical talent was seen at Carnegie Hall in 1989. In the following two years, Sen-Sei found himself in and out of bands that ranged in funk, jazz, and top 40 of the time. Problem was, he couldn’t find the type of music that really moved him. After relocating to San Francisco in 1991, Sen-Sei experienced his first underground house party, dancing to the beats of DJ’s Dutch, Carlos, and MoonPup. From that moment on, it was clear that dance music was the true love for Sen-Sei. Sen-Sei's ingenious talent lies in his ability to take electronic music production out of the sterile recording studio and into the lives of the fans by creating the music real-time, on-stage. He has teamed with well-known DJs world-wide to create a cutting-edge infusion of sound. When he is not performing, Sen-Sei is creating music for CD, vinyl, television, and movie. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Suicide Blitz | Short-lived project band based in Stockholm, Sweden. The origins of the band stem from an idea generated during correspondence between [a2373773] and [a740907] sometime in 2003, in which the two discussed starting a band. [a3418215] and [a1649155] from the bands [a262012] and [a650754] were enlisted, as was drummer [a652681] from Swedish band [a594752]. It wasn't until Kelly came to Stockholm in January of 2004 that the group met and had their initial practices in Stockholm's Slussen neighborhood. The band practiced and wrote at an intense pace during the next couple of weeks, and recorded their full-length LP at the end of the month. [a568018] ([a313397], [a277263], [a1046451] and many others) was initially brought in solely in the role of producer / engineer, but the band convinced him to lay down some guitar tracks, and, with the departure of Jocke due to a busy schedule, he became the bands' lead guitar player. Despite a lot of technical setbacks and logistical difficulties Suicide Blitz managed to complete the recordings and the LP came out in late 2004 on Germany's Hate records. CD and cassette versions were released as well, on Polish label Trująca Fala. During the band's short existence, they managed to play four live gigs in 2004: In Sandviken, Sweden on January 30, at the Umeå Punk Fest in Umeå, Sweden, on March 5, at the K-Town Festival in Copenhagen, Denmark, on June 25th, and at the Kopi in Berlin, Germany, on June 26th. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Diversion Voice | Sometimes to make something new appear a number of factors, which have covered an accidentally emerged in the space route, should meet in one point and form a single unit with its new independent qualities. "Diversion Voice" group was formed on the 30th of June, 2009. The members of the group are: Matvey Ushakov - guitar Ilya Bolkisev - saxophone, electronics Dmitry Krasov - guitar, percussion Ivan Dorokhov - bass Alexey Kryuchkov - drums Different music preferences of the group members provided a fertile field for experiments. "Diversion Voice" perform instrumental music that is close in style to progressive, atmospheric, psychedelic, rock. By the time "Diversion Voice" emerged, the musicians had already worked well together in other music collectives. They all used to be members of the "Kitaygorod". Alexey Kryuchkov and Matvey Ushakov take part in live performances and help Felix Tokarev and his group "Offшоры" by the studio work. Ivan Dorokhov is a member of "The Danke Schon" project. Ilya Bolkisev makes sets with DJs. Dmitry Krasov performed with the "Global Beat School" and now is a part of "Udalennie Faily" group (which later joined Alexey Kryuchkov and Matvey Ushakov). There is no ideological leader in "Diversion Voice", who would direct the creative process to a particular course. Instead of that, the directing vector of the group is a tacit rule: to keep those musical variants, that give the best fit for all the members. A result of such collective work are unusual compositions that you can hear at live performances. | |

As early as December, 1960, Dee Corby was a DJ on KVEC in San Luis Obispo, California USA in the 1960's. In the same time period, he also headed-up the group Dude Ranch Cowboys. Dee Corby had a Buck-O-Roo custom doubleneck guitar made for him by Don Stanley (from Mosrite parts) around the year 1968. In addition to the novelty of the guitar having two necks and inlaid fredboard featuring "DEE" on the top neck and "CORBY" on the bottom neck), the top neck featured 14 strings (with three strings for the D- and G-string courses). The unusual guitar was made at cost, in exchange for the publicity of Dee playing the unusual guitar in public. The guitar was left in the care of a friend in the 1970's, only to be lost to Dee for many years (along with the frined), until the guitar showed up on an eBay auction to be purchased by artist [a=Deke Dickerson] around 2008. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Maurice Zbriger | From wikipedia: Maurice Zbriger (10 July 1896, Kamenets-Podolskiy, Ukraine – 5 April 1981, Montreal, Canada) was a Canadian violinist, composer and conductor. He began learning violin as a child, and continued his studies at the conservatory in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he was a classmate of Jascha Heifetz, Nathan Milstein and Mischa Elman. He left Russia in 1920 and traveled throughout Europe, until he arrived in Montreal in 1924. He quickly found work there at His Majesty's Theatre, in silent film houses, and other venues. He was one of the founders of the Traymore Quartet in 1925, which later became the Traymore Salon Orchestra. He was one of the first Canadians to specialize in Roma music and performed and conducted for a radio show that ran on the station CKAC for 40 years. Zbriger became a partner in, and eventually the sole owner of, the Montreal Hebrew Delicatessen. Better known as "Schwartz's", this restaurant is famous for its distinctive Montreal-style smoked meat. With the profits from this business, Zbriger spent many thousands of dollars organizing free concerts of his music. Zbriger was unable to pursue a career as a concert violinist because his wife was in poor health. Mrs. Zbriger was a pianist and co-composed music with Maurice, until her death after 65 years of marriage. Many of Zbriger's compositions were dedicated to famous people. He wrote The Vincent Massey March (1952) for the Canadian statesman of the same name, while "Mother's Lullaby" (1948) was dedicated to Charles, Prince of Wales upon his birth. The individuals honored by Zbriger frequently received copies of the music with letters he commissioned. In his later years, arthritis in his hands prevented Zbriger from performing publicly, though he continued to compose and conduct until his death. | |
