Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Humberto Bedon | HUMBERTO ELIAS BEDON | Humberto Elías Bedón. He was born in a small town in the province of Carchi, San Gabriel Humberto Bedón leaves the pranks lived in the José Julián Andrade School, the experiences in Radio Ecos de Montúfar and the candor of the young women who rehilated with their interpretations. It is established in Quito in the streets Oriente and Benalcázar, a few steps from the Espejo, Éxito, Tarqui stations and from where the hill of Itchimbía was seen in which was Channel 6 of TV, scenarios that were the prop to be the best singer Romantic. Every Sunday was the attraction on Channel 6 TV in black and white where he was paid 20 sucres. The first recording - a 45 rpm single - recorded at the Street Studios, was sold at 25 sucres. "My crazy Youth" became fashionable, and there was no home that did not acquire it. It was the years 72 and 73, he related to the teacher Polibio Mayorga. In 1977 he enters Sayce. Humberto was his own businessman, visiting radios and other media. Roberto Recalde of the record label Fadisa hired him to record for two years. The successes were added "With you I am happy", "Long live the love" that became anthem for the young people who went to the barracks. The subject reached 90 thousand copies, became deserving of the first gold record, which neither Camilo Sesto nor the Iracundos won. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Remipeds | The Remipeds first appeared in the lively and flourishing music scene of post-punk London in the late 1970s. Right from the beginning, it was clear that this was no ordinary band jumping on many of the bandwagons that were making their way through the clubs and pubs of trend-crazed London. Initially confining their mind-bending live performances to the 23rd of every month and/or full moons, this band borrowed more from the future than the past or the present. A remarkable blend of rock, psychedelia, world-music, ambient, reggae and dub, techno, and postmodern juxtapositions of TV and movie themes with pseudo-political and outer-space samples, Remipeds never quite let the listener know what was going on by making sure the band didn't either. The Remipeds burned brightly for around two years. Their meteoric rise to fame, coupled with an incredible creative output in the form of songs, interpretive dances, children's stories, multi-media events, bodily noises, and more, took London and indeed most of England by storm. Their influence can be said to have penetrated every nook and cranny of popular music today. Yet despite this, most people have never heard of them. This is one of the profound injustices our research team at Pimlico University has set out to remedy. Along with what has come to be known in the literature as "The Cover-Up," we will also trace how the band was boycotted by major record companies following the "EMI Xmas Caper," in which the lads found that record company executives are singularly lacking in sense of humor when it pertains to their own persons. Living constantly at the temperature of their own destruction, and sometimes exceeding it by quite a bit, the at times overheated Remipeds came to epitomize the power of Creativity, Freedom, and Independent Music, proudly recording on their own Banana Records as a statement against the corruption so rampant in the music industry. Unfortunately, the complex challenge of reconciling order and disorder within the band's profoundly pluralistic and admittedly ample bosom simply proved too much. After a couple of years, the centripetal force created by Remipeds expelled the band members one after the other. The band disbanded in the early 80s, but not before leaving behind an astonishing body of work. Slowly but surely, we hope to present this body of work on this web site. We want to bring to the attention of today's listeners a band that was so ahead of its time, it was once humorously speculated they were in fact time travellers. In a disturbing twist, and proving that many a true word is often spoken in jest, we shall see that this bizarre conjecture may not be as outlandish as it might seem. The fate of the members is documented, of course, in Harry J. Clarke's classic tale of the road, "Me Wanta Rainbow Remiped: In Search of the Band that Changed the Music." This website will contain all the information available to us at present. It was compiled by the Ethno-Musicology department at Pimlico University by a team headed by Prof. Clifford Llewellyn. We will focus on presenting to the public a wide collection of artefacts, ranging from sound-samples to video-clips to historical segments, to published and unpublished interviews, found objects, reviews, merchandise, scholarly treatises and analyses, explorations of musical sources and influences and colleagues, drug paraphernalia, and other "Remipediana." Stay tuned, and feel free to drop us a line if you want to ask us anything, or if you have any information about the Remipeds. We are particularly interested in contacting people who saw, worked with, or were intimate with the band. www.remipeds.com | |

The BAND simply calls it's unique, fun-loving style "HARD R&B". THE PHUNGUS' lyrical content is based on true experiences within the members' lives. FULL of hooks, never dark, tongue firmly in cheek, PHUNGUS believes their ability to relate to the PHANS is the reason for their burst of popularity, including being voted BEST BAND IN THE UPSTATE by the readers of Creative Loafing. PHUNGUS' stage presence is without question AMAZING, with each member individually interacting with the PHANS. Music ability that defines the word TIGHT, Stage Props, Costumes, Synchronized Moves, and just plain CHARISMA, has PHUNGUS poised to be THE band that is destined to put the "SHOW" back in "SHOW BIZ". Each member is blessed with the unique ability to maintain their own INDIVIDUALITY, while remaining true to the UNITY of the BAND. With PHUNGUS' Vibe spreading a big "ONE LOVE" attitude, it's no wonder the PHANS, who vary in age, race, and nationality, refer to themselves as members of the "PHUNGUS PHAMILY". PHUNGUSAMUNGUS' three self-produced releases have sold THOUSANDS OF COPIES EACH, and counting, through the succesful Live Shows regionally, and WORLDWIDE with the help of Red Eye Distribution Company. The first two releases have OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT. They are currently in REGULAR ROTATION on several radio stations on the east coast. THE PHUNGUS is RIGHT AT HOME performing to crowds of up to TEN THOUSAND, and has shared the stage with many NATIONALS including; - BUCK CHERRY - GWAR - Hed(pe) - JACKYL - JIMMY'S CHICKEN SHACK - LENNON - PHUNK JUNKEEZ - PRIMER 55 - SHOOTYZ GROOVE - SIMON SAYS - SLAVES ON DOPE - SPINESHANK - SPONGE - STEREO MUD - STUCK MOJO - TAPROOT - and too many more to mention, as well as to come. PHUNGUS is currently performing throughout the east coast, with sponsorships from Hooters and Miller Lite/Icehouse, and CONSTANTLY writing and recording NEW MATERIAL. Earning the Press-Given Title of "THE HARDEST WORKING BAND IN THE SOUTHEAST", PHUNGUS will continue their QUEST to SHARE THEIR VISION with the world AS LONG AS IT TAKES...

| Search | Add | 4 | The Potters Wood Kingswood Silver Band | Founded in 1892 as the Bristol East Temperance Band by George William White for the miners in the locality, the Band has had a continuous presence in local activities and wider afield. The White family, widely known in East Bristol, were heavily involved from the beginning in conducting, teaching, playing and administering the Band's affairs. The Band participated in various contests with the highlight of each year being the West of England Championships in Spring. The Band was consolidating its return to the Second section prior to the merger. Kingswood (Bristol) Band The Kingswood Bristol Band, as it is was last known, was formed in 1958 by Mr Herbert Sevier. Consisting initially of boys from the Potters Wood Methodist Church it went by the name of 'Kingswood and District Band'. The first rehearsal, taken by Herbert, was on 14th January 1959. The band rapidly grew in numbers and success, reaching the National Finals in London in 1966. It was also in 1966 that the now 'Potters Wood Kingswood Hill, Bristol Silver Band' amalgamated with the Albion Dockyard Silver Band who were also conducted by Herbert Sevier. The band's name now changed to the 'Kingswood (Potters Wood) Silver Band'. The band was now going from strength to strength, culminating in promotion to the Championship Section. The band secured sponsorship from local manufacturing company Bendix in 1976, a partnership that lasted over 20 years. 'The Bendix Kingswood Band' again reached Championship status in 1988. A severe lack of players almost caused the band to fold in the mid 1990's but, through the loyalty of the members, built its way back up. In 2000, the band was placed 1st in the regional championships held at the Riviera Centre, Torquay, becoming the Boosey & Hawkes National Brass Band Champions of the West of England (2nd Section) enabling them to compete in the National Finals in Preston. The band qualified again in 2001, again enabling them to compete in the National Finals. In this year both the Regionals and Finals were held in Torquay! Although throughout the banding world they became known as 'The Bendix Band', sponsorship from the Bendix company eventually ceased with the company's demise. With this in mind, in July 2006 the band changed its name to the 'Kingswood Bristol Band'. Thus maintaining its links to the community it regards as home. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | The Ueckers | THE UECKERS are not an oldies group, they are not a glitter group they don't play boogie music and they don't play blues. THE UECKERS are an original baseball punk band for 2013, and their songs are brief, to the point and every one a potential hit. The duo consists of J. Uecker and B.Uecker. The two guitarists, play with such force that their sound has been compared to a hundred howling howitzers going off. The two share singing responsibilities and the drummer's (yet to be named) pulsating playing launches the throbbing sound of the band. THE UECKERS all originate from the north side of Chicago and kids who grew up there became musicians, degenerates or dentists. THE UECKERS are a little of each. Their sound is not unlike the sound of a fast drill on a rear molar. With no budget, no cares and a constant soundtrack(and press release) lifted from THE RAMONES they show their undying love for baseball and punk rock with 14 blistering budget rock tunes that when paired with a cold Old Style will get you through the summer ahead. GO CUBBIES! K-N-U-C-K! IF YOU WANNA PLAY TODAY! | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Rabbi Paysach J. Krohn | Paysach J. Krohn (born January 29, 1945) is an Orthodox Jewish rabbi, mohel (practitioner of ritual Jewish circumcision), author, and lecturer on topics related to ethics and spiritual growth. He is the author of the bestselling "Maggid" series of books for ArtScroll, inspired by the stories of Rabbi Sholom Schwadron, who was known as the "Maggid of Yerushalayim". He also authored a seminal work on bris milah (religious circumcision), also published by ArtScroll. Krohn was born in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. His father, Rabbi Avrohom Zelig Krohn, was a mohel (ritual circumcisor), of whom there were many in Brooklyn. He decided to build a practice in Queens and found a job in a hospital there. He moved his family to Kew Gardens when Paysach was seven years old. Paysach was one of the leaders of the Kew Gardens Pirchei boys choir. Krohn is a fifth-generation mohel. When his father became ill, Paysach learned this skill, in order to support his family. At age 21, he was the youngest mohel ever certified by the Brith Milah Board of New York. He has performed thousands of religious circumcisions. His ceremonies have been described "exceptionally spiritual and inspirational". Krohn's wife, Miriam, is one of the principals of Shevach High School in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens, New York. Krohn is a well-known lecturer, sharing stories in the manner of a maggid and also collecting stories for his speeches and books. He also leads Jewish historical tours throughout Europe, speaking about the rich and vibrant Jewish communities that existed prior to World War II. He documented the first of these trips in his 2007 book, Traveling with the Maggid. Along with Esther Jungreis, Krohn has served as a guest speaker at the annual Shavuot retreat hosted by Gateways since 2005. In December 2004 Krohn launched the organization PaL (Phone and Learn) in the United Kingdom. A division of Partners in Torah in the U.S., PaL matches up Jews who want to learn more about their heritage with a friendly, knowledgeable tutor for up to an hour a week of Jewish study and discussion over the phone. Krohn is well known as the author of a series of "Maggid" books inspired by the stories of Rabbi Sholom Schwadron, who was known as the "Maggid of Jerusalem" for the inspirational mussar talks he gave every Friday night from 1952 to 1992 to the public at the Zikhron Moshe shtiebel in Jerusalem. Krohn met Schwadron when his father invited Schwadron to stay with them during one of his frequent fund-raising trips to America in late 1964, although Schwadron didn't know him or his family personally. Schwadron insisted on paying rent, which Krohn agreed to reluctantly. During the five months that Schwadron resided with the Krohns, a close bond formed between him and the family. When Schwadron announced that he was leaving after Passover 1965 to travel back to Israel by boat, the entire family saw him off at the pier. Then Krohn's father handed Schwadron an envelope containing all the "rent money" he had paid, as he had never intended to keep it. A few days later, Krohn's father said he missed his guest so much that he decided to greet him when his boat docked in Israel. He and his wife quickly arranged passports and flew to Israel two days before Schwadron arrived. After giving the Schwadron family time for a reunion, the Krohns appeared with their own welcome. Avrohom Zelig Krohn was diagnosed with a terminal illness after this event, and died the following year. Six months after that, the family received a letter from Schwadron saying that he was coming to America again. Schwadron became a surrogate father to Krohn's seven orphans. He showed great sensitivity towards Krohn's widow, remembering his own mother's struggles to raise her orphaned children. With Schwadron's encouragement and active input, Paysach Krohn penned the first of his popular "Maggid" books, The Maggid Speaks, published in 1987. Schwadron died before the publication of the second book in the series, Around the Maggid's Table. Subsequent titles (Along the Maggid's Journey, In the Footsteps of the Maggid, Echoes of the Maggid, Reflections of the Maggid etc.) memorialized Schwadron's influence on the overall project. As of 2012, Krohn has published eight books in the series. | |

Nico’s sound has traveled across radio stations WNUR 89.3 FM, WLUW 88.7 FM, WZBC 90.3 FM Newton/Boston, WZLY 91.5 FM, 93.1 FM, and WMBR 88.1 FM in Cambridge where he hosted his own electronic Chicago house show. D.e.a.t.h. D.i.s.c.o. Radio program director Nico brings talent the likes of DJ Hell, Larry Tee, Mr. K-Alexi, Adriano Canzian, The Model, Mihai Popoviciu, Masstyk, Mick Wills, Play Paul, Princess Superstar, Gene Farris, Reid Speed, Salvatore Cusato, Casco, and Funky Junction among others. Nico always had a fascination with Chicago house music, and let it known through his collection of the Trax Records Chicago label. The breakup of Chicago groups from the 1990's, including Nico Flash, Future Gazers, Boys Club led to the eventual inspiration for Nico’s "Material Boy" and “Who’s That Guy” remixes that were inspired by Madonna's "Material Girl," themes. The band recently recorded under "State of The Art" Boys Club impresario transformed into the power pop personality of Nico in 1996. It was Kraftwerk's masterpiece, The Man Machine (1978), that formed the inspiration for Nico Demonte's remix of the “Man Machine” classic. Kraftwerk's "Showroom Dummies" also formed the inspiration for Nico "Mannequins in Alleys" singles. Nico (class of 1991) and rock legend Billy Corgan and lead singer of the “Smashing Pumpkins” (class of 1985) both graduated from Glenbard North High School in Illinois. While Billy Corgan was forming his first band “The Marked” in 1985 (prior to Billy Corgan forming the Smashing Pumpkins), Nico Demonte played jazz and classical music as a saxaphonist, while dabbling in electronics to find new sounds. In 1990, Nico studied acting under the teacher of Animal House and SNL actor John Belushi. In 1995, Nico and Stymie began Genesis Project Recordings in Chicago, running it out of their garage. In 1998, Nico expanded his sound following numerous trips to Zurich, Switzerland and at the legendary club Tresor in Berlin. Inspired by Berlin legends Dr. Motte, Paul van Dyk, Tanith, Jonzon, Rok, Kid Paul, Nico released “Der Auslander.” Nico’s release of his full length CD "Der Auslander" (1999) made it to the CMJ charts and was followed up by singles and remixes like the 12" EP Phantasmagoria and the remix of skylab2000’s hit “Ten Re-Entry” EP. “ This Chicago songwriter openly attributes Ministry's Al Jourgensen, Wax Trax! Records, the keyboard sequences of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult and the industrial sounds of Front 242 as creative inspirations. During these years of late night productions and radio gigs where test promos were always the norm, Nico was further influenced by the sultry sounds of Chicago’s legendary Frankie Knuckles, Michael Serafini, Madonna, Moby, U2, and David Bowie, vowing to create his own splash on the frontier of the music scene. Following a record release party in 1997, the legendary Chicago to DJ at “Medusa’s” Nightclub. Nico DJ’s and performs live at Chicago nightclubs Vision, Rednofive, Medusa’s Mission, Ice Bar Chicago, The Dragon Room, in Las Vegas, St. Thomas and the Virgin Islands, and around the states. Nico has played alongside Felix Da Housecat, Green Velvet aka Cajmere, Tommie Sunshine, KC the Drummer, Stymie, DJ Boogieman, Phantom 45, Dan Efex, DJ Dayhota, DJ Lady D, Invisible Scratch Piklz, D-Styles and Qbert, Hyperactive, Mazi, Mark Almaria, 3D, skylab2000, and others. Nico is founder of the 8 bit pop group Commodore 64 Orchestra (www.commodore64orchestra.com). When the release of Der Auslander received radioplay on 88.7 it caught fire in the Chicago underground, and was inspired by Cajmere’s (aka Green Velvet) ghettotech single "Time for the Perculator", DJ Ron Hardy, Jesse Saunders, Devo, Adonis, K-Alexi, Mr. Lee and the genius of Larry Sherman. A pivotal point came with the 1986 releases of the House anthem of "Move Your Body" by Marshall Jefferson, Phuture’s "Acid Trax,” and Maurice Joshua / Hot Hands Hula's "This Is Acid." Nico’s 2000 single "Collapse of Civilization" was inspired by his experience at the legendary Berlin club Tresor, followed by the sexy dance track Phantasmagoria released in 2001. In 2003, Nico Demonte remixed skylab2000’s commercial hit “Ten,” with the Boys Club club classic released in 2003. The inspiring pop sound of Boys Club was directly inspired from the vision of Telex's "Moskow Diskow," "Thomas Dolby, Gary Numan, Yaz, OMD, John Foxx, Japan, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Juan Atkins and 3070 aka Cybotron, New Order, Human League, Farley Jackmaster Funk's "The Acid Life, and Men Without Hats. Nico is one of the founders of the EJ MIDI Turntable (EJ Enterprises Worldwide), specializing in the world’s first video turntable and other future music technologies. Nico’s EP “Alive” is scheduled for releases in 2005. Paris Hilton's inspiration for the classic “ATM GIRL” was coincidental. After hearing Donna Summer and the Disco classic “The Chase” by Giorgio Moroder, Astley states that Nico recognized the cultural relavence of Pop Icons like Paris and Nikky Hilton by writing his classic “ATM GIRL©®.” Astley states that a CD containing songs like the sexy synth pop anthem, "ATM GIRL©®," from Nico Demonte’s upcoming album, "Alive©®", has gone missing during his electric shock in the Chicago-based studio.

| Search | Add | 4 | Criminal System | Based in Brazil and strongly influenced by digging art and club culture, the duo Criminal System arises from the idea of transforming three years of musical creation into something else. From housemates to partners in crime and music, the duo formed by Breno Cardoso and Roger Sisto follows the march of their own drum searching for new sounds incessantly, while immersed in a universe of raw experimentation and creation. After a period of incubation, the artists brought to light a series of compositions uniting their identities and influences reflecting a totally new aesthetic, from their productions to their energetic selections in the club. The criminal sound stands out for the natural combination of raw funk with influences from avant-garde house, techno and electro, bringing precision, sobriety and elegance in a hypnotic way for the mind paving dynamism for the body and soul. Emerging from Sci Phunk Records, the vision gained shape and purpose delivering to the audience, streets and dancefloors the Criminal System. | |
