Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Fillmore King | Fillmore King has built a life long career in music. His roots go back to the early days in Tobago when, as a youngster, he took the town by storm, performing live on stage, radio and television. At the tender age of ten, he showed the promise of a gifted singer and musician. He first began performing with his sister. The duo soon became a family foursome when they were joined by two of their siblings. Fillmore starred in the weekly "Phil Swing King Show" which was, without doubt, the hottest live show around. Fillmore performed live at Queen's Hall, the equivalent of Carnegie Hall, in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He formed a group called Phil King and the Swing Pins and they performed for local audiences. He then became a member of the popular group known as The Strollers. Their performances of R&B and the popular tunes of the day were in demand throughout the Caribbean, where they toured extensively. Fillmore moved to Canada in his early twenties and in no time, became a member of a group. This led him to other groups and subsequently to form several groups of his own. His repertoire spanned a vast array of styles from R&B, calypso/soca and pop. Accompanied by his musicians, he toured throughout Canada and became a favorite on the dance scene. Fillmore was a featured performer on the well-known television extravaganza "The Telethon of Stars". In addition to his performing career, Fillmore made time to study radio and television broadcasting at the National Institute of Broadcasting. Fillmore recorded the theme song for "Spaced Out", an animated cartoon video for children. He has recorded radio commercials. Fillmore combines a hard soulful vocal style with melodic harmony and solid music to produce a sound performance that is both energetic and passionate. In addition to his talent as a vocalist, Fillmore is an accomplished musician who plays a number of instruments. In his capacity as composer, arranger and producer, he has four albums and four singles to his credit | |

In the 1970s, Karl Erik Svensson accompanied both Arne "Rosen" Qvick and Gösta "Snoddas" Nordgren, who then toured and recorded records together. When Arne "Rosen" Qvick stopped touring, Karl Erik Svensson continued the collaboration with Gösta "Snoddas" Nordgren. This collaboration continued until February 18, 1981 when Gösta "Snoddas" Nordgren died suddenly. Since 2005, Karl Erik Svensson has been collaborating with singer Torkel Selin.

| Search | Add | 5 | Tàlveg | [a=Ferran Fages] - electric guitar [a=Marcellí Bayer] - baritone and alto saxophone [a=Oriol Roca] - drums Tàlveg. Behind this enigmatic name, we find three of the most experienced musicians of the Barcelona scene who, with only three years of work together, have managed to materialise a very personal way of facing improvisation and even transcending it. A very efficient mixture of individuality and common understanding. The method is scrupulous, the forms precise, and the sound generous. They know how to build sonic architectures that go beyond genres and get rid of the need for classification. Sound in its most direct, concise and at the same time, essential sense. But, if we talk about a method, it is precisely because procedure is the cornerstone of this whole building; with implicit boundaries that are never guessed, but which support each gesture and each intervention. The sound circulates as a single flow made of intriguing and captivating textures. The compositions or, perhaps it is better to say, guided improvisations are generated with a careful concentration and a limpid vision of a global sound, which allows room for the interventions and leaves more space for the listener’s interpretation. To allow them to participate fully in the experience. And "space" is the word that curiously comes to mind when listening to this music; and then the word "arid". Although sometimes the space is saturated, we sense that it is with full consciousness; in the same way that this imaginative aridity, sometimes reduced to a few harmonics, is expanded with grunts and bursts that end up flooding the space with sound. The work on listening is absolutely fundamental in this trio. To better distribute energy, each contribution is strategically dispensed; close to the form of an oratorio, but without the solemnity or religiousness that characterises it, each piece alternates possible combinations, not only to better highlight and expand the timbres and atmospheres, but also to not exhaust the global form. This alternation opens up the listening, eliminates expectation and ensures that our attention never lowers its guard. When the storm arrives, it is both beneficial and brutal at the same time; and soon, it becomes a catharsis. Tàlveg possesses the energy of the power trio and, in addition, the intelligence of proportion; each instrument has the necessary space to be able to affirm itself without having to make a place among the others; as if they all had their doors open to manifest themselves, but only at very specific moments. And every time they appear alone, their presence seems unconditional and we never miss the others. Here, structural rigour exceeds the most visceral spirit, without any ostentation; but, even so, there is an organic strength in this structure. An emotionally intense journey on course to discovery, which undoubtedly activates the imagination. Alfredo Costa Monteiro, December 2021 | |

In the early 40s took over the band of Hal Byrnes, and although they never recorded commercially, they did make quite a few transcriptions. They perform a mixture of western songs, western swing, sentimental songs and gospel, most of it sung in excellent three part harmony by Pennington, guitarist Sonny Haley, and bassist Lonnie Love. The group is rounded out by steel guitarist Johnny Sorrels. Tight harmony singing and virtuoso musicianship (mainly fiddle, guitar, steel) from this Memphis-based group, mix of country, western, folk, all from transcription discs cut for Lang-Worth in the 1940s. Also called Jack Pennington and The Garrett's Snuff Variety Gang.

| Search | Add | 5 | Wyser | Henry Lee Robinson | Wyser is a rapper from Hunters Point in San Francisco, California. Henry Robinson aka Budwyser (or Wyser) was born on June 17, 1967. Budwyser got his name in 1990 after a rapper by the name of The Millard from Sunnydale Bayview. The Millard was the main insperation in Budwyser's name and was rapping and representing for Hunters Point at the time. Budwyser was so inspired in the rapper that he had a nickname for him and would simply call him "Miller" (like the Miller Lite beer) and would later called himself "Budwyser" King of the Rappers (like the Budweiser beer). At the the time, Budwyser and The Millard were battle rapping and dissing each other as a friendly competition and would go back and forth at each other, freestyle after freestyle until eventually The Millard started to promote Budwyser at shows while still dissing him. From there the name Budwyser took off all over the Hunters Point section. In 1991, Budwyser started getting on the radio 106 KMEL FM with Evan Luck and was on "The Battles Of The Rappers" several times. Later that year, Budwyser released his very first E.P. entitled "Life As A Nigger" in which the E.P. was rediscovered years later on the internet and it's now considered an "Unknown Classic" and was featuring another Hunters Point native by the name of DarRace Branner. A very rare cassette tape and it is extremely difficult to find. At the time of the EP release, Budwyser and a childhood friend by the name of Christopher Matthews who is now known as Black C of the legendary group RBL Posse had bought studio equipment and beat machines at a local Pawn Shop. At the time, Black C was the DJ, Budwyser and other Hunters Point natives name T-Lowe and his brother Bay Bay were the rappers. In 1992, Budwyser, Bay Bay and DarRace started working on there first official album entitled "You Can't Fade Me" under the name "The Product". It's considered a "Frisco Classic" in the Bay Area. It has songs like "You Can't Fade Me", "Bitches & Cops" & "Darling, Darling Baby" in which became underground classics. The album features T-Lowe and Black C & Mr. Cee of RBL Posse. The album was produced by T.C. who would gone on to produces classic albums for Totally Insane, I.M.P., Cold World Hustlers, RBL Posse, Herm Lewis, S-I-C, A.T.C., T-Gunn, Dre Dog aka Andre Nickatina, Rappin' 4-Tay, 11/5, Guce, just to name a few. Both projects "Life As A Nigger" and "You Can't Fade Me" are now extremely difficult to find and it's now collectable items. Budwyser took a 20 year break but he is now back in the studio and ready for a cameback on a new album called "Haters Come & Go" for the summer 2016 under the name "Wyser". |

| Search | Add | 5 | Zainab Majid | Zainab Majid, was born in 1936 from a pakistani parentage. She was a student of Raffles Girls' School and was a nurse at the School Health Institute. In the mid 1950s, Zainab had participated in a local talentime and had won the first placing. Zainab who was capable in singing English and malay songs was also an expert in hindustani and tamil songs. She was then offered to make a recording to sing malay songs with the hindustani beat which was very popular in the 1950s. During the recordings, Zainab was accompanied by Ahmad Jaafar Orchestra and Ahmad Wan Yet Orchestra on different recording dates. Most of the songs that were recorded were mainly cover songs from the popular hindi films. It was believed that the lyrics were mostly written by the singer S.Hamid. Among her popular songs were Kau Dihatiku, Kechantikan and Kita Bersama. Zainab also sang duet with Razak Majid in songs such as Alam Impian and Penggoda Hati. Beside singging hindustani beat, Zainab also did a Rock n' Roll tune which called Siapa Dia. Soon she became the competitor with established singer like R.Azmi who was famous in singing the same genre. Competition was seen when both sang the same song called Sampaikan Salam. In the early 1960s, Zainab had joined the all chinese girls band called The Blue Belles. The group which was formed in 1959, decided to have another singer into the band. Zainab Majid will always be remembered of her part in contributing malay songs in hindustani tune in the mid 1950s. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Marco Burgatto | Marco Burgatto | Italian musician and composer, born 21 December 1975 in Milan, Italy. Marco's musical career evolved quite rapidly following an early, illuminating approach to guitar - his first-choice instrument - in a gone-by hot summer. After some years spent in steadily refining his playing skills, in 1997 he started his involvement as a session musician on four studio albums by rock group 'Loverwolf', culminating in a long series of live performances in clubs all around Italy. Already gained, by that time, a higher degree of guitar mastery, he made a decisive breakthrough towards new musical experiences by pushing into the background performing, and devoting himself to composing. Starting from 2001 on, he scored several works by directors Cristian Mazzola and Raffaele Piscitelli; in the meanwhile, he completed his first video clip, "Pioggia" (2002), which eventually resulted in the release of the homonym double concept album in 2003. Also in 2003, he released the mini CD "Dall’Inizio Alla Fine", including three short poems set to music using classical tunes, while, the following year, he found the right combination of time, inspiration and energies to complete his second full-length album, "Fantasmi". The growing importance of classical music in Marco's compositions led to the landmark release of the symphony "Giornata In Campagna" (2005) on [url=http://www.discogs.com/label/Fridge+Records+%282%29]Fridge Records[/url], followed - that same year - by his third full-length album "L’Eroe Della Notte". But the time was ripe for more ambitious goals, which materialized with the release of his first rock opera, "Il Castello In Mezzo Al Mare" (2007), followed by the album "Il Canto Del Vento" (2008) - featuring prestigious guest performances by [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Angapiemage+Galiano+Persico]Angapiemage Persico[/url], Stefano Tessadri, [a=Ubi Maior]'s rhythm section, 'The Real', and [a=Stefano Tamiazzo]. In the following couple of years, he brought to completion an out-and-out trilogy by releasing two more rock operas, "Il Rovescio Della Medaglia" (2009) and "La Sottile Linea" (2010). As a fringe activity - from 2003 to date - he's been creating commercial jingles, soundtracks and scores for several production studios and, more recently, for the online soundtrack and advertising music library "Unusual Library". Marco's later projects include the re-recording of "Giornata In Campagna" (2011) - with the support of a bunch of talented classical music performers -, and his new album "Epica" (2012), available for download from iTunes Store and other online digital music stores. |

Recording ideas and images in sketchbooks has been his practice for over 30 years. By this means he has captured his responses to stimuli such as music, literature, science, and the world around him for reference, reflection, and subject matter. This tendency has been combined with a liking for components and an inventive urge for reuse, coupled with career training in manufacture of light. As a result Munro produces both monumental temporary experiential artworks as well as intimate story-pieces.

| Search | Add | 5 | TPMP | renjie zhao | TPMP is particularly good at deconstructing Techno, especially with a strong experimental approach to create conflicts with Techno, and after this experimental conflict, return to Techno's kernel again. TPMP is an electronic music arranger, mixer, mastering engineer and Eurorack modular designer. He is living in Chengdu a new upcoming Techno city in China. He was early on into electronic music and his production style is greatly influenced by BT, The Future Sound of London and Enigma. Later on, his style gradually turned to TECHNO (style wise he was influenced by Echospace, Basic channel, and Maurizio obviously). He implemented these various styles into TECHNO to form his own experimental style. Integrating EPIC, Ambient, Glitch into the core of TECHNO has always been his main focus. After trying a lot of modular music production methods, in order to achieve its own unique TECHNO experimental style, he began in 2016 to independently develop its own eurorack modular, accumulated a lot of understanding of the relationship between live set and modular world. On the spot, TPMP has always insisted on controlling through the Modular live set, using Modular's greatest possibility to build a unique and unpredictable on-site perception, making the live experience full of possibilities. His LIVE SET contains psychedelic modulations from varies modular synth. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Fritz Vogelstrom | Vogelstrom was born on November 4th, 1882 in Herford. He undertook is first small part at the age of 14 in Robert und Bertram (play with incidental music by Gustav Raeder) as "Schildwache" at the Herforder Stadttheater. In 1898, Vogelstrom joined a male quartet "Sänger von Finsterwalde". When performing with the group, he was heard by the director of the Hamburg opera who proposed him a contract. However, Vogelstrom was drafted at that time and instead of going to Hamburg, he went to Hannover. Vogelstrom had an accident and was released from service. He joined another quartet "Rheinisches Männerquartett" in Mannheim. The director of the Mannheim opera, August Bassermann, heard him and asked him to audition. His audition was on November 23rd, 1903 and as a result, he got a five year contract. His first parts in Mannheim were Max, Tamino, Alessandro Stradella and the Seaman (Tristan und Isolde). The number one heldentenor of the Mannheim Opera Friedrich Carlén died, and that was Vogelstrom's big break. He added Lohengrin, Stolzing, Siegfried, Tristan to his repertory. For his last performance in Mannhein, Vogelstrom chose Pedro. In 1912, Vogelstrom went on to Dresden. He was warmly welcomed in Dresden because their three heldentenors [a2354582], [a6403211] and [a5757191] were not able to sing for different reasons. He made his debut in Dresden as Max. There, Vogelstrom added Bacchus, Hans Kraft (Bärenhäuter), Kaiser, Gomella (Sonnenflammen) and a part in Hand und Herz to his repertory. He also added Tannhäuser, Parsifal, Canio and Turiddu (on the same evening, where he received 42 curtain calls), Herodes, Rienzi,..etc. Vogelstrom made many guest appearances, for example: 1908, he was in Dresden for the first time, before becoming a member of the troupe, replacing Burian in Tiefland, followed by Carmen and La Bohème. 1909, Vogelstrom made his debut in Bayreuth as Froh on July 25th. He was supposed to sing Lohengrin, but intrigues behind the scene, by the wife of Bary, made sure he did not appear. However, Vogelstrom appeared as Parsifal on July 31st and August 8th. The same year, he also sang in Vienna. 1910 Berlin (Stolzing), 1911 Nürnberg (Stolzing), München (Stolzing), Essen (Lohengrin) 1912 Essen 1913 Hannover (Lohengrin), Bielefeld (Lohengrin), Nürnberg (Siegfried) 1922 Zoppot (Siegfried) Vogelstrom continued to sing in Dresden until 1928. He died on December 25th, 1963 in Köthen, after having lost all his properties in the bombing of Dresden where he lived during the war. Vogelstrom recorded for Gramophon, Odeon, Pathé, Vox, Homocord and Parlophon: a total of 125 sides. | |
| Search | Add | 5 | The Fabulous Georgia Soul Twisters | The Georgia Soul Twisters started out in the early '60s and were originally based out of Lyons, GA. They were led by Mose Braziel, nicknamed “Pop” who was the owner and manager. A 10 member touring band, they travelled and played all of the southern states. Pop passed away in 1969 and the band recorded their third and final recording at a small central Florida recording studio some time in the very early '70s. 'Look Out (I'm Gonna Blow Your Mind)' b/w 'Mother Duck' was self-financed and self-released, and poor distribution means the record remains extremely elusive to this day. They continued to play into the late '70s but as members would drop out, get married and replacements became harder to recruit, they finally decided to part ways once and for all. | |

L'any 1963: "El cavaller Godia", "Maria Roser", "El modernitzat", "Un cel més blau". L'any 1964: "Una núvia estrangera", "A Emili Vendrell", "El paraigües", "Les veles". | |

It was the joint of Asociación Musical “La Clásica” and Banda de Música “Patronato De Juventud Obrera”. Also Junior orquestra since 1982, string section and chorus section since 1995. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Drift Mouth | Originally conceived as a retirement gift for Lou Poster's father upon his completion of 37 years mining for Consolidation Coal in West Virginia, the first recording that would become the foundation for Drift Mouth was made in 2006. Poster and drummer Brad Swiniarski had met playing shows together in previous bands (Poster in Grafton, Swiniarski in Bob City, the Means, Bigfoot) but had never worked together in a writing/recording environment. The result was a collection of covers (Dark as a Dungeon) and originals (Loveridge is Burning) that captured a modern yet decidedly time-arrested feel, like an old photograph that somehow hasn't faded or yellowed. As sometimes happens with projects like these, once the sessions were finished the completed work was delivered to its intended audience of one, and shelved for later. Eight years later, as it turns out. As the conversations turned into practices, more pieces were added to the group: Marc Spurgeon, Craig Davidson, Josh “Roscoe” Draher, and Regan Tonti. More ideas were invited in, and the sounds grew to include multi-part harmonies and layered guitars. Over the years, inevitable lineup changes have taken place—in 2016 bass was picked up by Eric Johnson, while slide and rhythm guitar duties were taken over by Brett Burleson. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | George Skrbina | George Skrbina was a Croatian American tamburitza muscian. He was born in Pupolica, Croatia (then part of Austria-Hungary) in 1906. As a child he was fascinated with tamburitza music, but being of limited financial means, his interest was nothing more than a dream. Having an agile and very imaginative mind, George devised a means of financing a tambura. He commandeered the services of two very productive chickens, whose eggs he sold. Before long, he had enough money in his treasury to purchase a tambura. He had to walk eight miles to buy it, but he had realized his dream. With this determination and background there was no way George was to be an ordinary tamburas. He practiced every minute he had available and became an outstanding musician. George came to the United States at the tender age of 14 and settled in Youngstown in 1929, where he immediately joined a band consisting of himself, Dave Zupkovich, Steve Belish, Matt Nenkovich, and Pete Vladkovich. His travels took him to Detroit, where he met Steve Pavlekovich and a life-long friendship developed. From here, as his abilities ascended, he went to New York, where he joined the Banat tamburitza band, a premier band at that time. In Youngstown, George formed the Balkan Serenaders, also a top band in that era and locality. George's appearances on TV and radio were many in the Ohio/Pennsylvania area. Over the years George taught many youngsters, including the Markulin brothers, Lou, Steve, and Tony, his son Rudy, and Libby Fill, the female all-time outstanding tamburas. George performed with many outstanding tamburasi. Among them are Steve Pavlekovich, Markulin Brothers, Dave Zupkovich, Johnny Krizancic, Mel Evanovich, Pete Radakovich, Marty Kapugi, and Joe Marmilich. George transposed many of the older songs which were composed in 4/4 or 3/4 time to 2/4 time, which produced a more lively type of music. The transition was very well accepted by many of the top bands in the country. Using the chromatic scale, he introduced to tamburitza the cello, which gave tambura music a much greater depth of tone. This addition to tambura music was accepted by many bands and is being used more and more today. George's contribution did not stop here. It was George who introduced the idea of tamburasi playing in a standing position rather being seated. This innovation permitted the performers to mingle with the audience, which, of course, is enjoyed by music lovers of all nations. Let us not forget that this idea made possible the tamburasi playing at the bar. Where do you see more enjoyment than the competition at the bar for the honor of 'treating' the performers? There are thousands of individuals who were fortunate to have enjoyed this gentleman's countless hours of performing, many times far into the wee hours of the morning. He, in turn, enjoyed nothing more than to see people enjoying his presentations. George's dedication to the preservation and promotion of tambura music certainly warrants his appointment to the Tamburitza Hall of Fame with the many others so honored. | |
