Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

An earlier project named Anthony & The Alcoholics was abandoned after the "Music For Suffering Ducks" project (circa 1984) and the Kuckoo single (1985). De Confidence rarely played outside Cork. The live show reputedly includes music, mime, spoken word, projected images, light effects, etc, i.e. a multi-media approach. There are also several videos. In 1988 they did a 3 city tour under the name Anthony & De Confidence which included Triskel Arts Center, Cork, the Irish Film Institute in Dublin and Covent Garden Community Centre in London. This tour was organised and promoted in the hope of stirring record company interest in the band but nothing concrete came of it apart from one unsatisfactory offer. Another notable performance was at the Pacific Circle Music Convention in Sydney, Australia in 1997. Anthony is still active and has released quite a body of work over 20+ years on his own Kings Union imprint, and two self-published books (Maymount Books), but with zero distribution to speak of these items are very difficult to get hold of. More details can be found on his myspace page -- see external links below. Anthony's books to date are "Driving My Car" (2001) and "The Rise and Fall of Billy the Blob" (2005), both published by MayMount. |
Search | Add | 5 | Slogmåkane | Since first appearing in 2004 as a shanty choir, Slogmåkane (The Greedy Seagulls) from the island of Karmøy on the norwegian west coast have gradually evolved and gained a strong reputation as a energetic and dynamic live group within the shanty and Celtic music styles. With its strong connection to sea-shanties, Celtic, Irish and Scottish folk music, well influenced by Karmøys culture as a community of seafarers, they have built up a audience friendly style and sound through the use of traditional instruments, fused seamlessly with bass and drums. This, along with charismatic lead singers and an energetic and dynamic 20-piece choir creates an energy and presence that makes a breathtaking performance for their audience and led them to a impressing 3rd place in the national TV - competition Norway's Got Talent in 2015.

Thus the STOCKHOLM GIRLS CHOIR was founded. Since then the choir has appeared before his ROYAL MAJESTY KING GUSTAV ADOLF Vl of Sweden, has thrilled millions of radio listeners, has been acclaimed on a tour of European capitals, and has just concluded concert appearances through the U.S.A. Search | Add | 5 | Current b-lectric | Benas Buivydas | The Current b-lectric is the main sound project of Benas Buivydas (a.k.a. b-), a sound explorer from Lithuania. The project consists of various experiments with modular synths, tape loops, noise boxes, field recordings, mangled samples, and whatnot. Despite the ever-changing experimental nature of the sounds, there is an underlying feeling of darkness and melancholy. Despite the occasionally appearing rhythms the music is trying to evoke a dreamlike state; its recordings feature ambient loops, detached monologue samples, various field recordings, etc. One thread connecting all recordings is the use of various body parameters (like heartbeat pulse or breath) to automate part of the recording process: opening/closing of filters, filling in additional percussion elements, panning in the stereo field, or controlling the volume of some particular part. This feature makes the artist himself part of the electrical current, hence the name Current b-lectric. |

Their 2nd single "Body Rock" had been discoverd by Tony Garcia who supported this track enormously and after instant club use it quickly made it into the US Billboard Top 20 although not being a real hit in Germany. Search | Add | 5 | Marco Burgatto | Marco Burgatto | Italian musician and composer, born 21 December 1975 in Milan, Italy. Marco's musical career evolved quite rapidly following an early, illuminating approach to guitar - his first-choice instrument - in a gone-by hot summer. After some years spent in steadily refining his playing skills, in 1997 he started his involvement as a session musician on four studio albums by rock group 'Loverwolf', culminating in a long series of live performances in clubs all around Italy. Already gained, by that time, a higher degree of guitar mastery, he made a decisive breakthrough towards new musical experiences by pushing into the background performing, and devoting himself to composing. Starting from 2001 on, he scored several works by directors Cristian Mazzola and Raffaele Piscitelli; in the meanwhile, he completed his first video clip, "Pioggia" (2002), which eventually resulted in the release of the homonym double concept album in 2003. Also in 2003, he released the mini CD "Dall’Inizio Alla Fine", including three short poems set to music using classical tunes, while, the following year, he found the right combination of time, inspiration and energies to complete his second full-length album, "Fantasmi". The growing importance of classical music in Marco's compositions led to the landmark release of the symphony "Giornata In Campagna" (2005) on Fridge Records, followed - that same year - by his third full-length album "L’Eroe Della Notte". But the time was ripe for more ambitious goals, which materialized with the release of his first rock opera, "Il Castello In Mezzo Al Mare" (2007), followed by the album "Il Canto Del Vento" (2008) - featuring prestigious guest performances by Angapiemage Persico, Stefano Tessadri, [a=Ubi Maior]'s rhythm section, 'The Real', and [a=Stefano Tamiazzo]. In the following couple of years, he brought to completion an out-and-out trilogy by releasing two more rock operas, "Il Rovescio Della Medaglia" (2009) and "La Sottile Linea" (2010). As a fringe activity - from 2003 to date - he's been creating commercial jingles, soundtracks and scores for several production studios and, more recently, for the online soundtrack and advertising music library "Unusual Library". Marco's later projects include the re-recording of "Giornata In Campagna" (2011) - with the support of a bunch of talented classical music performers -, and his new album "Epica" (2012), available for download from iTunes Store and other online digital music stores. |

Search | Add | 5 | Валера Коротин | Валерий Коротин | Author, Composer in Shanson Genre. |

Search | Add | 5 | Hauntissimo | Funs Chung | Hauntissimo is a one-man music project by Snuf starting from 2013. He had done a short live show that year, but, as he recalled, was a nightmare. In the early 2017, he picked up his old demos and reworked again. He replaced real bass guitar with samplings and decided to digitalize everything to make things easier to control. With his long-time listening to the Ruins and Merzbow in the meantime, he blended some lo-fi noisy synthesizers, drum loops with irregular time signature, plus minimal melodic bass-riffs together. After that, during the same year in September, he self-released his debut self-titled EP. |

Search | Add | 5 | Warred | Warred was founded in 2012 by young band members and long time friends Arthur Ernandes and Rodrigo Andrade. They both shared the same passion for old school metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest and more, they formed a band pursuing the fiery and furious sound of the old guard, bringing that to the modern times back then. The band began recording their debut EP ‘Wild Legion’ in 2013, but feeling their music needed more time to shape its style, it took a few years from that to come back with a stable line up consisting of Pedro Mion (vocals), Arthur Ernandes (guitar), Rodrigo Andrade (guitar), Jorge Nascimento (drums) and Espiga (bass). This is the lineup who recorded two singles “Beneath The Sea” and “Where I Belong” in 2019 and now coming with a brand new song “Behind The Mask” that is featured on the band’s first ever video. The band is now in process of songwriting for their debut record which is due to be recorded and released in Q4 2020. It fuses its old school style with their new found influences such as Gojira, Mastodon, Opeth and more, but all band members have different musical backgrounds such as hardcore, punk and more. With that said, the debut album will come with an unique and constant evolving sound. Warred was also, in part time, an Iron Maiden cover band. The guys in Warred not only payed its tribute to one of the biggest bands in history, but also did it with so much maestry that the band began to being noticed in cover festivals around Sao Paulo and won a major championship of cover bands by unanimty from a body of highly specialized jurors, giving the band the right of being the resident band of some reputable and internationally recognized night clubs in Sao Paulo such as Blackmore.

Search | Add | 5 | Tri O Five | Tri O Five is one of the most successful Bulgarian club bands. Their style can be described as funky, groovy beats. In 2005 fate brought Dessislav Ivanov, Ilyin Grivishki and Michael Fleming together. A month later, the first track of the successful trio is a fact. "Let's Start Over" was recorded in the home studio of DJ Ilko, but the next three songs -"Got The Groove", "Back To You" and "Travelling" were made in a professional recording studio. In 2007 the single „Let's Start Over” was released on CD with remixes of the same song by different DJ-s . The three musicians decided that for the promotion a bassist will be needed and that’s when Antony Rikev (WahTony) joined the band. Soon after that came their first international success . They released the song "No Where To Go" with U.S. label Blockhead Recordings. In the beginning of 2011 Tri O Five conquered stages and festivals such as Exit, Elevation, Spirit of Burgas, Apolonia, Dixi Jazz Festival and Sozopol Fest.
