Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Sebastian A. Dusza | Sebastian Arkadiusz Dusza | Sebastian Arkadiusz Dusza was born in 1978. Already as a child he became interested in music. His first simple compositions started to appear in 1984. During his whole childhood, Sebastian had contact with various music genres, from classical music to rock and metal. Already in his elementary school, he got his first toy synthesizer which he used to learn how to play, strumming what he heard. Then music paled into insignificance for a while due to exploring other passions and of course school chores, yet fascination with electronic music remained. In 1995, Sebastian’s parents got him his first PC with a soundcard which resulted in first attempts of composing music using Scream Tracker, and next Fast Tracker software. In 1996, he gave life to music project under the name Citadel of Mo. When asked about what inspired him to do so, the author stated that “the idea to create a music project came to being from the hidden urge to create music which slumbered somewhere within.” The project’s output includes several dozen of works starting from club techno, and ending on mellow moods of electronic music. Sebastian Dusza remains the leader and main producer of Citadel of Mo, while the project itself is open to cooperation with other artists. In 2005, Sebastian discovered VSTi virtual instruments and the FL Studio software. At that time, he decided to recapitulate on his most interesting works up to date in the form of his first mini-album, “Data From the Sky“. In 2006, Sebastian bought a MIDI keyboard. He started to build his home studio. In December the very same year, a new album, entitled “Next Chapter” appeared. This was his first album which came to being already in a uniform editing environment. In 2007, works of Citadel of Mo appeared in the autopilot of El-Stacja (El-Station), a non-commercial internet radio broadcasting Polish electronic music. That year, a musical motive for the movie “Agent 700: Kryptonim N.” (”Agent 700: Codename N.“) was created and distributed as an mp3 maxi-single through a website. A broadcast in El-Stacja dedicated in total to Citadel of Mo appeared a year later. 2008 became a virtuous circle for Citadel of Mo. On May 15th the broadcast of Jerzy Kordowicz (in the third channel of the Polish radio) featured “Planet RX” as a bonus to Piotr Krupski’s “Elbing 1904″, on May 31st the same composition appeared in El-Stacja in Markowe granie (Mark’s Playlist), and on July 11th once again in the broadcast of Jerzy Kordowicz. Sebastian A. Dusza derives inspiration for his works from different music genres, from classical to popular music, and ethnic music from various part of the world. His works are included in the following compilations: Contemporary Electronic Soundscapes vol. III - “ROBOT FAIRY TALES” (”Voyage Through the Stars (Robot Voice version)“) and Contemporary Electronic Soundscapes vol. IV - “THE DARK SIDE OF THE MIND” (”Dark Side of the Soul“). In the third channel of the Polish radio Jerzy Kordowicz broadcasted, apart from “Planet RX“, “Voyage Through the Stars (Robot Voice Version)” from the album CES III. El-Stacja broadcasted such compositions as “One Day in Gdynia“, “Behind the Mind” and “Onse madonse (feat. DJ Placus)“, and in addition “Third Eye” which came as 2nd in its premiere charts. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Fred Mauck | Label owner and studio engineer. Fredrick R. Mauck was born April 24, 1913, in Yetter, Iowa. He was active as a clarinetist in the Boone (Iowa) High School band as well as a member of the school’s orchestra and chamber orchestra. By 1932, he was also a student director for the school orchestra. Throughout the 1930s, he “…traveled the Midwest with the Freddie Mauck Orchestra,” according to his obituary in the 'Quad City Times'. The band is reported to have traveled a territory ranging from Iowa to the Canadian Border, and south through Kansas. The Freddie Mauck Orchestra is reported to have disbanded on December 31, 1936. From 1939 until the time of his retirement, Fred is frequently listed as a film projectionist at venues like The Paradise Theatre in Moline, Illinois (1939 into the 1940s), The Roxy Theatre in Moline (around 1945 to at least 1955) and The Spruce Hills Twin Theater in Bettendorf, Iowa (around 1977-1979). By 1949, Fred and his first wife, Mayphine, resided at a Moline address shared with a transcription recording business known as [l1859176]. It’s presumed that this business, which produced program content for local radio stations and rehearsal recordings for nearby dance studios, was the genesis of [l247100] Records. Fred’s marriage to Lois Hansen in 1951 inspired the name of the Fredlo label, resulting from a contraction of the names Fred and Lois. The studio relocated from Moline across the river to Davenport, Iowa, around 1956, with the Maucks living on the second floor above the recording facility. After shutting down the studio in 1976, Fred spent two more years as a projectionist before retiring with his wife to the community of Grand Marais, Minnesota, where he passed away March 11, 1995. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Theatre Crisp | Damian Hercules, Dave Cox AKA DC, Fearghas Gundy, Jay Baty, John Kirby AKA DJ K-FLiP, Kyle Petch AKA "humbleHAB", Michael Banks, Nicholas Serbina | Eight strangers from Niagara, with one thing in common; Keep’n it Funk, Free, and Casual! Formed in 2008 by lead singer Kyle Petch (aka humbleHAB) Theatre Crisp took a full year to practice and polish their sound to the point where it was sure to turn heads before debuting at their first show. Theatre Crisp hit the scene hard in 2009 delivering a fresh sound to the Hip-Hop community with truly original music and their unique “Funk-Hop” style. ” It would seem to be impossible for a band to create a fresh sound, since so many new artists follow the ruts worn deep by those who came before. But I was surprised, in the best way, by a band called Theatre Crisp…It was the best time I've had at a concert in a really long time.” Erin Wilson Studios The band claims their sound comes from the fact that each member originates from a distinct musical background; ranging from underground Hip-Hop, Classic Rock, Metal, Blues and Jazz which can all be detected in their songs. After 3 years of playing countless shows, 2012 was marked as a big year for Theatre Crisp with the release of their debut full length album, “Modern Daze”. Winning Best Original Group of 2012 at the NMA’s on top of being nominated for: Best Male Vocalist, Original Song of the year and Best Music Video. Finally; being granted an opening spot on a tour with BC’s Current Swell on top of countless other shows helped earn the band more popularity and coverage leading into 2013. Theatre Crisp is wasting no time in 2016 by spending time in the studio for their upcoming album (expected to be released in early 2017) while balancing a busy year of shows and festivals already being booked. 2016 is also important because the band welcomes their newest members; Drums: Damian Hercules, Trombone: Fearghas Gundy, Keyboards: Michael Banks & Bass: Nicholas Serbina! The rest of Theatre Crisp consists: of lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Kyle Petch (humbleHAB), lead guitar/producer Jay Baty, DJ: John Kirby AKA DJ K-FLiP and finally 3 time world tap dance champion David Cox adds to the mix to create another layer of percussion and visual spectacle! The band’s unique cross genre sound has allowed them to play with a vast array of artists like: Shad, Bedouin Soundclash, USS, Current Swell, D-Sisive, Dinosaur Bones, Saint Alvia, The Balconies, Organ Thieves, StereoKid, Rebel Emergency, The Johnstones, LMT Connection, Scratch (from The Roots), and My Son The Hurricane just to name a few. Theatre Crisp writes their tunes for people who love life and love having a good time. It’s the type of music you could dance your ass off to, or just sit back and chill out. Band Interests Kickin the FUNK! |

Differnet gained widespread international acclaim with their experimental electronica on albums such as "Come On And Bring Back The Brjokén Sounds of Yore" and "The Title of the Record is the Text Printed On the Cover, Or Nothing At All". As Tomas and Anna-Karin now explore the strobing lights of the dancefloor, they continue to draw attention and have already been recognized by Pitchfork, Swedish daily Svenska Dagbladet and Swedish national radio shows P3 Pop and P2 Ström. When Liminals released their debut, the "Hearthand" EP (Friendly Noise, 2009), a video was made by Sebastian Rozenberg for the track "The Swim" and the duo has since made a number of celebrated gigs throughout Sweden and Norway (for example, the Norberg Festival, the Volt Festival in Uppsala and the Phono Festival in Bergen).

Alan was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland in the sixties, trained as an engineer and started work in project management in the energy industry in the seventies. Working in this industry has meant that alan and his family have had to travel the world and live in many locations. Home is now perth, Western Australia, but he lives and works in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His photography is taken to another level and becomes more artwork than simple image capture. Alan describes it as trying to recreate what he actually sees in his mind when taking the photograph. Always a lover of digital art and image manipulation. Alan comes from a expressive, diverse and esoteric background of music, photography and digital arts influenced and guided by his father and his younger brother, [a416887], a pioneering electronic music and video artist as one half of [a2549] and [a2263]. Alan also featured as part of the perth based audio-visual band [a966460] taking up the visual duties alongside james on sounds. | Search | Add | 5 | Братья Покрасс | Pokrass brothers (братья Покрасс) were a duo of Soviet composers Dmitry (1899–1978) and Daniel Pokrass (1905–1954), who composed various popular romances and military songs, including famous marches Red Army Is The Strongest (Красная Армия всех сильней) and Budyonny March (Марш Будённого), as well as the music for numerous feature and documentary films. They were one of the originators of the revolutionary aesthetics in Soviet music, and while critics later saw many of their works as propagandist "poster-songs" and denounced them for blatant obsequiousness to the communist regime, at the time Pokrass tunes were broadly popular all across the Soviet Union. Dmitry and Daniel praised Soviet military leaders and politicians in their songs, namely [a=Joseph Stalin], Kliment Voroshilov, and Semyon Budyonny. In the sixties, some of their songs were censored to remove any mentions of Stalin. Dmitry and Daniel were only two of the four Pokrass siblings active in music. The eldest brother Samuel Pokrass (1897–1939) immigrated to the United States in the end of the twenties and had a fairly successful career as Hollywood and Broadway composer. Sam Pokrass was poisoned in New York in 1939. Arkady Pokrass (1898–196?) was a virtuoso pianist and accompanist for various popular artists, including Natalia Tamara (Mitina-Buynitskaya) and Vadim Kozin. Unlike his more opportunistic brothers, Arkady didn't manage to adapt to the new ideological realities of the Soviet Union. After Kozin was arrested and sent to Kolyma in 1939, Arkady Pokrass abruptly ended his career and not much is known about him ever since. In Soviet musicological literature, the names of Arkady and Samuel were practically erased, so Pokrass brothers were seen as a duo of Dmitry and Daniel.

Under this alias is the veteran Asturian DJ and collector, Sergio Rodríguez, and we say veteran because he was one of the key people in the underground musical network of the city of Gijón since the early 90s. Influenced by garage, Chicago music and the acid-house movement, in 1995 he founded Metro Club Gijón, developing the activity for successive years. His participation in the emblematic Chemistry (Gijón) with the Club Culture project and his residences in the Warsaw and Bossanova, -common stops on the night route of Oviedo and Gijón at the end of the 90s-, stimulated his taste for the disco music, deep house and the more natural sounds of dance music. In the year 2000, his vision of the essence of the club would be recorded with the creation of the Romano club, a musical space converted into a meeting point for nights in Gijón. owns 2 labels..Soy punk pero me gusta el funk.records and Metrojackbeat.records..., an epic universe that will be assembled as an infectious mix of jacking beats, 303 riffs, raw disco and electronica, presented in solid and rigorous 12"s . From the beginning to the present, Sergio has been linked to the scene, frequently participating in independent events, in addition to having continued to manically load his personal discotheque with rare pieces and out-of-print editions. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Moose Malone | Queensland country music band led by veteran guitarist/pedal steel player Jimmy Brelsford, who had been active in bands since 1964, including a period with Bay City Union in 1968, the band began life as a trio "Moose Malone & The Mohairs" in 1975. They soon shortened their name and added players to become a full band, which became very popular in the north. Heavily influenced by the US West Coast scene, most notably Commander Cody, Moose Malone scored a deal with RCA records and recorded one album, and single in 1977. The album was not a huge seller, but it led to them being named Queensland's Best Country Band of the year as well as winning the Tamworth Cup. They then moved to Melbourne in 1978, issuing 2 further non-album singles "Two For The Show" in October of that year and a final one "What are You Doing at the Same Party" in 1979. However they kissed their record deal goodbye after they turned a record company reception for visiting fellow RCA recording artist, John Denver into a riot. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Carlos Marroqui | Carlos Martínez Guevara | Carlos Marroqui, was born in Caracas, Venezuela on September 9, 19 ??. He is a Venezuelan singer and lawyer famous in the 70s. "His interest in music was evident from his early years, when he had the opportunity seven years after starting his apprenticeship with the renowned Creole musician Teófilo León, and in addition to singing he learned to play the cuatro, the guitar and the harp. The beginning of his professional career as a singer is given in 1973, year in which his voice is frequently heard on the stations of the time with the theme "You women ... have no thorns in the heart". After this triumph, he jumps to television, a medium in which he also unfolds naturally and ends up becoming a beloved and familiar face, which interpreted some of the great successes of the time, such as "Amor del alma", "And you have left alone "," Campesina "and" Oropel ", among others. His artistic name, Carlos Marroquí, was a gift from his musical godfather, the unforgettable Alfredo Sadel, who baptized him that way before inviting him to sing with him in the now defunct local "El Jacal", a place where he alternated with important figures of the Latin American music such as Tito Guizar, Carlos Julio Ramírez, Martinha, Luisa María Güell and Roberto Yanés, just to mention a few. Although after becoming a lawyer in 1978, his obligations in this area led him to move away little by little from radio and television, the truth is that Morocco never retired definitively from singing. And how could he do it, if in his few years of almost exclusive dedication to this artistic discipline he left more than sixty songs recorded, besides being nominated for the Golden Guaicaipuro and winning the Diplo 73 and Mara de Oro Awards 1974 as Revelation of the year, Espectáculos y Primerísimo 74. In 2014, he presented a book "Memoirs of a singer", of his own authorship, in which he pays homage to national and foreign performers. Currently, Carlos Marroquí is the founder of a fun group for the elderly called "Our songs of always: from the tango to the ballad". In addition, he continues to perform solo with unquestionable success in each scenario he faces with his melodious voice ". |

| Search | Add | 5 | Bunker13 | Bunker 13 | Bend „Bunker 13”, nastao je aprila, 2016.god. svira alternativni Punk-R’N’R’ sa notom grunge-a, propraćeno iskrenom emocijom i energijom garažnog benda. Kroz svoje nastajanje bend se gradio kroz uticaje bendova i autora kao što su Rolling Stones, Billy Idol, Jimi Hendrix, The Cult, Placebo, Pearl Jam, Allman Brothers Band, Jetro Tull, Halestorm, Jet, Nirvana, Radiohead, Pantera, Sex Pistols, KUD IDijoti, Goblini, Partibrejkers, Džukele, Sham 69, Anti Nowhere League, Buzzcocks, Dead Kennedys, i sl. Bend radi autorsku muziku. U avgustu, 2016. godine, ulaze u studio "Komandant Adam" u Sremskoj Kamenici i snimaju svoj prvi demo singl pod nazivom "Kome da kažem NE?!". |

| Search | Add | 5 | 25Hz | Zürich-based, Australian artist, producer & composer of upbeat Techno, Deep Tech and Tech House as well as darker, experimental electronica. 25Hz was founded in the shards of 2020 yet forged from a lifelong passion for music and inspired by artists from many genres; Beethoven to Bowie, Mussorgsky to Metallica … and beyond. Driven by a constant need to experience new music, 25Hz took the leap into electronic music production when the world seemed to be falling apart in early 2020, compelled by the desire to share these emotions and perhaps move someone else to feel the same. 25Hz music highlights the sides of the individual that resides behind the persona… experimental, dark almost visceral undertones with haunting, frisson-inducing highs; counterposed by dance music with a true sense of fun, bounce and movement that defies genre labels. So why 25Hz? It's linked to what started me in music production, as well as my cat Loki's reactions to my music... 25Hz is the fundamental frequency of a purr... and at its essence is perhaps the ultimate translation of emotion into sound. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Moral Excerpt | Different times require different methods, different problems ask for different solutions. In an era without much sense or reason, without a clear path if not one toward annihilation, old morality becomes an excerpt, a footnote in the abysmal history of mankind. Moral Excerpt is born out of all of this unrelenting decay, a devilish creature without a stable place in time and space. Francesco Presotto, already know as the mind behind the noise outfit Geometria Nervosa and the mutant techno project Søulless, unites forces with music reviewer, underground composer and copywriter Davide Pappalardo a.k.a. Førgotten and Abismø, going one step further in the pursuit of modern noise music with roots in the past. By mixing harsh noise, ambient, orchestral music, rhythmic mantras, they want to achieve a sound with a purpose and far from both today's fashionable scenes and tiresome clichés. Expect a score for our age, sonic comments about politics, society, inner turmoils, and the violent side of existence — rage, melancholy, confusion, moments of epiphany picture a contradictory world with nothing certain but death. | |
