Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Toebow | Toebow was born in Brooklyn in 2013 as a duo, evolving and expanding over the years into a formidable 5-piece band. Described by one reviewer as “a nice dose of shapeshifting, complex art pop” (Brooklyn Vegan), the music of Toebow shimmers with fluttering distorted guitar lines, colorfully layered percussion and bass, tight vocal harmonies, lush synth lines, and the occasional drum machine to tie the gentle chaos neatly together. Wacky by nature but severe in execution, Toebow "artfully straddles the border between sincerity and goofiness” (ThrdCoast) yet their songs often confront the more stoic and somber realms of experience. | |

Waves of looping deep ambient scapes, penetrated with sample fragments and light additional noise-ambient textures form Deison’s silent, minimal frame-set. His works have been released on Silentes Records (Italy), Aagoo (U.S.A.) and various labels in Japan, Germany, Switzerland; new collaboration works emerged with Candor Chasma, Sara Galan and Mingle. » | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Hans Peter Neergård | Hans Peter Neergård (born 1957) grew up in Vatne, a small village on the west coast of Norway. His parents were very active in music, and they were always singing and playing in the house. Hans Peter started playing the piano as soon as he was tall enough to reach the keys, and made his own small melodies from an early age. He often tried to recreate the music he heard on radio, but also received classical piano training. He learned the foundational piano technique these years, but never enjoyed playing by scores. It was more fun to play freely, to play what you heard, or learn the music by ear. Hans Peter also picked up the saxophone, first through the local marching band, but later at several jazz seminars at Molde, a small city known for its jazz festivals. He soon understood that reading scores was important even in jazz music, it helped the musicians communicate. One of the first songs Hans Peter put down on paper was from this period: «Kaktus» from ’78. Later Hans Peter Neergård composed more music and wrote more scores. His compositions are often related to jazz, both rhythmically and harmonically, but can also be traced back to Nordic folk music. He composed for piano, saxophone quartet and orchestras, and many of the songs were performed by local bands and musicians. Six of the songs on this LP were released in the score book «My rhythmic piano», self-released by Hans Peter in 1997. In addition to releasing written scores, Neergård often dreamt about putting some of his music on a record to allow more people to hear it. He’s had his music scores on the shelves for years, but in January 2022 he gathered the courage to record 12 of his own songs in the local studio on a Steinway grand piano. Hans Peter Neergård is the father of [a3317509] and [a9449920]. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Funky Monkey 141 | DJ, Producer, from Malta, born 14 July 1998. Owner of [l=141 Records]. Ever being in love with music, he began to study Althorn and piano getting great results. He was only 14 when he started finding his best musical expression through electronic music, and so he started to DJ. He’s also a producer, a job he considers different from that of a DJ, indeed the studio activity is based on a detailed research of updated sounds. Synth and drum-machine are some of his passions which he cannot help but use, considering essential the need of the hardware. At the age of 17 he launched his first single, “Back In Town”, which is part of his upcoming debut album The BIGinning. Funky Monkey was in the proses of signing a record deal, but since he refused to give a genre to his Tracks, the deal was not accepted. Therefore this meant that despite the music was accepted and up to all standards with the label’s releases because the music was not marketed in a specific genre it got rejected. In today’s society and social inclusion do music genre help? and 1st of all do we rely need to put music and art in boxes? With this mindset he started questioning why was he trying to sign himself with a label that has a boxed vision for music. This was the star of the 141 Records, seeing music as art irrespective of the genre. Another single from the album, "The BIGinning" was released in September 2017, along with its music video. This single, with Russian born artist Abel Nesian, is titled Robustus. Funky Monkey is also the producer for: Oxygyn, REA, Iviè Skies along side other artist and other side project. Funky Monkey's latest single "Let It Fly" ft. Katia Abela and Maria Ellul, with is part of the 141 universe. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Charles Skilton | Charles Sanford Skilton | (b. August 16, 1868 Northampton, Massachusetts – d. March 12, 1941 Lawrence, Kansas) was an American composer and professor of music. A leading member of the American "Indianist" movement, Skilton tried to create a "genuine", national American music by borrowing melodies and rhythms from Native American songs, in the same way that some Classical European composers let themselves be inspired by the traditional folk music of their own countries. Skilton received his Bachelor of Arts from Yale University in 1889. From 1891-1893, he studied music at the Hochschule für Musik in Berlin. Afterwards, he taught music at colleges in North Carolina and New Jersey, until moving to Kansas in 1903, where he served as Dean of the School of Fine Arts at the University of Kansas from 1903-1915 and continued to teach organ, theory and music history afterwards. In 1915, a Winnebago student, George LaMère a.k.a. Chief Ho-ton-ga, awakened Skilton's interest in Native American music. Based on traditional Native American melodies LaMère shared with him, Skilton composed "Two Indian Dances" for string quartet, two pieces called "Deer Dance" and "War Dance" that he later used as parts of his four-movement "Suite Primeval," and three "Indianist" operas. |
