Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Dr Franz | Francesco Paolini | Doc Franz or Dr Franz is a pioneer DJ in the Goa Trance movement that has retired at the age of 49 in 2016. He started his musicianship very early in life in his teens as bass guitar player and then studies conservatory as double bass player and plays rock cover first and then evolves to play jazz rock with top notch musicians...this was from 1981 to 1985. In 1985 he gets to know the electro music that was played in the very first Goa parties with electronic music. This changes his life and as soon as he is free from conscription in 1988 he gets a visa and he is off for 6 months in India - he brings with him tape cassettes with all the music (in vinyls that he records on good quality tapes)) that he can get his hands on (in those days finding "proper" party music meant spending days in record stores around northern Europe as there was not a genre up to 1994 onwards) - EBM, Disco, house, acid house, techno, industrial, etc,. He lives a great 4 years period between Himachal Pradesh (Kullu Valley; Manali area and Parvati valley), and Goa and in both location he plays alongside those that invented the genre like Laurent, Macky (to whom he will then dedicate his label - in loving memory), Vittorio, Hanuman, Rudy, Paolino, and few others....these were 1988 to 1992 seasons. After coming back to Italy he finds hard going to ive in the province and moves to London for 13 years. In 2007 founds Macky Mad House Records or MMHR - the label fades off after the first 5 CDs...but gets revived in May 2013 as "only digital" and as it is this time (Sept. 2016) is still operating and released 6 CDs and 21 digital releases (6 of which albums and the rest EPs. Retired as DJ early (March) 2016 |

(The band was named for a small town near Greenwell’s deer hunting camp.) Unified by their affection for traditional jazz, the membership was flexible and drew on practically all willing players in the northwest corner of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. The personnel included a dentist, a physician, a commercial pilot, several schoolteachers, a machinist, a retail businessman, a librarian, a manufacturer of hunting bows, a dental lab technician, an innkeeper, and a medical technician. The band usually plays with seven members. Four of the original six members have passed away.

| Search | Add | 4 | reirwg | As far as we know, reirwg is an ambient and electronic musician born in Connecticut in the early 2000s. Not much is known about reirwgs’ private life. In 2021, reirwg started his career. He started making vaporwave music in early August 2021 although quickly switched to ambient music and released his eponymous debut album in November 2021, featuring simple synth arrangements paired with longer pieces of drone and experimental ambient music. During 2022, reirwg gained more popularity as a musician among the Discord music community. He released many different albums on Bandcamp under different aliases with different collaborators and on his own. The second official reirwg album, titled “Meditation Music”, came out in December 2022. It features a darker sound than what can be heard on his debut album and is adored by many fans. In October of 2023, reirwg released "Archives", a one-hour thirty-minute ambient project that has been in the works since 2021 which was adored even more and showed an increasing musical evolution coupled with a promising future yet to come. In July of 2024, reirwg released "Enterprises", a forty-two-minute long ambient and drone demo, outtake, and newly finalized music compilation which was worked on from 2022 to 2023. As it stands, "Enterprises" was also well received by fans to an equal or lesser degree of enjoyment comparable to "Archives." Two versions exist of this project, the Bandcamp release and the YouTube release. The YouTube release is notable for its inclusion of bonus tracks not seen in the Bandcamp release. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Mike Boulan | On November 13, 1994, Mike Boulan formed No Cover Productions to record James Glass. He wanted his new company to be different from other record companies. He wanted the artists to have more freedom to create better music. As a guy who spent almost ten years prior to the formation of No Cover doing live recordings for local bands, it is likely he was building towards a record company ownership without even knowing it. Mike says that in the course of doing his live recordings, he came so outraged by the tremendous costs of putting out a CD that he decided to take some classes at the Recording Institute of Detroit to see if he could do better. Studying under the legendary Motown Sound Engineer, Bob Dennis, Mike says he wound up graduating at the top of his class. | |

Some of his most notable appearances have been at Deutschlandfunk’s “Forum Neue Musik” and in the Bayerische Staatsoper’s series “XX/XXI – Neue Kammermusik”, to whose promotion he has dedicated himself. His compositional style is influenced by microtonality, percussive timbres, and sliding sounds. Some of the focal points in his work are time and space, classical philosophy, literature, mythology, and cosmological questions. Dominated by strong rhythmical impulse and experiments with electronic sounds, his music borrows elements from ancient greek tonal systems and rhythmic patterns. | Search | Add | 4 | David Roof | David Roof | As with many engineers, founder/engineer David Roof's fascination with sound came in high school while discovering music from the Beatles to Wynton Marsalis. The range of sounds coming out in the 1980s as he was growing up was amazing. The Beatles "Recording Sessions" book came out teasing what was possible in the studio. From modest beginnings of bouncing sound back and forth between two cassette decks with a Radio Shack mixer and microphone grew over the last 30+ years to today's ever growing arsenal of ProTools and reel to reel tape. David's background includes classical training at the University of Michigan School of Music. He has been an in demand performer on bass, guitar, and more. Classical training, with thousands of hours sitting literally in the middle of a Symphony Orchestra, ears are trained and attuned to the smallest nuance of musical tone, expression and blend. Great recordings are only possible with a mental image of what great tones should sound like. With decades of performance with groups from symphony orchestras, to pop, jazz and Americana, his insight into making great bands is invaluable to coaching bands, making people comfortable and capturing the emotion of your songs. David's reputation is for an easy going, positive vibe in the studio. Fast setups and editing with techniques for coaxing the best performance with the least frustration are his hallmark. The focus is always on realizing and developing your vision of your songs and sound. Rooftop is known for organic tones, live band recording, a fabulous sounding room, songwriter's production, and vintage or modern sonic approaches. |

Composed of four young old men who were teenagers in the 80’s, this band is closer to early retirement than to high school diploma. But they just don’t care about it. El Doggo (Bass, Politrouk, Drinking Manager, Graphic Designer), Durf (Guitar, Toolbox Manager, Animal Cause Manager), Ray (Throat, Catering Manager, Camp Activity Leader, Graphic Designer) and Lolo (Drums, First Aider, Music Theory Teacher) did all play in several bands before Reagan Burger but the information is classified until 2072. Reagan Burger dedicates an obsessional worship to the 80’s hardcore punk, thrashcore and crust. Position that can lead to a death sentence in certain countries and to a total incomprehension on behalf of 98 % of the local population... Reagan Burger is not beautiful, Reagan Burger was not designed to look nice, Reagan Burger smells like sweat, Reagan Burger plays as it can, Reagan Burger chuckles foolishly, Reagan Burger speaks his mind, and thinks what it says, Reagan Burger would like you to listen to it before it get lynched!

| Search | Add | 4 | Kosmic Four | Members: Fear, Dove, Robe, Yota In 1994 Fearo formed a rap group with fellow grafitti partner Doveroc called Kosmic Four. Quickly they began recording and performing at shows throughout L.A. and Orange County. Finding a fan base that mostly consisted of other graff artists, but due to the never ending varieties in subject matter and political overtones, their appeal spread outside the grafitti realm. In 1997 Kosmic Four recorded their first full length independent release, in which the single "Writers Bench" was featured on D.J. ROB ONE'S "West Coast Indies" mixed tape. Kosmic Four has performed along side COOLIO, FREESTYLE FELLOWSHIP, LIVING LEGENDS, PLANET ASIA, BLACK EYED PEAS, DILATED PEOPLES, LOOT PACK, OMD, J-ZONE, VISIONARIES, MEDUSSA, PSYCHO REALM, BEAT JUNKIES among others. In 1998 Kosmic Four collaborated with YOTA ONE on his debut album EXPERIMENT 31 by the JEDEYES. Soon after this in 1999 they released an E.P entitled LOS ANGRYS, as fate would have it YOTA ONE joined them on this project then in turn joined the group. After a fusion of ideals and their love for a true representation of hip hop they quickly began to work on what would be their 12" single dropped in late 2000 for the album BLUE BIRDZ released in july 2001. Kosmic Four's line up stays strong and steady with FEARO, YOTA ONE, and DOVE ROC. In 2003 They released their fifth installment WRITERS BENCH 2. With the Single "LIFE IZ SICK" released on STRONG HOUSE RECORDS as a B side to their release of an ABSTRACT RUDE's "Got It Like That". Since this time the members have been working on solo projects such as Gallery Shows displaying their artwork and new Music. | |
