Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Moritz Majce | Moritz Majce | An artist born in Vienna, living and working in Berlin and Vienna. While studying art and philosophy he began exploring the potentials of a dynamisation of the relationship of artwork and viewer. He developed the ”solo action”, a format between exhibition and performance, in which the spectator perspective as being opposite is dissolved into a point of view that is itself part of the artwork. With reference to ancient beginnings of the viewing dispositive of European art and theatre and a related partitioning of space that is still effective today, he pursues his research on sight and space with various means, from installation to sculpture, over performance and dance to photography and video. Together with Sandra Man he is working on an artistic practice that is based on the conception of space as happening, which incorporates the bodies and senses of the audience. |

Search | Add | 2 | Flatline Transmissions | Flatline Transmissions were an electro-industrial project by [a666125] and [a819529] of [a74423], which in 2004 had gone on hiatus. Together they brought in [a1071058] on keys and Trajik on guitar, spending most of their time focusing on performing live. The group made one release - a demo EP produced by [a30479] of Meat Beat Manifesto in 2005. In May the same year Trajik left the band, leading to him being replaced by [a594624]. However, Mark went MIA in 2006 and Onyx took some time off performing, which meant The_Gun finding new members in Kitt Thompson (Drums) & [a1906417] (Bass) where the trio would change their style to a heavier less electronic feel. Plans were in place around that time to record more material, but none emerged.

Search | Add | 2 | Chrystal Cherniwchan | Chrystal Cherniwchan is a Canadian artist currently living in the UK. She received her BFA in Photography from the Alberta University of the Arts in Calgary, Canada, and her MA in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking from the University of Western England (UWE), in Bristol, UK, where she received the Agassi Book Arts Prize for her degree show installation ‘mishappenings’. Recent highlights include exhibiting in a group show ‘Incarnations: When Photography Takes Shape’ at the Rencontres d’Arles, Arles, France, and featuring in the French publication Fisheye Photo Review Vol.2. She uses photography, video, field recordings, text, and voice in her practice, and considers her projects to be speculative in the way they sit in-between the binaries that still prevail in the discourse around documentary image/sound making. Aiming to create hybrid forms, she likes to test and experiment with digital and analogue captures to see how malleable and stretchy processes can be and take them to a place of 'becoming'. She often uses landscape as a stage to perform and/or appropriate narratives that exist within a place, often pointing towards memory, agency, gender, and class, and is interested in our entanglement with nature.

Owner of a full Digital Recording Studio, were he does all of his work, he has recently finished a couple of albums which are in stores now. And in case some of you are wondering where the name FINGERZ came from, here goes. "I was once laying down a complicated keyboard sequence for a friend" he saids, "and he took a look at my hands and yelled, "You Go, Fingers!" And the rest, as they say, is history". Fingerz' first opportunity to perform professionally came in the movie, EASTSIDE STORY. His group, Boyz In The Lab had a featured track titled "Fragile Heart". While on the set, Fingerz was reunited with friends well known in the music industry such as: Little' Louie Vega, Marc Anthony , and India, just to name afew. In 1990, Fingerz did release a single on his friends label, Brewster Records titled "Nightmares of Tomorrow" which became Free Style Classic of the Month in Pennsilvania the following year. His old partner, and friend, enjoyed the performing side of the business so, that he became one of the lead singers of the internationally known group, The Barrio Boyzz. Fingerz loved the creative side and continued his writing and producing throughout the years. In 1995, Fingerz had a couple of projects credited to his name. One was as writer of "Don't Turn Our Love Away" by Lorenzo D'Lan. And another as Additional Editor of Clear touch's latest album on Mic Mac Records. Recently, Brewster records released a compilation CD which features "Nightmares of Tomorrow" which was written, produced, and recorded by Mr. Felix (PHAT FINGERZ) Colon. Fingerz is currently working on a couple of REGGAE/HIP HOP projects and a REGGAE CD that will be released on his own label, Finger Cell Music. "Reggaeton Platinum", is In Stores Now!
