Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | #0001 | Hans-Peter Fassbender / Thomas Kruesselmann | Behind the simple number combination #0001 hides the complete re-recording of Kraftwerk’s iconic album “Trans Europa Express” from 1977. For this purpose, the two Düsseldorf-based professional musicians Thomas Kruesselmann and Hans-Peter Fassbender have disassembled the original work into all its individual parts in forensic detail work, analyzed it and re-recorded it using modern recording technology. The result is a very balanced and faithful album with a refreshingly modern sound. The fact that this is a completely new recording is revealed above all by Thomas Kruesselmann’s voice: large-diaphragm microphones and tube amplifiers were used here, giving the sparsely used vocals precision, elegance and more presence. The album was analog mastered in Ballfinger Music’s new in-house studio in Krefeld, 20 kilometers north of Duesseldorf. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ricardo J. Martins | Ricardo J. Martins was born in Faro on February 3, 1984. Always influenced by various musical genres he found in Portuguese Guitar how to express his sonorous feelings. Since the first hearing of Carlos Paredes songs, the sound of this instrument showed him the musical path to follow. Although mostly dedicated to accompany Fado, he sees in Portuguese Guitar an enormous capacity as a solo instrument, playing both the Lisbon Guitar and the Coimbra Guitar. He recorded in the year 2014 his first instrumental Portuguese Guitar album called "Ricardo J. Martins", essentially made of adaptations of themes outside the musical environment of Portuguese Guitar and versions of typical songs of the instrument with own arrangements. From this disc stands out the original theme and single "Danças na Eira". Constantly in search of new ways to the instrument, composing and playing, but always without forgetting the roots he edited in 2017 the successor album with the name "Cantos e Lamentos". This work counts with several special participations of musicians and instruments outside the Fado, as it is the case of the recorder, accordion, lyrical voice and percussions, as well as different musical experiences, giving to this work a unique personal stamp that goes from the music Traditional Portuguese music to classical music. In his musical career he presented his music in the most different countries: Portugal, Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Serbia, England, Germany, Ukraine, China, India, Venezuela and Cape Verde. He had the privilege of playing with great names of our musical panorama as is the case of Viviane (Entre Aspas), Marco Rodrigues, Filipa Cardoso, Ana Sofia Varela, Ilda Maria, Ronda dos Quatros Caminhos, Pedro Joia. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Acoustic Sound Hounds | Acoustic Sound Hounds is a Kaufman County, Texas bluegrass band that plays traditional and contemporary bluegrass, country and old gospel while adding its own flavor to the music. Their music has been described as “Bluegrass with Americana Roots.” Always working on new material, the band specializes in writing and performing its own music compositions. The four person band consists of Combine, Texas residents Craig Dennie on banjo, and Phil Boyd on bass; and Cottonwood, Texas residents Jeff Gray on rhythm guitar and Pam Gray on mandolin. The band was formed in 2008 when Pam began playing the mandolin. Phil then put down his guitar and began playing bass. Soon Pam’s husband Jeff, and friend Craig, joined the group and the band was complete by 2009. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Schwartz-Fox Blues Crusade | Though believed to have been lost or to only exist in theory, the lone recording by The Schwartz-Fox Blues Crusade featuring Mr. Stress – consisting of Cleveland legends Glenn Schwartz (guitar/vocals), Jimmy Fox (drums), Bill “Mr. Stress” Miller (vocals/harmonica), Tom Kriss (bass), Rich Kriss (guitar/vocals), and Mike Sands (piano) – is finally being released for music fans to savor and enjoy. Taped one Sunday morning in the Spring of 1967, this piece of true Cleveland folklore that grew out of the Sunday jam sessions at the east side’s The Coffeehouse, this recording could be considered a soundtrack for University Circle when it became the center of the underground in Cleveland in the period of 1965 through 1968. Glenn Schwartz, Jimmy Fox, and Tom Kriss were three of the then five members of the James Gang who respectively played lead guitar, drums, and bass. By the spring of 1967 the James Gang were quickly becoming one of the most beloved bands in Cleveland and the surrounding areas. When Schwartz left the James Gang suddenly in late 1967 to eventually join Pacific Gas & Electric, his guitar pupil, Joe Walsh, took over for him and soon led the James Gang to international success. Guitarist Rich Kriss was between being a member of Chuck Bates & The Barons (whose drummer, Steve Nemeth, would go on to local fame as progressive Cleveland radio DJ Doc Nemo) and The Joyful Wisdom, led by the late Dave Griggs who, next to Schwartz and Robert Jr. Lockwood, was considered one of the finest blues guitarists in Cleveland. Blues harpist and vocalist Bill “Mr. Stress” Miller and pianist Mike Sands were members of an up and coming hard Chicago-style blues group called The Mr. Stress Blues Band which had formed in the late summer of 1966 and would soon become a long running Cleveland institution through which such luminaries as Chrissie Hynde, Peter Laughner, and Vito San Filippo would pass through. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Elbowed-Out | Elbowed-Out were a mixed race group of musicians out of the west coast town of Seattle, Washington, USA. The group’s founding members were lead vocalist Sam Chambliss who also played trumpet. Lead Guitarist Denis Wilcox who also shared lead vocals. Drummer, Clarence Acox, Keyboard player Gaylord Young and a horn section that featured Ray Baldwin, Jabril Radhid and Nick Ceasar. They had all met while studying music at the University of Wasington. Sadly both Gaylord Young and Nick Ceasar are now deceased.(As of 2013) Elbowed-Out became regular performers at local area junior high and high school gigs, their repertoire included cover versions of songs made famous by the Blackbyrds, Crusaders and Herbie Hancock amongst others. They eventually graduated on the Seattle club scene, where they featured as the support act for the likes of James Brown, The O’Jays and Tower Of Power. Elbowed-Out later went out on the road securing touring dates across Canada. A connection was made which led to the band performing in the Pacific islands of Singapore, Indonesia and Japan. But after a period of circa Twenty year’s together they eventually disbanded and all went their separate ways. | |

Heartbrakingly immune to hypes and trends, Thom would much rather see a dancefloor hugging itself into a sunrise, than go shirts-off crazy to the latest peaktime-murder. His own music very much reflects this attitude: while solidly entrenched in a bassheavy foundation, his tracks venture out into dubbed-out space, creating a feel good-void where time stops to matter. |

| Search | Add | 2 | R.B Lonetree | Australian folk musician and poet from NE NSW. RB Lonetree is a singer/song-writer, recording and performing musician and performance poet. He is a regular on the East coast festival circuit in Australia. He is also an artist, freelance investigative journalist, writer of fiction and non-fiction prose, political essays, film scripts and poetry. RB Lonetree’s music and writing is released through his own publishing house, Medicine Road Publications, and Medicine Road Music. RB Lonetree lives on a farm with his two children and partner in far North-eastern NSW in the Bundjalung Aboriginal nation. His music and lyrics derive inspiration from his love of, and exposure to, world cultural and musical traditions and are especially informed by his extensive travels in Andean and Amazonian South America where he has lived and worked extensively amongst indigenous tribes-people learning about ethnobotany, ethnomusicology, folk- healing and shamanic traditions. The lyrical content of his songs also derives impetus from Indian mystical traditions and explore such themes as time and timelessness, transcendence, cosmology, mysticism, ontology and the possibilities and limits of human expression. His work is also inspired and informed by the great land Australia, her myriad peoples and cultures, her stunning landscapes, islands and coasts. During the mid and late 1990’s RB Lonetree lived and worked with shamans in Andean and Amazonian South America, where he was in residence during his doctoral studies in the field of shamanism and folk healing. | |
