Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

He is a tall, well-built, red-haired grandson of his famous detective grandfather, Major Pronin. He appears to be highly skilled with firearms, swordsmanship, and hand-to-hand combat. Search | Add | 4 | Deadsun | Deadsun is a five piece alternative metal band that explodes with energy and purpose. The music ranges from over the top aggressive to contemplative. The pounding rhythms and memorable hooks immediately grab your attention but it is the depth and intelligence of the songwriting that keep people coming back for more. In addition to the catchy songs, deadsun's live shows are volcanic, precise and exhilarating. The story of deadsun begins in 1999 when drummer Adam "bandit" Hempseed and guitarist Rex Arthur met through a mutual friend. The three formed the band that eventually became deadsun. In December of 2001, Hempseed and Arthur teamed up with singer Todd Cadorette. Dee Adman came on board after "Degenerate Matter" was recorded adding the percussive low-end tightness needed to push deadsun's live show over the top. The band quickly developed an ultra-tight high-energy live show that reflects its member's enthusiasm and conviction. Rex adds, "Our goal, every time we play is to give every thing that is in us…to hold nothing back and to always leave the stage knowing we just gave the audience one hell of a show!" After a year of playing gigs locally the band decided to go into the studio and record a demo. What started out as a demo evolved into the full length CD Degenerate Matter. The recording was done in Nashville, TN at The Track House and mixed at the Sound Kitchen. The CD was engineered, co-produced and mixed by Jim Lightman who had recorded everything from Hank III to Full Devil Jacket to India Arie. Deadsun released their CD Degenerate Matter on March 6th of 2004 in front of a packed house at the Blue Sky Court in Nashville. Deadsun is playing shows regionally every weekend, creating quite a "buzz" and winning new fans in every city they visit. Deadsun is currently in the process of assembling regional street teams to further expand their fan base. Ultimately, the goal of the band is Major Label release/distribution for their CD Degenerate Matter and to prominence on the international hard rock scene. Deadsun is a band on the brink and will not be denied.

Moving to the U.K. in the late 1970s. In 2021 Nick Saloman of the Bevis Frond who was ceasing to release on his Woznorow record label and starting a new label, Blue Matter, heard songs originally intended for a self release; he asked to release the Lp on Record and Cd as 'All Change At The 5 and Dime'. His style is hard to pin down, but seems to be a combination of Country influences, Gothic Americana, touches of Folk and Folk Psych and with personal experience often at the centre of many of the songs. Songs which fit into the tradition of the Singer Songwriter. His lyrics are often concerned with the passage of time, love and family and utilise the imagery of the natural world to express these themes. His sound has been likened to Calexico, Iron and Wine, Bruce Cockburn, Nick Drake and Tim Buckley. He says he's been influenced variously by, Roy Harper, Nick Drake, Steve Young, Ashra Temple, Gong, George Jones, Townes Van Zandt, The Velvet Underground, Pentangle, Fairport Convention, The Handsome Family, The Trees, Anne Briggs, Bridget St. John, Earth Opera, John Martyn, Sandy Denny and The incredible String Band. |

At age 14, Laurent was introduced to Digital Audio Workstations (DAW), which offered a new platform for expressing his musical creativity. This set off his journey into professional music production. Being exposed to different kinds of musical genre’s during his childhood resulted in Laurent experimenting with a broad range of musical styles. In 2008 he participated in the “Going to Hell – VIPZONE CONTEST No. 6” where he ranked third place. After producing a number of remix tracks, Laurent collaborated with many talented artists and developed his own unique style. In 2018 he decided to work under his own alias and released his very first collaboration EP with the artist Brohlin, named Misfit Avenue, where he showed his potential with musical productions influenced by funk, jazz and blues. In 2019, Mr. Beemer released his first solo EP named Alteration, showcasing his skills as an artist and his ability to produce different styles of music. |

Search | Add | 4 | Ruth Rodeheaver | American soprano, born January 13, 1898 in Jellicoe, Tennessee; died February 7, 1979 in Winona Lake, Indiana. Ruth Rodeheaver was a younger sister of singer and gospel music publisher Homer Rodeheaver. Growing up in Jellicoe, she was best friends with another aspiring soprano, Grace Moore, and both were enamored of soprano Amelita Galli-Curci, who often sang as a featured performer in religious revival meetings. Ruth made her first recordings in the form of test records made at Victor in June 1920, but all were rejected, and her recording debut was on the first release of her broher Homer Rodeheaver's Rainbow Records label singing "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," though she was not credited. She continued to record for Rainbow and Gennett through 1925 while attending to voice lessons in New York City; Grace Moore was her roomate there. In 1926, Ruth returned to Winona Lake and married Jim Thomas, the manager of the Rodeheaver Company's manufacturing plant. For some time in the 1930s, she was estranged from her husband, moving to Florida where she taught music to elementary school children and hosted a radio show. However, the couple eventually reconciled. After Grace Moore's death in an airplane crash in 1947, Ruth Rodeheaver resumed recording under her married name of Ruth Rodeheaver Thomas with her brother's revitalized Rainbow label. Her last commerical recordings were made for International Sacred in 1955, though still later ones exist on tape at the Winona History Center in Winona Lake, Indiana.

In 1961, personnel changes began and Joe Sipots replaced Joe Rook as lead. A year later, brothers, Gary and Jack Harding joined as tenor and baritone. Lead number three, Jim Meehan, then joined them in 1963. The Golden Staters began competing in 1962 and won the fall Far Western District championship in 1963. They qualified for their first international contest and came in 7th place. They came in 6th place in 1965. Following the 1965 international contest, Jim Meehan left the quartet. After Jim Meehan left the quartet, Ken Ludwick joined as the new lead and they began their contest climb. They rose to 4th place bronze medalists in 1966. They slipped back into 5th in 1967 but jumped up to 3rd in 1968. During this time, they released their first record entitled, “Oh How We Roared In The 20’s.” In 1969, they were awarded with 2nd place silver medals, then tragedy struck. Ken Ludwick was involved in an automobile accident which forced him to have to leave the quartet. They sat out the 1970 international contest hoping to find a new lead. In late 1970, the Golden Staters found their new lead, Milt Christensen. Milt Christensen came to the Golden Staters from the recently disbanded “Salt Flats”, a comedy quartet from Salt Lake City, Utah. They placed 3rd with Milt in 1971. They finally won it all in 1972 in Atlanta, Georgia. They released their second album following their championship which was titled, “Two Sides Two Sounds.” The Golden Staters retired in 1975. They came out of retirement in 1978 and performed again until May of 1979 when Mike Senter suddenly died at age 39. Jack Harding died in 2003 at age 71 and Milt Christensen died in 2018 at age 86. Today only Gary Harding survives. They released two compilation albums after their active years.
