Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | GavinDaVinci | GavinDaVinci moved to Limerick from Tipperary in 2017 and began producing an album titled "Mr. MAAD The Inventor". By the time the project was complete, he had linked up with the earliest form of PX Music, notably DJ Replay and producer Akia, to release the album as the first project through the soon-to-be label. Since then, he has played every city in Ireland, building a reputation for raucous shows. He has since self-produced another album titled "superscumbagmode" to notoriety across the country. GavinDaVinci has been in the lists for top Irish artists from passionweiss, Nialler9 and District Magazine, and also won a fan-based vote for Best Music Video of the Year (2019) through new trend Squick. 2020 has seen him release another self-produced EP titled "Please, don't listen to my shit if you love me". Production credits include; Post Punk Podge, Hazey Haze and Murli. "What differentiates DaVinci and his crew from this current class of rappers is their steadfast commitment to re-imagining ‘90’s street rap through a contemporary working-class Irish lens. It’s like Griselda Records minus the gangster realism and the black American perspective—neo-noir dispatches from forgotten parts of modern Ireland where brawling, drug-fueled binges, unrequited love, and treacherous betrayals are an everyday thing. Just don’t ask them how to cook crack." - Passion Weiss "Plenty of filthy bass-lines, eerie samples, and scumbag based lyricism" - District Magazine “Transcending genres and tearing up the rule book when it comes to writing a hip hop album” – Prima Volta “DaVinci displays a flare for the self aware, penning from a perspective that oozes understanding and maturity” – Nialler9 “Brusque accented rap” – Notion Magazine "A madcap performer who shreds Hiberno-English into bloodstained, zany rap, DaVinci is the group’s ODB, but somehow also its RZA. His refreshingly strange songs show why, and how, the unvarnished rural Irish accent can work in rap." - VICE | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Helsinki Horizon | Helsinki Horizon, an alt-rock ensemble from Scandinavia, traces its roots back to 2008 when Snorre began recording demos and composing music. In 2012, viNd and Geir joined the project, marking the band's first live performances. Their debut EP, "Signal Flares," was released in 2021, receiving critical acclaim and massive support from the post-rock community. The band's earlier experiences in the underground metal scene brought a complementary and honest addition to their organic and melodic compositions, infusing both savagery and fierce simplicity into their music. Influenced by artists like Radiohead, Mogwai, M83, and Max Richter, Helsinki Horizon's music transcends genre barriers, incorporating experimental elements such as Tesla coil emulated Cello distortion and 8-bit crushed bass-harmonicas. In 2024, the band unveiled their debut album "Sirens," which explores darker, moodier concepts while departing from conformity. Collaborating with Stockholm-based avant-garde pop act Öllegård on vocals, the band achieved a new level of sonic innovation, pushing beyond conventional boundaries. Their music draws inspiration from human struggles, philosophy, nature, and societal issues, intertwined with cinematic and literary influences. Helsinki Horizon comprises Snorre, who handles guitars, bass and keys, along with Öllegård on vocals, viNd on guitars, and Geir on drums. Their collective artistry and dedication have propelled Helsinki Horizon into the nordic alt-rock scene, captivating audiences with their distinctive Scandinavian sound and unwavering commitment to musical innovation. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Сини Степів | Montreal's Syny Stepiv (Sons of the Steppes) are remembered today as pioneers of Ukrainian zabava music. Though Rushnychok broke onto the scene first, Syny Stepiv were a close second behind them, and many people considered the "Syny" a much more musically accomplished ensemble - in fact, possibly more accomplished than most all other zabava bands at the time! After their first few shows, it didn't take long for Syny Stepiv to gain acclaim as their audiences began admiring their musical talents and abilities, and also falling in love with their multi-harmony vocal style. The members of the group had each developed and honed these talents while previously playing and singing with various other ensembles - in many different genres of music: folk, rock, jazz and traditional ethnic. They each brought these talents and backgrounds to Syny Stepiv and, as a group, blended them to create a fresh and inspiring sound. As accomplished musicians, each member of Syny Stepiv was competent at a number of different musical instruments. In fact, the guys would regularly join other zabava and concert bands on stage as special guests or fill-in musicians. At the height of their popularity, Syny Stepiv would play an exhausting number of shows each year. In 1976 alone, they played functions in New York, Newark, Yonkers, Passaic, Parma, Rochester, Detroit, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Chicago, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Hamilton, and Saskatoon! During their time together, Syny Stepiv released three albums that stand today as classics in the collective Ukrainian-Canadian music oeuvre. So esteemed were the band, that Ukrainian lyricists and songwriters would often submit musical works to the quartet with the chance hope that their songs could end up in Syny Stepiv's live or recorded repertoire! The members of Syny Stepiv: Adrian Alboshchy - Rhythm Guitar (v.II, & v.III) Taras Didus - Accordion Jaroslaw Gudzio - Rhythm & Lead Guitar (v.I, & v.III) Tino Papa - Drums Jaroslaw Workewych - Lead Guitar (v.I, & v.II) (Adrian Alboshchy & Tino Papa would later go on to play in Chornomortsi and Vechirnyy Dzvin.) | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Kristen Lee Sergeant | Kristen Lee Sergeant is a jazz vocalist and composer of effervescent energy, musical intensity and dramatic flair. DownBeat Magazine has given both her albums the distinction of being an Editor’s Pick, citing how she “crafts moments of engaging drama, whether she’s seductively sliding into a note with a near-whisper, delivering a breathy revelation or belting out a lyric with full-throated muscularity.” She commits to telling a story in her music and performance style, while sparking spontaneous sonic conversation with her fellow musicians. Such commitment, and its results, captivate her audiences, whether in live performance or listening to her recordings. Kristen’s current release, Smolder, is a story of fire — love ignited, ablaze and extinguished. DownBeat critic Bobby Reed writes “This elegant album illustrates what can happen when admirable ambition is paired with vocal vibrancy.” Alongside her inventive arrangements of jazz standards and pop hits, she also makes her debut as a songwriter of originality and craft. “Balm/Burn”, one of the originals, also provides the music for her first music video that has been lauded by pop and jazz critics alike. NeuFutur commented that with this video Kirsten “is able to refresh a storied jazz vocal tradition that traces its way back about 100 years.” Sergeant studied classical voice and had an extensive career as a stage actress before moving to NYC, where she found the intimacy of cabaret compelling, and eventually fell in love with jazz. “It wasn’t really a choice; I was captured by the music.” Kristen recollects, citing Marilyn Maye, Carmen McRae and Mark Murphy as inspirations, then and today. She began singing with a big band, worked with small combos in cigar bars, hookah lounges, nursing homes, “wherever I could”, she adds. Coupled with intensive study with singer/composer Tom Lellis, she evolved her vocal style and musicianship in a totally new direction, taking the best of what stage training offered and crafting her approach to jazz with intensive work. She won the Jazz Forum Arts vocal competition in 2014, and in addition to enthusiastic acclaim for her first album, Kristen has also performed at Birdland, Iridium, Zinc Bar, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Joe’s Pub and L.A.'s BlueWhale. In addition to her work in music, she is also a certified sommelier with experience in some of NYC’s best restaurants. Her creativity found its way into her work with wine in Two Notes, a Bordeaux blend from California she created with Ted Nash. | |
