Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | Faye Yates | Iona "Faye" Yates | Faye was born on December 28, 1946 in Leander, TX to Bob Hart and Emalee Maxey Hart. Faye was known as a singer, song writer and Christian evangelist. She had a deep passion for ministering to the broken hearted and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through her music ministry, and any other means the Lord presented her. She was full of spunk and funny too, yet very serious about her love for the Lord. She recorded six albums in Nashville that were full of music that presented important biblical truths. To Faye the focal part of a song was the message. For this reason, she would often write her own songs in order to proclaim a message that was very personal to her. Although she had the pleasure of working with many notable Christian speakers and ministries across the country, she thoroughly enjoyed every opportunity to sing the national anthem for the San Antonio Spurs, the San Antonio Missions and many other venues. She received a number of awards over the years for her singing and song writing and performed at numerous venues across the country, and several international venues as well. There were also a number of opportunities on various TV and radio programs. In her book, “Thank You for the Valley,” she tells a personal story of triumph when life’s journey took her where she didn’t want to go and is based on the experience of raising April, her Down’s syndrome daughter. Faye also authored and presented a Christian conference entitled “Hope Beyond Imagination”, where she spoke on how to maintain your hope and joy regardless of life’s circumstances. But, above all else, she was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. Iona “Faye” Yates, a resident of New Braunfels, Texas, was relieved of her long struggle with Alzheimer’s when she passed away late Christmas night, December 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family, just 3 days before her 71st birthday. |

Search | Add | 4 | M'am Berthiaume | Irène Laplante | Canadian (Quebec) country & western / folk / traditional singer-songwriter and author from the Beauce region born in 1918 and died in 1999. She composes and sings folk songs for all circumstances (golden wedding, church, dance parties, etc.) and has a collection of more than 500 songs of her compositions. Note that all his songs are engraved in his head. One day, a certain Mr. Gagné from Laval University came to find her to get her songs from yesteryear in order to keep them in the archives. Without any papers, she recorded 159 songs for him. "It was a pleasure for me," she said. Then Radio-Canada came to meet her to interview her and sing her songs. There seemed to be a lot of interest in his rich talent. Soon after, an artist from the Bonanza company came to meet her and made her understand that she would end up losing everything if she continued not to want to sing on television. Born in Ste-Marie de Beauce or St-Elzéar de Beauce. |

Search | Add | 4 | Rustre | Lukas Schöttner | Rustre's songs negotiate opposites. His figures move between melancholic doubt and detached confidence. They ask questions and search for answers. And where human language reaches its limits and becomes a cage of thoughts, music becomes a universal means of expression. The singer and musician from Leipzig consciously searches for friction, uncompromisingly combines analogue instruments with electronic sequences and natural field recording samples with melodically blurred soundscapes - all arranged, recorded and mixed by himself. Rustre gives things the time they need. And thus, canonical song structures are dissolved, clear lines are broken. Instead: impatient rhythms, distorted bass guitars and warped instruments, rustling sound samples that first creep in quietly, building up layer by layer, to rage into a powerful discharge. Often, the songs end somewhere completely different than where they started. Everything may be as it is. |

Search | Add | 4 | Peel MD | "Swedish duo PEEL MD was formed in 2008 after Tomrum finally managed to persuade A. Stantz that they should jam together. The core of their sound is driving drums, 303's (there's something particular about them), noise-free midi, lots of fx and a dub approach to the often cheap mixer desk. Since their 2012 debut "Grip EP" on Börft Records (which blew the ears off the Swedish underground with its 120bpm dirty and wobbly psychotic acid techno) the releases have kept coming. The foundations of their music lie back in the early 90's; they both grew up on the countryside outside the town Örebro, both were dreamers and were pretty much alone to be into house and techno, plus they both had older brothers that where into synth music. This shared background led to a friendship that later evolved into PEEL MD. They quickly discovered they worked good together and while Tomrum was an awkwardly-obsessive sound junkie, A. Stantz had a feel for how to mould their acid explorations into something danceable with a beginning, middle and an end. They also discovered they both had a slight hearing impairment but luckily in different ears, so together they would still be able to hear in stereo. Sometimes the sum of two takes it all to another level, and PEEL MD, one of Sweden’s best kept underground secrets, is a great example of this!" Joakim Cosmo - DJ/Artist (Börft Records, Spazio Records)

In 2012 she became a member of the Schiffbruch event crew whose ethos is great music and harmonic energy. Josephine soon became a regular on Berlin’s club and underground scene, frequently playing her trippy style of music at some of the most influential locations including Mensch Meier, Rummels Bucht & Sisyphos. In 2016, Yuli Fershtat aka Perfect Stranger and Gabi 2B invited her to be part of the Digital Structures team as a label DJ. After 10 years spinning as Josephine Wedekind she started Ayjo as a platform to express a more downtempo, psychedelic & experimental sound. She conceives that ‘Music is without borders, unlimited by genre, it’s simply a representation of taste’. To get more insight just listen to the compilation she created for Digital Structures. Search | Add | 4 | Geoffrey Wood | Geoffrey Wood is an American singer-songwriter and musician based in Atlanta. The son of two musicians, Geoffrey grew up in a musical household and received a trumpet on his 5th birthday. He began teaching himself guitar in middle school and writing songs of his own shortly thereafter. After studying trumpet in college he began working as a freelance musician and educator. In demand as a performer, composer and arranger he plays and writes for numerous groups in styles ranging from classical to jazz, funk and rock. While he was successfully creating music for other projects he found himself with a collection of material heavily influenced by some of the artists he grew up loving; Bob Dylan, The Band and Wilco. With no existing projects ready to cover that music, Geoffrey assembled a new band featuring Kelly McCarty on Bass, Rhett Huffman on Keys, Matt ‘Pistol’ Stoessel on Pedal Steel and Colin Agnew on Drums. Over three days in January of 2023 his first solo album, Thank You was recorded at La Gazza Studio in Madison, GA. Agnew also produced, engineered and mixed the record. Named in tribute to the people and places that inspired his music, Thank You is a musical expression of gratitude for the journey that he’s had so far. In January of 2024 Geoff began working on an EP set for release later this year. Again recording with Colin Agnew and kelly Mccarty, this new ep will feature some familiar sounding material as well as a departure from the style established on Thank You. Geoffrey’s music is available on all streaming platforms and live videos can be found on youtube. for booking inquiries contact gpwbooking@gmail.com.

Search | Add | 4 | Tito Haensel | Its musical history begins as a result of the theft of a guitar at 6 or 7 years. Yes, as he reads it, a robbery. Heansel felt a special attraction - and uncontrollable - for the ropes: "I was with my dad at the Yaguachi festivities (when these were an apotheosis thing) and I saw a guitar in one of the stalls, I asked him to buy it and he refused , but I did not stay with the pike, I reached for it and I ran. " When "doing that little prank", the owners of the place persecuted him and his father had to pay for the instrument. When he tells this story he lets out a knowing smile: "I took the guitar to the house and that's where everything started". At age 12, he met the musician Joaquín Naranjo in his neighborhood (in all of Pedro Moncayo and Padre Solano). He confesses: "When I saw him play, my fascination for music grew even more". With Naranjo he learned to sing the chords. Already "with a bigger and more professional guitar", he began to "take out" songs that he played with his "gallada". "I remember that I put a group of outlaws into the home of my poor parents (that's how he calls his musical friends) and made a scandal that you can not imagine," he laughs. "That was a time when the electric guitar was a myth, a novelty, not to mention the bass, that nobody had," says this before commenting that to facilitate the scenario, ingenuity is always appropriate: "We used to take a guitar and we put four strings. " Remember that, before, being a musician was playing for the love of the shirt, the difficulty of practicing this activity was not only limited by the economic aspect, but by the social stigma that existed: "Living from music was frowned upon, that is to say that you were drunk, drug addict and parrandero ". Already at age 17, "and more knowledgeable (experienced) in this art" recognizes that he began to "work in music and fail in studies" -he made his high school at the National Institute-. One of the stories he remembers most of that time is the occasion when he participated in an intercollegiate contest of musical bands where he won first place and "other things". "I played with my teeth. I arrived with the prize to the school and the rector told me: 'Pay the fees you owe for a pension and consider yourself a graduate' ". In addition to these 'recognitions', and after the presentation the afternoon of the contest, Josefina de Vallarino contacted him to make a suggestion: "Come to Los Corvets". He also joined groups such as Marfil and Canela, and accompanied on stage national artists Lucho Silva and Enrique González and international Leo Dan, Alberto Cortez and others, he was also a musician at the Fediscos label. Currently belongs to the Pyramide group and has its own studio. He declares that the guitar is his spoon, part of his body, and that he will continue to make music long, because despite the difficult moments, "which never fail", he always looks at things from a positive point.
