Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Statsradiofoniens Orkester | Statsradiofoniens Orkester, also referred to as Radio-Orkestret, was the name of the first orchestra of [l=Den Danske Statsradiofoni], the Danish national broadcasting corporation, from 1925 to 1942. One of the world’s oldest radio orchestras, it debuted with 11 musicians on 28 October 1925 conducted by [a=Launy Grøndahl] in a studio concert transmitted nationwide in Denmark. During the first few years the orchestra gradually grew to over 30 permanent musicians. [a=Emil Reesen] was employed as conductor in 1927 and the orchestra performed in public for the first time the same year. In 1928 it began to play regular weekly radio concerts. [a=Nicolai Malko] was recruited in 1930 as a regular guest conductor, and by 1931 it employed 58 musicians. Early concerts took place in the Axelborg building in Copenhagen. In 1931 the orchestra began to perform at Stærekassen (later renamed to [l=Det Kongelige Teater, Nye Scene]). In 1933 the weekly radio concert was given the name "Torsdagskoncert", a name it has kept to current date. After going into exile from nazi-Germany in the 1930’s, [a=Fritz Busch] worked extensively as a conductor of the orchestra. In 1942 the orchestra evolved into [a=Statsradiofoniens Symfoniorkester] under the direction of [a=Erik Tuxen] (1936-57). The name of the orchestra has evolved over time as follows: - From 1925 to 1942: Statsradiofoniens Orkester - From 1942 to 1959: [a=Statsradiofoniens Symfoniorkester] - From 1959 to 1996: [a=Danmarks Radios Symfoniorkester] - From 1996 to 2008: [a=DR Radiosymfoniorkestret] - Since 2008: [a=DR SymfoniOrkestret]

Search | Add | 2 | Mateusz Merkel | Mateusz Merkel also known as The Acolyte, born in 1990 in Poland started his EDM interest in the late 2002 stealing CD’s from his sister with some funky electro. He found out some harder genres back then such as hardstyle and hardtrance, but unfortunately he lost interest in modern music and went underground with raw industrial and broken beats. He bought his first CDJ’s and started to play with them. He found out mixing is not enough and wanted to mess a little with the sounds as well. His first productions came out in the late 2009 and are developing into any hardcore genre and experimental broken beats and dark atmosphere. He is a co-founder of the free experimental Polish netlabel called [l173813] along with [a1643690] and they both do their best to show not known, but talented producers to the scene and give them a little exposure so the real hardcore junkies would have a sneak peek into the music made by people, for people. He is now doing his best to have the most fun he can out of music along with his label crew, so they’d enjoy the parties they perform at the most.

Search | Add | 2 | Jakob Aljaž | Jakob Aljaž (born 7 June 1845, died 5 April 1927 ) was a Slovene Roman Catholic priest, composer and mountaineer. Aljaž was born in a small Upper Carniolan village of Zavrh pod Šmarno Goro, northeast of Ljubljana, in what was then the Austrian Empire. He was a priest and also a successful composer, singer and choir master. His works are still very popular among Slovenes. He became known by having mountain huts built throughout the Julian Alps, which fostered the development of mountaineering in the Slovene Lands. By far his most well known construction is the Aljaž Tower, built on the summit of Mount Triglav, the highest mountain of the Julian Alps and of Slovenia. He also arranged several hiking paths to be laid out, enabling more visitors to come to the mountains.

Search | Add | 2 | SPK/PF(H) | The foundation and development of the SPK (Socialist Patients' Collective) was started in 1968 by Dr. Huber at the Policlinic of the Psychiatric University Clinic, Heidelberg, Germany. After two troubled years including police raids, several arrests and confinements the SPK was strategically dissolved in 1971 in an attempt to prevent further harm to Huber and the patients. In 1972 Dr. Huber and his wife were sentenced to 4.5 years in prison. In 1973 while in solitary confinement in the Stammheim prison Huber proclaimed the Patientenfront (Patients' Front) as a continuation and back-to-the-roots of the SPK, from then on mostly referred to as SPK/PF(H).
