Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 KYZR KYZR is dutch brothers, producers and multi-instrumentalists Marcel and Stefan . Groomed for years in a variety of local indie acts and bands, KYZR is their well- aimed shot at a larger stage. KYZR stand out for their uplifting vibes and reliance on video imagery. Mixing and mastering engineers Blake Eiseman (Jay-Z, Usher) and Colin Leonard (Ludacris, Beyoncé) crossed the t's and dotted the i's on the production of their releases. 2017-2019 KYZR released The 7 Adventure. A music and art project that consists of 7 songs with 7 hand-drawn and imaginative OneMinuteVideos in a timeless narrative about a boy and a girl in the modern ages. As soon as KYZR started featuring Erik Frisberg (Sweden) on vocals, they got noticed and appreciated by many blogstations, Youtube channels & Spotify curators in the US, Canada, Brazil, Australia & many countries in Europe. The match with Frisberg was born, and KYZR decided to prolong the productive cooperation. De Wolfe In spring 2019 their music was noticed by DWD studios (UK). The sync-agency introduced the brothers at major sync label DeWolfe Music in New York City, USA. KYZR has been signed as Featured Artist on De Wolfe’s 1Stoplabel (www.dw1stop.com) represented in 30 countries around the globe for collaboration with the game-, advertising- and film (series) industry. KYZR made a final contribution to The 7 Adventure with animator Egon de Regt by connecting all animated videos, bringing it into one story, accompanied by a ten minute soundtrack, blending orchestra into the electronic music of the Album. As a result, 'The 7 Adventure' was released as an Animated Short Film that came along with the first album of the brothers. Remix Series During the journey of their debut KYZR met various producers. New collabs have blossomed and led to a series of remixes. These reworks in different styles were released one by one in 2020, gathered in the Spotify playlist called Night Adventures. The Time is Right In the beginning of Covid (early spring 2020) the brothers were asked by promotor Maverick Events to write a retro disco song with strong female vocals. In this project KYZR worked with several artists from the US to make it happen: Chevon Coleman (leadvocals & gospelarrangement), Lauryn & Simone Wilson (gospelvocals) and Will Allen jr. (trombone, trumpets, French Horn). The track will be released soon. The Second Album After their father passed away in the fall of 2019, the brothers found new ways and inspiration for new material. Digging deeper and sketching songs from the heart, KYZR is now working on more than 20 cinematic, pop/rock orientated tracks, again with Erik Frisberg. The album will probably be released in the spring of 2023. Source: https://www.kyzrmusic.com/

Search Add 2 Deepender Nu Metal/Rapcore band from Colorado, United States. Hailing from the state of Colorado, the gentlemen who make up the Deepender corporation (D3C for short) are an eclectic group of guys impassioned to make heavy, ardent, yet addictive music. Blending styles unique to each members personality, then focusing it with a metal edge, D3C has a sound all it's own. If you listen closely, you can hear the echos of 70's funk, modern hip hop, 60's punk, and even some 80's synthpop hiding in the spaces of metal riffs and growly vocals. This music is something you've yet to hear. Relying on the un-yielding spirit to create something unique, the boys from Deepender have combined the catchy and the aggressive. Something to bounce your head to, and not feel like a complete sissy. If you need a grove, they'll drop it. If you need a powerchord, they'll play it. Melody, check. Throatbleeding roars, check. Guitar riffs dripping with tone and edge, you got it. Sometimes you need to throw down and let go. Other times you need to hang back and listen. This albums got you covered. You must see this band live! From the drop of the first downbeat to the last droning feedback sqeal, D3C gives it fans everything you'd expect from a rock show. 6 musicians playing with the intensity and enthusiasm that comes from a desire to share their music with their fans. Every sweat drenched note. When pressed to describe their style, you'll hear the word 'sledgehammer'. one swing and your out...

Search Add 2 Stones Moyo Reginald Moyo is a Rapper, Singer, Songwriter and Producer, popularly known as Stones Moyo. He was born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. On the 18th of June he released his debut EP titled "Thinking About You" independently. Stones sees himself as an experimental artist as quoted in an interview, "I believe to be unique you've got to be willing to experiment. I feel like a lot of artists want to sound like other artists or make beats that sound like other people's beats. I for one am not scared to be different hence I experiment quite a lot." Stones Moyo has produced for artists of the calibre of Lord Skeelz, Leslie Fish, Choonkie Malete, Dee Moses and Melody Lerato. He continues striving to build a uniquely authentic sound that is true to his roots and personality and has promised to release a series of singles and EPs, as he has begun doing, leading to a grand debut album in the nearest future!

Search Add 2 Dark Skies Have Fallen Dark Skies Have Fallen was a five-piece metalcore band from Naples, Florida, originally formed in the winter of 2003. Their sound blended metal and hardcore, drawing influence from black metal, death metal, and hardcore punk. The band was known for dark riffing, melodic harmonies, heavy drumming, and harsh vocals. The group began with Lafe Flynn, Adam Whited, and Brodie Wheeler, practicing with just two guitars and vocals while writing early material. Soon after, Nick (drums) and Joe (bass), both from the band Evil Existence, joined temporarily to help the band perform their first live show. Drums were later taken over by Adam’s brother, Chris, while the bass role shifted multiple times: first filled briefly by Pedro (ex-With Vengeance), and then by Adam himself, who continued contributing to guitar writing as well. The lineup solidified with the addition of guitarist Wayne Lai. With this formation, the band played numerous shows across Naples, Fort Myers, and Miami, steadily building momentum and seeking to expand their reach. After a year of writing and performing, the band decided to take on a new identity. In October 2004, the band officially changed its name to [a8102470]. This was a project that was active for approximately another year, before the members later regrouped under a new name, [a4059038], active until 2017, and officially disbanded in 2019.

Search Add 2 Trueno Azul Heavy Metal / Hard Rock band from La Paz, Bolivia. After recording a demo, the band signed with the [l=Discolandia] label to rerecord the songs for an official release, but their virtuoso lead guitarist Mario Ibáñez tragically passed away before they could enter the studio. The original versions recorded for the demo were used on their unique release that the remaining members named "Mario" as an homage to their leader. Following the release of the single, the band broke up. The "40 Años De Rock Boliviano 1963 - 2003" Compilation [Discolandia, 2003] later featured their song "El Corcel Negro". TRUENO AZUL is one of the most iconic bands of the initial era of Bolivian heavy metal, originating in the Miraflores neighborhood of the city of La Paz, thanks to the musical union of two families, the Ibañez and the Morales. The origin of the band dates back to the first half of the decade of the 80s, constituting itself primarily as a band of covers of the greatest and most famous influences of heavy metal worldwide, which was represented in the intercollegiate festivals at the Colegio San Calixto, between the years 1982 and 1983, most recently position themselves as one of the favorites of the pace scene in the media of 1985 who brought out all their talent as far as the interior of the country playing scenes as big as the Trilogy and Rhapsody of Santa Cruz among the caliber of invitees and representatives of the pace rock scene. Following the birth of Mauricio Torres del Puesto as vocal lead in the band in 1986: Gonzalo Emil Ibañez, first and master of the guitarists Alejandro Ibañez and Mario Ibañez, on the other hand we hold the masters Jose Luis Morales on the bass and Juan Carlos Morales on the drums; This formation would take TRUENO AZUL to the pinnacle of its car. They participated with great success in the "Monstruo" festival which took place at the Teatro al Aire Libre in August 1987 at Argos and Surmenage, other important festivals such as "Rock Bol 87", which took place at the Coliseo Cerrado at Puca´s, Luz de América and Wara among others; The National Rock Festival in Russia joined the great local "Heavy Metal", also in the Intercollegiales organized by Trilogy and Rhapsodia in 1987 in distinct scenes. In the second half of 1987, the group met in the process of recording their first EP, in Yecid Benavidez's R&B studios, when a second tragedy occurred due to the death of the group's first guitarist MARIO IBAÑEZ. Shortly after this the band would access the demo on the Discolandia MCB track (MS-7), the same theme would revolve around a simple home that the band wanted to return to "Mario" and in this way the album was titled in this way, containing two songs: "El Corcel Negro" and "Sabor a Metal" In 1988, the concert "Homenaje a Mario Ibanez" was performed at the Teatro Municipal de La Paz, with the participation of Prinks, Dies Irae, Om and Laura Hess. Additionally, an unprecedented award ceremony was held to honor the best young musicians of the year 87, where the late Trueno Azul guitarist received a posthumous award. Despite the tragic loss of their leader, the band, now a solid quatuor, continued to produce themselves on stage, and in 1988, a memorable return concert took place at the Teatro al Aire Libre on 26 June, alongside the Alto Voltaje, Black Mass and Public Opinion bands. After a few shows, the band finally dissolved, leaving behind its existence a rock myth that has lasted for more than 35 years. TRUENO AZUL "legacy" 1986 line-up : Jose Luis Morales (Bass) Alejandro Ibañez (Rhythm Guitar) Gonzalo Emil Ibañez (Vocals) Juan Carlos Morales (Drums) Mario Ibañez (Lead Guitar) Mauricio Torres (Vocals : 1982-1983) Luis Carrión (Vocals : 1981)

Search Add 2 Stan Fedorowski Stanley Peter Fedorowski, Jr., was born in St. Paul, MN, to Polish immigrant parents, Stanislaw and Josephine, on September 17, 1916. A concertina player from the age of 15, he was billed at engagements in the fall of 1943 as “Jolly Stan,” a “new attraction” (with his last name misspelled ‘Pedrowski’ or ‘Setorowski’). Stan’s band varied between 8 and 11 pieces, and he came to be advertised as the “Concertina King and his Radio Broadcasting Orchestra.” His half-hour program was broadcast over KAUS/1480 of Austin, MN, in 1948, and newspaper notices show his most active years as a professional musician to be 1948-1950. Stan operated a gas station on E. Maryland Avenue in St. Paul for over 40 years, and continued to perform periodically. He recorded at least two discs (likely self-produced during the 1950s) on the PM label of Minneapolis (PM=Polish Music?). Stanley Fedorowski passed away on December 27, 1985, at the age of 69. [Note: Stan Fedorowski is not the same artist as Chicago bandleader “Wesoły Staś” Lykawa, who also used the moniker “Jolly Stan” on occasion.]

Search Add 2 Onionbreath Boz Mugabe - Bass, vocals, artwork Graham "Onion" Neville - Drums Peter Carey - Guitar and Simon Geraghty - Second vocals on Cyberman Vibrations BIO - ....ONIONBREATH.... ....(October 1990 - February 1994).... ....Somewhere north of the green strip of market gardening (when there was such a thing), a bunch of malcontents came together with borrowed equipment and indulged in that common and altogether unremarkable suburban habit - they formed a shoddy punk band... ...Inspired by local heroes (as we saw them) Not Our World and a bunch of others home and abroad, some manner of vision was concocted and within 6 weeks we had blagged our way onto a bill in the ubiquitous White Horse Inn (subsequently the Attic, then a shitty living room with a bar in the corner) through our mentors Ogre ... "mentor" in the sense of borrowing everything from PAs to plectrums every time we wanted to do anything!!... ....The next year or so saw us buffer the bell-end of local band bills in city centre pubs, playing with Ogre, Sloth, Shred, The GrownUps, Ciunas, The Afflicted... and slightly later... SMH, Mush Flubbah, Arnheim, Jam Jar Jail, Concrete Sox, The Flying Kidney, Crossbreed, Dr Shitface, Stigmatamartyr, Life But How To live It, Pincher Martin, the Mexican Pets, DIRT, Slunk, Flexihead, the Spermbirds!!!... and many more that time has been harsh to the memory of... ...Onionbreath rehearsed in a garage, a tiny shed and a bedroom - and subsequently recorded under similar zero budget circumstances - the STINK EP ('91) was laid to tape on a 4 track running through a DCC with programmed drums. About 100 of these were dubbed on a twin tape deck with hand made labels glued to the tape shells. In the tradition of many bands in this genre, the complete lack of traditional musical prowess dictates that you basically start with nothing and while most initial output is disposable, sometimes you accidentally stumble upon that which gives a band it's sound/ personality... ...Onionbreath was never a fast band, nor one that was ever going to moderate itself within the trappings of an orthodox punk sound. The album length CYBERMAN VIBRATIONS ('93) consisted of a handful of experimental bedroom recordings as well as songs that were an integral part of the live set. At this point the techincal aspects had improved slightly... Brian from Ogre had acquired a 12 track desk with 9 tracks actually working on it, formerly belonging to the Radiators! Running 2 channels into this from the 4 track for stereo meant we had 9 to work with before we needed to start bouncing tracks... this way we were able to record the basics live in our drummer's bedroom and add tracks (hide our mistakes?) later... The various bedroom recordings were added in and sequenced on a "master" before we hit the twin tape decks again, and the "unlegendary" sunburst cyberman covers (our answer to all the rave graphics at the time) were moonlighted during a FAS course. This cassette got some very positive reviews on it's release and sold well, although in hindsight, this was Dublin in '93 and independent music was still in nappies, so there was definitely more empathy with zero budget operations... ...Towards the end of 1993 there were plans laid for a 7" single to be released in the summer of 1994 (we even got as far as making the plates for the sleeve), but as we all meandered off in our own direction, the last official business of Onionbreath was a gig in Fusion on O'Connell Street with Flexihead (this may very well have been their last gig too???)... ...Time has blurred much of that era but some fond memories include rehearsing in the drummer's shed and standing in the snow outside playing bass because there was so little room. Bullshitting a member of Ogre that State Of Shock by the Ex was our new demo was a moment definitely worth a mention, and of course the proudest moment live would have to be supporting the Spermbirds when they rolled through Dublin all those years ago. Then there were the many multi-bills upstairs in the Fox & Pheasant where 6-7 bands would use the same gear, sometimes right down to straps and plectrums, which would inevitably end with that long forgotten rite of passage - running for the last bus with a drum kit!!! ...While we were merely one of many who learned their chops around this time and went onwards and upwards with other ventures, the determination to contribute to underground culture in the city (without maybe ever fully integrating into it) and the resolution to beat general tedium with something constructive was the driving force behind the brief lifetime of Onionbreath.....
