Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Gary Luck | Australian musician and singer-songwriter, based in Canberra, ACT. Gary is on the Board of Directors of the Australian Songwriters Association, a writer/member of APRA/AMCOS, and holds a PPCA licence. He is also Managing Director of [a11716565] Gary has been playing guitar and writing songs ever since hearing the famous Canadian folk song, ‘Four Strong Winds’ outside his old home town of Melbourne in the early 60s. He has appeared on Melbourne television and has written a short play, with music, featuring incidents in the life and times of Gordon Lightfoot which led to two of Lightfoot’s biggest hits. Gary met Gordon Lightfoot after a show at the Sun Theatre in Anaheim, California and spent half an hour talking him into one more tour of Australia. Sadly when the tour could not go ahead due to Lightfoot’s ill health Gary decided that the next best thing was to put together a tribute show in honour of the man and his music and take it to Australian audiences. And so Gary formed The Lightfeet Band and (almost twenty years later) presented and performed ‘Sundown-The Gordon Lightfoot Story’. Gary has been playing Lightfoot songs for over forty years as a solo artist or in various cover bands in and around Canberra (such as Southern Exposure and No Fixed Address) along with a few of his own originals. He has toured with Ross Ryan (I Am Pegasus) and several artists from the United States. Gary has also played in various parts of South East Asia where he translated Ralph McTell’s biggest hit “The Streets of London” into Indonesian, in the United States and has performed his own single ‘Blood On the Frangipani’, a song about the bombing of Darwin on national radio, live at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne and in the Northern Territory Parliament House during the annual commemorations of the bombing in Darwin on the 19th February each year. When not touring he is currently working on his own album entitled ‘Imaginary Postcards - The Old Tobacco Tin.’ Gary is also an actor, voice actor, writer and director with over forty years experience in the entertainment industry. | |

Born into a musical family, then later marrying into one, has made singing country music a way of life for her. She started singing publicly in church, then began doing studio work; cutting demos and background vocals. All of which led to her discovering what a deep passion she has for sharing the God given talent that she has been blessed with. Her pure heart felt vocals are matched up perfectly with the songs on her debut album There’s A Better Way. Songs that will touch you and that will make you feel like she’s lived them by the way she delivers them. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ästrälflüidz | ÄSTRÄLFLÜIDZ | Our project was formed relatively recently, in May 2015. He comes from the snowy Russia, the ancient city - Vladimir. Our project consists of two musicians from completely different worlds of music: one of us has a secondary music education and vast experience of stage performances and is currently on tour with the orchestra; He - the second bass. His world - classical music. The second party has no musical education, but took part in many musical groups, mostly playing heavy music of different directions. His instrument - classic guitar, electric guitar and bass guitar. It is his world - a dark and heavy music. We are working in such genres as: electronic, experimental, dark ambient, modern classical, dark wave, drone, etc.We are a young but very ambitious musical project.Slowly but surely we conquer our audience, among fans of dark atmospheric music. We have just started, but the potential we have a huge, and the desire to make quality atmospheric music - more than enough. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Paolo Russi | Paolo Russi “Discojuice” is an Italian DJ/musician who began taking his first steps in the world of DJing at the end of the 90s. Over the years he expanded his collection of old and new music on vinyl; his style is as varied as his taste in music. Rather than limiting himself to a certain sound, Discojuice’s sets range between Disco, Jazz, Funk, House and up to more electronic sounds. This soundscape is reflected in the productions within his DJustgroove Studio where experimentation and creativity do not hide his Jazz-Funk imprint. In 2019 he starts the new label Flankup Recordings together with his best friend Francesco Bellini and in 2023, they launch the new electronic label Another Face Records. Here Paolo takes care of the technical and production aspects and the search for new talents. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The 75s | The 75s were a power pop trio from St. Louis. Scott Lasser and Laurel Mydock, former bandmates in the short-lived garage band The Downcasts, established The 75s in late 2006. Mydock and Lasser practiced on their own for a couple of months, all the while searching for a female bass player who would be willing to sing backup and lead when needed. After placing several online ads, they were finally contacted via Myspace by Morgan Nusbaum, formerly of the St. Louis space/funk/punk collective Galaxy Rock Meats William. The 75s broke up very quietly in June 2010, not too long after they played their final show at the Record Bar in Kansas City. In September 2011, they were named "Best Band To Die in the Past 12 Months" by the RFT. Nusbaum formed [a3606831] with drummer [a915563] of [a2794289] shortly before The 75s split up. Mydock and Lasser went on to form Thee Have Loves with former Downcasts bandmate [a5498522] in 2012. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | The Dominican Jazz Project | The Dominican Jazz Project began when Dominican born jazz artist, Guillo Carias, invited American jazz pianist, Stephen Anderson, to perform with him and local players for the 2014 Jazzomania Jazz Festival in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, that was hosted by Tony Dominguez and Carlos Francisco Elías. The concert and associated clinic went beautifully, and the drummer, Guy Frómeta, invited Anderson to return to Santo Domingo to perform with him in his group for the Casa de Teatro Jazz Festival a few months later. It was there that Anderson met Sandy Gabriel, tenor saxophonist. Their collective friendship grew further with that experience, and following the festival, they agreed to record together. The result was their 2016 self titled CD release, The Dominican Jazz Project, that was recorded in the days following the UNC Summer Jazz Workshop where the artists served as guest faculty and where Anderson serves as director. The recording represented Summit Records on the ballots of the 17th Annual Latin Grammy Awards as well as on the ballots of the 59th Grammy Awards. It was listed in Ken Frackling's "2016's Best Latin/Brazilian jazz recordings," was decribed as being "full of creative energy and the joy of musical discovery" by Mark Sullivan at All About Jazz, and the band was called a "national pride" at the 2019 Dominican Republic Jazz Festival. Since 2014, the DJP has performed at numerous festivals in the Dominican Republic and has toured performing at universities and jazz clubs across the United States. What intrigued Anderson when he first visited the Dominican Republic is that while Dominican musicians are very much at home playing Afro-Cuban/clave-based music, their traditional music also has a variety of other lesser known grooves that are not commonly played in Latin jazz today outside of the Dominican Republic. And while the Dominican piano tumbao patterns sound similar to Cuban montuno patterns, they are constructed differently harmonically and rhythmically. Anderson was also surprised that these Dominican were so interested in modern American jazz, and that Sandy Gabriel’s compositions, in some ways, were very similar to the aesthetic that he had been developing in the Stephen Anderson Trio recordings in recent years. Sandy is an entirely self-taught saxophonist, having no formal training. When asked how he learned to play so well, Sandy relayed that he learned from transcribing Michael Brecker solos, responding affirmably, “He was the best.” After returning home, Anderson spent several months deeply researching Dominican music, transcribing various piano tumbao patterns, as well as other traditional grooves, like the Mangulina, Pambiche, Ga-Ga, and the Palo. Based on these and other grooves, he composed five new charts for the project, and Sandy Gabriel, Guillo Carias, and Carlos Luis contributed the other six compositions found on the recording. The Dominican Jazz Project CD, Desde Lejos, was recorded remotely during the 2020-21 pandemic with members of the band living in the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico, and North and South Carolina. The longtime bassist for the DJP, Jeffry Eckels, passed away unexpectedly July 3, 2020 right as the band was preparing to record. The band experienced hospitalization or death of close family members during the pandemic, and the recording demonstrates how the group worked together (from "far away") daily using different home or professional studios to produce a new CD during that challenging time. | |
