Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 7 | Lily Pond Orchestra | Douglas JP Lee | Lily Pond Orchestra is an ambient/space music project of Douglas JP Lee (1953-2011) - self-taught musician, guitarist and composer from Massachusetts, USA. Douglas started playing guitar at the age of 9, inspired by The Beatles, and at the age of 13 he was already playing in his first band. His interest in electronic music evolved from "Forbidden Planet" movie, which he saw in childhood. By the mid 1970's, Lee was already experimenting with electronic sounds and tape manipulations, but most of his ambient was created much later, already in the digital age, since he was mostly using software synthesizers to compose and record his music (referring to himself as a "MIDIdiot"). Among his inspirations Douglas was mentioning The Beatles, 60's San Francisco and European prog bands, Charles Ives, John Cage, Edgar Varèse, Krzysztof Penderecki, Brian Eno, Terry Riley, etc. Douglas JP Lee died suddenly on April 5, 2011 at the hospital. Some of his albums are released by Earth Mantra net-label, and many archived stuff is available for downloading at his official website. |

Search | Add | 7 | P.P. Nikt | Dejan Vlaisavljević | P.P. Nikt stands for Plastično Pozorište Nikt (Plastic Theatre Nikt) and was a brainchild of Dejan Vlaisavljević. While his activities were primarily associated with filmmaking, Dejan Vlaisavljević also composed soundtracks for his films and theatre plays. In the beginning, around 1987, he was the only member of the group, performing live several times as a one man band and occasionally with the help of video/sound artist Petar Milić. The concerts combined video and film screenings, live instrumental music and spoken word. During that time P.P. Nikt recorded the four cassettes. In 1989 Mirko Mikulić and Dragan Ve Ignjatović joined in making P.P. Nikt a trio that performed several times in Belgrade and Warsaw. Later on, in 1990 Dejan dropped the 'P.P.' in the band name as well as the two other band members, teamed up with longtime friend and a colleague [a=Igor Toholj] and produced an album called Amazing Flight Stories. Soon, in the wake of war in Yugoslavia, he relocated to Amsterdam where he remains until today, making movies and just occasionally composing music. |

Search | Add | 7 | Rigo Maldonado | Rigoberto Maldonado | I was born and raised in the small town of Rupert, Idaho. I spent some time living in Austin, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Nashville before settling in New York. I have had some amazing musical experiences throughout my life which include performing on the stages of the Grand Ole Opry and Radio City Music Hall as well as performing to a crowd of 10,000 people in Indianapolis, Indiana. Through my involvement with the renowned Christ Church Choir in Nashville, I was able to record and perform with the likes of Carman, Charlie Daniels, Kim Boyce, Dolly Parton and many others. I was also part of a couple of video shoots with Bill Gaither's Homecoming Series which are still seen on television to this day. My back-up vocalist experience had just started to pick up when I followed my heart and relocated to Long Island, New York. Music continued to be something that I was a part of while working with a couple of church choirs and a short stint in the wedding band industry. I was even a part of a dinner theater group for a short while. Here we are in 2020 and WOW!!! A lot of lives have been changed with the Covid-19 pandemic. Reevaluation of what's important and how I want to spend the next chapter of my life has definitely been brought to the forefront of my thinking. During a forced quarantine, Mark Chadwick and I decided to record some love songs from the past as well as 2 original songs. The result, Love's The Only Way, released on October 30, 2020. |

Search | Add | 7 | Joey Largent | With dreams of the dissolution of time and ultimate reunion with nature, Joey Largent examines bodies of harmonic overtones and wave-like drones through his work with a variety of instruments. Without limitations by genre, Largent’s work has its origins in styles ranging from harsh noise to Greek Rebetiko to Protestant hymns to Romanian Lăutărească. He seeks a middle space, integrating site-specific field recording with microtonal tunings and conceptual findings from Sufism and Buddhist literature in agnostic attempts to translate context, spiritual glimpses, nature, and compassion into musical experience. Largent’s ongoing practices include developing eternal duration compositions for acoustic ensembles, custom instrument design and alteration, and performing music for Butoh. His work is greatly inspired by and draws from a rich history of acoustic experimental music, studying with La Monte Young, Rose Okada, and Michael Harrison — all disciples of the late vocal master Pandit Pran Nath. Largent continues to study both Indian Classical Khyal gayaki in the Kirana tradition, and Dhrupad rudra veena and voice in the Dagar tradition. He is currently based between Seattle and Port Townsend, Washington.

Search | Add | 7 | Don Conreaux | Master of masters and father of Gong ,Don Conreaux is known not only as an exceptional artist and musician, but also as a pioneer in the field of sound therapy. Don studied theater, was the main teacher and director of teacher training for Kundalini. Having 55 years of experience in yoga and sound, he teaches his own method called Gong Yoga, which is a set of regeneration and strengthening exercises. He is the creator of La Voie du Gong. Wandering around the world, he discovers for others the wonderful properties of the gong, which by its holistic resonance has a huge impact on the body, mind and soul. The sound therapies used to improve health, reduce stress and internal changes are currently disseminated by many participants in its seminars and workshops. The artist is also known for his peace activities. Each year, it organizes a concert of the Artists of the World. He describes his music as free and spiritual jazz. He is the founder and leader of the music group Mysterious Tremendum. In concert, in addition to gongs, he uses voice, shruti, shells and other ethnic instruments. The concerts - like the one presented on the album - are attended by guest musicians who accompany Don in musical improvisation. Don is also the initiator of the Bell Garden for Peace. These are areas of peace and calm in which space is organized according to ancient geomancy and geometry.

He started playing music at the age of 4 with the piano and around the age of 12, he bought first guitar. Around that same time he bag an to start jamming with people he knew around the area. He met people like Aiden Braadt and Andrew Pletz from local band “The Rays”. Eventually Nathan would find a band to play in, which he would find had Andrew formally from the Rays playing drums. This band was called “Rotting Fruit”. Nathan played bass for the band. Around that time, he would start his first solo project called “bloody saliva”. This project was a completely different direction of the punk stuff he was doing with Rotting Fruit. He would play 2 shows with the band before eventually departing from the band in January of 2024 due to a toxic relationship with the lead singer. Andrew also departed with Nathan and soon would create their new band, Brushburn, which is joined by long time friend of Nathan’s, Eli Schlappich. Around April of 2024, Nathan started his second project, which focused on a screamo sound, called “dead… on arrival”.

Search | Add | 7 | Big Bad Baz | Barry Christie | BigBadBaz (born Barry Christie on 3rd September 1983) is an English born dance music producer. Barry was born in Sunderland, Tyne & Wear but spent most of his life living in Northamptonshire. Inspired by the work of sampling artists such as Fatboy Slim and The Prodigy, Barry started to make sample based dance music in the late 90s. Continuing to produce music under the pseudonym BigBadBaz (a name suggested by friends as a moniker) he released his first productions on vinyl in September 2002. Barry's continued use of samples became less derivative in 2002 and 2003 with more and more internet only releases using larger samples from tracks akin with the Mash up scene that was growing at the time. This similarity brought Barry's music some publicity and found his music being championed by Radio stations across the world, cashing in the fad of mixing one or more popular songs together. Continuing on with the same style of music that brought about Call On Me, BigBadBaz released a white label album Generic Prydz. The name was a light-hearted poke at the amount of copycat songs that were filling the dance floor in 2005. Calling America and So Many Nights on that album began getting some radio play so in 2006 these were picked up by Prank Monkey Records and given a vinyl only release. "So Many Nights" (even though technically a B-Side) began getting some airplay and was picked up by Radio 1 DJ's . |
