Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | Holy Terrors | A brief history... 1990-1991: After disbanding their Boston quartet Inside Outburst, [a=Rob Elba] and [a=Dan Hosker] made the inexplicable decision to leave the countless clubs, supportive college radio stations, and a teeming Boston music scene to form a new band in sunny South Florida. Whatever made them think that the land of vacationing French-Canadians, retirees, and the $5.95 early bird special would be conductive to forming an original rock band is anybody's guess -- suffice it to say these guys weren't rocket scientists. But form a band they did. And with drummer [a=Sam Fogarino] and bass player [a=Frank Labrador], they christened themselves The Holy Terrors and set out to conquer the Miami/Fort Lauderdale rock music scene, which took about two weeks. With local producer Frank "Rat Bastard" Falestra, they recorded and released two singles, [r=4182206] and [r=4182384], as well as [r=8155409], a six-song cassette recorded live on Bob Slade's Off the Beaten Path radio show on WLRN (91.3-FM). 1991-1996: When Frank decided to quit the band and pursue a career of "not playing in a band anymore," Sam recruited friend William Trev, who performed with Sam in a Rat Bastard project called The Wahoos, to play bass. In 1993 the Terrors again entered the studio and began working on their first full-length release, [r=6092600], for local label [l=Pound Records]. Pound was a subsidiary of the successful South Florida bass label [l=Neurodisc Records], and as its first "rock" release [r=6092600] proved to be decidedly un-bootylicious for the rap label. An East Coast/Midwest tour followed, but by the time the Terrors returned, it was apparent that this was indeed a marriage made in hell. The band and label soon parted ways. 1996-1999: The Holy Terrors continued playing locally and regionally, often driving 10 hours or more just to get OUT of Florida and play support shows for touring bands who didn't realize there were actually people living south of Tallahassee (which, technically, there are). By 1996, drummer Sam had grown tired of the non-stop fun and left the band to follow a series of girlfriends up and down the East Coast, eventually settling in New York City and joining soon-to-be [l=Matador] recording artists [a=Interpol]. Fellow musician [a=Mike Bocsusis] of the band [a=One (54)] took over drum duties, and the Terrors released their third single, [r=4182365]. In 1998 the Terrors again entered the studio, this time with producer [a=Jeremy Dubois], to begin recording another full-length album. With 5 songs in the can, guitarist and co-founding member [a=Dan Hosker] decided to take a break and tour with his other band, [a=Harry Pussy]. 2001-2012: Proving that you can't keep a good band down, and that there really isn't a whole hell of a lot to do in South Florida, The Holy Terrors, with Dan back in the fold, begin to play out again. Long-time fan Tom Berman of [l=Purple Skunk Records (2)] approaches the band about releasing material, and after the requisite all-night pepsi-snorting-record-signing-in-blood session, an agreement is made. The long-lost [a=Jeremy Dubois] sessions are retrieved, various unreleased studio and live tracks are assembled, and the final result is the epic, career-spanning, appropriately titled, [r=8120110]. Oh, and the early bird is now $6.95 | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Rudolph Cernkovich | Rudolph Cernkovich was born November 8, 1889, in Gorski Kotar, Croatia. He was the oldest son of eleven children. After he finished his elementary education, his parents planned to send him to school to become a priest or photographer. When he was 15, he met an uncle who was a tambura player and maker along with having his own family orchestra. This uncle gave Rudolph a tambura for a gift and he immediately learned to play it. He came to America at 16 and settled in Pittsburgh. He planned in the old country to stay here only about three years, earn plenty of money, and return home. He joined several bands and played for dances, weddings, picnics, and home parties. Then he began to teach other orchestras and to arrange simple pieces. When the teacher of his singing society quit, the members prevailed upon him to undertake teaching the choir. From then on, he was teaching the tamburitza, orchestras and other singing societies and was arranging music for both. After playing with the famous concert touring tamburitza orchestra "Zvonimir" for five years, he married Anna Ivanusich and they settled in Chicago. Here he rented a place for tambura manufacturing, and besides arranging music, began making tamburas. His work received overwhelming approval. All the work of manufacturing instruments and issuing music dangerously affected his heart. Doctors warned him to slow down so he sold his shop to his cousin, and dedicated himself entirely to arranging and printing music. The demand for this was growing. After 23 years of yearning to return to his homeland, he and his wife spent five months in Yugoslavia. After returning home, the days of dark depression were everywhere. He went to Michigan and bought a house where he could continue to work by mail with his music customers throughout the country. The town was Bradley. Then the second World War came and orchestras disbanded. To arrange and print this music for a smaller and smaller number with growing costs in everything due to the war, the outputs were a constant loss. Realizing the futility in this line of work, Cernkovich decided to sell his home and find another line of business. After rigid examination by the Civil Service Commission, he was appointed Postmaster of Bradley, Michigan. During his free time he still kept up his work on issuing music. He has arranged more than 1000 songs, including his own melodies, work of other composers, and public domain folk tunes he knew as a child. His right hand in this endeavor was his wife, who was carrying one load while he carried another and inspiring him when he was down and low. His lyrics are sentimental and romantic in nature, which is perhaps because of the breaking away from his family in early life. He said that if he had chosen some other career it would probably have been more gainful, but this way he has friends in every native community of many lands through his music -- and this has more value. | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Clay Djubal | The great-great-great nephew of Australian vaudeville entrepreneur Harry Clay (1865-1925), Clay Djubal was born Rodney Clay in Griffith, New South Wales. His family later lived in Sydney before moving to Armidale in 1972 where his father lectured in art at the Armidale Teachers' College. While at Armidale High School Rodney played drums in several student bands, notably Blue Max (1976). In 1978 and 1979 Djubal was a member of the Armidale hippy punk bands Health Club and Vice Squad. After moving to Sydney he co-founded the short-lived psychedelic punk band The Astros before enlisting for a brief period in the Army. He later returned to Armidale where he co-founded [a16265650] (1982) and [a16133832] (1982-1984). It was in 1983 that he changed his name. A return to Sydney saw him establish the bands [a16183033] (1985), and Shoot the DJ II (1985-1986). Apart from Health Club (in which he was lead singer only) he carried out the roles of bassist, lead singer, keyboardist, principal songwriter, and stage designer. In 1984 Djubal and his wife, [a16183039], re-booted Some Tripping Diggers as a creative collective, inviting musician friends to explore and gain expertise in writing and recording (after the couple separated in 1988, the collective continued under his initiative until the late-1990s). Djubal spent most of 1990 in Mackay, Queensland playing in a trio called Three Blind Mice before moving to Brisbane where he soon afterwards enrolled at The University of Queensland. After completing a B.A. (Hons) in Drama and English, he undertook an MA (1998) and a Ph D (2005), both in Drama. At UQ he also wrote the music for several student theatre productions, and had his musical, "The Last Word," produced at the Cement Box Theatre in 1998. Clay Djubal retired from performing on in the early-2000s in favour of pursuing an academic/research career. He lectured in popular music studies at the UQ School of Music, developing and convening two new courses 'Beyond Rock: Music in the Digital Age,' and 'The Musical: History, Theory and Practice.' He has also lectured in Entertainment Business Management for the JMC Academy (Brisbane), and for ten years was a senior researcher with AustLit: The Resource for Australian Literature (specialising in theatre, film, radio, television and speculative fiction). His academic publications in the area of early-Australian popular music theatre have been published both in Australia and internationally. Clay Djubal's business S.T.D. Music, Hire and Promotion (1983-1998) was re-established in 2009 as [l4118517], a digital and off-line publisher and music label. Its digital publications are the [l4118520] (2009-) and the Australian Variety Theatre Archive (2011-). HGWT occasionally releases music from artists and bands linked to the New South Wales Northern Tablelands during the Australian pub rock era. [Sources: 'Clay Djubal.' His sponsor was a local clothing store. She noted in another article that the show was on Monday through Saturday and then he also had a 2:15pm Sunday afternoon show. In 1930 Gill moved to Fort Worth and signed on at KTAT. For the next twenty-plus years, “The Yodeling Country Boy” was a constant presence on Cowtown radio stations—on WBAP, then KFJZ and KGKO. After World War II he appeared on KXOL, KCUL, KCNC, and KJIM. The daily broadcasts featured Cecil and his guitar serving up songs from the past such as “The Ship That Never Returned,” “Utah Carroll,” and “The Engineer’s Child.” In 1941 he opened Cecil Gill’s Eat Shop, and he started an independent laundry pickup service in 1957. Gill was still operating the laundry service when he died suddenly of a heart attack on March 28, 1978. While Cecil may have been more a regional or local artist, Floy does report in several articles that he was a fixture on the big shows at the Coliseum in the Fort Worth area when the Grand Ole Opry acts were touring through the area such as Ernest Tubb, Eddy Arnold and Pee Wee King. Gill’s recording career was brief. He waxed six songs in 1946 for the local Silver Star Record Company. “Teardrops in the Rain”/“Say Goodbye” (Silver Star 101) proved popular enough to be reissued in 1949 on Rich-R’-Tone Records, a Tennessee label specializing in bluegrass music. By 1947, we were finding that Cecil's career had taken him to radio station WGAD in Gadsen, Alabama. A 1948 Billboard article mentions Cecil was recording on the Bluebonnet record label. But by 1949, Cecil was back in Fort Worth on radio station KXOL. He did not return to the studio until 1963 to record four albums worth of favorites from his radio days for Bluebonnet Records in Fort Worth. In 1971 he recorded a gospel album, How Big Is God, for Arlington-based Inspiration Records. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Аркадий Покрасс | Аркадий Яковлевич Покрасс | Arkady Pokrass (1898–196?) was a Russian virtuoso pianist, composer, and conductor, brother of Samuel, Dmitry, and Daniel Pokrass. He was born in Kiev and studied at the Conservatory. Pokrass was an accompanist for various popular singers, including Natalia Tamara (1873–1934). Unfortunately, "gypsy" music fell out of favor by the end of the 1920s, leaving Tamara without repertoire and leading to the complete abandonment of her career (Natalia ended her life broke and forgotten). As a big propagator of Russian romance, Arkady also suffered from the new ideological climate, but in the 1930s, he turned back to success by introducing Vadim Kozin to the Moscow audience. The singer soon became hugely popular across the whole Soviet Union, and Arkady Pokrass had been accompanying him. In 1936, Pokrass also worked as a conductor of the Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure Variety Orchestra in Moscow. After a conflict with Lavrenti Beria in 1939, Kozin was prosecuted and sent to exile in the Kolyma. Pokrass lost his protégé and barely escaped arrest himself. After that, not much is known about his life. One of the last documented mentions was discovered in Tambov archives. According to it, Arkady Pokrass was spotted at the grand opening of the local club in 1949, together with an artist Sergey Martinson. Unlike Dmitry and Daniel, Arkady was practically forgotten. The exact time and place of death are also unknown. One of his gramophone records was mentioned in the ad in BIRYUCH of Petrograd State Theatres magazine, Issue No. 4, 1918. |

Tokom *93. Johanbeen snima tri albuma "Sam u borbi protiv dosade, What seems to be trouble, gentleman i Chaossex in monkey division".Te godine se i ustaljuje postava od tri verna člana, tri Johanbeen-a (Kita, Krcko, Fritz). Johanbeen zauzima kurs od kojeg nema odstupanja. Slede godine zeza, svirki i Johanbeenovanja. Sve albume izdaju samostalno u produkciji Siphilis tapes-a. RIP Kita | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Mark Kroos | Mark Kroos plays 2 guitar necks at the same time. Originally from Lansing, MI but currently based in Charlotte, NC he is one of the only people in the world touring his trade. His primarily instrumental style is characterized by open harmonies, polyphonic textures, incredible tapping technique, and is as entertaining to watch as it is to listen to. Live performances burst with energy and magnetism not typical of solo guitar music. Drawing influence from folk, Celtic, indie, and even punk rock artists as well as other great guitarists such as Michael Hedges, Tommy Emmanuel and Leo Kottke, Mark Kroos has developed his own edge to the acoustic guitar. | |

The artist has several times made people laugh through the "hits" such as: 2 glued, ... but especially with the title Tout mignon in which he humorously criticizes all the actors of the Ivorian political scene in the year 2000. One rumor has it that he is the composer of the 1er Gaou hit by [a=Magic System]. Indeed he also composes for other Zouglou artists. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Stuffed Spider | Matt Parish | Built on years of mucking around with rickety tape recorders, B-movie synth sounds, crusty guitar strings, and phantom rehearsal spaces, the music of Stuffed Spider exists in a kind of time warp. It layers decades-old recordings between sheets of electronic melody, tactile guitar work and squelching synths. The result is dark patchwork of instrumental collage, drawing inspiration from opposite ends of the musique concrete spectrum (Pierre Shaefer to Kid Koala), ghostly horror film music, and busted old slabs of industrial noise. Boredoms. Burial. Bartók. After a few years of lowkey collaborations with artist friends on the East Coast and Nashville, Stuffed Spider's first full recording Secret Speech is set for release on November 6. The album – released digitally on Bandcamp and in limited edition cassette tape – crawls through a layered history of post-revolution unease, wandering through echoes of Soviet insecurity, reeducation dogma, religious consumerism, Western identity crises, and, naturally, decay. A member of '00s noise-rock group Ho-Ag, Parish has performed across the US and Europe with groups like Daughters, Deerhoof, Melvins, Melt-Banana, HEALTH, Dan Deacon, Wolf Eyes, Nautical Almanac, Pile and many many more. |
