Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

She was married to George Washington Lee, Jr., also originally from Savannah, who was living in Buffalo, New York by 1951. By 1956 she was still living in Buffalo, New York, now married to Wilbert Washington. (During her life there may have been one or two other marriages.) This seems to be how her professional name became Nancy Lee Washington. It's not entirely clear whether (or when) she moved to the NYC area to write songs and record them. She then headed to California. The Buffalo Criterion newspaper 26 May 1962 had a photo of Nancy Lee Washington and her mother Mrs. Mamie Garrett (nee Green). Nancy is described as Foreman at Pre-Production era Packard Bell Corp., Los Angeles. Her mother (from Buffalo, NY, driving a Cadillac) and brother (driving a Buick) drove to Kansas City, Missouri, to give Nancy a birthday present, the keys to a 1957 Buick; Nancy flew to K.C. to meet them. The last line of the photo caption said that Nancy is also a song stylist. Nancy died in Buffalo 2 October 2012. Could be the same person as [a=Nancy Lee (12)] |

| Search | Add | 7 | Rudolph Cernkovich | Rudolph Cernkovich was born November 8, 1889, in Gorski Kotar, Croatia. He was the oldest son of eleven children. After he finished his elementary education, his parents planned to send him to school to become a priest or photographer. When he was 15, he met an uncle who was a tambura player and maker along with having his own family orchestra. This uncle gave Rudolph a tambura for a gift and he immediately learned to play it. He came to America at 16 and settled in Pittsburgh. He planned in the old country to stay here only about three years, earn plenty of money, and return home. He joined several bands and played for dances, weddings, picnics, and home parties. Then he began to teach other orchestras and to arrange simple pieces. When the teacher of his singing society quit, the members prevailed upon him to undertake teaching the choir. From then on, he was teaching the tamburitza, orchestras and other singing societies and was arranging music for both. After playing with the famous concert touring tamburitza orchestra "Zvonimir" for five years, he married Anna Ivanusich and they settled in Chicago. Here he rented a place for tambura manufacturing, and besides arranging music, began making tamburas. His work received overwhelming approval. All the work of manufacturing instruments and issuing music dangerously affected his heart. Doctors warned him to slow down so he sold his shop to his cousin, and dedicated himself entirely to arranging and printing music. The demand for this was growing. After 23 years of yearning to return to his homeland, he and his wife spent five months in Yugoslavia. After returning home, the days of dark depression were everywhere. He went to Michigan and bought a house where he could continue to work by mail with his music customers throughout the country. The town was Bradley. Then the second World War came and orchestras disbanded. To arrange and print this music for a smaller and smaller number with growing costs in everything due to the war, the outputs were a constant loss. Realizing the futility in this line of work, Cernkovich decided to sell his home and find another line of business. After rigid examination by the Civil Service Commission, he was appointed Postmaster of Bradley, Michigan. During his free time he still kept up his work on issuing music. He has arranged more than 1000 songs, including his own melodies, work of other composers, and public domain folk tunes he knew as a child. His right hand in this endeavor was his wife, who was carrying one load while he carried another and inspiring him when he was down and low. His lyrics are sentimental and romantic in nature, which is perhaps because of the breaking away from his family in early life. He said that if he had chosen some other career it would probably have been more gainful, but this way he has friends in every native community of many lands through his music -- and this has more value. | |

-------------------------------------------------------- Nasr is the son of Hassan Mégri - lyricist and composer of the legendary Mégri quartet -. He was born surrounded by instruments and considered them as his toys, lived to the frantic pace of the success experienced by his father, his uncles and his aunt. He grows up with a guitar in his hand, and refines the flexibility of his fingers as he laps into the living room piano. Later, he will study music theory, and will master the knowledge taught by the Music Conservatory of Rabat. From his toys, he will make them his working tools. Like a fate drawn, Nasr will follow in his father's footsteps. Cradled by the movement created by the Megri Brothers in Morocco, and surrounded by the microcosm of the few musicians of that time, this is naturally what predisposes him to become what he always wanted to be : a lyricist and composer. In 2012, he will share his first stage at Mawazine Festival, that brought together the big names of Music in Morocco. It was also the last concert given by his father. A sort of handover, symbolic of an another wave of the Megri movement that Nasr has continued to instill ever since. An undeniably emotional moment since Nasr has continued to perpetuate the traditional back and forth that his parents knew, going from concerts to concerts and locking himself in the recording studios as soon as the opportunity arises. Nasr produces 4 albums and a single on the legendary Ouhmane label, and records his name - and first name - in a catalog which includes practically all the big names in Moroccan Music - all genres and styles combined - - "Fyoum Lefrah" (2011) - "Winek" (2014) - "Baghi Nfhem" (2015) - "Sa3a Dour" (2016) - "Machaal" (2019) This latest wave of the Megri movement is meticulously respected by Nasr. In 2017, like the Megri Brothers, he will begin a Maghrebin tour. In 2018, like the Megri Brothers, he will continue with a European tour. Just a few months before the death of his father, the late Hassan. He went to India to promote Moroccan Music where he gave a concert, and coincidence or not, they were both 27 years old for their respective trips. The numerous distinctions and prizes received from all over the world by Nasr, make him an ambassador of Moroccan Music. But Nasr does not let the light dazzle him, and never ceases to follow in the footsteps of his father Hassan Megri. Surprising, and different. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Danyb | Danilo Braca | Italian DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, NY Music has always been a major part of the life of Danilo Braca aka danyb. His father was an avid record collector as well as a collector of vintage musical gear, an obvious influence on Danilo’s choice of career path. This exposure led Danilo to build his own music collection very early on. He started playing at parties around Italy in 1986, at the age of 13, just around the time of the burgeoning popularity of house music. While pursuing a career as a DJ, Danilo became highly skilled in the field of Sound Engineering and Music Production, working around recording studios in Rome until he decided to move to New York City in 2012. Having reached the city with the musical heritage that influenced him the most, he founded The Sound of New York City, a web radio station and recording studio where his activities range from music production to sound postproduction. In the last year, Danilo also created 2 record labels and released 5 EP that caught many ears in the underground community. His style as a DJ has remained very eclectic with the ability to blend Afro-disco, synth pop, Italo Cosmic, Garage House, Disco, Prog-Rock, Chicago Old School House and Philly vibes all in one set. 2018 promises to include many releases with an original solo project in progress remixed by Ashley Beedle, DJ Nature, The Revenge, DJ Spinna, DJ Rocca, and Radius etc |

| Search | Add | 7 | Clay Djubal | The great-great-great nephew of Australian vaudeville entrepreneur Harry Clay (1865-1925), Clay Djubal was born Rodney Clay in Griffith, New South Wales. His family later lived in Sydney before moving to Armidale in 1972 where his father lectured in art at the Armidale Teachers' College. While at Armidale High School Rodney played drums in several student bands, notably Blue Max (1976). In 1978 and 1979 Djubal was a member of the Armidale hippy punk bands Health Club and Vice Squad. After moving to Sydney he co-founded the short-lived psychedelic punk band The Astros before enlisting for a brief period in the Army. He later returned to Armidale where he co-founded [a16265650] (1982) and [a16133832] (1982-1984). It was in 1983 that he changed his name. A return to Sydney saw him establish the bands [a16183033] (1985), and Shoot the DJ II (1985-1986). Apart from Health Club (in which he was lead singer only) he carried out the roles of bassist, lead singer, keyboardist, principal songwriter, and stage designer. In 1984 Djubal and his wife, [a16183039], re-booted Some Tripping Diggers as a creative collective, inviting musician friends to explore and gain expertise in writing and recording (after the couple separated in 1988, the collective continued under his initiative until the late-1990s). Djubal spent most of 1990 in Mackay, Queensland playing in a trio called Three Blind Mice before moving to Brisbane where he soon afterwards enrolled at The University of Queensland. After completing a B.A. (Hons) in Drama and English, he undertook an MA (1998) and a Ph D (2005), both in Drama. At UQ he also wrote the music for several student theatre productions, and had his musical, "The Last Word," produced at the Cement Box Theatre in 1998. Clay Djubal retired from performing on in the early-2000s in favour of pursuing an academic/research career. He lectured in popular music studies at the UQ School of Music, developing and convening two new courses 'Beyond Rock: Music in the Digital Age,' and 'The Musical: History, Theory and Practice.' He has also lectured in Entertainment Business Management for the JMC Academy (Brisbane), and for ten years was a senior researcher with AustLit: The Resource for Australian Literature (specialising in theatre, film, radio, television and speculative fiction). His academic publications in the area of early-Australian popular music theatre have been published both in Australia and internationally. Clay Djubal's business S.T.D. Music, Hire and Promotion (1983-1998) was re-established in 2009 as [l4118517], a digital and off-line publisher and music label. Its digital publications are the [l4118520] (2009-) and the Australian Variety Theatre Archive (2011-). HGWT occasionally releases music from artists and bands linked to the New South Wales Northern Tablelands during the Australian pub rock era. [Sources: 'Clay Djubal.'
