Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025

Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Tommy Mundon A lifelong resident of Halesowen, West Midlands, UK, Tommy was a born showman, comedian, singer and performer. The beloved comic died in 2014 following a battle against Parkinson's disease after entertaining the Black Country for decades through his tall tales and countless jokes. In the early 1970s he joined the Black Country Night Out show, performing with popular Black Country comics Dolly Allen and Doug Parker, poet Harry Harrison and folk singer Jon Raven. But at this time he was better known as part of the MWM light entertainment troupe, which saw team up with Opportunity Knocks winners [a4402970], and singer [a4912388]. Despite his huge popularity with Black Country folk, he never managed to break out onto the national stage, believing his strong accent may have scuppered his chances. The phone never did stop ringing, and Tommy continued to be in huge demand right up until the moment he was forced to end his showbusiness career in 2012.

Search Add 2 Magnus Bein Magnus Silsand Skulbru Singer/songwriter from Leknes, a small city in the Lofoten Islands, has been one of Northern-Norways hottest names for years. He earned plaudits for his captivating performances at Parkenfestivalen & Trænafestivalen.
With his distinct falsetto & sorrowful lyrics, he's played his way into the hearts of people - but his first release was in the works for quite some time. Magnus did things in his own tempo - "they say good things comes to those who wait" - and released only an 5 track EP plus a single. "Waited Too Late" is a single from the EP "Creating A Persona, Part 9328" which was recorded along with a star-studded team of musicians.
Kjartan Kristiansen (DumDum Boys/Stein Torleif Bjella, Jonas Alaska & Honningbarna) is the producer - & the EP's was recorded in his studio, <<Amper Tone>>, in Oslo.
In addition, drummer Erland Dahlen (Madrugada, Odd Nordstoga, Bjørn Eidsvåg & Marit Larsen), bass player Ulf Ivarsson (Thåström), & singers Petter Waldemar Nohr Unstad (Kråkesølv/NOHR) & producer Kristiansen has contributed.

The artist Magnus Bein was Magnus Silsand Skulbru (1991 - 2017), born & raised on Vestvågøy in beautiful Lofoten, who ended up by himself with his guitar & a sore, unique vocal voice. No one knows excactly where Magnus ends & Bein starts, but it's beyond doubt that he had a huge talent when it comes to writing songs about sorrow, pain & love, in a light, natural - almost naive style. He passed away shockingly early on friday the 17th of november 2017... He will always be remembered as a great artist with a gigantic heart.

Search Add 2 Ianua Filippo Midali 'Ianua' is the stage name of Filippo Midali, a 360 ° electronic musician that sweeps primarily from Techno, Electro, Breaks, Jungle to Chicago Footwork with a stable contamination from HipHop culture and scratch, the art of vinyl manipulation. The self - titled album, his debut album, fully represents this, moving from track to track between various musical genres. The name 'Ianua', 'door' in Latin, comes from the idea of the multiverse and interdimensional doors; this is depicted on the cover, which front represents the door distorted by the journey through space and time and the back, together with the titles, the sketches and formulas of the presumed doorbuilding scientist. Front and back of the cover are black and white film photos taken by Filippo with a Minox 35GT.

Search Add 2 Grinder Nova Shane Pringle Shane Pringle alias. Atlanta, GA From an archived MySpace page: .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. THE BELOVED BLEND .. One acrid afternoon in 1972, a poor peasant farmer east of Córdaba, Mexico was startled and most alarmed while toiling in his dusty, crop barren soil. A vision, beauty and light, descended from the Heavens and said, "Oh Grinder Nova, do not be afraid. For I bestow the power and majesty of The Beloved Blend." .. THE OMNIPOTENT POUR .. And so it was. He knew in an instant this awesome grind would change the face and shape of coffee lovers everywhere. With just one sip of The Omnipotent Pour, he was miraculously transcended to a place where fatigue and lament no longer existed, where strength was as abundant as the bean that grew freely amongst rich soil that was magically transformed beneath his briar torn boots. .. THE HEAVENLY CUP .. Those whose share in the Heavenly Cup shall never thirst, ye shall never sloth, sickness and ills shall pass and slumber be mighty. .. THE PROTECTOR OF THE BEAN .. Taste, you shall be anointed La Córdoba Raza. And the chosen peoples agree, this poor peasant farmer has become savior. A monument befitting kings and nobles stands erect in the town square where each year children dance and people celebrate “The Best Grind You Can Find.” .. The story will take you back, but the taste will take you away.. .. RICO HAVIK, INC... Córdoba, Mexico ..

Erik decided to settle in Florida due to the great flute making bamboo called Bambusa Multiplex that grew in southern China and settled into Japan for centuries. It arrived by steam ship from Yokohama to San Francisco and came by train to Florida in the mid 1880's, settling into the sub-tropical gardens of pioneer horticulturalists and then into the earliest plant nurseries which spread the bamboo around Florida. Finding old clumps of bamboo to make flutes has been Erik’s joy and treasure, but it all began with a wooden flute made in India...

Search Add 2 Godfarts Godfarts (later renamed [a3344260]) was a punk rock band from Barcelona. Influenced by the punk rock wave of the 80s and 90s, and potentially marked by skateboarding. At the beginning of 2007, Oscar Puig (vocalist and guitar) met the brothers Sergi (guitar) and Ricard Bouffard (drums) at high school. Seeing their great love for music and sharing the same musical tastes, they immediately decided to form a band, learning to play instruments almost from scratch. In the middle of that year the band established itself under the name Godfarts. After a long search, and after playing with several bassists during the first months, they met Víctor Mañas (bass), (who at that time was the drummer of the band KTKalles) and who also shared a great love not only for music but also for skateboarding. The arrival of Víctor Mañas marks the definitive closure of the formation. In mid-2008 and at their young age they decided to record their first demo called "Restless" edited by themselves. This opens a space for them in the local Barcelona scene and leads them to give their first concerts. In 2010 they recorded their first studio album called "Messed Up Minds", released under the labels "Eating Shit Records" (SP) and "Fragment Records" (SP), where the band's first single "Downhill To Hell In" is found. A Row" of which they filmed their first video clip, referring to extreme descents on a skateboard. This album led them to their first national tours, including a Peninsular tour with the legendary North American band 7 Seconds in 2012, and their first European tour. During this period they shared the stage with bands such as Face To Face, Adolescents The Casualties, The Unseen among others. That same year the group signed with Vans Music Spain.

Search Add 2 Life Brothers life brothers 4 - life brothers music and more ... 2005 Neue Shows werden kreiert.

Search Add 2 Gerten Gerten is an experimental synth project which has been found in Moscow, Russia, by Eugene Gin (vocal, lyrics) and Dee Grinski (synthesizers) in 2015. Later Constantine Morkovin joined them on programming drums and other electronics. All members have other projects which exist as part of «Own Cause» union. They are Manunkind, Main Unit and Dee Grinski. Gerten represents an unique blend of synth-punk, a dark liquid sound and atmospheric existential lyrics. The strong analog sound and very powerful rhythmic basis connect with reflections about the post-modern world, social unpleasant details and surrealistic fears. Trying to combine elements of art-punk and synth-punk with Russian intelligent avant-garde leads the band on the way of the best representatives of the Europe's synth-music
