Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | Gilbert Neal | Gilbert George Neal | The eclecticism of Gilbert Neal might suggest a changeling, or a dilettante, or maybe a jack of all trades. But such a characterization would miss the mark. Neal is more curious than distracted, more inquisitive than restless. In his mastery of rock, funk, folk, blues, jazz, and even musical theatre, he embodies the modern pop artist: an intrepid tourist of styles. After releasing four albums independently, Neal created his 2016 Wampus debut, The Mayor of Estes Park, by raising every bar, from songwriting to performance to arrangements. From existential funk to plaintive wit to loopy joy, he grabbed with hooks and grooves, pranks and koans. Swinging from the mainstream to the fringe, he was earnestly sincere one minute and brutally sardonic the next. Then, in an epoch of budding cultural collapse, he issued the bittersweet and unsparing follow-up, Mistakes of Memory. Relying on his mastery of musical theatre and zeal for classic prog, Neal crafted a narrative of longing and disconnection, a timeless pop curio that recalled nothing so much as the adventurousness of ‘70s rock. Yet the funky and mordant “Claudius,” a parable of American leadership circa 2020, placed Mistakes firmly in the glare of its moment and positioned Neal as an artist to watch amid chaos and change. Now, in the wake of a pandemic that waxes and wanes but never quite vacates, Neal delivers the provocative and bitingly personal I’ll See You When I See You, an obliquely passionate salvo that feels alien yet warmly familiar. On one level, it maps the dissolution of a (virtual? long-distance?) romantic entanglement. On another, it explores the mystery and dread framing the global perception of Russian culture. As always, Neal refracts the depth and diversity of his influences: Leonard Cohen, Pink Floyd, ELO, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, and Stephen Sondheim. “All my albums touch on religion, sex, age, and hope,” he says. “I treat them all like musicals.” I’ll See You When I See You comes out May 20, 2022. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Carri-On | Carri-On was founded in 1989 by Steve Berka, in Danville, Kentucky. In 1990, after solidifying the 3-piece lineup of Steve, Wayne Reidinger, and Josh "Mosh" Howard, the band relocated to the city where Steve was born, Cleveland, Ohio. Once in Cleveland they moved into a 3-bedroom house and began building a home-studio. They soon combined their gear with that of sound engineer (and keyboardist) Dan Mace, and in August 1991 they recorded "Now Unveiled" in the home-studio, recorded and engineered by Mace. They also began playing live shows alongside numerous other bands from the Ohio Metal scene of the era, such as Winters Bane, Mystik, Advocate, Blessed Sickness, Hemlock, Sin-Eater, and several others. A few months after, Wayne then left to join the Military and the band recruited bassist Byron Baker. This lineup continued playing live and later recorded and released the "Carri-On" demo on cassette, and before the end of 1993 they brought the masters of "Carri-On" to Modern Recording Services to have it remixed and cleaned up. The result was the "Carri-On" album released on CD, with much higher production values then any release of theirs to date. In 1994 Josh Mosh moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and Steve Berka later recorded a very rare EP and a second full-length of all-new material (Steve on all instruments), the EP called "Symbol" and the album called "The Writings of Now", which he reveres as Carri-On's best work. "The Writings of Now" also marked the first time Berka experimented with a deeper, raspy vocal style mixed with his normal singing style. "Symbol" was professionally pressed onto cassettes, although in extremely small quantities (only about 30 copies were printed). The 1995 album "The Writings...", was pressed onto a similarly small number of clear studio tapes with tape labels placed by hand, and shortly after the 1996 completion of the small quantity of tapes Steve and Byron re-located to California and formed a new lineup. They also developed a new completely new style that was 70's-influenced Psychedelic/Hard Rock. This lineup released the album "Necessary Evils" in 2001. | |

In 1987, using Philadelphia as a base, the band developed a nationwide following touring from California to New York with plenty of stops in between with occasional trips back home to Miami. By the mid 90's, they had established themselves as the hottest act in Philadelphia and broke the international scene with tours to Jamaica and Europe. Their recording "Always Something There To Remind Me" hit #5 on the Hawaiian charts and was soon followed by "Let Your Love Flow", "No Matter What Your Color", and "Book Of Rules" from their 1998 self-titled release. Although they continued to tour, the majority of their time was spent at home where they rocked SOBE crowds 5 nights a week on Ocean Drive at Mango's Tropical Cafe in Miami, Florida. Their third album "4:20 Rough" was released in 2000. In 2007 they released their fourth album titled "Anthology", which included the hit song "Top Of The Line". Through the rigors of touring, Inna Sense has not missed a beat since they started in 1987. Since 2007 Inna Sense has decided to transform their music with a new sound called "Rasta Rock". Playing for crowds up and down the east coast, the new genre has been a huge success. https://ourstage.com/profile/innasense INNA SENSE: A BRIEF HISTORY - by Peter McEvilley (aka Swee'Pea) Formed in Aug. 1990 by John Paul Graham A.K.A. Man Called Scratch. Jamaican student in Gainesville Scratch, who had played with a few college reggae bands at UNF moved to Miami to search for better opportunities to play and promote Reggae music. There he formed Inna Sense, which consisted of Scratch, Prince Patrick (Jamaican), Peter Swee Pea McEvilley (Cincinnatian living in Miami), Jimi Dred (brought down by Scratch from Gainesville, originally from Ocala, FL) and Harold heavyweight Estime (Haitian). The band, with two weeks of rehearsal under their belts, left for Belize, Central America, for a month long tours. Belizean friends of Scratch who were well connected with the Belizean government arranged the tour. The tour was celebrating Belize's 10th year of independence. Plane tickets, transportation, and the government provided accommodations. The band played in nearly every out of the way little spot in Belize and was extremely well received. Many areas they played had not ever seen a live band from another country. Riots started to break out twice when Inna Sense stopped and the band was forced to play until near daylight to keep everyone happy. But, enjoying the beautiful country and feeling the effects of the local rum CANE JUICE (also one of the tours sponsors), the boys were happy to oblige. Excited by the tour and exhausted, the band returned to Miami where they almost immediately began playing at Tropic's which is now the All-Star Cafe. Friday night, Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday the band could be seen playing, always full of energy, enthusiasm, and always encouraging the audience to tune into the good vibe. In no time at all, Tropic's was packed to the brim with tourists and locals alike. It was a happening. Within a few months, Inna Sense was named the best Reggae band of Miami by the New Times. Now (1991) the band was working 8 shows a weeks from south beach to Ft. Lauderdale. They were building a great reputation and a large following. At this point Inna Sense started recording their first album United with legendary engineer/producer Karl Pitterson (Bob Marley, Steel Pulse). With new album in hand, the band decided to cash in their chips in Miami and hit the road. Using contacts they had met in Miami (mostly club owners from around the eastern US who, on vacation in Miami had said here is my card, call me if you guys ever want to play in....) The band began touring in up and down the East coast and Midwest. They built a nice following in cities like Cincinnati, Chicago, Grand Rapids Mich., Tampa, Washington DC and many others. During this period, because of exhaustion and minor differences, Man Called Scratch left to pursue a solo career. Immediately after their first tour, Inna Sense was offered a steady gig at a club they had played in Philly on tour. The club was KatManDu where they have played every summer since. After their first summer in Philly, the band decided to go west. They headed out to sunny Southern California. Here they met with local reggae promoter Roberto Angotti. Roberto was very instrumental in the careers of UB40 and Pato Banton. He had been out of the business for a while but decided to get back into it when he received Inna Sense's CD. He immediately took them under his wing (put them up in his house) and started booking them up and down the West coast. They played San Diego, L.A., Santa Barbara, San Jose and many others. At the end of the winter, the band headed back to Philly. Inna Sense has built a large following in Philadelphia where they eventually stayed for two and a half years (1995-1996). During this period, they spent much time learning the art of studio recording and worked on the initial ideas for there current self titled album. Also during this time, drummer Swee Pea, started his own record label, Swee Pea Records. The idea of the label being to give Inna Sense and other artists they had met on the road a home for their recorded music. Swee Pea records released Reggae Jam-1, a compilation of Inna Sense, Man Called Scratch, and friends. The album was not released in the mainland U.S although many copies were sold at shows. The album was, however, released in Hawaii where the label was able to set up a distribution deal. Coincidentally, the two songs on the album that received the most radio play were by Inna Sense and Man Called Scratch. Both acts have now released full-length albums in Hawaii where they are well known and are played on the largest stations (KCCN) in Hawaii. Inna Sense recently (October 1998) toured across the US mainland to California where they flew to Hawaii and played 5 shows on 3 different islands (Oahu, Hawaii, and Maui). Scratch was also on the shows, which was a nice addition and reminded the band of the early days at Tropic's on South Beach. The band was well received in Hawaii where they were special guest on the TV show Good Morning Honolulu (NBC affiliate) and did 7 different radio interviews. The album is selling well in Hawaii and will be released nationally on the mainland by Swee Pea Records (who are in the process of signing a distribution deal for the label) no later than this fall. Promoters in Hawaii are currently setting up shows for the band and Scratch for September of this year. Other highlights of the band¹s career include their trip to Europe where they played with Julian Lennon on a benefit for the Australian Rainforest. While there, they played for, met Prince Albert and Princess Stephanie, and stayed at Julian Lennon¹s house. Julian (or Jules as we like to call him) was a regular guest at all of their performances and was even seen late nights at a few afterhours clubs doing improvised acoustic sets with Peter Swee Pea McEvilley on the piano and Jimmy Dread backing him up on the vocals. Currently, the band resides in Miami where they are playing at Mango's and the Hungry Sailor and rapidly building a new following consisting of some fans from the old days and many new fans. They are planning lots of touring for the summer (including Hawaii) and are working on a new album. From https://web.archive.org/web/20000930041719/http://www.innasense.com/band_history.htm

They found [a1962850], a classically trained bassist, and they started playing around town as BBC, getting some notice in NYC. They found that the name BBC was already in use, so changed the band to Electa Five. They acquired a manager, Jerry Tavin, who had successfully managed some European artists. Their strategy was to get a hit overseas, then launch in the US. They did manage the first part, with "The Thin Man on the Run", co-written by Kelvyn and Tom, on Master Records, a German label, charting and spawning an album and a tour in Europe but failed to crossover back in the US. They disbanded in 1982.

| Search | Add | 7 | Jetter Green | Jetter Green | Jetter Green, 36, a San Diego native has been surrounded and intrigued by art for as long as he can remember. His father, an entrepreneur and architectural designer, and his mother, a calligrapher and avid crafter, contributed to Jetter’s creative spark being kindled at an early age. In high school, artistic visions merged with technology, and his passion ignited. Jetter earned a BA in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of California. He then accepted a position at a print house in Encinitas where he began to hone his skills in print and color theory. Three years later, feeling a desire to be challenged creatively, Jetter sought a design position at a local creative agency. His encounter with the demands, needs and challenges of a larger clientele prompted a natural segue into the realm of web design. A year later, stifled by the politics of the industry and yearning for greater creative license, Jetter made the decision to go freelance. In early 2007, using his own entrepreneurial spirit and joining with a close designer friend, Outlier Creative, a think tank for cutting edge design, was born. The company works exclusively via their website and has an impressive list of domestic and international clientele. Three years later, Jetter’s perpetual “itch” for something new and different led him to explore new outlets for his creative urges. In 2009, while attending Burning Man and Lightning in the Bottle, Jetter’s alternative vision and creativity were inspired, and he finally began to create art for himself that would heal, expand, and explore the life experience. Always drawn to the concept of math as a universal language, the complex patterns found in nature, vivid colors, energetic properties and the infinite space within each of us, he turned to those elements as inspiration to create artwork that is not premeditated but instead evolves from the free flow of consciousness. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Holy Terrors | A brief history... 1990-1991: After disbanding their Boston quartet Inside Outburst, [a=Rob Elba] and [a=Dan Hosker] made the inexplicable decision to leave the countless clubs, supportive college radio stations, and a teeming Boston music scene to form a new band in sunny South Florida. Whatever made them think that the land of vacationing French-Canadians, retirees, and the $5.95 early bird special would be conductive to forming an original rock band is anybody's guess -- suffice it to say these guys weren't rocket scientists. But form a band they did. And with drummer [a=Sam Fogarino] and bass player [a=Frank Labrador], they christened themselves The Holy Terrors and set out to conquer the Miami/Fort Lauderdale rock music scene, which took about two weeks. With local producer Frank "Rat Bastard" Falestra, they recorded and released two singles, [r=4182206] and [r=4182384], as well as [r=8155409], a six-song cassette recorded live on Bob Slade's Off the Beaten Path radio show on WLRN (91.3-FM). 1991-1996: When Frank decided to quit the band and pursue a career of "not playing in a band anymore," Sam recruited friend William Trev, who performed with Sam in a Rat Bastard project called The Wahoos, to play bass. In 1993 the Terrors again entered the studio and began working on their first full-length release, [r=6092600], for local label [l=Pound Records]. Pound was a subsidiary of the successful South Florida bass label [l=Neurodisc Records], and as its first "rock" release [r=6092600] proved to be decidedly un-bootylicious for the rap label. An East Coast/Midwest tour followed, but by the time the Terrors returned, it was apparent that this was indeed a marriage made in hell. The band and label soon parted ways. 1996-1999: The Holy Terrors continued playing locally and regionally, often driving 10 hours or more just to get OUT of Florida and play support shows for touring bands who didn't realize there were actually people living south of Tallahassee (which, technically, there are). By 1996, drummer Sam had grown tired of the non-stop fun and left the band to follow a series of girlfriends up and down the East Coast, eventually settling in New York City and joining soon-to-be [l=Matador] recording artists [a=Interpol]. Fellow musician [a=Mike Bocsusis] of the band [a=One (54)] took over drum duties, and the Terrors released their third single, [r=4182365]. In 1998 the Terrors again entered the studio, this time with producer [a=Jeremy Dubois], to begin recording another full-length album. With 5 songs in the can, guitarist and co-founding member [a=Dan Hosker] decided to take a break and tour with his other band, [a=Harry Pussy]. 2001-2012: Proving that you can't keep a good band down, and that there really isn't a whole hell of a lot to do in South Florida, The Holy Terrors, with Dan back in the fold, begin to play out again. Long-time fan Tom Berman of [l=Purple Skunk Records (2)] approaches the band about releasing material, and after the requisite all-night pepsi-snorting-record-signing-in-blood session, an agreement is made. The long-lost [a=Jeremy Dubois] sessions are retrieved, various unreleased studio and live tracks are assembled, and the final result is the epic, career-spanning, appropriately titled, [r=8120110]. Oh, and the early bird is now $6.95 | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Taavi Daft | Taavi Daft is a stage name for a musician who has a unique style and soothing compositions. Taavi discovered his love for music at a young age and began experimenting with different sounds and instruments. Besides guitar and piano, he was particularly fascinated by electronic music with its seemingly endless possibilities. As his talent grew, Taavi began composing and producing music for other artists, and his work quickly gained recognition. However, after a health breakdown, he realised that he needed to change his life and return to nature to slow down the pace of life. This experience inspired him to make music that touches people's souls and helps them find inner peace. Taavi's music has a relaxing and meditative effect that helps listeners escape from everyday life and find themselves. He believes that his music has the power to heal and bring people together. With his music, Taavi wants to reach people's hearts and spread love and positivity. | |
