Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 7 | Aymat | Joel Carlo | Aymat is a producer and former Colorado resident currently residing in Barcelona, Spain. He was born and raised in Puerto Rico and credits his Caribbean roots as his first musical influence, an amalgamation of Latin music and jazz based rhythms. In his formative years, he moved to the U.S. where he grew up listening to and influenced by a wide variety of musical genres, with a particular affinity for British popular music in the 1980's. In the early 90's, he began exploring dance music in nightclubs and illegal raves throughout Florida and Colorado, which eventually led him to DJing and finally producing his own music in the late 90's. Following his move to Barcelona in 2010, he released his first unofficial singles "Letting Go" and "Your Smile" in January 2011. Although he carries a deep love for many genres of electronic music, he considers himself a passionate junglist and drum & bass producer. |

Search | Add | 7 | Bersurke | MA native Bersurke is an artist/producer truly in his own lane. Not swayed by current trends or waves, his style is routed in traditional underground, hardcore hip hop - and is as brutal as it is entertaining. Bersurke began his musical journey producing at the age of 17. He quickly established himself in his home court as “The Guy” with offbeat and heavy hitting instrumentals. Bersurke, frustrated by lackluster raps of the mainstream, founded Supreme Corpse Records in 2012 as a vehicle to release music that took aim at all things whack. Later in 2015, he and label mate Jeff “Daddio Smoov” Spencer released their first full length project “Supreme Corpse: Diggin’ in the Graves” which was fully produced by Bersurke and featured contributions from Still Evan (formally illEvan) and Lo Wav (credited C-Lo Dice). The project became a cult classic in the Boston underground scene, and the success of the single “Keepin’ It Dirty ft. illEvan (Still Evan)” gave Bersurke the idea to add Still Evan to the Supreme Corpse Records roster. From there, Bersurke, Daddio Smoov, and Still Evan went on to form Ill Supreme - a trio that would prove to be a force to be reckoned with. Their self-titled debut project went on to gain the acclaim of local artists and fans alike. Following a few singles, Bersurke released his first solo project “He’s Gonna Puke!” in 2017, featuring production from the one and only Johnny Slash on 3 of the tracks. It was at this point Bersurke’s outlandish and vivid style began to shine on songs like “Kin to the Devil”. In 2018, Ill Supreme released “Ill Supreme 2”. This was one week before Ill Supreme embarked on 22 date tour opening for Apathy and Celph Titled, performing sold out venues across the Northeast and Midwest. He returned with a renewed passion that drove him to create even harder, more refined music. He unleashed a string of singles in 2018-19, and EP “Tricks Are for Kids” in 2020. Shortly thereafter, he signed underground enigma Wes Nihil to Supreme Corpse Records and produced Wes’ EP “The Wes Side Story”. He also lent a verse on the title track of the project, which it’s music video gained thousands of views across YouTube and Facebook. The song gained so much traction in-fact, that NJ brewery Kardinal Brewing decided to name a limited edition pale ale “Peeper of the Theory” after the song. As a Producer, He has Produced songs for both local rappers in the Boston/New Hampshire scene & legendary underground acts such as Cody Pope, Wes NiHil, ILL Supreme, Pacewon, Danny Diablo AKA lord Ezec, Mars and many more. Even in quarantine, Bersurke’s ambition did not falter. In the Fall of 2020, he released his next full length LP “Multiple Disturbances”, a truly disturbing masterpiece featuring Daddio Smoov, Still Evan, Lo Wav, Cody Pope, Tru Klassick, Wes Nihil, 8-Bza and Johnny Slash. As we enter the present, Bersurke continues to steer Supreme Corpse Records toward becoming the next indie record label to watch. Supreme Corpse Records released the album “Nothing Changed but the Name” by Still Evan, Still’s first project since changing his rap moniker, capturing the ears of playlist curators and thousands of listeners. Bersurke will return in late March of 2021 with he and Smoov’s first single of the year “Painful Veins”, which is sure to set the bar even higher once again. Stay tapped in to the sickest motherf***er on earth, Mister Bersurke!

Search | Add | 7 | Cure-A-Phobia | contakt: info@cure-a-phobia.com … Everyone is afraid of something. Some are afraid of big spiders, some wide spaces, and others elevators. Cure-a-Phobia decided one day to stop worrying and to curiously explore the uncomfortable: a pair of too tight shoes, a note askew, or maybe an odd meter that makes you lose your balance. They were delighted to find that what is awry and wintering also can be beautiful. They simply couldn’t help but to throw themselves into it… Cure-a-Phobia consists of musicians with different musical backgrounds ranging from jazz to folk to musicals and classical music, but with a mutual love of experimentation and improvisation. Together they produce a unique sound with a touch of jazz, pop and what one may call cabaret, with their very own signature. The music, composed by Jenny Nilsson and arranged by Cure-a-Phobia, follows no written rules or patterns. It is seldom fixed to a specific key or time signature but is still rhythmic and somehow logical. The lyrics are touching, funny, or questioning and invite personal interpretations.

Unfortunately the Argentinean albums back covers were not very informative and as a consequence, additional details on the band were very difficult to get. As far as we know, there were only two instrumental albums recorded on the BGM, Magenta and Music Hall labels.

Search | Add | 7 | Christian Woodyatt | Christian Woodyatt | [a=Christian Woodyatt]'s induction into clubland began in Nottingham way back in the late eighties as early US house consumed the British scene. Having spent many a sweat night on the dancefloor at Nottingham’s Garage Club, educated by the soundtrack of the ubiquitous Graeme Park, he was caught by the bug and slowly began nurturing his own style and skills. By 1991, Christian had appeared at several local underground soirées, which brought him to the attention of one James Baillie, the then head honcho of the now legendary “Venus” club. Soon after, his he was invited to take the helm as the resident for its infamous Saturday nights. What started out as simply a regular slot for playing his slick mix of US house and Balearic gems, rapidly developed into one of the Midlands’ seminal nights out. He often found himself playing alongside some of the International figureheads of the scene at that time; rubbing shoulders with the cream of the world’s DJs. Christian’s talents didn’t go unnoticed; in addition to the growing demand for guest appearances, he was receiving good press from various lifestyle bibles of the time – named as ‘one to watch’ by Mixmag and listed on the ‘hot or not barometer’ of The Face magazine “..You may not have heard of him yet but you will, a Balearic DJ who can mix…” During 1993 Christian’s career soared and, following a ‘DJ of the month’ article in i-D magazine, he was invited to appear on the magazine’s World Tour playing alongside Tony Humphries, a long time hero of his – this denoted a significant rise in his profile and secured his credentials. Over the ensuing years he could be found playing at pretty much every major club and event throughout the UK and overseas – a personal highlight being regular appearances at the world renowned Southport Weekender. What followed was an offer that, in retrospect, truly established him as a key player in the UK house and garage scene; a monthly residency at the Ministry of Sound. During this period, Christian was lucky enough to play alongside such luminaries as CJ Macintosh, Dave Lee, David Morales, Roger Sanchez, Masters at Work and, his early inspiration, Graeme Park. In the mid nineties Christian made the inevitable move into production teaming up with [a=Chris Scott] of [a=Happy Clappers] fame to release the [r=555901]. Once again, he caught the bug and continued to pursue his production aspirations, a few years later landing a deal with Virgin Records – releasing [r=125233] under the guise of [a=Nu Soulboy]. Various remix projects followed, most notably the Nu Soulboy Mix of [r=171355] on Todd Terry’s [l=Sound Design] imprint label and Cindy Mizelle’s "Shine on Me", through A&R Records. This brings us to the present day – although Christian still makes infrequent forays into the DJing arena, his main area of focus is production. More recently he used his own small independent label [l=Gorgeous Brown] as a vehicle for releasing his own work. However, the unexpected demise of the distribution company saw this come to a premature end. Having taken a step back from the scene to focus on his personal goals, Christian has now returned; stronger than ever and determined to bring his music once more to the fore. His new digital label imprint ‘Sensoul Records’ is due to launch Summer ’09. |

Search | Add | 6 | Mark "M. E." Edwards | Biography (from his website, 2019) Mark “M.E.” Edwards, the lead guitarist/founding member of OVERLORDE and a solo instrumental guitarist, is a native of Scotch Plains, New Jersey. After a 6 year period living in New York City ending in 2012, Mark returned to central New Jersey. He is a member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers). Mark is not the first musician in his family. His father’s uncle, Jerry Serly, was an accomplished musician and member of NY Local 802. Jerry held various positions within the union during his lengthy tenure after joining in 1927. Jerry’s wife, Elaine, was also a musician. Jerry's father, Lajos Serly, was a highly esteemed Hungarian composer and conductor. Jerry's brother, Tibor Serly, was an accomplished violinist-violist and music theorist who composed major theatrical pieces. Tibor completed Béla Bartók’s two unfinished works after Bartók’s death. Mark took his first guitar lesson in 1971 when he was ten years old. His teacher was Tom Ragusa at the Scotch Plains Music Center in NJ. Lessons went on until he graduated High School in 1979. During that time he was a member of two rock bands as well as a member of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School jazz band “Moonglowers”, the oldest High School jazz band in the state of New Jersey. While attending Old Dominion University, Mark played in that school’s jazz ensemble. Afterwards, around 1982, Mark was involved in his first metal band. Named PARTHENON, this band did covers by Def Leppard, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Rush, Zeppelin, and even Cheech and Chong. This band was the first to perform Mark’s metal originals, three songs that Mark had written and the band learned. Also, it was about this time when Mark's friends began referring to him by his initials, "M.E.". 1984 saw Mark purchase his trademark white Flying V, and meet John Bunucci. John would not only go on to form OVERLORDE with Mark, but also become a lifelong friend. And in Mark’s opinion, the world’s best power/true/classic metal bassist. Overlorde performed its first show in November 1985 after drummer David L. Wrenn joined the band. The group added vocalist Pat O’Donnell in 1986 and played numerous NJ/NY area shows. The band then recorded and self released a 5-song EP on its own Strike Zone Records label. What was supposed to be a stepping stone to a bigger label deal instead led to the band's eventual demise in late 1988. Or did it? More on that later. M.E. started his first solo project shortly thereafter. Titled BREAKER M.E. (a nickname variation inspired by his affinity for Australian bush hats of the type worn in the movie Breaker Morant), it went from being a solo project to a band and released a self-titled 4-song cassette demo before disbanding in 1992. After this, M.E. became disillusioned with participating in bands and went truly solo. Thus began a period of recording and performing instrumentals in the style of Joe Satriani. Bass and drum parts were provided by a Roland R-70 which he had learned to program to great effect. His Fostex 250 4-track cassette deck saw a great deal of use as he recorded numerous songs beginning in 1992. The first official demo coming from these sessions being a 30-minute cassette titled G.W.A. (GUITAR WITH ATTITUDE). This was followed by a live-to-DAT, in-studio session in 1995 that was released as a 30 minute demo titled WHAT YOU HEAR IS WHAT YOU GET. By this time, Mark was mainly utilizing a Fender Stratocaster in place of his Flying V. The late 90's saw M.E. launch a basic website, and begin utilizing his voice on various recordings including an eclectic 3-song demo titled Demo 1999. He had also moved up from his 4-track multi-track cassette recorder to a digital 16-track Roland VS-1680. But it was December 1999 when everything old became new again, and the call of the Flying V began to harken once more. This is when Overlorde drummer Dave Wrenn contacted M.E. about some interest in Overlorde, mainly from fans in Europe. This news came as quite a surprise, since the 1987 EP had basically only been sold in NJ/NY area shops. It had been assumed that Overlorde was a NJ area metal footnote and nothing more. Upon additional investigating, it became apparent that the 1987 EP had garnered the band a cult following in both the USA and Europe. John, Dave and Mark decided to look into the possibility of a reunion in early 2000. The official website, www.overlorde.com, was launched in February 2000 and the reunion became a reality in July 2000. In the fall of 2000, the band announced that vocalist Bobby "Leather Lungs" Lucas (ex- SEVEN WITCHES/Massacre Records and EXHIBITION/LMP Records) had joined the band to round out the reunion lineup. A 4-song demo, OVERLORDE 2000, was recorded and released in December 2000. The demo received tremendous response from fans and critics alike. This included a “perfect 12” rating from Germany's HEAVY, ODER WAS?! magazine. A few shows were played, including some U.S. metal festivals, where the band shared the stage with acts such as ANVIL, SEVEN WITCHES, and MANILLA ROAD, receiving great audience response. The band seemed sure to obtain a record deal and release its long delayed full length CD. And so it was that in April 2004, the band announced it had signed with Greece’s premier Heavy Metal Label, CULT METAL CLASSICS (now SONIC AGE RECORDS). Recording began in summer 2004 and their 13-song CD titled RETURN OF THE SNOW GIANT was released to excellent reviews worldwide on December 17, 2004. Once again their CD received a “perfect 12” rating from Germany's HEAVY, ODER WAS?! magazine. M.E. wrote full music and lyrics for four of the songs on the release and co-wrote the music for all the remaining songs with the exception of the short bass/drum intro AND THE BATTLE BEGINS… M.E. performed his debut European show when Overlorde played at Keep It True IV Metalfest in April 2005 and his performance is documented on the official KIT IV DVD. Overlorde also celebrated its 20th Anniversary year in 2005 with an interview on WDHA’s Metal Mania radio show. In the summer of 2015, Germany's DEAF FOREVER magazine named RETURN OF THE SNOW GIANT one of its "Top 100 U.S. Metal Albums of all Time". The band is preparing a followup CD. Having devoted 100% of his music-related efforts to Overlorde from 2000 to 2003, M.E. decided to take some time and make his 1994 demo G.W.A. (GUITAR WITH ATTITUDE) available on CD-R. This demo re-release, with an additional 5 songs, occurred in the fall of 2003 along with the launching of his own www.meflyingv.com website to replace his 90’s designed site. 2003 also saw M.E. start his own ASCAP affiliated music publishing company, ARMORED FORCE PUBLISHING. Besides continuing with Overlorde, Mark also plans to promote his instrumental material for use in movies, TV shows, etc. Some of his works have already appeared in independent releases. He is currently preparing to shop a 9-song instrumental re-release of WHAT YOU HEAR IS WHAT YOU GET that also includes videos from his performances on a local cable show called T-TIME. He is also preparing to make his G.W.A. (GUITAR WITH ATTITUDE) available on i-tunes . And having written or co-written approximately 100 songs over a range of hard & heavy music styles (and even some in a modern country vein), Mark hopes to eventually record and release other material utilizing his home studio, and/or license songs to other recording artists. M.E. performs his instrumental set as a unique “one man show”. Himself on electric guitar accompanied by programmed drums and bass. This allows him to perform in situations where a full band might not fit. M.E. has accumulated a number of endorsement deals and also released presets for Steinberg's Cubase DAW. The presets are for Steinberg's VST AMPRACK plugin.

Search | Add | 6 | Rev. Robert Fraser | Robert Fraser | There is scant information out there regarding the Fraser Radio Gospel Hour. It started in 1925 and ran possibly as late as 1973 and was hosted by Rev. Robert Fraser a Blind Radio Evangelist in Philadelphia. He headed several related charities including the Fraser Home for Elderly Ladies, the Fraser Mission and the Fraser Home for Girls. He was born on March 14th 1906, and attended Overbrook school for the blind also in Philly. The book Undaunted by Blindness by Clifford E. Olstrom claims that he was singing on the radio by the age of 16. That seems dubious as that'd be in 1922, but there were at least a few stations in Philadelphia at that time: WFI-AM, WOO-AM, WGL-AM, WCAU-AM, and WDAR-AM, so it is possible. The Olstrom reference I found for this seemed weak. The book does got the man's age wrong a sentence later claiming he was 19 in 1923... oops. Fraser wrote his autobiography in 1936 titled Overcoming Obstacles, chapter 4 is "Growing up with radio." It ironed out the specifics. It details his early radio appearances. He worked with Christopher W. Graham (Uncle WIP) on WIP-AM, and on WCAU-AM he played the character "Sunshine Boy." He sang with Dumont and Emmett Welsch's Minstrels on WFI-AM and WDAR-AM. But in 1924 he was converted and gave up jazz and vaudeville for gospel and preaching. It's unclear where he might have preached on the radio in the early years but he and his wife Ella Stark were married in the studio of WCAU, so it's probably that station. Another book, 30 Years With Radio looks back at the program over it's history. It was published in 1955 to commemorate 30 years of his radio program. It lists WLBR, WIBG, WNAR, WVCH and WKAP among others but often lacking dates. But the autobiography noted that they broadcast 532 shows on WIP-AM. If the Fraser Radio Gospel Hour was always weekly program, that means spent the better part of a decade on WIP before appearing on any of those other stations. |

Search | Add | 6 | Thildo Gama | Thildo dos Santos Gama | Thildo Gama (Salvador, June 5, 1945 - Salvador, December 8, 2011) was a Brazilian musician, artist, teacher and auditor. He was the first guitarist of [a=Raul Seixas] and one of the pioneers of the Bahian rock. In addition to being a musician, he was also a fiscal auditor of the Bahia State Treasury Department, a university professor and, more recently, became a clown, creating the characters "Zig Zig Zaa" and "Tô de Boa". Thildo began playing with his friend Raul in his teens and were two of the first rockers of Salvador, still in the 1950s. In 1962, they formed the group Relâmpagos Do Rock, along with Enelmar Chagas. The band quickly became popular in Salvador. Shortly thereafter, Chagas leaves the group and is replaced by Thildo's brother, Délcio Gama. Still in 1962, Os Relâmpagos Do Rock appear on TV Itapoan. The recording of this presentation is in the album O Baú Do Raul (1992). According to the magazine A Bahia, the band Os Relâmpagos Do Rock was the best set of rock of all the state. With the success, the group grew and was renamed The Panthers, now counting with [a=Mariano Lanat], [a=Carleba] and Carlô (neighbor of Raul, who stayed in the band until 1964), besides Raul Seixas and Thildo. Thildo left the group in 1967, not being present in Raul Seixas' first album, "Raulzito E Os Panteras", in 1967. He also participated in other bands such as Thildo E Seu Bossas E Os Jovens, and released the compact Thildo Gama E Os Terríveis by the Astor, in 1967. This compact had on side A, the song 'Bonequinha', version of Waldir Serrão for 'Pretty Woman', of [a=Roy Orbison]; On the B side there was 'Você É Inspiração' (Jeff Cezar and Thildo Gama), both songs came with the name surf, considered the first recording of a Bahian artist to designate his production within the subgenre surf music. In the 80's Thildo also participated in a group folkloric group from Bahia, making presentations in Italy and Chile. Thildo was always present in the musical scene of Salvador: he played in bands, performed several shows and recorded independent albums. In 2002, together with the auditor also fiscal Francisco Benjamin, formed the pair Beja & Gama that touched in dancing shows. In 2009, Gama performed at the Virada Cultural de São Paulo with Os Panteras, at which time they played the first Seixas album in its entirety. He died of a brain cancer, is buried in the Bosque da Paz cemetery in Salvador. |
