Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

In the early days of rock n' roll in Kansas City, there was a large crowd following [a=Larry Emmett] & [a=The Sliders (5)], to which Tom quickly became attached. Tom Bark and Larry Emmett, both being Native American, formed a musical friendship, later forming the group Swingin’ Indians. Tom recorded the eclectic solo album Cosmopolitan Redskin in 1977, featuring songs in modern blues, country, and heavy psych. Tom later became a member of [a=The Kansas City Blues Band] , [a3228793], and another Kansas City blues group called Colt 45. Fred met his wife Rose at Duquesne University where they were both students on full scholarship with the internationally famous Duquesne Tamburitzans; they have been married for 32 years. Fred has a bachelor's degree in Education. Fred's daughter Diane and son Mark were both members of the Sloga Junior Tamburitzans and the Duquesne University Tamburitzans. Rosie Husnick has been Assistant Director of the Sloga Junior Tamburitzans for about 20 years and is currently the group's Director. Fred directs students in the Sloga Junior Tammies. Together with his wife, Fred organized an adult kolo group about ten years ago. They formed the Adult Tamburitzan Group Veseljaci about three years ago. This group has performed twice at the annual Adult Concerts. Fred formed the famous Veseli Tamburitzans after his two-year tour in the Army. Veseli Tamburitzans are working on their seventh recording. Rose's golden voice and Fred's technical skills make their recordings a huge success. Invitado por el musicólogo M. S. Kastner, estudió musicología e interpretación de la música ibérica antigua en Lisboa, becado por la Fundación Calouste Gulbenkian. A fin de dar a conocer esta música y los órganos históricos de Cataluña, creó en 1980 el Curso Internacional de Interpretación de música ibérica antigua para órgano, en Torredembarra y Montblanc, donde imparte clases cada verano. Poseedor de un amplio repertorio que comprende la música antigua y las obras de compositores clásicos, románticos, contemporáneos y música de cámara, desarrolla su actividad como concertista en toda España y en la mayoría de los países europeos. También ha ofrecido conciertos en América Latina, Turquía y Asia. Ha impartido cursos de música hispánica antigua en Francia, Italia, Suiza y Alemania. Forma parte del jurado en numerosos concursos de órgano. Ha grabado para la radio y para casas discográficas en los órganos históricos de Torredembarra, Montblanc, Cadaqués, Vielha y Sa Pobla (Mallorca). Hay que destacar su CD grabado en los órganos de Montblanc y de Sa Pobla para la colección “Organos históricos de España”, editado por Auvidis-Valois (1992), que obtuvo el “Grand Prix du Disque”. I was also part of a couple of video shoots with Bill Gaither's Homecoming Series which are still seen on television to this day. My back-up vocalist experience had just started to pick up when I followed my heart and relocated to Long Island, New York. Music continued to be something that I was a part of while working with a couple of church choirs and a short stint in the wedding band industry. I was even a part of a dinner theater group for a short while. Here we are in 2020 and WOW!!! A lot of lives have been changed with the Covid-19 pandemic. Reevaluation of what's important and how I want to spend the next chapter of my life has definitely been brought to the forefront of my thinking. During a forced quarantine, Mark Chadwick and I decided to record some love songs from the past as well as 2 original songs. The result, Love's The Only Way, released on October 30, 2020. |

Active musically since the 1980s, the first solo record by Jerry L was released in 1997: "Something Special" (E&J Records), followed by 2001's "Last Word In Lonesome", which ranked in Blues Critic Magazine's Top 100 Soul Blues/Southern Soul Albums 1980-2005 list. Jerry L next turned to the "modern Southern Soul" sounds of programmed "party blues" with his followup project "Nasty", which also gave him his hit "Do The Nasty". Following the obscure release “After Tha Party" (for Ryan Records), Minnis returned with "Daily Love" in 2006. In 2010, he signed with Lee Parker's Brimstone label for "Let It Ride". In 2013, he released "A Million Women" on CDS Records. |
