Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 7 | Peter Shambrook | Australian folk-pop singer Pete Shambrook failed to attract much attention in the United States, despite three impressive albums in the early 1990s. Almost nothing was ever written about him in the usual media, except a positive review of his album Love Unseen in CCM. Rick Elias produced his debut project, and Shambrook toured America as the opening act for Elias and headliner Margaret Becker. Love Unseen was produced by music veteran Paul Clark. It opens with what would become Shambrook's best-known song, a straighforward rock number called "I Believe in You." Love Unseen also includes a cover of Van Morrison's "Whenever God Shines His Light." Then Shambrook resurfaced with another album on the Maranatha! label at the end of the decade. By then, he was serving as college pastor of Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Newport Beach, California. Peter has also sung on a number of other Maranatha! projects, including those associated with Promise Keepers.

Search | Add | 7 | Maxwell Street Klezmer Band | The Maxwell Street marketplace was to Chicago what the Lower East Side was to New York. At the turn of the century, when the first major wave of Russian Jewish immigrants settled in America, Chicago's Maxwell Street became famous for its open-air Sunday marketplace crowded with Jewish pushcart-peddlers--an institution which has survived in the hands of fresh waves of immigration. The band was named in tribute to the spirit of Chicago's early immigrants. In 1983, Lori Lippitz founded the Maxwell Street Klezmer Band. In the years since, Maxwell Street has become the Midwest's most popular klezmer band, touring numerous times in Europe and performing throughout the U.S. including Carnegie Hall. Audiences of all backgrounds are delighted by Maxwell Street's high-energy performances that glow with warmth and humor. Our Performances have been staged across America and Europe. In 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2007 and 2009, the band performed concerts across Europe including in Germany, London, Munich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Enschede and The Hague. In 1998, the band gave their debut performance at Carnegie Hall and at New York's Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center. Maxwell Street has appeared on the PBS program "World Stage Chicago" in 1995, and was featured again on Public Television's "Artbeat Chicago" in March 1999. One of their songs was featured in an episode of ABC's "Saving Grace." Maxwell Street has been featured annually on Network Chicago's (PBS) "Do It Yourself Hanukkah" television special. Maxwell Street received the "Best Jewish Album" Award in 2004 in the Independent Music Just Plain Folks Awards. The band has recorded five CDs. Their 2008 release, "Eight Nights of Joy", features Hanukkah music with singer-songwriter Rabbi Joe Black. For more information about the band call or write: Lori Lippitz, 4025 Harvard Terrace, Skokie, IL 60076. Phone: 847-675-4800 Fax: 847-675-4880 E-mail: maxwellst@aol.com

After that she took singing lessons with Carlo Bino who schooled her voice according to the old-ltalian belcanto method, which he himself had been taught by Tito Schipa, and to which some other well-known singers owe their reputation as well. After that Viktoria became a professional singer and is equally at home singing Bach or Mozart as well as Gershwin or opera and oratorio. In Holland as well as abroad she has performed on the stage and on television and radio. |

Krispe got his start in the golden age of dance music back in 1993 and has been pushing UK drum and bass culture ever since. Throughout the 90's he became a regional favorite and found himself playing large raves and festivals throughout the region. His style of mixing and track selection is quick, upfront and to the point. In a world filled with fake pre-planned sets, sync buttons and gimmicks, this quick-handed veteran opts the purist route pushing uncut turntablism and double drops. |

Search | Add | 7 | Sirr D'Kay | Salar Peyhani | Sirr born January 06, 1987 in Tehran, Iran is a Danish record producer, rapper and film photographer. He is the founder and current CEO of [l=Kbh All Stars] and All Star Studio. Sirr started his music career at an early age of 13, writing & producing music in 2000, but wasn't active in the music business until 4 years later. Soon he teamed up with childhood friend [a4725991], and started a musical collaboration together. In 2003 they formed the hip hop group [a=Ripz], with friends from school/neighborhood and began writing and producing new experimental material. The group had 3 rappers and 2 singers, so they named their style/genre "Hip PoP", a mixture of 2 genres that represented their individual styles and roles in the group. In 2004 they released their debut album [r=7750732], recorded in only 2 weeks which included 10 new original songs and 9 remakes, remixes & skits from earlier demos. Performing was a big part of the group, so [a=Ripz] toured for a year, with singing/rapping and performed with multiple show-dancers. After the tour ended it, they decided to break up the group and end the collaboration. Sirr decided to retire as a rapper, and for the following 5 years he was only focused on producing, but in 2008, he started to manage & produce the artist Haider. He and the former [a=Ripz] member [a4725991] started writing again and produced Haider's 2nd debut single [r=6140251] together with [l744217], which had its release that same year. Meanwhile, the hit song [r=7751573] (testicles in Danish) was produced by Sirr and 3 friends from the music business, which formed the comedy-group "8Ball". The 4 members of the group (having 2 balls each), came up with the group name and produced the music video for the single, which had over a million hits on YouTube in just 2 months, without a label or any promotion. This was quite huge, considering that the population of Denmark only being 5 million people and music streaming on YouTube was still new in 2009, was pretty amazing. The group went on a club tour, performed together on stage as Ronnie Lennett the lead, David Bertelsen the rapper and Sirr as the DJ. After 8Ball's second single [r=7751699], Sirr left the group and began producing for multiple artists. Later, in 2011 he discovered the twin brothers "Mark & Tim". They formed the group [a4726108] together and began producing their first EP, which was released the following year, including a music video, that Sirr directed, produced and released through his record label [l=Kbh All Stars]. After the [a4726108] project ended, Sirr got more into the film industry and found his new passion: making music videos, through his new film company Seebra. |

Soon changing their name to Dream Dates, the Hammer City combo went into the studio later that same year to lay down a seven song set that would remain ...unreleased for the next twenty-one years. Drawing on the rawest early rockabilly, snarling '60s garage punk and the furious sounds of more recent outfits like the Stooges and Dead Boys, Dream Dates backed three instant classic originals with four revved-up covers, then promptly forgot about the session as they proceeded to focus on their devastating live assault. While the band gigged well and often until their 1982 disintegration, they never did enter the studio again

Search | Add | 6 | TheReal D.TeL | Dante Dupuy | Born May 30th 1988 in Seattle, Washington at Swedish Hospital to Sondra and Gary Dupuy. Dante Dupuy aka TheReal D.TeL (TRD) being the baby of 2 older brothers, Gary and Donell. All brothers went to a catholic school in Tacoma, WA, Holy Rosary. TRD, being the only one to move to a public school in the middle of 3rd grade. His family stayed up to date with the latest music, sports and played sports for their schools. Taking after their footsteps, he followed suit and developed a love for music and sports, up until high school when an interest in music became greater. In school, he would make music in the same room the school news was reported which encouraged him to take it to the next level. Beginning only with a stage microphone taped to the wall in his closet, a bedsheet as soundproofing, equipped with a music program he never used before, TRD started his music career. Soundclick was the first site he uploaded his music to with great reception and criticism. Further perfecting his craft, he started to dabble with beat production. Having no one else to mix and master his songs, he taught himself that as well. With the passing of his grandmother in 2004, him and his family moved to Northern California, where he collaborated with other rap artists and producers. As TRD continued to get better, he won local unsigned radio awards. As time moved on, he upgraded his home studio and skills to sound like a professional studio. Making all party music, a positive song or a song about God every now and then without knowing much about Him other than what he was taught in catholic school, that's when he started to reflect on his life and music catalog. TRD began working on new material, but as he finished a number of songs, he felt like most of his new music had no positive impact, he knew something had to change. He didn't know what it was until 2015. TRD made a life-changing decision which started the transition to Christian music, releasing his 1st Christian single in 2019 and never looked back. |
