Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | La Rana Toro | Spanish punk rock band, La Rana Toro began its musical career in 1997. Influenced in its beginnings by the punk rock and melodic hardcore bands of the western coast, they have evolved in successive recordings towards a more elaborate sound, full of textures and nuances with multiple influences, difficult to be established in a concrete style or scene. This has led them to share stage with bands of various styles and provenances such as Bad Religion, Dog Eat Dog and Vetusta Morla to name a few. Since their foundation they have published four works and are currently presenting "Minúsculo Infinito" (2015) their last studio work. Recorded between El Sotano studios and the studio of Gonzalo, guitar and main composer of the band. "Minúsculo Infinito" houses generally slower and ethereal compositions bathed in reverb and delay, giving much importance to the dynamics of each theme without leaving aside in some moments the rockiness that has characterized them in the past. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Too Much For The White Man | Irish Reggae band from Tuam in County Galway who formed in 1985 and disbanded in the early 90s. The idea of the group came together when band members were living in London. While in the UK capital, the band started playing with Jamaican musicans. This gave rise to their interest in reggae. Leo Moran only remained with the group for a short time as he left in 1986 to form [a=The Saw Doctors]. They returned to Tuam in 1987. They derived their name from a rough translation of a Spanish phrase. Band member, John Brogan, had just returned home from the Canary Islands where the heat there was described as being 'Too Much For The Whiteman'. Put Your Mind At Ease reached Number 28 in Ireland on the 13th of October 1988 where it stayed for one week. They also contributed the track 'Try A Little Harder' to the soundtrack of 'The Courier', a film featuring Gabriel Byrne and Patrick Bergin. Too Much For The Whiteman split in the early 90s. However, they reformed on the 22nd of August 2015 to perform live at the SugarBeat Festival in Tuam Stadium. On the 29th of April 2017 they played live again at The Brogue Bar, Tuam in honour of their late bass player [a=Dermot Holian] aka Der who had lost his battle with cancer on the 18th of July 2015. The proceeds of that gig went towards Galway Hospice. Line up: Martin 'Mouse' McHugh - Vocals Mike Ivory - Guitar Axel Grude - Keyboards Dermot Holian - Bass Gerry McHugh - Percussion Alan Flynn - Drums Danny Kelly - Trombone John Brogan - Drums | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Big Yellow Taxi.dk | Big Yellow Taxi started out in 2001 as a café duo based on the respect and love for Joni Mitchell's music. Their demos were heard on the internet, and they were invited to play in the U.S. at a so-called Joni Fest fan gathering. Their first tribute CD, " A Tribute to Joni Mitchell", was recorded with the duo still being unaware of Joni’s unreleased song material. The latter was, however, presented to them, when they performed at the Joni Fest, which was held in Big Indian, near the town Woodstock, NY, ( famous for the festival to inspire Joni's Woodstock,) In 2002. After the show, a collector of her music approached them with scrap tapes of the young Joni, thus inspiring the duo to record two more tribute albums, " Unknown and Famous Songs of Joni Mitchell" and "Treasures of Joni Mitchell", to the Joni Mitchell fan community's grand appraisal. On the present album, “The Young Joni Mitchell DisCovered”, the duo once again shows respect for the originality of Joni Mitchell's music by demonstrating their loyalty to Joni’s guitar tuning and vocal style, something clearly separating them from the pack. It's a remixed and re-mastered compilation of the duo’s two last tribute albums featuring only material, which Joni never released herself. | |

Joshua Medina & Paurl Walsh explore the intersection between contemporary folk, drone, ambient, noise and electronic music. The duo is seemingly a paradox unto itself: Medina, a self taught finger-style guitarist and Walsh, a sound artist, synth guru, and classically trained composer; their compositions reflect a dichotomy in style as well as sound, gentle serenity often leads to jarring dystopia. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Fulc | FULC | FULC was an alternative/nu-metal/industrial rock band from Leeds, UK, formed in Scunthorpe, UK. Formed in November 2000 FULC demo "Void" (2001) landed the band offers of recording contracts from 3 independent labels. Instead the band signed to Stunted Records and Management who sent FULC on a 15 date tour in February/March 2002 to start building a fanbase. By July 2002 FULC were recording “The Fallen” EP at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall, following in the footsteps of Muse, Oasis, Supergrass etc. Released on September 9th 2002 on Stunted Records, FULC embarked on a 35 date promotional tour from July to Sept. 2002, and a further 20 date tour from Oct. to Dec. 2002. The EP received excellent reviews, the most impact being a live review in Kerrang and a full page Kerrang “Rising” feature in 26th Oct. 02 issue. Never ones to stand still FULC returned to Sawmills in Jan 03 to record their debut album “Biting Insomnia” . The album was released on June 23rd 2003 on Stunted Records, with a 50 date promotional tour set up to coincide with the release. With a KKKK review in Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Powerplay magazines etc all passed comment on the quality of FULC’s songwriting. FULC hit the road again in winter 2003 for a further 20 date promotional tour, their most successful yet. Featured on BBC Radio 1 One Music FULC were no.1 in the “Lock Up” chart for 6 months and playlisted on Radio One in July 2003. FULC were personally selected by Mary Anne Hobbs to perform at a Radio One Rock Show event in Leeds in June 2003. Mike Davies ( R1 DJ ) described FULC song “Nest” as :- “Fantastic, Fulc have got subtlety down to a fine art,”Nest” rocks in all the right places without thrusting itself in your face. This is both melodic and bowel shakingly heavy and will have rock fans creaming themselves to catch them perform live “ FULC supported Vendetta Red, Span, Agnostic Front, Skindred, Fony, Vacant Stare, Spear of Destiny, Kinesis, Martin Grech and others. Tours were sponsored by Jagermeister alongside The Darkness, Violent Delight and This Girl. FULC headlined the second stage at the 2003 Bloodstock Festival in Derby, alongside Saxon and Paradise Lost on the main stage. Two further 15 date UK tours took place in 2004. Recording their final album at The Chapel in South Thoresby in Oct 2004, this was followed by tours of Germany and the UK in 2005 to promote their second album "Embrace.Destroy" which received much critical acclaim in the UK and Germany. Shortly after the release of Embrace.Destroy in May 2005 personal circumstances led to a hiatus which the band never recovered from. Lineup: Duane Walker - lead vocals, guitar Rik Clay - lead guitar, backing vocals Kris Kilmore - bass Mark Cooke - drums |

| Search | Add | 4 | SixFoxWhiskey | Brad Moreno - Guitar / Vocals / Keys Tyler Davis - Drums / Vocals Thomas Yannopoulos - Bass / Vocals Dan Felix - Saxophone / Vocals Chris Ballerini - Guitar / Vocals ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “We’ll play for free, we’ll play if no one’s listening, we just want to play,” says SixFoxWhiskey’s drummer, Tyler Davis. Thankfully for SixFoxWhiskey, people are listening, and it is their unique intersection of jazz, jam, funk, and rock that has propelled them into becoming one of the fastest growing bands in New England. SixFoxWhiskey has held featured spots at major festivals like Levitate Music & Arts Festival, Rhode Island Music & Arts Festival, and Strangecreek, and they’ve performed at venues like the Stone Pony, Toad’s Place, and Brighton Music Hall. They’ve shared the stage with national touring acts like Ripe, The Magic Beans, Kitchen Dwellers, Kung Fu, and The Elovaters. Zach Bloomstein of 37’ Productions aptly describes what makes the band stand out: “I’ve worked with a lot of bands and seen a lot of music, and these guys are doing something a little different. They’re being themselves, which is part of what makes them unique and special.” In the end, it’s feel-good music, think-hard music, get-down music, and their latest album, Naughty Air, is the manifestation of these sensations. Their third album in four years recorded with award-winning producers Sean McLaughlin (Matchbox 20, Percy Hill, Tony Savarino) and Zach Bloomstein (Chris Robinson, Joe Perry, Chuck McDermott)at renowned Massachusetts-based 37’ Productions, Naughty Air opens with “Betty,” a funky song that highlights the band’s strong melodic writing, driven largely by the seemingly effortless vocals of Chris Ballerini. Naughty Air weaves through different vibes, ranging from jam-odysseys that highlight the virtuosity of Dan Felix on saxophone and Brad Moreno on lead guitar in “Common Ground” and “Oh Ya!” to punchy rock jams like “Crossroads” that feature super-tight rhythmic structures from Tyler Davis on drums and Tommy Yannopoulos on bass. The album is reminiscent of Steely Dan, Vulfpeck, The Dave Matthews Band, and Dopapod. Naughty Air provides a wide range of musicality and SixFoxWhiskey is excited to bring it across the US as they tour from Maine to Colorado in 2020. “Oh ya!”- it’s going to be a fun year. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Nicholas J. Michalak | I, Nicholas J. Michalak, created RavensFilm Productions in Spring, 2004 as a serious statement that filmmaking would be my life's passion. What began as a focus on comedic shorts eventually veered toward more dramatic and noir style narratives born from my evolving fandom of the work of Chicago born filmmaker Michael Mann. Thief was the first, but it was Collateral that solidified my deadset interest in the crime genre. Hitmen, criminals, syndicates, lawmen, private detectives, and vigilantes have all become common subject matter since then. Other influences upon my work include John Carpenter, Ridley Scott, Christopher Nolan, Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Clive Barker, Russell Mulcahy, and Kevin Smith, just to name a few. These influences have driven my creativity far, but the desire is always there to branch out into other genres. RavensFilm Productions is aided by an array of highly talented actors and filmmakers across Chicagoland. My closest and most trusted collaborator is Cinematographer, Videographer, and SteadiCam Operator Eric Woltman of Voltage Visual Studios and Steadi Zephyr. His expertise, technical knowledge, and artistic eye have benefitted my endeavors greatly, and the favor has been returned many times. Beyond a great collaborator, he is a valued friend, and that is the relationship I like to spark with everyone I work with. RavensFilm Productions also has a long standing and ever expanding collaboration with Chicago heavy metal band HEMI. Numerous music videos have been produced for the band by me, I have designed their entire official web site, shoot nearly all of their live shows since April of 2011, and in 2012, I recorded, produced, edited, and mixed their first live album, The Chosen Ones: Live in the Fire, along with designing all of the interior artwork for the CD release. The friendship with the band has officially made me the fifth member of the band. As of 2011, RavensFilm Productions is a registered Service Mark in the State of Illinois. That only further legitimizes RavensFilm Productions in my eyes, and the expansion to offering a variety of video production and web design services aimed at the burgeoning artist has broken the possibilites wide open for what RavensFilm Productions can grow into becoming. The future is starting to develop more and more with the release of Dead Of Night on Special Edition DVD, the impending completion of The Fixer on the horizon, and several promising scripts in development. The year of 2013 brought high definition finally into the grasp of RavensFilm Productions, and several new YouTube video series were launched including Forever Cinematic video movie reviews and the Leftover Junk series where I feature abandoned, alternate, or unreleased footage from my projects that need a little context. The future holds many exciting opportunities and possibilites for everything I hope to do with RavensFilm Productions. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Miss Lalithangi, Madras | Madras Lalithangi | Born in 1910, Madras Lalithangi was adopted by Perumalkoil Narayanamma, a devadasi who resided in the Chengam Bazar area in George Town, Madras. As was customary in a family dedicated to the arts, the child was given music lessons from a variety of gurus such as Coimbatore Thayi, Padam Pattabhiramayya, Fiddle Subba Rao and the redoubtable Veena Dhanammal. By the time she was in her teens she had become a vocalist of repute. In the early twenties many women singers lived in the George Town area and one of them was Tiruvarur Rajayi. Kootanur Ayyaswami Iyer, a man who was known for his large repertoire of the works of Tyagaraja, but who could not make a mark as a vocalist came to teach Rajayi. Ayyar and Lalithangi met in the house of Rajayi. He began teaching Lalithangi too and soon they were drawn to each other and tied the knot in the mid-1920s. Vasanthakumari was born in 1928 to this couple. There was an impromptu music performance by the great vocalist Maharajapuram Viswanatha Iyer during the cradle ceremony of the child. Young Vasanthi was taught music at home, even as she was sent to the Good Shepherd's Convent for formal education. This was short-lived. Lalithangi's frequent asthmatic attacks curtailed her concert opportunities and consequently her income. Her husband took to giving music lessons to children of affluent families. |
