Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 4 | Paul Macmannus | French blues and boogie singer and bass player.

Their 1983 self-titled album was the 3rd release for the ITI label. Musician and journalist [a342667] gave the album a 4 star rating. Any idea of a follow up album by the trio never came to be due to the label and artists going in different directions. Drummer Sherman Ferguson died on 22 January 2006. | Search | Add | 4 | Διονύσιος Βισβάρδης | Greek composer, born in Zakynthos (Oct 1910) and died in Athens (Mar 1999) Composer, pianist, clarinetist, music teacher and conductor, Dionysios Visvardis initially studied clarinet and music theory at the Municipal Philharmonic of Zakynthos. Later he studied advanced theory, piano and clarinet at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. His rich didactic and compositional work with songs, symphonies, works for various instruments, choral works, works for piano and encores, reflects his commitment to folk song and the Greek spirit. Devino Fortunato was an Oakland-area rapper who burst onto the scene with 2002's Cognac Loungin' for the upstart Bay Area label Real Smooth. It was the latter that informed the content of his debut, an independent album that nevertheless boasted high-quality West Coast-style production and Fortunato's own boast-filled flow, which at times suggested the unadorned honesty of 2Pac. After his spectacular debut, Fortunato appeared at numerous Real Smooth events with labelmates Xeno and Tazz.

| Search | Add | 4 | Ophir Ilzetzki | Ophir Ilzetzki | Ophir Ilzetzki (*1978) is a classically trained composer of experimental music living in Tel Aviv, Israel. He holds a doctorate in music from the Southampton University, where he studied under Michael Finnissy, as well as an MMus from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and a BA from the Koninklijk Conservatorium – both in composition. Ilzetzki's music explores various forces through instrumental, electronic, computer, performance, task and conceptual scores, where his works often research the intersection between through-composed and improvised pieces. Ilzetzki’s ongoing compositional goal is to strip forms to their bare essentials whilst still maintaining their identity. In recent years Ilzetzki has been applying games to musical structures, as well as focusing on alternative avenues for scoring music - an activity often leading to the meeting of music with dramaturgy. Ophir’s music is regularly performed in Israel and abroad, and has been featured in numerous international festivals, such as: Tectonics, MATA, Norwich and Norfolk Festival, ACL Asian Music Festival, ISCM World Music Days, City of London Festival, Israel Festival, and more. His works have been published by: Open Source, Stenton Press, Classwar Karaoke, Surrism Phonoethics, False IND, Babelscores, Oryan & Ressling. |

| Search | Add | 4 | Clifford Harper | Illustrator from London. Clifford Harper was born in 1949 in a working class neighbourhood of west London. After a desultory education, expelled from school at 14, with a two year probation sentence, he began a series of low paid jobs. As a teenager he was drawn to the ideals of anarchism and a growing involvement in the ferment of the 1960s led him in 1968 to ‘turn on, tune in and drop out’. Having first joined a commune deep in the Cumberland border country, in 1969 he was one of the founders of the famous Eel Pie Island commune, once described as “on the edge of anarchy”. In the 1970s he became further involved in anarchist activity and began to work as an illustrator, mainly for the radical movement, and this led gradually to ore mainstream work. Since the 1980s his work has appeared regularly in all the major newspapers in Britain and has become one of The Guardian's most popular illustrators. Heavily influenced by comic books, Eric Gill and the narrative woodcuts of Frans Masereel, Harper’s style evolved in the 1980s into a bolder, more expressionist direction, with much of his later artwork resembling wood or lino cuts, although in fact he still mainly works in pen and ink. Harper has long-term health issues and suffered a heart attack in 2006. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Peel MD | "Swedish duo PEEL MD was formed in 2008 after Tomrum finally managed to persuade A. Stantz that they should jam together. The core of their sound is driving drums, 303's (there's something particular about them), noise-free midi, lots of fx and a dub approach to the often cheap mixer desk. Since their 2012 debut "Grip EP" on Börft Records (which blew the ears off the Swedish underground with its 120bpm dirty and wobbly psychotic acid techno) the releases have kept coming. The foundations of their music lie back in the early 90's; they both grew up on the countryside outside the town Örebro, both were dreamers and were pretty much alone to be into house and techno, plus they both had older brothers that where into synth music. This shared background led to a friendship that later evolved into PEEL MD. They quickly discovered they worked good together and while Tomrum was an awkwardly-obsessive sound junkie, A. Stantz had a feel for how to mould their acid explorations into something danceable with a beginning, middle and an end. They also discovered they both had a slight hearing impairment but luckily in different ears, so together they would still be able to hear in stereo. Sometimes the sum of two takes it all to another level, and PEEL MD, one of Sweden’s best kept underground secrets, is a great example of this!" | Search | Add | 4 | Big Yellow Taxi.dk | Big Yellow Taxi started out in 2001 as a café duo based on the respect and love for Joni Mitchell's music. Their demos were heard on the internet, and they were invited to play in the U.S. at a so-called Joni Fest fan gathering. Their first tribute CD, " A Tribute to Joni Mitchell", was recorded with the duo still being unaware of Joni’s unreleased song material. The latter was, however, presented to them, when they performed at the Joni Fest, which was held in Big Indian, near the town Woodstock, NY, ( famous for the festival to inspire Joni's Woodstock,) In 2002. After the show, a collector of her music approached them with scrap tapes of the young Joni, thus inspiring the duo to record two more tribute albums, " Unknown and Famous Songs of Joni Mitchell" and "Treasures of Joni Mitchell", to the Joni Mitchell fan community's grand appraisal. On the present album, “The Young Joni Mitchell DisCovered”, the duo once again shows respect for the originality of Joni Mitchell's music by demonstrating their loyalty to Joni’s guitar tuning and vocal style, something clearly separating them from the pack. It's a remixed and re-mastered compilation of the duo’s two last tribute albums featuring only material, which Joni never released herself. | |

| Search | Add | 4 | Sealsia | Sealsia | In 1973, Daniel Pons, Guy Chanut and Yves Jourdanet, three friends from high school in Arles, founded the group Sealsia, acoustic and vocal trio, mainly taking songs from Neil Young and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.(Daniel Pons: acoustic guitar and vocals, Guy Chanut: acoustic guitar and vocals, Yves Jourdanet: 12 string guitar and vocals). In 1975, Daniel Pons leaves the band, replaced by Patrick Schmitt on bass guitar.Sealsia becomes a semi-acoustic band, with hovering sounds interpreting his own compositions (Sealsia is an imaginary and magical kingdom populated by elves, fairies and gnomes, in which take place the tales written by three friends). In 1983, Sealsia merged with another arlesian band: Nef, and became Wladimir Sealsianeff (Richard Lorenzi: electric guitar, Vincent Tronc Chérézy: keyboards, Daniel Florès: drums, Guy Chanut and Yves Jourdanet). In 1989, the formation became acoustic again, sometimes as a trio, sometimes as a quartet, with the return of Daniel Pons, and an additional voice. In 2014, after 40 years on stage, Yves Jourdanet and Guy Chanut perform as a duo, revisiting the sixties with a fully acoustic energy, two voices and two guitars that cross the 'Woodstock Generation' from Dylan to Led Zeppelin, passing by the Stones, Beatles, Kinks, Neil Young, Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens and many others. Yves Jourdanet is also singer, guitarist from the tribute bands Harvest (tributing Neil Young) and Sticky Fingers (tributing Rolling Stones). |

While a full collaborator in its creation, the press saw her as the junior player, an influencer, contributing tasty bits here and there and one lead vocal, the sensual “I’d Rather Be Filming in Vanda’s Room.” Green Monkey Records said Viva! More! We now have more. The album is produced by Mr. Kelly and while some of his uniquely best work, make no mistake: this is Susanne’s album. | Search | Add | 4 | Thaddeus X | Thaddeus X, a Dominican DJ and music producer, has spent over ten years deeply connected to the culture of the Dominican Republic, where he has honed his distinctive sound. His music combines elements from different times and genres, merging modern electronic rhythms with echoes of the past. Influenced by the European club scene of the early 2000s, his sets are charged with the raw energy of House and Techno, yet he reaches beyond to include touches of New Wave, EBM, and the soulful grooves of Leftfield disco. What sets him apart are the subtle hints of post-punk and psychedelia, which create unexpected moments on the dance floor. Unconstrained by a single genre, Thaddeus X's records span house, techno, trance, and more. His true passion lies in experimentation. Through his side projects, Velvet Surf and The Selenite, he ventures into the fringes of mainstream club culture, investigating sounds that are often overlooked but remain compelling. His releases on labels such as Minds Alike, Mouse Music Black, Deeplomatic Recordings, and Aletheia Recordings reflect his ongoing journey—a quest for the next surprise, the next connection, and those unanticipated moments that make music come alive. In his work, there is a relentless pursuit of something deeper—a desire to bridge the familiar with the unknown, creating experiences that resonate beyond the usual confines of the club. Thaddeus X is not just producing tracks; he is crafting narratives without words, inviting listeners to join him on a path that is as much about feeling as it is about sound. His journey is one of exploration, both personal and artistic, drawing in those who are moved by the unique mix of influences he brings to his music.
