Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | D. Lorean | 30 April 1984. The birth of D. Lorean. A humanoid child was found amongst the embers of classic Motown, the spirit of the electro-pop era and the prospect of the fall of the Iron Curtain. Their first message beamed to the future was the single Hardwired, a dark, sleazy missive of italo-disco-infused pop, formed with their kindred musical spirit Damocles. D. Lorean went on to perform with soul goddess Jocelyn Brown and UK synth heroes Hurts, and followed in the latter's footsteps by picking up regular international airplay in the Benelux and Eastern Europe before making it in their home territory. D. Lorean will be crash landing at the I Venti D'Azzurro Italo Disco party in Milan, Italy on 7 May 2016.

Search | Add | 4 | ex machina project | ex machina | ex machina (also sometimes referred to as "ex machina project") is a music project that was founded by Claudio Chiriatti in 1999. right from the start Claudio used the possibilities of alternative distribution ways of his output over the internet. the first two albums were distributed exclusively over the internet. after a two year hiatus on new releases he signed a contract with the label FUEGO to release the music under that label. after Claudio moved back to his roots from Düsseldorf to his birth town Clausthal-Zellerfeld in 2008, he realized that working in the studio alone is boring and began to look around for some new collaborators for ex machina. during his search he found his old friend Tobias Schwerdt who has coincidentally just moved back from Berlin to Clausthal and who has played drums in several bands and projects in Berlin. after some trial sessions in the machina they both realized very soon that this is a fertile and exciting partnership. ex machina is completely independent. even though the label releases and distributes the music, the overall responsibility for every artistic decision, the artwork and the presentation are the responsibility of Claudio and Tobias. the music of ex machina is electronica based, with more alternative rock elements introduced since its album "no one". the genres of ex machina are: darkwave, alternative, electronica, synthpop. Members of ex machina are: Claudio Chiriatti Tobias Schwerdt |

Meie eesmärgid on Baltimaade pärimusmuusika tutvustamine ja sarnaduste uurimine Kirde-Euroopa rahvaste traditsioonides. Meie repertuaar on õpitud vanematelt, muusikaraamatutest, teiste ansamblite helisalvestustest ning videolõikudest. Seaded on tihti originaalsed. HEDGEHOGS Since 2000, our instrumental folk music group has performed at ethnic organizations’ meetings, festivals, schools, camps, libraries, churches, etc. in Indiana and several other states of the USA, even as far away as Florida. Our goals are to spread awareness of the folk music heritage of the Baltic lands and to explore similarities between the traditions of Northeast European nationalities. Our repertoire includes tunes learned from our elders, music books, other ensembles’ audio recordings and video clips. The arrangements are often original.

Search | Add | 4 | Shades Of Blue Jazz Ensemble | The Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble is a group of 18 professional enlisted musicians whose repertoire ranges from traditional big band jazz, to bebop and swing, to modern jazz. At one of their concerts, you are just as likely to hear the music of contemporary composers as you would the classic sounds of Count Basie or Glenn Miller. Several of the band's members are also gifted composers and arrangers, and their compositions are often featured in concert. The band has backed many jazz greats such as Tex Benecke, Denis DiBlasio, Jamey Aebersold, Mike Smith, Bobby Shew, Allen Vizzutti, Jeff Jarvis, Mike Vax, Vaughn Nark, Bill Porter, Carmen Bradford, Shelley Berg, Joe Morello, Steve Houghton, and Walt Levinsky. Furthermore, the ensemble is often requested for featured performances at jazz clinics and festivals throughout the country. Occasionally, the Shades of Blue marches onto home plate to perform national anthems for Chicago White Sox Major League Baseball games, or onto center court to perform for Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks National Basketball Association games. They also pay frequent tribute to the Air Force's musical heritage, and have collaborated with actor Wilford Brimley on a highly acclaimed salute to Major Glenn Miller. Whether performing for a head of state, before a capacity crowd in northern Wisconsin, or for our troops at home and abroad, the Shades of Blue reflects the heritage and pride of our great nation and the United States Air Force.

The first original line-up was composed by: Winny Quintanilla, Juan Carlos Inzunza, Sergio Avila, Jaime Coppel, Juancho Benitez and Guillermo Hernández. This line-up later recorded the cassette titled "Historias de la Ciudad" in Guadalajara, Jalisco. After promoting the aforementioned title, they made presentations nationwide where they were required to record their second material in Mexico City, which never went on sale for the reasons of the first label. In 1995 they move to Los Angeles, California. In that city, they are discovered by the Argentine producer Horacio Lanzi and his company "Hola Rock and Pop", who produces the material entitled "Hechos Raros" from which the singles "Toque de Queda" and "El Sinaloense" are released, That material was recorded in the "Hot Tin Roof" studios in North Hollywood in 1996. Two videos were filmed and the material was finally distributed by the record company Fonovisa. During the recording they had invited people such as: Banda El Recodo, Victimas del Dr. Cerebro, Diego Di Pietri and Rick Deliz. During his brief career, Hechos Raros alternated with bands such as: ATERCIOPELADOS, FOBIA, MALDITA VENCINDAD, LA LEY, LA LUPITA, VÍCTIMAS DEL DOCTOR CEREBRO, TIJUANA NO, RABANES, ENANITOS VERDES, PASTILLA, among others. They appeared in cities such as: CHICAGO, MIAMI, TUCSON, SAN FRANCISCO, SAN JOSE, SALINAS, AUSTIN, LOS ANGELES, SAN DIEGO, TIJUANA, ENSENADA, GUADALAJARA. ETC.

In addition to the novelty of the guitar having two necks and inlaid fredboard featuring "DEE" on the top neck and "CORBY" on the bottom neck), the top neck featured 14 strings (with three strings for the D- and G-string courses). The unusual guitar was made at cost, in exchange for the publicity of Dee playing the unusual guitar in public. The guitar was left in the care of a friend in the 1970's, only to be lost to Dee for many years (along with the frined), until the guitar showed up on an eBay auction to be purchased by artist [a=Deke Dickerson] around 2008.
