Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | Fractional Importance | Fractional Importance is a nu metal band from Los Angeles, California formed in 1998, consisting of Doug Gledhill (lead vocals and guitar), Nate Perry (bass and backing vocals) and Kevin Fessler (drums). Their sound has been described as ranging from alternative metal and post-hardcore to modern rock. Although the band never enjoyed mainstream success, they were one of the few independent rock bands to emerge from the saturated late 1990s Hollywood club scene who, through largely self-funded touring and relentless promotion, were able to amass a sizable fan base and influence younger L.A. based band bands coming up on the same scene. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Uncle Julius | Ross Gordon / Emil Gorski | “Uncle Julius” was an over-the-air character created by Madison, WI, radio announcer “Ross Gordon,” which in turn was the professional name of one Emil Gorski. While spinning “Old Time” records on radio WKOW, Ross began speaking in German dialect as “Uncle Julius,” ultimately leading to the creation of a band led by the fictitious character. Emil (Ross’s birth name) was the youngest of over half a dozen children born to Antonia Kolakowski and her husband Joseph W. Gorski in the northern Wisconsin town of Three Rivers. Emil spent World War II as an instructor at Camp Hood (now Fort Cavazos), TX, which opened in 1942 as a new “Tank Destroyer Tactical and Firing Center.” After the war, Emil got into radio announcing, working at WSPA, Spartanburg, SC; WWL, New Orleans, LA; and WTAD, Quincy, IL. Over the air he was Ross Gordon, a professional name he ultimately adopted legally. The Uncle Julius Band was actively performing by the fall of 1950, with regular engagements during 1951, and recordings for Capitol Records and Milwaukee’s Tell Records. He became a real estate agent, all the while maintaining his radio show, and using the Uncle Julius picture in his realty ads. He opened his own real estate office, and in 1961 ran unsuccessfully for mayor of Madison. | Search | Add | 5 | Nelson Arion | The Nelson Arion Male Voice Choir is an integral part of the musical landscape of East Lancashire. The choir was formed in 1887. Although Joe Ingham was the first of many famous names to have the honour of conducting the Arion Choir, it was not until he handed the baton to Isaac Thompson in 1890 that the choir ventured into the competitive arena. In was in 1910 that Lawson Berry (pictured on right) took the Arion to compete at Caergwile (Wales) where they took first prize and Bardic Chair. This was the first time a Chair was ever brought out of Wales.Over many, many years the unique sound from the Arion Choir has been widely recognised by people like Sir Thomas Armstrong, who for many years was a most respected adjudicator of Choral Music. It could be said that the choir hit one of its peaks during and after the 1980’s. The choir won many Festivals and Competitions, which included the Llangollen International Eisteddfod (a record 5 times), the BBC Radio Wales Choir of the Year Competition, The Elgar Trophy and many more. The choir has also appeared at the Royal Albert Hall and the Festival Hall in London. They have also visited Germany, Vancouver, Budapest and Ireland and have made very recent appearances (and continue to do so in 2012) at the prestigious Bridgewater Hall – Manchester. | |

Their brand new album, P.E.A.C.E is a limited edition vinyl release (February 2019) via Janine’s own label, London Field Recordings. Rainforth spearheaded the reformation of Maximum Joy in 2015 with a show at Simple Things Bristol, and from that grew MXMJoY – and now with a new line-up and all new material, MXMJoY have crafted an album that remains faithful to their roots but showcases an expanded experimental direction into dark electronics and expertly used samples and effects. |

| Search | Add | 5 | Hans Peter Neergård | Hans Peter Neergård (born 1957) grew up in Vatne, a small village on the west coast of Norway. His parents were very active in music, and they were always singing and playing in the house. Hans Peter started playing the piano as soon as he was tall enough to reach the keys, and made his own small melodies from an early age. He often tried to recreate the music he heard on radio, but also received classical piano training. He learned the foundational piano technique these years, but never enjoyed playing by scores. It was more fun to play freely, to play what you heard, or learn the music by ear. Hans Peter also picked up the saxophone, first through the local marching band, but later at several jazz seminars at Molde, a small city known for its jazz festivals. He soon understood that reading scores was important even in jazz music, it helped the musicians communicate. One of the first songs Hans Peter put down on paper was from this period: «Kaktus» from ’78. Later Hans Peter Neergård composed more music and wrote more scores. His compositions are often related to jazz, both rhythmically and harmonically, but can also be traced back to Nordic folk music. He composed for piano, saxophone quartet and orchestras, and many of the songs were performed by local bands and musicians. Six of the songs on this LP were released in the score book «My rhythmic piano», self-released by Hans Peter in 1997. In addition to releasing written scores, Neergård often dreamt about putting some of his music on a record to allow more people to hear it. He’s had his music scores on the shelves for years, but in January 2022 he gathered the courage to record 12 of his own songs in the local studio on a Steinway grand piano. Hans Peter Neergård is the father of [a3317509] and [a9449920]. | |

The Joe Fedorchak Orchestra's original sound and style has become a trademark of Cleveland-Style orchestras in the Penn-Ohio area. Joe began studying accordion at the age of nine and was performing professionally with the Polka Serenaders and Musical Aces orchestras by the late 1940s.
