Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 7 | Bambi Redux | Bambi Redux is a producer, performer, and sound artist, born in Panama, 1982. Described as "An Apokalyptikum" by Zeit magazine, Bambi's music is a form of break-core (or "twerk-core") characterised by extreme tempo and dense, complex rhythms. Since her 2008 debut album "Release", Bambi has mainly disseminated her work via limited edition downloads, cassettes, and CDs, many of which are extremely rare, under the auspices of a fictitious organisation known as "The Redux Foundation", which also handles her PR and business affairs. The Redux Foundation provides a textual element to Bambi's work, which also incorporates film and burlesque performance. The Foundation's other function is to create and control facts about Bambi and her work, whilst envisaging strategies to render complete or accurate discographies an impossibility.

Search | Add | 7 | Rigo Maldonado | Rigoberto Maldonado | I was born and raised in the small town of Rupert, Idaho. I spent some time living in Austin, Salt Lake City, Seattle and Nashville before settling in New York. I have had some amazing musical experiences throughout my life which include performing on the stages of the Grand Ole Opry and Radio City Music Hall as well as performing to a crowd of 10,000 people in Indianapolis, Indiana. Through my involvement with the renowned Christ Church Choir in Nashville, I was able to record and perform with the likes of Carman, Charlie Daniels, Kim Boyce, Dolly Parton and many others. I was also part of a couple of video shoots with Bill Gaither's Homecoming Series which are still seen on television to this day. My back-up vocalist experience had just started to pick up when I followed my heart and relocated to Long Island, New York. Music continued to be something that I was a part of while working with a couple of church choirs and a short stint in the wedding band industry. I was even a part of a dinner theater group for a short while. Here we are in 2020 and WOW!!! A lot of lives have been changed with the Covid-19 pandemic. Reevaluation of what's important and how I want to spend the next chapter of my life has definitely been brought to the forefront of my thinking. During a forced quarantine, Mark Chadwick and I decided to record some love songs from the past as well as 2 original songs. The result, Love's The Only Way, released on October 30, 2020. |

Search | Add | 7 | Veneice Fungchung | Veneice Fung-Chung | A'mari was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica and migrated to the United States in her late teens. Currently A'mari has gain tremendous popularity and causing a buzz in the industry after composing and recording her EP entitled, Vacation". A'mari wrote her first song, “Ghetto Child” when she was 10 years old and recorded it at age 15 at Dynamics Sounds Recording Studio. At age 17, A'mari recorded “Needing You”, another suave R&B single that she also wrote. For many years, A'mari focused on radio broadcasting. After being hospitalized in 2013, A'mari made a pact with God to return back to her music career. A'mari composed and recorded multiple hit singles such as “Don’t Wanna Lose You”, “It’s Your World” and “Goddess” Somehow a year later, A'mari and her family met in a serious accident; everyone escaped death. A'mari refers to this occurrence as “an intervention by God and a continuing journey towards total rebirth". A'mari then envisioned her purpose in life-to entertain and uplift her fans through her lyrics and music. She released “Rising Star”, "Adonai", "Epistles of Love" and more hit renditions. During a brief stay in Florida, A'mari spent time among friends in the reggae/dancehall and created hip-hop renditions on dancehall beats including "Hush"," Million Bucks", "Jungle Fever", "Wet n Wild" and "Cheater Girls". In early 2015, A'mari became the first artist to be recognized by dancehall music lovers as versatile and original. A'mari is always inspired by others; she wrote Kompa music, "I Like" after meeting people of different cultures. "Love has no barriers!" A'mari relates. Currently A'mari is promoting her "Vacation" album throughout the world. "Vacation" EP is a unique blend of lovers rock reggae music blended with a soft touch of R&B. Music lovers describes it as authentic, pulsating and enticing. The artist spent time in Jamaica and felt overwhelm by the demands of relatives, friends; she escaped into the realms of music and created "Set My Heart Free" single. While in the studio A'mari feels secure-she bonds with her musician and created "Vacation" single. After spending a night away in Ocho Rios, A'mari recorded "Magic Touch" and "Touch". The honeymoon was short-lived. However shortly after, she surrendered her soul to music and her fans in final rendition entitled, "Reach". A'mari continues to compose songs based on experience. She is also an advocate for children raped and molested and uses every opportunities to educate the public of this stigma and how to prevent children from being sexually abused. A'mari is pre-destined for great things. She looks forward to going on tour in the near future. A'mari's suave persona and intrinsic qualities has earned her love and admiration universally. Despite her revealing her most deepest and darkest secrets in her songs, there is something still quite mystical about A'mari's renditions. A'mari is not just another singer; she is an emblem of love. |

Search | Add | 7 | Olivier Schreuder | Olivier Schreuder | Composer, performer, DJ, label CEO Olivier Schreuder composes & produces electronic and acoustic music. His work ranges from experimental electroacoustic compositions and improvisations, orchestral works, and generative modular synthesizer ecosystems to turntablism and dub-infused electronic music. As a performer he often uses a mix of turntables, digital and analog (modular) synthesis techniques and signal processing. Furthermore he performs with custom made electroacoustic instruments, to explore new textures and expressive possibilities. He is especially interested in how traditional cultures and new technologies meet, and often works together with musicians from these cultures to make new music together. Under his alias Lucid Voyages he composes electroacoustic ecosystems with his modular synthesizer, field recordings and DSP. In these ecosystems he explores the fluidity of sound: the extent to which a sound can morph between different physical characteristics. In his organized chaotic systems he improvises with generative elements, feedback and interaction between acoustic and electronic sounds. Travelling in Southeast Asia and studying the musics, cultures and languages of Vietnam, Thailand, Laos & Cambodia has a strong influence on his work. Olivier Schreuder studied Music technology at the HKU (University of the Arts Utrecht) in the Netherlands where he graduated with a MA with honors in 2013. His graduation project was nominated for the HKU Award 2013 as most innovative and enterprising sound design project, and got selected for the Hot 100 as one of the most talented graduates of 2013 in e-culture. During his time at the HKU he studied composition with Rob Zuidam, Jorrit Tamminga, Marcel Wierckx, David Dramm, Ned McGowan and Katerina Pejoska. He studied traditional Vietnamese music & Đàn Bầu with Lê Uyển in Saigon, folkmusic from Northeast Thailand & the kaen with Pongsapon Upani in Khon Kaen, and the traditional music of the animistic Tampuen tribe with Ven Cherk of the Yeak Lom Arts Group in Ratanakiri, Cambodia. In the Netherlands he is a regular guest-player in the gamelan ensembles Wiludyeng & Manyar Sewu. As a lecturer he has been teaching composition at the HKU, and Southeast Asian music at Codarts (Rotterdam University of the Arts) & the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. His compositions have been performed on the Gaudeamus Muziekweek (Utrecht, NL), ICMC, TodaysArt Festival (The Hague, NL), the Đương Đại Contemporary Music Festival (Saigon, Vietnam), Lasalle University of the Arts & School of the Arts in Singapore, the Isan Creative Festival in Khon Kaen and the Jai Thep Festival in Chiang Mai (Thailand) amongst others. Together with Yme de Jong he started the game audio company SoundBoySound in 2016, specializing in music & sound design for games and interactive art. As DJ Phaze he has played in many clubs and festivals in and around the Netherlands. His mixtape-series Present Revival of Futuristic Classics featured local rap heroes like Def P & Oscar X. With MC Oscar X and producer Werner Urban he made an EP called Hollands Licht and performed live around the Netherlands with a classic DJ-MC live show. Starting out as a turntablist and organizer with firm roots in hip hop culture, he also organized many events in and around the Netherlands like the legendary Hiphopcafe 4 Elementz in Amsterdam, and a tribute to John Coltrane for the Kindred Spirits record label. As a composer, sound designer and performer he is part of several (live) music projects. Currently these include The Magic Number, a live film soundtrack project with composer Robin Koek & DJ Jeroen van Aalst, Kow Mai with Thai classical musician Angkanang Pimwankum, and a gamelan and electronics project with Dutch musician Michiel Niemantsverdriet. In 2015 his studies in Thailand lead to the recording of new compositions for highly talented molam local traditional folk musicians. Under the name of Apichat Pakwan they start a live act in which they blend Lao folk music, dub, electronics & hiphop, and tour in Southeast Asia & Europe, with highlights playing shows at the Amsterdam Roots Festival, Fusion Festival (Germany), World Experience Festival (Romania), Na Fir Bolg Festival (Belgium), Thailand Grand Festival in The Hague (NL), Isan Creative Festival in Khon Kaen, the Jim Thompson's Molam Bus Stage at the Jai Thep Festival in Chiang Mai (Thailand). Love for vinyl, infectious grooves from around the world and turntablism-culture lay the foundation for his own record label Animist Records he started in 2016. The first release is a 10" vinyl record of Apichat Pakwan called Angkanang. In 2017 and 2018 three more records of Apichat Pakwan are released, and a breakthrough in Thailand comes with more successful shows and a much viewed feature on Thai national television. Apichat Pakwan's debut album Esantronics is released in October 2019 to critical international acclaim. |

Search | Add | 7 | Gamma Men | Steve Gardner, Tom Gallego, Jim Grind, Don Simmons, Darrin Berlin, Dave Elizondo, Gary Meyer | The Gamma Men started in the spring of 1991. The band was more or less founded by Steve Gardner, who is probably best known as the editor of the fanzine Noise For Heroes, a magazine that ran from the early 80s until 1992 and covered punk, garage and power pop bands from around the world. Steve had previously played drums in the band Feeding Frenzy, which included a couple friends he worked with and his ex-wife on bass. Feeding Frenzy played a lot of punk rock standards as well as a whole batch of covers of late 80s Australian and European bands, and a fair number of their own songs. The band split up when Steve and his wife got divorced. After that, he tried out for a few bands but quickly decided that if he was going to be in a band that he was really going to like, he had better try to organize it himself rather than join something already going. more at URL |

Lois sang in the choir at Beecher high school. “Mom and I sang with the radio when I was five years old,” “My parents took me to a country lounge in Chicago Heights Lake-N-Park Inn with the Windy City band and convinced the band leader I should sing with them.” The place was Joe’s lounge on East End avenue and the band leader was Bill Madewell. She sang every Friday and Saturday and earned $25 a night, learning. Jimmy Skinner, one of the many special guest artists, helped her to cut her first record on the Log Cabin label, a subsidiary of Jewel Records, when she was 16. Other records followed, on Jewel Records (main Rusty York's label), on Wesco Records (a label owned by ex-rockabilly singer Bobby Sisco) and on Ovation Records with which she charted one time on the Billboard Country chart, and this is it, reaching #96 in 1979. In February 2000, during a show, they meet Shiva Shidapu (aka Jörg Kessler) from Shiva Space Technology -one of the most respected Record company at that time-. Jörg was impressed from the Analogue Dream sound and signed one of the tunes called “Euphemistic Visions” for his Album/ Compilation “The Call of Shiva”. In 2000 another signing follows on the label Nephilim Records with the track “Tribal Dance & Go On” where Massimo used live recorded percussions and some Voice samples of his 2 Years old son. 2002 and 2003 was very successful years with a schedule full packed of show’s but in this time the most of the Psy- and Progressive-Trance Record companies in Germany and Europe closed they doors so the follow ups albums of Massimo Santucci - Al Dente, Prototyp - Phantom or the first Analogue Dream album has never been released. Search | Add | 7 | DE3IVAT | DE3IVAT is one more brainchild of multmedia artists Mirco Dalos & Christoffer Grunau. After putting T3AFO to rest with a huge mass of audio samples, fragments, visuals and ideas flying around, there was hardly a thought of finishing. It's merely in the art of stopping and starting again that gave birth to DE3IVAT. Joy, fun and the idea of »let's see what happens« had to be the defined watchwords for bringing something to the table again. As multi-media location-based art involves many many people, budgets, negotiations and, yes, also frustrations at time, DE3IVAT is home-made, ever-fresh, like a child-play. So we assess all available data from the T3AFO archive, take our field recorders & cameras for walks and rides again, liberate us from constraining thoughts and produce material that is as light as it is satisfying. Take a noise here, perform a beat there, find a voice that might not be listened to and mould it into NOI_ES POP. DE3IVAT's first major operation is a six-EP-series, starting August 31st, 2018. The objective is to release a product all three months ending Xmas 2019 with an extra special product that still needs to define itself. So now it's up to you to enjoy: Play our music loud or not at all. To hell with any bullshit!

Damon Edge claimed in one interview that there was no such person and that they threw the name into credits (for things like "White Noise") as a joke to make it appear there was another person in the group at times. As Oliver Dicicco says, "They played pretty fast and loose with the John Cyborg persona. It was me when we were doing the records, but it could have been anybody." |

However, it was not until the age of twelve that he began to learn the electronic organ as his chosen instrument. At the age of sixteen, Kevin began to take an interest in the sound of the mighty theatre organ and it was a natural musical progression that he should begin to study this type of instrument, for which he developed a different playing style to that of his electronic organ performances. It was not long after this that Kevin began performing concerts throughout the country, featuring both electronic and theatre organs.
