Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 7 | Marcus Whitted | Marcus Whitted | Marcus Whitted began discovering and experimenting with electronic music when listening to Sony Playstation game soundtracks. Marcus’ first inspirations were from bands like, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, and The Crystal Method, for Marcus they started it all. At age 13 Marcus started getting curious with instruments and keyboards. With his eye set on the Yamaha DJX keyboard, he dreamed of owning it and making music. Though he never got his keyboard, his dream never faded. Several years later Marcus was introduced to computer based music production. Marcus soon found himself fascinated with the ability to combine and layer sounds to create a whole new sound. Though surrounded by hip hop producers Marcus’ passion for electronic music remained. After gaining some confidence from the ridicule of his hip hop peers, Marcus dedicated himself to making “songs”. This then called him to learn the structure of music. After attending a music theory course, Marcus gained the knowledge he sought. In turn, the music theory course also introduced him to scales, chords, and other musical elements. Soon after, Marcus began hitting a creative wall. For the next 2 years Marcus continued to create music and soul search and by the end of this period Marcus needed a change of scenery. He then moved to Florida to attend college for professional recording and music business. Here Marcus expanded his knowledge of music, recording, and even DJing. This college experience was a game changer, from this point forward Marcus was more musically open and began creating on a new level and has not stopped since. Future steps for Marcus include pressing forward and making music a full time career. Marcus’ level of passion has not faded since his first song. He looks forward to learning more about the music business and perfecting his music, while collaborating with other artists and filling out a very passion filled, creative life. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Inna Sense | Jimi Dred (lead vocals, keyboards), Prince Patrick (lead vocals, DJ), Icardo Richards (bass and vocals), Junior Richards (drums and vocals), Stevie Marco (Guitar). In 1987, using Philadelphia as a base, the band developed a nationwide following touring from California to New York with plenty of stops in between with occasional trips back home to Miami. By the mid 90's, they had established themselves as the hottest act in Philadelphia and broke the international scene with tours to Jamaica and Europe. Their recording "Always Something There To Remind Me" hit #5 on the Hawaiian charts and was soon followed by "Let Your Love Flow", "No Matter What Your Color", and "Book Of Rules" from their 1998 self-titled release. Although they continued to tour, the majority of their time was spent at home where they rocked SOBE crowds 5 nights a week on Ocean Drive at Mango's Tropical Cafe in Miami, Florida. Their third album "4:20 Rough" was released in 2000. In 2007 they released their fourth album titled "Anthology", which included the hit song "Top Of The Line". Through the rigors of touring, Inna Sense has not missed a beat since they started in 1987. Since 2007 Inna Sense has decided to transform their music with a new sound called "Rasta Rock". Playing for crowds up and down the east coast, the new genre has been a huge success. https://ourstage.com/profile/innasense INNA SENSE: A BRIEF HISTORY - by Peter McEvilley (aka Swee'Pea) Formed in Aug. 1990 by John Paul Graham A.K.A. Man Called Scratch. Jamaican student in Gainesville Scratch, who had played with a few college reggae bands at UNF moved to Miami to search for better opportunities to play and promote Reggae music. There he formed Inna Sense, which consisted of Scratch, Prince Patrick (Jamaican), Peter Swee Pea McEvilley (Cincinnatian living in Miami), Jimi Dred (brought down by Scratch from Gainesville, originally from Ocala, FL) and Harold heavyweight Estime (Haitian). The band, with two weeks of rehearsal under their belts, left for Belize, Central America, for a month long tours. Belizean friends of Scratch who were well connected with the Belizean government arranged the tour. The tour was celebrating Belize's 10th year of independence. Plane tickets, transportation, and the government provided accommodations. The band played in nearly every out of the way little spot in Belize and was extremely well received. Many areas they played had not ever seen a live band from another country. Riots started to break out twice when Inna Sense stopped and the band was forced to play until near daylight to keep everyone happy. But, enjoying the beautiful country and feeling the effects of the local rum CANE JUICE (also one of the tours sponsors), the boys were happy to oblige. Excited by the tour and exhausted, the band returned to Miami where they almost immediately began playing at Tropic's which is now the All-Star Cafe. Friday night, Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday the band could be seen playing, always full of energy, enthusiasm, and always encouraging the audience to tune into the good vibe. In no time at all, Tropic's was packed to the brim with tourists and locals alike. It was a happening. Within a few months, Inna Sense was named the best Reggae band of Miami by the New Times. Now (1991) the band was working 8 shows a weeks from south beach to Ft. Lauderdale. They were building a great reputation and a large following. At this point Inna Sense started recording their first album United with legendary engineer/producer Karl Pitterson (Bob Marley, Steel Pulse). With new album in hand, the band decided to cash in their chips in Miami and hit the road. Using contacts they had met in Miami (mostly club owners from around the eastern US who, on vacation in Miami had said here is my card, call me if you guys ever want to play in....) The band began touring in up and down the East coast and Midwest. They built a nice following in cities like Cincinnati, Chicago, Grand Rapids Mich., Tampa, Washington DC and many others. During this period, because of exhaustion and minor differences, Man Called Scratch left to pursue a solo career. Immediately after their first tour, Inna Sense was offered a steady gig at a club they had played in Philly on tour. The club was KatManDu where they have played every summer since. After their first summer in Philly, the band decided to go west. They headed out to sunny Southern California. Here they met with local reggae promoter Roberto Angotti. Roberto was very instrumental in the careers of UB40 and Pato Banton. He had been out of the business for a while but decided to get back into it when he received Inna Sense's CD. He immediately took them under his wing (put them up in his house) and started booking them up and down the West coast. They played San Diego, L.A., Santa Barbara, San Jose and many others. At the end of the winter, the band headed back to Philly. Inna Sense has built a large following in Philadelphia where they eventually stayed for two and a half years (1995-1996). During this period, they spent much time learning the art of studio recording and worked on the initial ideas for there current self titled album. Also during this time, drummer Swee Pea, started his own record label, Swee Pea Records. The idea of the label being to give Inna Sense and other artists they had met on the road a home for their recorded music. Swee Pea records released Reggae Jam-1, a compilation of Inna Sense, Man Called Scratch, and friends. The album was not released in the mainland U.S although many copies were sold at shows. The album was, however, released in Hawaii where the label was able to set up a distribution deal. Coincidentally, the two songs on the album that received the most radio play were by Inna Sense and Man Called Scratch. Both acts have now released full-length albums in Hawaii where they are well known and are played on the largest stations (KCCN) in Hawaii. Inna Sense recently (October 1998) toured across the US mainland to California where they flew to Hawaii and played 5 shows on 3 different islands (Oahu, Hawaii, and Maui). Scratch was also on the shows, which was a nice addition and reminded the band of the early days at Tropic's on South Beach. The band was well received in Hawaii where they were special guest on the TV show Good Morning Honolulu (NBC affiliate) and did 7 different radio interviews. The album is selling well in Hawaii and will be released nationally on the mainland by Swee Pea Records (who are in the process of signing a distribution deal for the label) no later than this fall. Promoters in Hawaii are currently setting up shows for the band and Scratch for September of this year. Other highlights of the band¹s career include their trip to Europe where they played with Julian Lennon on a benefit for the Australian Rainforest. While there, they played for, met Prince Albert and Princess Stephanie, and stayed at Julian Lennon¹s house. Julian (or Jules as we like to call him) was a regular guest at all of their performances and was even seen late nights at a few afterhours clubs doing improvised acoustic sets with Peter Swee Pea McEvilley on the piano and Jimmy Dread backing him up on the vocals. Currently, the band resides in Miami where they are playing at Mango's and the Hungry Sailor and rapidly building a new following consisting of some fans from the old days and many new fans. They are planning lots of touring for the summer (including Hawaii) and are working on a new album. From https://web.archive.org/web/20000930041719/http://www.innasense.com/band_history.htm | |

As he grew up, Charles discovered at a very early age that his major gift lay in music. Such was boy's conspicuous talent that at primary school he was the youngest member of his school singing group. Together with his seniors' they toured many places entertaining audiences of all ages and classes. The vibrant Charles converted to Christianity in August 1988.Thus began an era which today has become a phenomenon of pronounced multitude. The man belongs to Who's Who of the country's top gospel artistes. If the fame come across the border, who would be surprised? Charles is not a fly by night musician who thrives on plucking common hymns from various denominations. A highly inspired composer in his own right, he possesses exceptional writing skills that are virtually unmatched. Previous works like 'Jehovah NdiMwari Wedu' (1995) and the album 'Tinashe Akatendeka' (1997) bear open testimony to the man's God-given prowess. A humble and lovable character, Charles Charamba is no doubt one gospel giant who is bound to grow on and go beyond the apex, smashing all known historical perceptions.Even the sky cannot be the limit Brother! Keep on fishing them out. Notes on Compilation Album 'Muzita RaJesu Vol. 1. |

| Search | Add | 7 | Aminus | The brainchild of a devotion to synth pop 80's, house and RnB, aMinus is the solo electro-pop project of Berlin-based Valentin Plessy, founding member of dance-clash ensemble Plateau Repas and drummer of Kool Thing. On his first album "Almost and Maybe" (Zingy Record), aMinus drew his inspiration from narratives centered around gender and chaotic relationships which characterize our everyday life. Singles such as "My Mind's Away" and "Billy" gained success in the underground Berlin scene and reached a bigger audience through the videos directed by Robin Plessy. His second album "Options" (Mad Dog & Love Records) is a reflection of expectations and uncertainties which follow one chaotic relationship. aMinus’ atmospheric & eloquent execution of these themes melodically is exposed in the debut single "Don’t Mind Me Now", featuring Magritte Jaco, singer of Plateau Repas and the second: « I can Try » featuring Kaey. | |

| Search | Add | 7 | Benjamin Skepper | Benjamin Skepper | Musician / Multi Media Artist / Composer / Producer Benjamin Skepper, is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist, an innovator fascinated by evolving technologies and our deepest corporeal connections to music. He combines classical aesthetics with contemporary art, science, technology, and the avant-garde. He’s no less fascinated by issues of identity, human rights and the many relationships between sound, medicine and healing. Celebrated for his ability to weave through musical boundaries and artistic expressions, Skepper has received international recognition for his comprehensive body of work. Starting his musical journey as a piano prodigy at age two, Skepper embraced numerous art forms from an early age, including ballet, singing, harpsichord, and further studies in the violoncello. From his first international tour at 10, Skepper’s passion for travel and cross-cultural exchange has landed him commissions from all over the world. His practice embraces experimental approaches to classical composition, sound design, and multi-artform practice. His passion and diverse skill-set allow him to find new connections between distinct disciplines. While pursuing a successful music career, Skepper also obtained an Arts/Law degree from the University of Melbourne. A dedicated human rights advocate and solicitor, he voluntarily supports NGOs, community arts organisations and charities, reaffirming his strong belief in the transformative power of art for social change, inclusion and healing. As both a cultural producer and director, Skepper founded contrapuntal, an art studio and creative enterprise. Through this vehicle, he delivers unique multi-artform installations, performances and exhibitions, collaborating with museums, luxury brands, government agencies, festivals, and more. Under the umbrella of contrapuntal, he has also launched his independent music label, which, to date, boasts six self-produced solo releases. Skepper is an innovative thinker, seeking to integrate scientific breakthroughs within his creative practice. He’s particularly interested in how music and sound influence human experiences, and has ventured into the world of genetics and neuroscience, particularly in the context of music and healing. His projects represent a unique cross-disciplinary approach to art, tech and science. Additionally, as an author, Benjamin communicates his vivid ideas on art, innovation, and sustainable futures, most recently through his book ‘Artist Thinking’. A compelling writer and performer, he is frequently featured across a range of media outlets, and embraces every opportunity to influence positive social transformation through his art. “Embodying classical aesthetic, music and culture, Benjamin Skepper is a musician with an extraordinary sense of the contemporary” (Rolling Stone Italy) (Resource: https://benjaminskepper.com/bio/) |

After a handful of at times chaotic local gigs (imagine a mix of early Germs and Flipper) the original group disbanded at the end of 1991. But in 1994 Black Nivea (Mk. II) came together around the key players of Screaming Joe, Big Rolf and Haax. They went on for another 10 years this time, rarely performing in public, but self-releasing the one or other record, all of which were - rightfully? - ignored by the public. In 1996 they released a great 7´´ as Pächter der Weisheit, original Black Nivea songs translated to German lyrics.

| Search | Add | 7 | Veneice Fungchung | Veneice Fung-Chung | A'mari was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica and migrated to the United States in her late teens. Currently A'mari has gain tremendous popularity and causing a buzz in the industry after composing and recording her EP entitled, Vacation". A'mari wrote her first song, “Ghetto Child” when she was 10 years old and recorded it at age 15 at Dynamics Sounds Recording Studio. At age 17, A'mari recorded “Needing You”, another suave R&B single that she also wrote. For many years, A'mari focused on radio broadcasting. After being hospitalized in 2013, A'mari made a pact with God to return back to her music career. A'mari composed and recorded multiple hit singles such as “Don’t Wanna Lose You”, “It’s Your World” and “Goddess” Somehow a year later, A'mari and her family met in a serious accident; everyone escaped death. A'mari refers to this occurrence as “an intervention by God and a continuing journey towards total rebirth". A'mari then envisioned her purpose in life-to entertain and uplift her fans through her lyrics and music. She released “Rising Star”, "Adonai", "Epistles of Love" and more hit renditions. During a brief stay in Florida, A'mari spent time among friends in the reggae/dancehall and created hip-hop renditions on dancehall beats including "Hush"," Million Bucks", "Jungle Fever", "Wet n Wild" and "Cheater Girls". In early 2015, A'mari became the first artist to be recognized by dancehall music lovers as versatile and original. A'mari is always inspired by others; she wrote Kompa music, "I Like" after meeting people of different cultures. "Love has no barriers!" A'mari relates. Currently A'mari is promoting her "Vacation" album throughout the world. "Vacation" EP is a unique blend of lovers rock reggae music blended with a soft touch of R&B. Music lovers describes it as authentic, pulsating and enticing. The artist spent time in Jamaica and felt overwhelm by the demands of relatives, friends; she escaped into the realms of music and created "Set My Heart Free" single. While in the studio A'mari feels secure-she bonds with her musician and created "Vacation" single. After spending a night away in Ocho Rios, A'mari recorded "Magic Touch" and "Touch". The honeymoon was short-lived. However shortly after, she surrendered her soul to music and her fans in final rendition entitled, "Reach". A'mari continues to compose songs based on experience. She is also an advocate for children raped and molested and uses every opportunities to educate the public of this stigma and how to prevent children from being sexually abused. A'mari is pre-destined for great things. She looks forward to going on tour in the near future. A'mari's suave persona and intrinsic qualities has earned her love and admiration universally. Despite her revealing her most deepest and darkest secrets in her songs, there is something still quite mystical about A'mari's renditions. A'mari is not just another singer; she is an emblem of love. |

[a1494780], [a1821045], [a387513], had all played together in the short lived [a2946670] and liked working together, and Tom met [a421996], a Londoner living in NYC. The Americans had become enamored with New Wave, as was Kelvyn who became singer/songwriter and guitarist. They found [a1962850], a classically trained bassist, and they started playing around town as BBC, getting some notice in NYC. They found that the name BBC was already in use, so changed the band to Electa Five. They acquired a manager, Jerry Tavin, who had successfully managed some European artists. Their strategy was to get a hit overseas, then launch in the US. They did manage the first part, with "The Thin Man on the Run", co-written by Kelvyn and Tom, on Master Records, a German label, charting and spawning an album and a tour in Europe but failed to crossover back in the US. They disbanded in 1982.

She was married to George Washington Lee, Jr., also originally from Savannah, who was living in Buffalo, New York by 1951. By 1956 she was still living in Buffalo, New York, now married to Wilbert Washington. (During her life there may have been one or two other marriages.) This seems to be how her professional name became Nancy Lee Washington. It's not entirely clear whether (or when) she moved to the NYC area to write songs and record them. She then headed to California. The Buffalo Criterion newspaper 26 May 1962 had a photo of Nancy Lee Washington and her mother Mrs. Mamie Garrett (nee Green). Nancy is described as Foreman at Pre-Production era Packard Bell Corp., Los Angeles. Her mother (from Buffalo, NY, driving a Cadillac) and brother (driving a Buick) drove to Kansas City, Missouri, to give Nancy a birthday present, the keys to a 1957 Buick; Nancy flew to K.C. to meet them. The last line of the photo caption said that Nancy is also a song stylist. Nancy died in Buffalo 2 October 2012. Could be the same person as [a=Nancy Lee (12)] |

Originally from Lansing, MI but currently based in Charlotte, NC he is one of the only people in the world touring his trade. His primarily instrumental style is characterized by open harmonies, polyphonic textures, incredible tapping technique, and is as entertaining to watch as it is to listen to. Live performances burst with energy and magnetism not typical of solo guitar music. Drawing influence from folk, Celtic, indie, and even punk rock artists as well as other great guitarists such as Michael Hedges, Tommy Emmanuel and Leo Kottke, Mark Kroos has developed his own edge to the acoustic guitar.

| Search | Add | 7 | Clay Djubal | The great-great-great nephew of Australian vaudeville entrepreneur Harry Clay (1865-1925), Clay Djubal was born Rodney Clay in Griffith, New South Wales. His family later lived in Sydney before moving to Armidale in 1972 where his father lectured in art at the Armidale Teachers' College. While at Armidale High School Rodney played drums in several student bands, notably Blue Max (1976). In 1978 and 1979 Djubal was a member of the Armidale hippy punk bands Health Club and Vice Squad. After moving to Sydney he co-founded the short-lived psychedelic punk band The Astros before enlisting for a brief period in the Army. He later returned to Armidale where he co-founded [a16265650] (1982) and [a16133832] (1982-1984). It was in 1983 that he changed his name. A return to Sydney saw him establish the bands [a16183033] (1985), and Shoot the DJ II (1985-1986). Apart from Health Club (in which he was lead singer only) he carried out the roles of bassist, lead singer, keyboardist, principal songwriter, and stage designer. In 1984 Djubal and his wife, [a16183039], re-booted Some Tripping Diggers as a creative collective, inviting musician friends to explore and gain expertise in writing and recording (after the couple separated in 1988, the collective continued under his initiative until the late-1990s). Djubal spent most of 1990 in Mackay, Queensland playing in a trio called Three Blind Mice before moving to Brisbane where he soon afterwards enrolled at The University of Queensland. After completing a B.A. (Hons) in Drama and English, he undertook an MA (1998) and a Ph D (2005), both in Drama. At UQ he also wrote the music for several student theatre productions, and had his musical, "The Last Word," produced at the Cement Box Theatre in 1998. Clay Djubal retired from performing on in the early-2000s in favour of pursuing an academic/research career. He lectured in popular music studies at the UQ School of Music, developing and convening two new courses 'Beyond Rock: Music in the Digital Age,' and 'The Musical: History, Theory and Practice.' He has also lectured in Entertainment Business Management for the JMC Academy (Brisbane), and for ten years was a senior researcher with AustLit: The Resource for Australian Literature (specialising in theatre, film, radio, television and speculative fiction). His academic publications in the area of early-Australian popular music theatre have been published both in Australia and internationally. Clay Djubal's business S.T.D. Music, Hire and Promotion (1983-1998) was re-established in 2009 as [l4118517], a digital and off-line publisher and music label. Its digital publications are the [l4118520] (2009-) and the Australian Variety Theatre Archive (2011-). HGWT occasionally releases music from artists and bands linked to the New South Wales Northern Tablelands during the Australian pub rock era. [Sources: 'Clay Djubal.'
