Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | The Dream Dates | Coming out of the same extraordinarily fertile '70s Hamilton scene that brought us Teenage Head, Simply Saucer and the Forgotten Rebels, the band started out as Bored Youth, and made their 1979 live debut opening for Toronto's notorious Viletones. Soon changing their name to Dream Dates, the Hammer City combo went into the studio later that same year to lay down a seven song set that would remain ...unreleased for the next twenty-one years. Drawing on the rawest early rockabilly, snarling '60s garage punk and the furious sounds of more recent outfits like the Stooges and Dead Boys, Dream Dates backed three instant classic originals with four revved-up covers, then promptly forgot about the session as they proceeded to focus on their devastating live assault. While the band gigged well and often until their 1982 disintegration, they never did enter the studio again | |

His name is given on many releases as ‘Priem-Bengrath’, but the more idiomatic-looking ‘Priem-Bergrath’ gets more results on Google… His musical training took place at the Conservatory Gregoriushaus in Aachen. His violin teacher was Max Pfeiffer. Hans Priem-Bergrath studied under Artur Rother, Herbert Ahlendorf, and Wilhelm Pitz, and later worked with Sir John Barbirolli, Franco Ferrara, and Herbert von Karajan. At 20 he was in 1945, the first violinist of the Municipal Orchestra in Aachen. In 1948 he was engaged as concertmaster at the Municipal Theatre in Rheydt. From 1950 to 1980 he was deputy principal violist with the [a260744] (Berlin Philharmonic). In the meantime, he made his debut as a conductor in 1967. He conducted recordings and performances with the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Orquesta Sinfonica Venezuela and the Mexican Orquesta Filarmónica de la UNAM. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Monochromystic | When astronauts were launched to the moon in the 1960s, they found a “magnificent desolation” and a unique sense of solitude that can only come from being a quarter of a million miles away from the rest of humankind. Compared to the scale of their mission, the resources they were able to bring were relatively minimal and highly focused. Monochromystic finds inspiration in that expansive solitude and focused limitation, producing each spare, ambient work with a single monosynth and a handful of knobby effects in a single take. | |

Ideologicznie świadomie i celowo zespół wspiera akcje antyrasistowskie, wolnościowe i ekologiczne. Wokalistów Qulturki można usłyszeć m.in. na najnowszej płycie zespołu STRACHY NA LACHY I cant get no gratisfaction. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | A-Tack | A-Tack is the first Hip-Hop group to come out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It consisted of DJ, emcee, and producer DJ Peechy (later shorted to Peech), DJ Special K, and emcee T.A. Wiz. They released a couple of singles, each getting 200-300 pressings. They recorded a handful songs and performed local shows in the mid-late 80's. They are credited as pioneers who opened the doors for other artists and groups in Milwaukee, such as Kidd Crab, DJ Blade, MIDI, 20/20 Boys, Kali Tribe, Strick Luv, Female DSC, all of them having collaborated with DJ Peechy. T.A. Wiz, a highly respected and influential emcee, was later senselessly murdered in cold blood. Peech traveled to Atlanta, changed his stage name to Speech, and started the multi-platinum, Grammy award winning Hip-Hop collective, Arrested Development, who still actively record and tour to this day. He also has a successful solo career, wrote the book "What Is Success?", and starred in the film 16 Bars. Special K joined Speech and served as Arrested Development's production manager and DJ, and produced some of their songs in the 90's. Special K now goes by DJ Kemit and is a successful producer and touring DJ. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Ndongo Lo | Ndongo Lô, had difficulties entering the music scene. One day, during a concert of Papa Ndiaye Guéwel, he went to the podium and started to sing. He was contacted later to sing one song on Papa Ndiaye Guéwel's next album. At that time, he was poor and ill-dressed, but as soon as he started to sing, everybody was quiet. Although his father Mbagnick Niang refused that he engages in music, he couldn't be stopped. In 2000, he recorded his first album « Ndoortel », only released in Senegal as a cassette. The success was immediate, and Ndongo Lo toured in Gambia and did some concerts in Europe. Ndongo Lo also toured and performed live here in America as well. He performed here in Ohio for example in Cincinnati in the early and mid 2000’s. He was also featured on the albums 411 by Gokh-Bi System and the 2002 album Allez, Allez !!! by Gloire Des Stars. His 2003 album « Tarkhiss » was also released on CD and he became well known in Europe as well as in the United States. In December 2004 he released a third album « Aduna » (Life). Already very ill, he sang about the way he looked at life and about thanking friends and religious leaders (Ndongo Lo was a follower [talibé] of Mouride leader Serigne Fallou Mbacké). Because of that, Ndongo was called Mou Serigne Fallou Niang. The album was recorded with the band he had created, Le groupe Jamm. The band continues to perform and promised to publish yet unreleased songs written by Ndongo Lo. On Friday, 14 January 2005, Ndongo Lo performed for the last time. On stage in a night club in Dakar, he felt ill and vomited on stage. He was brought into hospital. On Sunday, he asked his mother-in-law for a soup, his favourite meal. He ate the soup in company of his wife and his manager, and shortly after that he died in his wife's arms. Ndongo Lo had become very popular among the people of Pikine, a poor Dakar suburb. this was because of his free speech and the fact that a young singer of a poor family and from a poor neighbourhood could rise from misery and become famous, yet never forgetting his friends and fellow Pikine people. When he died, thousands of people in Pikine came in the streets refusing to believe that the rumour was true. Unfortunately, it was true... 200,000 people were present during the funeral ceremony in the holy town of Touba. | |

| Search | Add | 6 | Exit Safe Mode | Margus Löve | Margus Löve has been a well known name to darktronica scientists over the years. The solo artist’s starting point after the change of millennium became the technoid end of drum&bass with the bubbling bass waves of speed garage and Löve’s style became substantially directed by dubstep that gained ground at the start of the 2000s. The name L-OW successfully propagated the bass-loving vibe at the prime time of dubstep, and in the background the dub-techno-esque parallel project 1DERL& got more and more off the ground. Founding of the label Processed in 2012 and the release of 1DERL&’s debut album became a spiritual turning point – the allure of the sounds of dubstep shifted to the background and darker soundscapes found a new home in cooler techno trances. Margus Löve has moved still deeper in the swamp of sounds with his new project Exit Safe Mode that is striving to cut through the safety nets and broaden the palette of sounds. The sounds are complemented by darker ambiences and rhythmic skeletons, while staying essentially loyal to the pulsating force of techno. It’s time to discover the shady territories beyond the untrodden tracks. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Mahavishnu Huntington Majors | I'm an American guitarist who's lived for some years in Britain. My sound is retro in some ways, contemporary in others. I'm very much into the rock and heavy metal guitar sound of the late '60s, '70s, '80s and early '90s. My aim is to take the musical idiom and translate it into 21st century rock. My definitions of rock and metal are somewhat different than what's currently popular. I enjoy listening to it but playing it's not my bag. If nobody else agrees with me, that's okay. I'm into my music for its own sake and I've never been a "dedicated follower of fashion." Most of the tunes I've done are instrumentals but I'm working on songs with lyrics as well. I perform and record all of it, using various guitars, pedals and analog and digital recording hardware and software. I like being a solo act in some ways, but oherwise I'm interested in hooking up with other like-minded musicians and vocalists to jam, record and perform. | |
