Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 6 | J.K. Coltrain | J. K. Coltrain was born in Columbus, Ohio. He spent his early childhood days between there and West Virginia where his parents operated a small Mom & Pop grocery store. His Dad also was an excellent auto mechanic and in fact owned a number of repair shops over the years and was a weekend stock car racer. That's one reason why J. K. is a Nascar fanatic to this day:) J.K. grew up surrounded by music & musicians. His cousin, Buddy Starcher was a professional recording artist on Columbia Records and was a regular performer on the then popular Midwestern & Louisiana Hayrides. He also introduced the late Keith Whitley who first appeared on Buddys weekly radio show in Charleston, West Virginia when he was 8 years old. J. K. made his own first appearance on radio at age 12 and first TV appearance at age 14. His Uncle & Grandpa performed together at churches throughout the South. That's where J. K. made his first appearance singing in church at the ripe old age of 11. His first professional job was at age 14 when he began singing with The Pleasant Hill Quartet. A well-known gospel group at the time. Of course in his teens he had to try his hand in high school dance bands like Fire n' Ice and The Four Aces but by age 20 he had returned to his first love country music. At that time J. K. helped form a 7 piece country rock group called 'The Southern Express'. They garnered a great deal of regional success and opened for many popular groups at that time such as Pure Prairie League, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Poco & The Marshall Tucker Band. In 1983 he left The Southern Express to pursue a solo career as his heart was with more traditional country music. He appeared to be taking the music business by storm as he was often the featured artist on Ernest Tubbs Midnite Jamboree and many popular Nashville nightclubs and was dubbed The Star of Tomorrow by Country Music News. He first cracked the country music charts in 1987 with a self-penned song, West Virginia You're Still My Home on the Studio 7 label. Since then he had enjoyed a number of chart successes including being shown in the Top 40 in Europe for 41 straight weeks. He also has made many appearances on radio & TV including The Nashville Showcase, The Midnight Jamboree, Nashville On Stage, The Jerry Lewis Telethon & Stars of Tomorrow Show. J. K. has toured worldwide and worked with some of the greatest names in country music including Jerry Reed, Loretta Lynn, The Bellamy Brothers, Conway Twitty, Buck Owens, George Jones, Tammy Wynette & Jerry Lee Lewis to name just a few. In addition to still recording and performing on his own J.K. is now helping the new up & coming young artists serving as the President of Colt Records Nashville as well as Nashville Radio Promotions, Chairman of The Traditional Country Opry and hosting The Country Star Showcases. He was recently awarded The Texas CMA Entertainer and Best Country Album of The Year awards. J. K. Coltrain is a member of: Traditional Country Hall of Fame Country Music Association Academy of Country Music Country Legends Association Americana Music Association | |

Prior to that, he was a four-time Emmy Award-winning television news anchor and reporter, having spent most of his career in Miami and Orlando. He also owned and operated his own TV and radio stations in North Carolina. Steve has hosted the [l153566] World Championships for 42 years on PBS, ESPN2, and on movie screens across the country. In 2013 he was inducted into the [l153566]l Hall of Fame. Steve is active in volunteer work. He is president of the French Lick West Baden Museum, a weekly kindergarten reading buddy at Springs Valley Elementary School, and a staff member with the Springs Valley High School marching band. Rondinaro's drum corps career started like many others who have entered DCI's Hall of Fame, as a marching corps member. A young 10-year-old in upstate New York, Rondinaro joined and marched with the [a8858188] through 1975. He also co-managed the corps that year as they narrowly missed the finals competition with a 13th-place finish in the 1975 World Championships in Philadelphia. Rondinaro would help lead the Squires through 1979. Forging a successful career as a news reporter and anchor outside of drum corps, Rondinaro got his start with DCI's television broadcasts when asked by Hall of Fame Member Don Whitely to host a local PBS telecast of the 1976 DCI East competition in Allentown, PA. A similar opportunity was offered in 1977 for the DCI Canada event in Hamilton, Ontario, and by 1979 he got his opportunity in front of the camera at the World Championships, sitting alongside jazz trumpet legend [a38207] as co-host. Over many years Rondinaro has had the opportunity to work with a diverse array of broadcast hosts from actress [a856107] to sports broadcasting legend [a1093496], using his unique experiences and talents as a drum corps "insider" to educate his television partners even if they have little or no familiarity with the drum corps activity. As Rondinaro's broadcasting career took him to Miami in the early 1980s, he wouldn't lose sight of managing a corps. There he helped reorganize the Florida Vanguard into a new corps, [a7695405], a group that went on to win DCI's A-Class Championship title in 1984.

| Search | Add | 6 | Asenath Noir | Alberto Viel | Italian minimal dark ambient project, started in 2006 and run by A.V., based in Piedmont. Inspired in his first phase by local legends, linked to nature, he later turned towards a more modern approach, turning his attention to modern society and the disease it represents. With an aesthetic of urban decadence, monotony and repetitiveness, he tries to recreate, through dark environmental sounds, the urban decadence of the hive cities, drawing panoramas of imposed solitude, alienation, and anguish of the failure. The feelings that fill the heart of modern man today. A.S is a faded color photo of a street crowded with cars after a storm, the desire to go home and the anguish of finding it empty. |

In July, Bon Bon and the trio waxed ten tunes. Four of them ("I Drove You Into Some Else's Arms", "Do You Know How It Feels To Be Lonesome", "Building A Dream", and "I Just Had To See You Dear") were issued as Bon Bon and the Red Caps Trio. The other six ("Playin' The Field", "Riffin' With The Riff-Raff", "Must We Say Goodbye?", "Heaven Happens Tonight", "Too Bad", and "It Was So Nice Knowing You") were released as Bon Bon and the Park Avenue Trio. In August 1945, Bon Bon and the Red Caps Trio recorded "My Dreams Are Getting Me Nowhere" and "You'd Better Stop Playing With Fire". This time, the Red Caps Trio consisted of Steve Gibson, Romaine Brown, and bassist Israel Crosby (who had been with Fletcher Henderson's orchestra and had briefly been a member of the 3 Sharps And A Flat). November 1945 saw two records by the "Magnolia Five" (all four songs, led by Romaine Brown, had been recorded in September: "It Hurts Me, But I Like It", "Don't Come Cryin' To Me", "If You Can't Get Five, Take Two", and "Ouch!"). This was actually the Red Caps Trio (Steve Gibson, Romaine Brown, and Israel Crosby), augmented by musicians Walter "Foots" Thomas and Reginald Merrill (both sax and clarinet players). At that same session, they did the last Bon Bon and the Red Caps Trio recordings: "I Admit" and "Two Can Play That Game".

Four male singers, accompanied by electric guitars, percussion and accordion, they were one of the first "Beatle-esque" groups from Canada. The accordion has a special place and preserves a traditional flavour in dance pieces such as waltzes, tangos, rhumbas, fox-trots, hopaks and other Ukrainian dances. The more contemporary pieces in the Anglo-American style are dominated by guitars and percussion. The tonality of the voices is anglicized, yet the harmony remains traditional and the tempos, dynamic and rapid. Finally, the rhythmic effects are emphasized by accentuated off-beat rhythms. The group released 5 albums. Andrij Harasymowycz - Vocals, Guitar Ewhen Osidacz - Accordion George Sztyk - Bass Stepan Andrusiak - Drums |

| Search | Add | 6 | Amor A Traición | Spanish pop-rock group from San Sebastian (1983-1997), until 1994 they didn't released their first LP. First line-up: Rafael Berrio (vocals, composer), José Manuel Puerto (guitar), Enrique “Endika” Cámara (bass) and José López (drums). Their first gig was in December 31th of 1983, becoming the opening act for Spear Of Destiny concert. They even performed on a couple of occasions at the Ekaitz Pub in Lequeitio, Vizcaya. They would record in the Tsunami studios a total of six cuts waiting to be laminated, 'November', 'Bad winks',' Betrayal love ',' Hero of the Baltic ',' Candy usually says' and 'Through the night ', but his opportunity to press his first album was, for the moment, in borage waters. Already in the second half of the eighties, the group disappeared into the shadow zone. For long years, they secluded themselves in the rehearsal rooms, acting sporadically, until, again, for Shanti Records they recorded in 1991, their first LP at the Du Manoir studios (Landes, France) but unfortunately, the album would remain unpublished because of the subsequent bankruptcy of the record label. Second failed record attempt. After a time, they created, with the collaboration of the writer Iñaki Berrio (Rafael's brother), a new repertoire that interested the multinational Warner, which finally produced in early 1994 at Estudios IZ from Amasa (Guipúzcoa), what It would be his first LP, known as "black disc". It had an excellent critical reception, although not so good promotion, which had a negative impact on its sales ratio. In 1996, José Manuel Puerto (guitar) and José López (drums) left the band and José Luis “Cheli” Lanzagorta joined the keyboards (Orquesta Mondragón, Puskarra, La Buena Vida), Paúl Zubillaga (guitar) and Iñaki de Lucas on drums (La Buena Vida and producer of Estudio De Lucas). As a result of false expectations, they soon manage to disassociate themselves from the multinational company, which allowed them to prepare in 1997 and in the recently inaugurated Estudio De Lucas (San Sebastián), their second and last work, a new limited edition Lp titled "Una canción de mala muerte". They had the executive production of Diego Vasallo. In the promotional part they had to face a self-managed tour with some critical and public success. Soon after, the group would eventually dissolve. | |

She debuted in 1999 and sold her first album over 300,000 copies and her second album over 300,000 copies. After she debuted in Korea, she regularly had more than 1,000 live performances per year, and radio and TV shows appearances. She released 6 studio albums (Korean), 2 studio albums (Japanese), and 2 single albums, and recorded multiple movie and television soundtracks. Marty Friedman, the guitarist of Megadeath, also featured her second Japanese album. Besides her recordings, she was casted as Yitzhak, the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Acid Queen, and the musical The Who's Tommy in both Korea and Japan for many years. She is the first and only Asian Berklee student who was selected to perform for both "Singer's Night" and "Singer's Showcase" in front of over a thousand audiences at Berklee Performance Center for multiple times. In 2012, she appeared a Korean TV show, I Am a Singer 2, where selected veteran Korean singers by advisory panels perform and compete each other. This sensational concept raised the Korean music scene to a higher level, and let the audiences truly focus on authenticity and quality of the music and the vocalist. Chinese broadcasting company adapted this show, which made a huge success in China. Seomoon Tak survived for five months and she made the final round of the entire season of the show. As she released her second single in summer 2013, she started a project band, Seomoon Tak Band. This January, Seomoon Tak Band successfully had their solo concert in South Korea. |

| Search | Add | 6 | Earth-Wheel-Sky-Band | Earth-Wheel-Sky Band | After almost 40 years on stage, legendary figure of musical scene in Novi Sad, Olah Vince is stepping big step forward, with his band. Basic instrumentation, guitar, violin, cymbalom, doublebass, percussions, voice, no electronic gadgets or keyboards, simple, but pleasurable indeed. Even "India" is involved. Or the old song from Southern Serbia, re-arranged, but with maestro Boban Markovic on trumpet. Expression is everything, they know how to slow down or lift you up. While Vince had his own bands for ages or collaborated with many local musicians (currently he is a member of Boris Kovac's LaDaABa Orchest), some of his band members performed with Lajko Felix and some also with their own bands. Region of Serbia where they are living, called Vojvodina is part of Panonia, where influences are so mixed, and them, being Gypsies can make something creative out of that. Olah Vince, the Gypsy activist, is not satisfied to live one life, he is helping others, trying to establish Gypsy radio in Novi Sad, but he cannot live without playing music. Are we not all Gypsies? Listen to this music, dance, shout be Gypsy, be free. |
