Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 9 | Hrönir | Thelmo Cristovam, Túlio Falcão, Lucas Alencar | "Things are duplicated in Tlön; they simultaniously prohang to erase themselves and to lose the particularitities, to forgets. The example of the threshold is classic that lasted while it was visited by a beggar and that it was lost of sight with his death. Centuries and centuries of idealism had an influence in the reality. The object duplication is common loss. Two people searchs a pencil; the first one finds and he does not say nothing; the second finds a pencil not less real, however, more adjusted to his expectation these secondary objects are called Hrönir." Jorge Luis Borges. Formed in december 2000, by Thelmo Cristovam and Túlio Falcão, in 2003, Lucas Alencar is invited to join the group. Hrönir is a electroacoustic/concrete music, electroacoustic improvisation, live electroacoustic and noise group from Pernambuco, Brasil. |

Search | Add | 9 | Deejay Postie | Deejay Postie is essentially just a nerd with an ever-growing record collection who liked it better when you found out about new hip hop music by reading HHC before getting a train to Soho and buying mixtapes in Mr Bongo and Deal Real. Thanks in large part to the the Dons of the UK Hip Hop mixtape game, Disorda, MK, Yoda, Greenpeace, Louis Slipperz & The Nextmen et al, he was fortunate to discover music on vinyl before he discovered stamps... same collector’s infliction, but a slightly cooler manifestation that resulted in him preferring puma hi-tops to anoraks and Blak Twang to Penny Blacks! These days the musical taste is broader but the same love of an intricately constructed mixtape continues and can be found on the series of independent cassette releases on his Spines on the Shelves mixtape label.

Search | Add | 9 | Sandro Lúcio | Brazilian singer. Born in São Mateus in the extreme north of Espirito Santo and since childhood, he has lived in the Vale do Jurigão in the southern state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, where he lived his childhood and adolescence, Sandro Lúcio, who began his career in 1971 as a singer romantic brega. And it was precisely in the midwestern region, where the career of the singer Sandro Lúcio was born, predominating in the cities of Rondonópolis, Paranatininga and Pedra Preta. It was in Rondonópolis in the state of Mato Grosso where he moved very early with his parents and his 8 brothers, who Sandro Lúcio sang for the first time in a station of Radio. In São João in 1971 he sang live for the whole of Amazonia, direct from the studios of Rádio Amorim Juventude AM, when he was part of the trio "Parrot Parrot and Mangabão", formed with his two brothers Mateus and Moacyr. Sandro Lucio was the Mangabão. The singer remembers that the trio was formed by the influence of the longed [a=Trio Parada Dura] that was very successful in the 70's in the southern states and midwest of the country. But only in 1984, Sandro Lúcio decided to dissolve the partnership that maintained with his brothers and took his solo career for Brazil. Today, with 28 recorded albums, he recorded his first live DVD on Saturday, April 14, 2007 in Praça Castelo Branco, downtown Itamaraju. Already Sandro Lúcio makes a beautiful reflection saying that Itamaraju gave him life in his new professional phase from the year 2000, and found it more than fair to choose the city to fulfill his greatest dream. The singer Sandro Lúcio was reborn musically in Bahia, through the musical entrepreneur Aroldo Neves, owner of Aroldo Neves Produções, a company specialized in promotions of artistic shows, that in 1999 began to entrepreneur the singer especially in the northeast. But it was from the beginning of the year 2000 that Sandro Lúcio exploded musically with great successes, realizing about 200 shows per year. Bahia and Maranhão are the states where the singer's shows are most requested. Only in Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba and Amapá, Sandro Lúcio has not yet performed.

Search | Add | 9 | Niki J | Niki Mills | Niki used to club regularly and found his home amongst the music and lights. He discovered a passion for mixing when a friend bought decks to his house and he took to it like a duck to water. Niki became part of the Suffolk music DJ scene in the late 90’s/ early noughties playing out at venues such as Hollywood’s in Ipswich, where he was part of a group called Essence. He built a strong reputation for his mixing skills but the life style that often comes along side DJ’ing took its toll. Originally a vinyl DJ, after a 20 year break Niki has moved over to digital mixing. Now back on the straight and narrow, Niki is getting back out there and looking forward to showing the world what he is made of and has become a resident under many channels such as Atomic Audio, Exile Hard Dance Heaven, E.N.D and more. Music is therapy to him and he is keen to network with like minded people within the music industry. He wants to share the joy that music brings him with other people. Niki is a DJ with a passion for all music, loving dance music ranging from Deep House, Tech House, up to Hard House and Bounce. Each genre has its own flavour and he loves to try show his own flavour in his mixes. He always wants his love of music to come across when he is playing, he sees mixing as a way of sharing his passion for music and loves seeing and feeling the crowds reaction. He thrives off the happiness it gives to all those listening. Niki is a great believer that music is therapy and is a necessity to help with mental health. Niki recently made it to the top 16 Dj’s of the Revolution competition out of 52 and played in the Isle of Wight and although he didn't win, he was invited to play an event alongside major names such as Jason Nawty and Amber D. He was selected in the top 20 Dj's of the Tidy 2023 competition getting to attend Tidy HQ and show them his skills and will now be playing at the Queen Vic at the Tidy Weekender 2023!. |

Search | Add | 9 | Tepper-Bennett | Sid Tepper and Roy C. Bennett met as young boys growing up in Brooklyn, New York. Their mutual interest in music led to a highly successful music collaboration that spanned more than twenty-five years. Between 1945 and 1970 they had close to three hundred musical compositions published. Tepper and Bennett began their career together in 1946, when they became staff song writers for Sydney Mills (of Mills Music). Their first big hit came in 1948 with 'Red Roses for a Blue Lady'. Bennett and Tepper scored big again in 1951 when Rosemary Clooney recorded their composition "Suzy Snowflake." In 1955, their 1954 composition of "Naughty Lady of Shady Lane" was a top-10 hit for both Dean Martin and the Ames Brothers. After three years with Mills Music, the duo decided to become freelance artists, and their successes eventually caught the attention of Elvis Presley's people. Tepper & Bennett wrote 45 compositions for Elvis' albums and movies, and is quite possibly their greatest legacy to the world of music. In 2002, Roy Bennett and Sid Tepper were honored at ceremonies in Memphis, TN by Lisa Marie Presley for their contribution to her father's success. They were also honored for having written a large portion of the album [i]Blue Hawaii[/i], which is widely considered by Elvis fans to be his best album. Other successful artists who recorded Bennett & Tepper songs include The Beatles, Perry Como, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Robert Goulet, Dinah Shore, Burl Ives, Eartha Kitt, Les Paul & Mary Ford, Frank Sinatra, Cliff Richard, Duke Ellington, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Marty Robbins, the Ames Brothers, Jo Stafford, Wayne Newton, and Sarah Vaughn.

Dr. Revolt began his practice in 1977 as an original member of the historic New York City graffiti crew, The Rolling Thunder Writers (RTW). Known for doing both tags & elaborate & colorful pieces, he developed his reputation by taking over the Broadway #1 line with his colorful psychedelic & comic art influenced stylings & later, taking it "all-city". With his contributions to the seminal classic hip-hop films "Wild Style & "Style Wars", various music videos & his tour of duty in Baltimore where he, like a "messenger of style" single handedly kick-started a graff-scene that still feels his influence today, his place in the history of graff-dom is secure. Today, Dr. Revolt's accomplishments far surpass his early NYC beginnings. In addition to designing several t-shirts, album covers, & logo work for various artists including: THE FUN LOVIN' CRIMINALS, THE BLACK CROWS, CAMP LOW, GRANDMASTER FLASH, SLY-n-ROBIE'S TAXI DJ. LINK, SKARhead, etc. ... etc. & creating the classic "YO! MTV Raps' logo, his work has been, & continues to be seen in various publications & art galleries globally.

Search | Add | 9 | Tomas Dahl | Tomas Dahl | TD, aka Tomas Dahl from Oslo, Norway has spent the last 20 years playing in various rocks bands, recording albums and touring the world. He started out playing drums, but soon took up guitar, bass, keys and singing. He also has his own one-man band called Caddy, where he writes everything, plays all the instruments, sings and produces. In the summer of 2015 he released his solo album to rave reviews, and Norwegian press appointed it the "album of the summer". Sometime in the late 90s, tired of being in bands, rehearsing and touring, he was introduced by friends to the Global Underground series. Already loving bands like Kraftwerk, this was a great way to get the inspiration back. Getting on a different musical path, deep diving into electronic music, learning about its history and how a DJ can keep a crowd on a dancefloor for hours on end. 15 years later, still loving everything from Frank Sinatra and The Beach Boys to Detroit techno, progressive house and ambient, he combines elements from his many influences to create a sound of his own.... |

Feraud Guzman Recordings) in Guayaquil city, they recorded in 1961 a Long Play album in which were included 10 Christmas Carols tracks, also recorded 5 mini discs of 45 RPM. Their only and unique album printed and titled "Dulce Jesus Mio" becomes a classic Christmas Carols in Ecuador that practically has been immortalized into the whole Ecuatorian music. Unfortunately the Trujillo brothers in their childhood didn't had the professional support to continue their career, according to themselves they had too much regret with an uncle of them that was their "manager", this man was acting without scruple (because they were orphans of father and mother), exploited them in such a way that they did not perceive any money gain, yet being the main stars of the spectacle.

He served in Serbian army during the First World War first as a drummer and later as a zither player in the military orchestra. The Serbian army retreated to the South through Albania and the troops have been stationed on the Greek island Corfu. In 1916 Đorđe Marinković composed a nostalgic and Serb nationalistic song "Tamo daleko" that became very popular not only amongst Serb but also among other soldiers on the Thessaloniki front and was rendered into many languages, English title is "Far away over there", French "Au loin, au loin sur Corfu", Czech and Slovak "Tam v dali". The song became an unofficial hymn of Serbs and it is a common believe that it is a traditional one. After the WWI Marinković got the scholarship from the King Peter I personally and moved to France in 1920. In Paris 1922 he copyrighted the composition and lyrics for the song "Tamo daleko" worldwide, the fact officially acknowledged not untill 2008. Đorđe Marinković has got some recordings under the alias Georges Mariel. He died 1977 in Paris. |

Greco | A South London based DJ and producer, Jimmy Plates has been an avid Hip Hop head for over 20 years and is known as one of London's more respected and knowledgeable record dealers [also collector and digger]. Already an accomplished DJ "Plates" decided to look for a new challenge and focused his attention towards beat-making in the late 90's. After honing his skills and clocking up several production credits on independent Hip Hop releases, Jimmy Plates exploded onto the scene with his 2003 debut 12" "Big Rigs" / "Tasty Kakes". This double "A" sided single featured the vocal talents of Philadelphia rap crew Endevers and won rave reviews in magazines on both sides of the Atlantic topping both U.S. independent and U.K. Hip Hop charts simultaneously! Feeling equally at home recording on either side of the "pond" Plates continues to work with both U.S. and U.K. artists, as well as producing music beds for London's hottest urban radio shows [most notably Choice FMs "Friday Night Flavas"] licensed music to Global Underground and for various soundtracks such as "Fear Of Death By Falling" a short film released in 2004. Not just limiting his musical talents to the underground Plates has also been the man behind some of the hottest "street" remixes in recent years of artists such as Destinys Child, Missy Elliot and Kelis earning numerous club spins, mixtape appearances and playlists on radio stations diverse as Kiss and XFM. |

You can get inspiration from any kind of beats and sounds. Kay hardcore focuses her music on rythmics, bass beats and distorted sounds. This makes her signature. Always looking for new inspiration and stay true to your passion. Kay Hardcore: " it still happens to me to listen to commercial music and to go clubbing" What brought you in this Hardcore music scene? " I had 14yo when i went to my first underground party, I found myself in Cornillons's basements in Liège, a very particular place.... I got hooked! I knew it was what i wanted to do! It took me a year to learn about how to mix and play with the tunes, Afterwards the live followed quite naturally" When did you start to play in front of a crowd and where? " I was 15yo, i had to play at a birthday party a whole night and i understood there it will become my passion. I remember the intense feeling, it was like a fever burning inside my head. I wanted to create my own music and share it with people. At 17, I played my first live session, in a free party in the fort of Suarlee in Namur at the Hardcorp Soundsystem. they made me part of their crew afterwards." In spite of her young age, Kay Hardcore has already played in important events like: - Hardcorp benefit - Hardcorp vs clandestine Bass 2014 - The lotus club, blaton - Chill2chill 2015 with Andy tea core and darktek at the head(top) of poster - Gabberfm circuit core - And soon Hardcorp vs clandestine 2015. As well as collaborations: - Trasher aka beast heard - MGS and Freakensis - 2 ÉP is spirit to be made. We wanted to ask a question to Kay Hardcore (out of pure curiosity) What would you say to young artists like you who would dream of a carreer in the hardcore scene? " Never give up! Keep on believing in yourself and know how to take criticism. Life is an adventure and everyday is a new chance to learn and progress." By Angie Aka Self Control. |

Search | Add | 9 | Nils-Åke Runeson | Swedish singer, born June 7, 1952 in Jönköping. During the 70s he used the stage name Runeson. He began his career in the 1960s, among other things playing in the band Deecoys, a local band in Falkenberg. He was signed to Polar by Stikkan Anderson and released the album Runeson, produced by Clabbe af Geijerstam, in 1974. He then participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen in 1975 with the song Oh, Juicy, which finished in 10th place. He also participated in the Swedish Melodifestivalen in 1983, then with the melody Värmen som du gav, which missed the final vote. The second participation in the Melodifestivalen led to him being offered to make a children's music saga for Sweden's Television, and it resulted in Hjalmar Jamas Äventyr. He then started working in advertising and in the 1980s he founded the 60s band The Hittills. In the late 2010s, contacts with the band Deecoys were re-established, and they did several concerts with music from the 1960s in Falkenberg between 2018 and 2021. Runeson became the Swedish Junior Bowling Champion in 1972.

Search | Add | 9 | Daniel L. Dalley | Daniel Dalley is an American metal guitarist/songwriter and music producer who's music and playing have a decidedly European style and vibe. With influences ranging from King Diamond, Megadeth and Malmsteen to JS Bach and Jerry Goldsmith(horror-movie score composer), Dalley's music is both visual as well as heavy. What matters to him first and foremost though are "the songs" and creating an atmosphere with the music. The music he creates of his band [a230959] is his purpose. Whether its the bombastic drive of the drums or the haunting interlude arrangements, POWER's music is sure to be appealing to the lovers of "Metal" looking for an inspired sonic journey.
