Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 9 Willy Sabor Andres Daniel Gonzalez Bravo Chilean actor and singer, son of [a3312480] Willy Sabor (born Andrés Daniel González Bravo; Santiago, September 13, 1967) is a Chilean comedian, radio host, and singer. Son of music producer Carlos González, he began singing on "Seriatrux" on Avenida Colón and his first stage name was Andy Bravo. Under this pseudonym, he recorded his first album in 1992. He also performed the songs for the TVN program Hugo and the soap operas Marrón Glacé, el regreso (1996) (under the pseudonym Andy Bravo) and Playa Salvaje (1997), both on Channel 13. In the summer of 1997, on the recommendation of singer Fernando Ubiergo, he was invited by the Chilean Communications Company to audition for its new radio project, and was selected to join the broadcasting team of the nascent Radio Corazón. The name Willy Sabor itself emerged when he joined this radio station; the name was suggested by comedian Fernando Alarcón taking cues from the style he wanted to imbue radio to reach audiences. The radio station became a chart-topping hit, and his popularity soared to new heights. He released his second album, now under his new name, Willy Sabor y la Sabor Band, on the Warner Music label. This album featured songs such as "El León" and "Más Rica que Tú." He later released his third album, on the Universal Music label, featuring his hit "Pobre Pollo." He served on the jury of the Viña del Mar Festival in 2003, where he also presented his greatest hits. From 2005 to 2012, he won the Copihue de Oro for both Best Radio Host and Best Radio Program, earning 10 consecutive trophies, demonstrating his strong popularity on the radio. He hosted the programs El Sabor de la Noche (2000) and Sabor: El Show de Willy Sabor (2002) on Chilevisión and also participated in the programs Pase lo que pase (1999-2000) on TVN, Morandé con compañía (2001, 2002-2017) and Humor a la carta (2013), both on Mega, and La noche es nuestra (2018-2019) and Viva la pipol (2019) on Chilevisión. In May 2008, he released the album Lo maravilloso de Willy Sabor, a compilation of covers, including "No me sabes" (You Don't Know Me) by Ray Charles, "Juístete" (Juístete) by Edmundo "Bigote" Arrocet, "Lo maravilloso de ti" (The Wonder of You) by Elvis Presley, "En Mejillones yo tuvo un amor" (In Mejillones I Had a Love) by Gamelín Guerra, and even "Cumpleaños Feliz," among others. In 2011, he recorded his latest album, El Sabor de los 60 (The Taste of the 60s). From March 2012 to October 2020, he was a host on Radio Candela FM, owned by Mega; It is worth mentioning that he was able to use the pseudonym "Willy Sabor" because it was registered in his name after the 2011 incident. He was the only host who remained on the radio station from its first to its last day of broadcast, opening and closing the program. He is the official face of the Doña Carne Butcher Shop and has also made commercials for Disfruta Effervescent Salt, JB Products, Arcor Cookies, Bodega Uno Wine, Sprim, and Ripley. In the July 8, 2024, episode of the program Arayita TV, owned by the El Sentido del Humor Producciones holding company, he greeted and sang happy birthday to his distant relative Eduardo Bravo, whose birthday is on July 9.

In March 2018 he released his debut EP titled Dream Trauma. Since then, Dustin has been making music under the artist name Drawn To The Sky, reflecting his endless ambition to reach athe higherst level of human consciousness and personal growthpersonal growth and human consciousness.

Search Add 9 Diastolic Murmurs The Diastolic Murmurs (sometimes also known as Diastolic M) formed themselves in 1985 during electro-acoustic research within Phillip Wachsmann's legendary Electronic Music studio (now demolished) at the City Literary Institute, Room 53, Keeley House, Keeley Street, London WC2 Primarily their aesthetic was to explore as fully as possible the "occult" sound-world inherent in any given object or material (with a preference for the damaged, broken, and discarded) and their extraction or autopsy with the use of contact microphones. In the mid 1980's they performed what they termed "Live" Electronic Dissections, turning their microcosm into a macrocosm, acutely aware perhaps of Artaud's call for "sounds that cannot be endured" In their 30+ years career they have collaborated and performed with Dr Edward Scheer, Michael Prime, Furt, Clive Graham, and more recently with artist and writer Douglas Park, stylist and fetish film director Phoenix Blu-Coyle and (Dr) Jonathan Bohman of Secluded Bronte.

Search Add 9 John Luttrell John Luttrell John Luttrell is a composer, producer, singer-songwriter, and performer. His music spans genres including solo works on guitar and piano, ambient and progressive rock, as well as scores for media and films. A true "citizen of the world" John was born in Venezuela in 1957 where he lived until his family moved to the US, the first of many cultural influences that appear in his music. Luttrell began his musical journey playing piano when his family moved from the US to Tripoli, Libya. After a few disappointing lessons, self-inspired, John played by ear, teaching himself piano and mandolin. In the 70s the influence of Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, and finally Led Zeppelin fueled John's desire to get his first guitar. His family relocated to Lagos, Nigeria where he was influenced by the Afrobeat rhythms of musicians like King Sunny Ade, which you can hear in his compositions today (Earth Dance). At 14, he attended The American School in Switzerland which became his opportunity test his wings. During the years there he jammed with roommate and future bandmate, Dave Veirs (Interstellar Dust) and became immersed in the music of progressive rock groups such as Yes, ELP, Pink Floyd, Genesis, The Moody Blues, and Mike Oldfield. At the height of the 70s British rock explosion John moved to London and joined a band called Chillum, playing both guitar and organ. Luttrell went from London to Phoenix, Arizona where he studied electronics engineering, to explore his interest in synthesizers and electronic music. In the 80s John played guitar and sang in the Los Angeles-based prog rock trio Helios with boarding school friend Dave Veirs on keyboard and guitar, and Tony Betino on drums, playing numerous gigs in the LA area. John established his own indie label "OtterSong Records" and production company “BasisMedia Communication” in Southern California in the 90's while playing numerous gigs around LA. 2000 saw the release of Underwater Flying Lessons, which was primarily new age piano, with guitar and ambient textures. This was followed up by A Sense of Impending Levitation, which gained popularity with the track “Journey to Farpoint” on college radio stations, especially KSBR in Mission Viejo, California, on the Morning Breeze with host Donna Jo “DJ” Thornton. John was a regular on KSBR’s Morning Breeze Cruise on the Ocean Institute’s Sea Explorer in Dana Point, California, playing his music live on the open sea to dolphins, whales, enthralling the lucky listeners aboard. During this time, he performed at other venues in Southern California, often collaborating with artists such as Dov, Kori Linae Carothers, Jeff Oster and others. In 2005 John collaborated with Russian composer Alex Tiuniaev on the ambient rock project Garden Hose Universe, releasing the EP Falling. In 2007 Luttrell released The Corridors of Time, which originated as the score for the short film The Box, by Steve Deeble, eventually became an official album release. The 2014 release from John is The Dream Exchange, which features John prominently on guitar with acoustic and electric ambient instrumental tracks that follow the theme of the album – the exchange of dreams. The pronunciation of Luttrell is LUTtrell (British) rather than lutTRELL (French). The accent is on LUT, which rhymes with "NUT" and ends the same as "electrical".

Search Add 9 Somnus Corp Beto Rodriguez, Gabriel Sordo, Jorge Lopez Somnus Corp were formed in 2000 in Guadalajara Mexico and was driven by the solid and deep friendship of Beto Rodriguez, Gabriel Sordo and Jorge Lopez. They started to make a noise in the underground scene of Guadalajara for the remixes they did for local bands like "Sussie 4" and "Telefunka". They also became known for their live performances and reworks by their live alter ego's "Oceano 303", "Forward" and "Jorge". Beto Rodriguez has more than 13 years experience in DJ residencies in almost every major night club in guadalajara where he has been an essential component in promoting house music into the city. Jorge Lopez, with half of his life in the late 80's playing in new wave & new romantic bands, got the house music bug when he finally discovered the other side of music, house music. Gabriel with just 6 years as a DJ has already become one of the best 5 DJ's in his genre around Mexico, with residencies all over the country with Moshic and Randall Jones. He has already shared the decks with some of the biggest names in the business such as Sander Kleinenberg, Sasha, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Chris Fortier, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, Jimmy Van M, Steve Porter and Lee Burridge to name a few. Their music has been regularly supported and charted by the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren , Sander Kleinenberg, Kosmas Epsilon , Chris Salt , Moshic and Derek Howell.

Search Add 9 María Alejandra Matos María Alejandra Matos Perhaps the hottest young, female merengue artist today is Maria Alejandra, from Puerto Rico. Interested in singing from a very young age, Alejandra started studying music and voice when she was 15 years old, inspired by merengue greats Juan Luis Guerra and Olga Tañón. Within a year she was recording advertising jingles for television, and singing many different musical genres in hotels. Alejandra released her debut album, Que Lloren Las Mujeres Tontas on the Rodven label. The album received wide critical acclaim. It included hit songs such as the title track and gave great impretus to a promising career. Alejandra’s second album, Locuras brought her international recognition. Also on the Rodven label, the album helped solidify her status as up-and-coming merengue star. The album showed Alejandra’s energy as well as talent with a mixture of ballads and very danceable songs such as “Como Pez En El Agua” and “Mar De Emociones”. Produced by Tony “Tun Tun” Castro, who also worked with Elvis Crespo and Grupo Manía, Alejandra has released her third album, the self-titled Maria Alejandra and possibly her best effort to date. The recording appears on the Universal label with great songs such as “Me Equivoque” . The album also included Si Tú Te Vas, which appears on two tracks: once as a ballad, her first, and again in merengue form. Both tracks are excellent examples of Alejandra’s talent.

Search Add 9 Emma Lamontagne Singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer Emma Lamontagne landed a single’s deal the very first time she performed a bonafide gig in 2016, winning a contest put on by the Ottawa Bluesfest and recording “I Don’t Sleep” with songwriter/producer Robyn Dell’Unto. The teenager at the time went on to achieve close to half-million streams for the song, but she wasn’t happy with the electronic-pop direction her sound was going, so she took a break. Now, with an audio engineering degree under her belt and a new home studio, Emma is back with a sound that she wants: lyric-focused folk-pop. But live is where she also shines; her between song banter is downright hilarious. (Source: https://emmalamontagne.com/bio)

Search Add 9 EN2ORPHINE Gaetan Nelias French Electronic artist born in 1982. A&R of RED REC & Team Label CDT. EN2ORPHINE: Curious insatiable and eternally passionate, En2orphine never does things like everyone else. First attached body and soul to the Bordeaux rock scene, he later falls in love with electronic music at the dawn of the 2000s at parties organized by the atypical club Space Opera. It was these two love at first sight that motivated her determination and her endless involvement in music. He started with the production, which led him to present live acts with 69db, Lenny D, McOutis, DJ Volta, Hilight Tribe and DJamency, and gradually became part of the mix universe. At the same time, he ventured into rock-fusion with his group "Churchill" and engaged in electro-jazz and world music collaborations, wherever his characteristic open-mindedness could lead him. His meeting with young WestSound Brestois marks a turning point for him. After a year of exchanges, they offer him the opportunity to mix alongside Dax J. It is then that the hyperactive he is decided to crack on Rennes thus participating in the creation of REDEMPTION. More than just a collective responsible for organizing parties, he is at the origin of a series of podcasts called REDCAST and a label called RED REC in which En2orphine plays a very active role. More recently, he joined the staff of the "La Chinerie" community as an administrator for his techno CDT branch. Preferring shade and mystery, he strives to discover as much pearls as possible in order to study them and then assemble them to form auditory frescoes. Moreover, his selections are more to be seen as mosaics or patchworks as the focus is on diversity and polychrome. Various atmospheres mix and even create original bridges between musical genres in order to question certain boundaries between them and to surprise the listener. Whether the atmosphere is cold and distressing or warm and reassuring, En2orphine finds itself there, adapts and mixes like a chameleon, its eclectic foolproof constituting its greatest strength.

Search Add 9 Marisa Solinas Marisa Anna Solinas Italian actress and singer born in Genoa on May 30, 1941, died 13 February 2019. Known under several pretty nicknames such as “The Pocket Venus of the Italian Cinema” and the “iron chick” – born from a Tuscan mother and from a Sardinian father. Her passion for the opera and singing – that she has studied at the Carlo Felice in Genoa – together with the expressive beauty of a cover girl projected her very soon into the cinema world. Immortalized by the greatest international photographers for almost three hundred covers and an infinite number of the most important newspapers (among which, the foreign Paris Match, France-Soir, Jour de France, Daily News, Film und Frau, Primer Plano, Corriere Canadese, and the Italian Gente, Oggi, Epoca, Sorrisi e Canzoni, Il Giorno, Tempo, Il Borghese, La Domenica del Corriere, Confidenze, Playboy, etc.), her image, skillfully captured by Marquis Crispolti, has been also used for a very widespread "seal-stamp”. In 1973, Gina Lollobrigida choose her as "Italian Venus” for her photo book "Italia Mia". She has also posed for the great sculptor Francesco Messina, for a life-size bronze nude which has been exhibited in several international expositions. Cinema and theatre actress, she has played in more than 50 films for the cinema screen both in Italy and abroad, among which: "Boccaccio 70" (by Mario Monicelli; Festival Cannes '61), "La Commare Secca" (Pier Paolo Pasolini) by Bernardo Bertolucci (Festival Venice '62), "Noche De Verano" (Award of Festival Mar de la Plata '62) by Jorge Grau (with G. Maria Volonté, Francisco Rabal, Umberto Orsini), "Freddy, Tiere, Sensationen" (1965, with Freddy Quinn) by K. Vibak, "Buona Come Il Pane" (1966) by Edward Dein (director of Brando), "Padre Di Famiglia" (Festival Venice '67) by Nanni Loy (with Leslie Caron, Ugo Tognazzi and Nino Manfredi), "Riderà" (1967) by Bruno Corbucci (with Little Tony and Oreste Lionello), "Killer Adiòs" (1968) by Primo Zeglio, "Blind Man" (1971) by Ferdinando Baldi (with Ringo Starr), "L'Arbitro" (1972, with Lando Buzzanca and Joan Collins), "Ybris" (Festival Venice '83) by Gavino Ledda, "I Due Carabinieri" (1987) by and with Carlo Verdone (with Enrico Montesano), "Tutti Dentro" (1987) by and with Alberto Sordi, "L'Ombra Del Gigante" (Festival Berlin 2000) by Roberto Petrocchi, "Almost Blue" (Festival Cannes 2000) by Alex Infascelli. In '62, she was the only Italian actress selected by the great Lee Strasberg for a course of the "Actors Studio" in Italy. We remember her in the TV-films "Quo Vadis" (1987, with Karl Maria Brandauer, Frederic Forrest, Leopoldo Trieste) by Franco Rossi, "Tutti Gli Uomini Sono Uguali" (with Enzo Decaro and Maurizio Crozza) by Alessandro Capone, and the more recent "Lucia" (with Sabrina Ferilli) by Pasquale Pozzessere. Marisa Solinas is also known as professional singer, having started her career by recording for the most important record companies (EMI-Voce del Padrone, FONIT CETRA, RCA), with a repertoire ranging from the auteur Light Music to the operetta. She has singed with famous artists like Tony Renis, Adriano Celentano, Domenico Modugno, Gianni Morandi, Fausto Leali, Renato Zero, Edoardo Vianello, Pino Donaggio, Memo Remigi, Giorgio Gaber, Mal, Sacha Distel and her unforgettable bosom friend Luigi Tenco, who dedicated to her some songs, among which "Quando". In 1963 she interpreted pieces by some of the most important music authors all around the world such as Gilbert Becaud, who chose her as exclusive Italian interpreter of his two hits "Je T'Aime" and "Mon Arbre" for the EMI - Voce Del Padrone, J. Chavez ("Per Chi Sogna Annamaria"), Edoardo Vianello, Franco Califano, Nisa, Detto Mariano, Stelvio Cipriani, Giorgio Calabrese, Giacomo Dell'Orso, Giuseppe Cassia and Elvio Monti. From '66 to '72, she played in several music shows, among which, a recital with Mina in Vicenza, directed by Gianni Ferrio. During the opening of the broadcasting station "Tele Napoli", she sang Roberto Murolo’s songs together with their author. She was top of the charts with Elvio Monti’s piece "L'Estasi", sung together with Andrea Giordana. Furthermore she has performed in some of the most famous revenues all around the world, among which the ONU Palace (invited by Ruggero Orlando, who has also dedicated her a poem) in New York, the Skylon Room of the Niagara Falls in Canada, Caracas ("Renny Ottolina Show", with Sammy Davis and Djonne Warwick). In the television world she was launched (1959) as singer by Domenico Modugno. For the Rai she appeared as guest in "Alla Fiera del Mago Zurlì" (with Cino Tortorella and Johnny Dorelli), "Musicalissimo" (with Tony Dall'Ara) by and with Gino Bramieri, "Domenica In" (various editions, among which the ones by Corrado and the ones by Pippo Baudo), "Alle Nove della Sera" (show of Rai Uno by Maurizio Costanzo) together with Gianni Morandi, and "Musicrama" with Alida Valli. For Radio Uno, she has conducted for months the morning music programme "Il Topo di Discoteca", with all her songs. At the Bagaglino in Rome she was main interpreter in the show by Faele and Pingitore "Anche L'Occhio Vuole La Sua Partner", by executing a part of her own repertoire. At the Odeon in Milan she has sung within the recital "Il Dito Sulla...Mala" by Castellacci and Pingitore. She has interpreted several operettas among which "La Principessa della Czarda", "Cin-Ci-Là", "Il Paese Dei Campanelli", "Al Cavallino Bianco" and "Il Paese Del Sorriso" at the Teatro Cento in Ferrara, filmed by Rai for the television programme "Odeon" by Maurizio Costanzo. Search Add 9 Big Dan Starr Estle Don Linebarger Lead singer "Big Dan" Starr certainly had a colorful relationship with his own identity... The Dan Starr persona was one of many he used during his lifetime, including several variations of his birth name, Estle Don Linebarger (1937-2004). Mr. Linebarger was born in Missouri and as a teen he performed on local radio and played around in a hillbilly band called the Ozark String Dusters. Linebarger joined the Army in the late 'Fifties and played European gigs in a serviceman's band that included Tommy Cash, Johnny Cash's brother. (Or at least that's what he told the Orlando Sentinel when they profiled him in 1973). He started writing music as a teen, copyrighting at least one song in mid-'Fifties, and released a few singles between 1968-73, including a UFO conspiracy anthem ("Captain Tom Martell") and a patriotic song, "Bugle Boy," which he dedicated to Vietnam War-era POWs. At some point, he may have lived in Nashville, and in the late '60s was playing clubs around Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware. Around 1968, he led a group called the Rustlers, which he later changed to the Hometowners. Going by the name Starr, Mr. Linebarger eventually moved to Florida, establishing himself as a bandleader and television host, fronting a group known as the Hometowners USA.
