Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Inizio attività da solista: 2016 - presente Generi: Pop, Pop Rock, Latin Pop, Pop Rap Periodo di attività musicale: 1983 – in attività Etichetta: Top Records Album pubblicati: Music Background (2016) Singoli: Life is one, be happy (2018); Io sono l'ultimo (2018); Di azzurro e cielo (2018-2019) |

Search | Add | 3 | Blackwall Hitch | Hardcore band from Milwaukee/West Bend, WI. Active in the early 2000's. Band members include: Vocals: Jeff Winkowski Guitar: Andy Freeburg Bass: Trevor Broskowski Drums: Eric Gorecki Vocals (post 7"): [a2482688] Blackwall Hitch was a hardcore band started by Andy Freeburg and myself (Jeff Winkowski) shortly after 9/11, while I was putting the finishing touches on “What Do we have to do” (A Violent Femmes Tribute), and folding my music magazine, Actionman. Andy and I were really longing to get back into a primal hardcore band and be very serious about the production of the records and prolific in our frequency of playing out. We also were keenly aware of the sound we wanted, now in our mid twenties. The move at the time was the Cave-In faux prog. stuff which I liked but it did not fit the urgency of the music we were trying to manifest. Thus, we auditioned a handful of technically proficient drummers and bass players and wished them well. Enter two kids: Eric Gorecki and Trevor “snake” Broskowski. They were younger than us and just as no frills, yet had the chops to play fast and hard and the desire to practice religiously. Trevor gave us the name of our band and of our seven inch ( “Milwaukee Burning”) and Eric gave us four takes for four songs in our recording session, no mistakes after doing thirteen shows with us in just a two months. We recorded on 1/4 inch tape at Eugene III’s studio ( The Etiquette). We were all really pleased with the grit and the quality at once that both the tape and Eugene’s supervision provided. The night we did the back up vocals we invited a youth crew. Jeremy Ampe and the Laval Blessing guys were in attendance as were some really young punk rockers who were hanging out on Brady Street. Lighting started striking nearby and the tape machine began to hiss. The equipment was not easy to replace nor was it cheap. We called it a night and did the backups the next day by ourselves. The record turned out great and after two seasons more of shows I moved to Chicago. I gave my blessing on our buddy Dan from [a6148530] (Thrash and Burn) to take over on vocals. We were all friends.

At the beginning of 1990, the first album was released by the ACIT label, with the songs "Minutos" and "Garota Linda", written by Ademir Mezacasa and Ademar Flach, both band members. These songs were very popular on mainstream radio stations in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and in the same year of release they were part of a compilation album released by the label. From then on, the band began to perform in clubs in the capital and in the main places of the countryside, conquering a large number of admirers. The next step was the recording of the album "Nossa Canção", released in 1992, with the song "Minha Lady" as its single, a Brazilian Portuguese version of "You're a Woman" by Appledat Hendrix Van Halen, which was immediately accepted by listeners. With these hits, concerts began to take place in many cities of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina.

Search | Add | 3 | Andrew Cushen | Andrew Cushen | Andrew "Andy Trash" Cushen has been playing music since his debut at CBGBs at 13 years old on drums with The Cravens. He went on to play drums with Redex before switching to bass in such acts as Scarecrow (3 tracks are available on 2012 release "Dark New York (Gotham City's Post Punk, Goth, & Deathrock Bands 1983-1988) Vol. 1", infamous NYC trashrock band Chop Shop with Joe Truck, and a short stint in the briefly-reformed HiSheriffs of Blue. That led him to more of an emphasis on Delta Blues and slide guitar, fronting shortlived Punk/Delta hybrid Love In Vein with Eddie Stern (Chop Shop), Jerry Williams (Th' Cigaretz, 171-A Studio) and Scott Jarvis (Cigz, Workdogs, etc.). Next was blues/punk/rock hybrid The Hellhounds, and occasional gigs with the Workdogs (one captured here: https://workdogs.bandcamp.com/track/the-theme-2), plus an appearance on their 1993 release "Roberta" on lap steel (available on Spotify). After a hiatus of a dozen years, he recently resurfaced for a few Hellhounds reunion gigs, then spent just under a year in Brooklyn-based HonkyTonk/Alt-Country outfit Aron Blue and The Bootleggers, whose eponymous record he appears on, playing lead and slide on all tracks, though uncredited. Currently he can be heard gigging with Rockabilly band The Skelekasters, and The Robert Kennedy Assassination, and on guest lead and rhythm guitar on the Jam Messengers song "Contact High".. |

Search | Add | 3 | Werner Fischer's Travelogue | TRAVELOGUE is a jazz group from Switzerland, founded by guitarist Werner Tian Fischer. They primarily interpret Fischer’s original jazz compositions (lyrics by Jan Krohn). The rest of their live repertoire comprises of selected jazz originals by kindred spirits. 'EASTBOUND', their first album, was recorded in Boston in 2003 and released on Elch Musical Industries. For their second recording, lyricist Jan Krohn provided some of the songs with his trademark lyrics. The ensuing recording session materialized in spring 2010 at Hardstudios in Winterthur, featuring outstanding Swedish vocalist Sophie Dunér and bassist Nesin Howhannesijan from Berlin. 'CHINESE SOUL' was released the following year on Altrisuoni Records (AS 292). In autumn 2011, the band (with pianist/vocalist Mya Audrey and bassist Zhang Ling) toured extensively in China and Europe. In 2013, the band performed with British bassist Pete Townsend. The Travelogue composition 'Bon Voyage' provided for the soundtrack of the acclaimed documentary film portrait NO FLASH. Homage to Ricardo Rangel (1924–2009) – a tribute to the work and life of the famous Mozambican photographer – which appeared in 2012 and was shown in Switzerland, Portugal, Mozambique, England, Argentina and Brazil, as well as broadcast on RTP África and on Mozambican TV. The line-up changed again in 2014 to include pianist Roberto Domeniconi and New York-based bassist Fredi Meli (& occasionally Hans Ermel, also on bass). Their third studio album, 'THE LIGHT IS ON', was recorded together with vocalist Coco Rouzier (USA) in autumn 2015 at Gabriel Recording in Stalden and released on the PBR Jazz label (PBR J300) the following spring. 'FORECLOSURE', a live recording from October 2016, was released in early 2018.

Search | Add | 3 | The Wankerss | The Wankerss have reged the Italian underground with their visionary and caustic hard rock'nroll for a few years now. Taking inspiration from the 80's heavy glam and the wildest 70's punk, the band released a self-produced demo-cd "...Still Waiting For The Extinction" in 2005, and a single MCD, under Jetglow Recordings, "Lullaby For Annihilation" in 2008, gaining great consideration from public, press and specialists throughout Europe, playing in the Italian peninsula even supporting some of their most loved bands ever. The first full-length album "Tales For A Sweet Demise" was released by Jetglow Recordings in 2010. Now the band is working hard on new songs for their second album that will be released in early 2014.
