Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | Audioteka | Modern and timeless are two words that might seem contradictory, but come in handy when attempting to draw up the span that defines this duo hailing from Krasnoyarsk, Russia. A common love for both vinyl records and the very most modern audio technology got DJ:s Vlad Antonenko (aka Dj Vitamin) and Eddi Shkiper to bring their machines and geniuses together to make music. Tones that echo of futuristic space beats amalgated with heartfelt Siberian melancholy. Or maybe minimal techno channeled through concrete halls, abandoned submarine bases and sound architecht audio labs. You choose. Although originally intended as a live performance project, hard drives soon filled up with deep and experimental audio so violently vivid it would've been a cardinal sin not release them. We can only rejoice in that this honor came upon Astor Bell.

Search | Add | 3 | Stephanie Brickey | Saint Louis, Missouri Stephanie Brickey: vocals. acoustic guitar, national guitar. Dave Brickey: bass and backing vocals. Gary Hunt: electric guitars, mandolin, dobro. Jack Petracek: drums. Successfully mixing modern folk lyricism with straight-ahead pop/rock arrangements and an Americana sensibility, Stephanie Brickey has come up with a distinct sound of her own. She calls on her diverse musical influences to embellish the traditional folk song and to keep the crowd moving with timeless, stand-out rock performances. Brickey has the ability to grind out a crowd-pleasing, high-octane rocker and then follow it with an irresistible lullaby so hauntingly beautiful it may leave you in tears. Brickey’s vocals complement the songs in a way that seems to accentuate the instrumental accompaniment rather than overshadow it, with a voice that’s somewhere between Margo Timmins and Linda Thompson. Brickey has been highly visible on the St. Louis music scene for some time performing as solo artist, as a member of SLIM (along with Lynn Reif and Mary Alice Wood) and as the frontperson for A Room Away. Stephanie Brickey’s sound is infectious and unique. Her songs are timeless, smart and alluring.

Search | Add | 3 | Nyambz | Inyambo Imenda | Audio Engineer, Producer, Composer & DJ born October 25th, 1985 in Lusaka, Zambia, relocating to South Africa in 1989, and based out of Pretoria, Gauteng. After winning the African Hip-Hop producer of the year, in 2004, at the tender age of 19, his influence in the South African Hip-Hop industry escalated to great heights, crafting 'classic' material for some of South Africa's top acts. Having worked with the likes of [a=Zubz], [a=Tumi], Optical Illusion, [a=Proverb], Prokid, [a=Rattex], [a=Damola], [a=Blaklez] and Ill-Literate-Skill just to name a few. He's also produced tracks for acts across the African Continent, and a host of international acts, including [a=Main Flow] from the legendary Cincinnati Hip Hop group [a=MOOD]. His strength lies in his ability to delve from genre to genre without losing the quality in music that he strongly stands for. In Addition to his commercial music production, he's also been known to score the occasional television add, with Castle Lager, and VW's City Golf as past clients. |

Martin was among the first mixers in Holland who used a PC and Cool Edit ™ software, and as the result of his innovations he is able to compile very stylish, suave and delightful mixes. Nicolas Ossorgin was the second son of [a3709299] (1887–1950), a former officer in the cuirassier regiment of the Empress and marshal of the Kaluga nobility, and Countess Helene Muravieva-Vilenskaya (1893–1968). On July 18, 1924 (on the day of the feast of the uncovering of the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh according to the Julian calendar), Michel Ossorgin, on behalf of Metropolitan Evlog, acquired from public auction on behalf of the Metropolitan, property at 93 Crime Street, in Paris. |

Search | Add | 3 | Pombajira | Formed in late 2017, POMBAJIRA was created by ex-Grave Desecrator Hellson Röcha. Soon enough, he roped in a drummer and also his old guitar-playing friend Blizzard. After a year of wasting time with this drummer, T. Splatter (Velho, Lápide, Poem's Death etc) took up the drum duties. Directly influenced by bands like Black Sabbath, Hellhammer, Venom, Pentagram, as well as others of a similar dark ilk. POMBAJIRA's moniker derives from their Afro-Brazilian cultural roots and serves as a foundation to flirt with the enigmatic spiritual imagery and sometimes superstitious atmosphere which is around them. In addition to their personal experiences, the band is influenced by magick, rebellion, sarcasm, and darkness. What results is uniquely POMBAJIRA, and what the band brand HEAVY ROCK INFERNO!

Search | Add | 3 | Off World Kick Death Squad | Dan Kandell, Michael Nine | Some random information about the Off World Kick Death Squad material. Written by Michael Nine. Off World Kick Death Squad was started with myself and Dan Kandell sometime in 1993 or 1994. He worked at a local record store and because of my obsessive record collecting and mail order trading we started talking. We decided to hang out a few times and that led to us doing improve sessions in his house out in the avenues of San Francisco. I used to go over 1 or 2 times a week and we would as they say jam together. We recorded a lot of material over a short period of time. Never really thinking about releasing anything. Just recording and trying to get better playing with each other. An opportunity arose to perform at a friends birthday at a warehouse in Oakland. That performance was recorded and is on the tape that was released. At the last minute before we started the deejay asked the band name and Dan told them our name was Demerol. I have no idea why he said this. I think the performance lasted around 13 minutes. We never played live again. I later agreed to to have tapes available for NEdS in Japan, and not wanting to ruin this relationship I released a tape called Arc Light. This must have been a bit after Death Squad had started. Dan and myself ran into some creative disagreements and our relationship was dissolved before the tape was finished. I had no access to any of the material we had recorded during our months of work. In the end the remaining material that was released on the tape were recordings that would be representative of Trucido or even Death Squad. It is difficult to remember the exact timeline of all of the events. But I do remember while recording with Dan that I had come up with the Trucido name. I had even created a homemade banner that could be hung from a table or placed on a wall for live shows. Ultimately it is hard to be correct and exact about origins of the other tracks on the tape. It could very well be Death Squad material, needing to fill up the remaining time on the tape to fulfill the promise to NEdS to fulfill their order. The origin of this projects name as well as the Death Squad name was from Blade Runner, I believe it was M. Emmet Walsh who said the line “Off World Kick Death Squad” when in fact he said Murder Squad. The Death Squad name was taken from this mis-quote. A kind of mis hearing of sorts. In taking part of the name in a way it was some sort of release from the previous project. I was able to move forward. This was definitely after Trucido. |

Search | Add | 3 | Gérard-Philippe Broutin | Gérard-Philippe Broutin, known as Broutin, is a French lettrist artist, born August 18, 1948 in Saint-Cloud. He has lived and worked in Berlin since 2010.. Broutin studied Art History at the University of Paris and the École du Louvre. Alongside other artists such as Maurice Lemaître, Roland Sabatier, Alain Satié, François Poyet or Jean-Pierre Gillard in particular, Broutin meets Isidore Isou in 1968 and from then on participates in most of the events and literary exhibitions of the lettrist movement. His first pictorial works were shown in March 1969, during the exhibition “Today Lettrism and Hypergraphy” at Galerie Stadler in Paris. The scattered elements that he proposes—lines of writing, hieroglyphic ideograms, empty compartments, precisely drawn—evolve towards the creation of a personal alphabet, made of notional signs, mainly animals and plants, which will be his particular mark.
