Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Cylo Carl | Cylo Carl | Cylo is an electronic music producer, live performer and DJ based in New York, amidst the enchanting environment of New York City where he absorbed the diverse Balearic music scene and culture from a young age, he started searching for his own musical language some years back while pursuing a sound engineering degree that allowed him to discover a technical approach to sound behaviours. This path led him toward expressing the subtleties of emotion, memory, and time through various aural explorations. As his exploration progressed through compositional, music production and live performance direction, he devoted his workflow to generative processes on the modular synthesizer. With this anachronistic yet futuristic instrument at his disposal, he feels he’s role to be a selfless conductor of the analog orchestra, losing any illusion of control — yet intuitively expressing and guiding a musical conversation. While the various forms of his work are predominantly auditory, ultimately they share a common trait: serving as a channel of communication between himself and the collaborators and audience who experience it. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Foneno | Foneno is a bluegrass street band from Florence, Italy. It was formed in 2012 by Federico Riondino (lead vocals, guitar and kazoo) and Ugo Nativi (drums, vocals). Often seen performing around the Santa Maria Novella station and Piazza dei Ciompi, the pair have been joined by guest musicians at various times. They have also performed in other Italian cities and internationally. As a prominent example of the growing street art scene in Florence for more than ten years, Foneno has been a longtime advocate for more flexible street performance regulations in the city, which they argue would allow for a greater diversity of street musicians in the city. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Sonz Of Sunz | Having a unique talent to spit poetry through the microphone to express their experiences, thoughts and take on life, the Filipino-Canadian group SONZ OF SUNZ pride themselves as being part of the growing Hip-Hop culture. The diverse duo, composed of M.I.C. ILL. and Chief Chucka's, aims to bring forth a new surge of music with positive messages while keeping Hip Hop as it was in the golden era…fun. Sonz of Sunz proves to be the epitome of the continuing growth of Hip Hop, demonstrating that the culture has stretched to all corners of the world. They provide a balance of positive urban Canadian upbringing as well as a respectful reflection of their cultural backgrounds. Constantly in the studio developing and producing music, the Mic Reach Records artists have also made their presence known by performing at various local Van City venues including opening for acts such as legendary Canadian rap pioneer Maestro Fresh Wes and Wu-Tang member Raekwon. Formerly a group of three, Sonz of Sunz formed when Filipino rappers, M.I.C. ILL and Chief Chucka, teamed up with Japanese MC, Mr. Rice, after meeting and working together at a Vancouver restaurant during the late 90's. After years of working together as a trio and shortly after releasing their debut album, “The New Breed” in June 2004, Mr. Rice made the hard decision to leave the group and pursue other interest. After careful introspection at the loss of their partner in rhyme, M.I.C. ILL and Chief Chucka made the decision to carry on with the group name and continue spreading their message through music. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Acero Negro | Acero Negro is considered the most iconic hard rock and 80's heavy metal style band from Lleida, settled in the western province of Catalonia, in Spain, since their early origins in 1986 until their last gig in November 2015. They were formed in the middle of 1985 after the guitar player Alberto Monsonís "Berto" left the band Lev3 to found the seminal Tealakian with Tomás Carmona (drums) and Agustín "Angus" Lara (bass). Soon, the singer Juan Yeste joined the band, also playing guitar and later on bass as soon as Lara left the already renamed Acero Negro. They become a quartet with quite a good projection around Catalonia and Aragon throughout their concerts around, until in 1992 they released their first demo "Acero Negro" with Diego Pelegrí (guitar) and Xaba Badía (drums). After some hiatus and lineup changes (Ramón Ramos, Oriol Cornet, Juan León, Carlos Capilla) in 2003 Acero Negro reunited as a quintet (with a new bass player, Josep Mª Lasierra "Lasi") and two years later they released their first studio album "20 Años y Muchas Noches Más", winning first prize in the Pepe Marín Rock contest and taking part in the national festival Senglar Rock 2005 edition. As opening band for other important groups such as Sepultura, Saxon, Gama Ray , Barón Rojo, Los Suaves, Soziedad Alkoholika or Su Ta Gar, Acero Negro have gained respect and consideration from other new and settled bands from Lleida. Their last record "Mi Motor" released in 2014 became also their final farewell when soon after a concert in Sala Oh Yeah they disbanded, with Yeste becoming a professional photographer full time, Lasi involving with the Mister Jones and Pelegrí leaving apart from music. Eventually, Montsonís joined the metal band Blindpoint. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Inquiry Last Scenery | It all started when the band formed in mid 2004, when the two of the members Fahmir and Hazree studying at the same college, BMI Insitute in Gombak. Originally, Fahmir and Hazree got along poorly. This lasted until they realized their collective creative capabilties, and forged a bond over their similar passion for writing melodies. Still yet, they try to spread more and more ideas but then realize they should have one more members to ensure the rythym fully complete.. Merely know in college, Hafiz is a less talk person but Hazree knows that he also able to share the same interest and abilities. Fahmir did asked Hazree about the new members and he's pointed that they can rely on Hafiz. Both of them was glad when Hafiz totally agreed with to their plan. On 2005, they became as they are and they called themself as Icarus Violent. In mid 2006, the dull has changed. They have their own new members. Although it's comfort for them in previously group, but they need to more concerntrate on the song writing. Early Known as friends in Myspace, Farhan expressed his commitment about this band. Glad by someone fill the vacancy and lighten their burden they form again the new named with a new spirit called Inquiry Last Scenery. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Heromo Deuce | Heromo Deuce does not define himself as an artist through his real identity but creates it through his music. His debut "Human Machine Love" is therefore the complex result of his passion for music of all kinds. Especially influences of synthpop at the beginning of the 80s as well as drum and bass, big beat and downbeat are unmistakable. Playing piano and classical guitar in his youth encouraged him to write his own songs early on. Right from the start, the focus was always on expressing his own emotions through melodies. After producing several artists and a long creative break, he released his first solo debut, a moving collection of tracks focusing on the current theme of human machine interaction. A new track was created in collaboration with PR8werk. The feeling of being a constant prisoner of time was the inspiration for it. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Tom Katz' Saxophone Band | While employed by J.C. Williamson’s as its Sydney Tivoli orchestra leader, Sam Babicci formed Tom Katz and His Saxophone Band. Dressed in bellboy uniforms and wearing blackface, the band made its debut on debut on 28 November 1927 with a highly energetic and humorous jazz performance. After some seven years touring various Australasian variety circuits and appearing in numerous radio broadcasts, Babicci took the band to Great Britain where it maintained a similar schedule (including European tours). After Babicci returned home the band continued under the leadership of Ted Case before splitting into two separate ensembles in 1936 – the Kit Kat Saxophone Rascals and Tom Katz Saxophone Six (with four English musicians). Tom Katz and His Saxophone Band feature in a 1934 Cinesound Varieties film. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | WhiteFlag Project | An appearance at the Montreux Jazz Festival is usually a special moment in the life of any band. But when you are a group of musicians from Israel and the Palestinian territories who haven’t seen, let alone played with each other for five years then it takes on an even deeper significance. White Flag, a mix of five Israelis and four Palestinians, are a "band in exile". After forming in 1999 they played around 20 gigs in Israel before the outbreak of the second intifada the following year scattered members to the four winds. A couple ended up in the United States, one came to Switzerland, while two others were trapped in the Gaza Strip. But five years on, thanks to the dogged persistence of a Swiss television editor and the pulling of several diplomatic strings, the band have reunited in Switzerland. "This is our first meeting in five years, since the start of the second intifada," band member Zaher Abdu Aljawad told swissinfo. "I never thought we would meet again – and when we did it was magical, like a dream." The band arrived in Lucerne at the beginning of May following an invitation from the city’s mayor Urs Studer, and this week they played two nights at Montreux. During their stay in Switzerland they have recorded their first CD, entitled: White Flag – a Band in Exile. But the whole project, which has been financed by the city of Lucerne plus various Swiss and international foundations, has not been without its problems. "It was really difficult getting them together for two reasons," said Urban Frye, who works as an editor and producer in the music department at Swiss-German television. "The first is that every time you mention the word 'Palestinian’, people are immediately suspicious about giving a visa. In the end I rang the mayor of Lucerne, who is an old friend, and he came up with the idea of inviting the whole band which opened a lot of doors. "The second is that two of the musicians come from the Gaza Strip and they were afraid of what might happen to their families once it got out that they were being paid to travel to Switzerland to play with Israeli musicians. I had to put pressure on the Swiss mission in Ramallah to contact the Palestinian minister for culture to get official approval." The politics of the Middle East are never far away from the band. When swissinfo turned up in Montreux, percussionist Katja Cooper and vocalist Yasin Almallahi were discussing Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza, which is scheduled to take place next month. There has even been talk that the band and their Middle East street-fusion sound could become a musical face for the peace process – an example of Israelis and Palestinians living and playing together side by side. Switzerland, which helped to launch an unofficial peace accord for the Middle East known as the Geneva Initiative in December 2003, has been providing "logistical and organisational support" for the band. But Ivo Sieber, a spokesman for the Swiss foreign ministry, insisted that it was up to Israeli and Palestinian partners to decide whether White Flag could play a role in promoting the accord. While the band go to great pains to stress that they are first and foremost a group of artists who just want to play music, they are fully aware of the growing interest from outside parties. "As long as we can play the music the way we want to play it and don’t have to shout politics, it would be nice to represent the Palestinians and the Israelis," said Cooper, who now lives in San Francisco. "We’re an example of what’s possible – that your nationality and ethnic background don’t matter. There are so many things that people have in common and it’s just getting distorted by politics and who owns what land. The world doesn’t have to be that complicated." The ultimate goal of the band is to be able to play together once again in Israel and if possible in the Palestinian territories. Frye believes the main obstacle to this lies with the Israeli Defence Force, which would have to authorise the Israeli musicians to enter the occupied territories and the Palestinians to travel in the opposite direction. Yasin, who left his newborn baby in Gaza to come to Switzerland, is undaunted. He subscribes to the view that "where there’s a will, there’s a way". "Peace has to come from both sides – Israeli and Palestinian – and there has to be will and understanding on both sides," he said. "If we succeed with our CD and our music and get a little more famous then it could become easier for us to travel around. There are people in the occupied territories and Israel who think what we’re doing is a good thing. "We are just musicians and we should be able to play anywhere. We shouldn’t be in exile." “A veces me dicen esa voz yo la he escuchado. |

| Search | Add | 3 | swwwarm | Darko Vukić | Darko Vukić, Serbia-born and Vienna-based, is a sonic practitioner working as sava zolog, kraftt ebbingg, and more. Its work explores experimental electronica, deep drone, and psychoacoustic minimalism with a focus on speculative, process-driven sound art. Emerging from the post-Yugoslav zone of sonic unmaking, Vukic’s practice draws on a fractured memoryscape where personal mythology, noise poetics, and soft circuitry converge. As sava zolog, it explores digital ephemera, cut-up affect, and sensorial glitch. Under the kraftt ebbingg moniker, the focus shifts toward ritualistic soundscapes and dark ambient narrative sequences that resemble sonic exorcisms—somatic and archival. Its compositions often unfold like anti-architectures, favoring entropy over form and vibration over harmony. Released through underground labels and performed in hybrid venues, Vukic’s output resonates across both club and gallery contexts—never fully settling into either. Darko is also active in research-led projects connecting sound with speculative theory, body politics, and machine ritualism. It frequently collaborates with visual artists, dancers, and AI systems, invoking modular improvisation as a generative tool for disorientation. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Anima Corpus | Once upon a time there were five of us. The youth and nonconformity gave birth to “The Dirge”. For two years we had been playing black-doom metal. That lasted till the passion for classical instruments which was rooted since the childhood, come to the front, thus substituting pathos and outrageous behavior. It is then when we came up with “Usypalnitsa Duha” (eng. “Spirit Shrine”), and there became seven of us. By adding three other guests, we recorded a gothic album like we imagined it to be then. The way we were feeling it. Taking the opportunity, we remembered our native language, and sang in it. After that was the period of wandering, storming and winding – no use in talking about them. Now here are two of us. Today we are “Anima Corpus" (Latin for “Spirit Shrine“). The understanding to change the name occurred while making a new album. All the more so this new material can hardly be called logical development of the previous project. One thing is for certain – we did not betray ourselves and have recorded the very essence of our internal experience, disguising it in florid garments of notes and words. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Monoss | Mathias Staab | Monoss is a trance music project by Mathias Staab, started in 2003. Mathias was born in 1983 and raised in the small town of Hettstedt in Germany. He’s now living in Leipzig. Mathias is a follower of electronic dance music since the early 90s, listened to euro dance music acts like „2 Unlimited“ and genres like 90s rave. Later in his adolescence he took notice of the trance music genre and preffered artists like ATB, Chicane or Ferry Corsten and listened to music from the legendary Love Parade and Dream Dance compilations. In this time he also started to play around with sample based music software on his PC and shared music online with people in communities full of electronic music freaks. Talking about music production and sharing music with these communities in the year 2000 he came in touch with Fruity Loops, now better known as FL Studio. In the following years Mathias pushed his music in communities like „mp3.de“ or „myownmusic.de“ and in social networks like MySpace. So he came in contact with more upcoming artists and also a few indie labels all across the globe. As a result he had his first releases in this time (Awaiting Sunrise, Invisible Signs and more). As time went by Mathias had to reduce frequency of putting out new stuff, but he still tries to take his time and create new tracks. In 2021 he started to work on a new album. With the beginning of 2023 Mathias decided to release new tracks again under his alias „Monoss“ and his joint venture „com:bined“ (with Lonesome Walker) on multiple platforms and social media channels. |

With influences ranging from the likes of Cursive, Teenage Fanclub, Shipping News, Hum, Cap’n Jazz and several others, it comes as no surprise that this enormous collective bring their own unique spin to mathematically dynamic indie rock. No surface is left untouched as the group expands on the songwriting of frontman Clair Morgan with a variety of auxiliary instrumentation, smooth harmonies, complex interlaced guitars and syncopated rhythms. All of this combined leads to a unique live experience that can only best be described as a tiny orchestra playing catchy rock tunes. | |
