Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 3 | The End Tree | The End Tree is the Vancouver-based collaborative songwriting project of Elliot Vaughan (Viola/Voice) and Martin Reisle (Cello/Voice). A unique brand of hallucinatory, melodramatic chamber-pop. Songs for strange and beautiful margins; intense, absurd, soft, playful, intricate. Something like if Béla Bartók ran the Dirty Projectors as a string and vocal duet.

Search | Add | 3 | Insane Macbeth | Keith Rodgers | Insane Macbeth started getting into production in 1988, it took a number of years to perfect his craft and in 1991, he produced 'Borderin' Insanity' for Kinetic Effect (whilst Kinetic Effect was still in 2 The Top). 'Borderin' was the last recording at Cold Storage Studio (where MC Mell 'O', and London Posse recorded material). Tim Westwood played 'Borderin' while it was on a tape, when he was at Capital Radio. It was officially released in 1993 on Insane Macbeth's own imprint, Insane Recordings. In 1995 he recorded 'Man Bites Dog'/ 'The Effect Of Fear' with Kinetic Effect. Moving away from the battle mentality, Kinetic Effect & Insane Macbeth wanted to explore more abstract concepts, with beats that were more like soundscapes! These two tracks were released in 1997 (whilst Insane Macbeth was at university, studying a philosophy degree). There are only 500 copies available of this single, these two tracks act as a precurser to the trip-hop & break-beat movement. In 1999, he started recording his album, tentatively called 'The "Retardation" Project'. Wishing to gain a more accessible sound (without moving away from what The Icepick called, "his dungeon sound"!), he completed 14 cuts. The album included Kinetic Effect, The 'Legendary' Icepick, Huntkillbury Finn, Grizzly, Shaka Shazzam, Crazy Noddy, and a protege of Insane Macbeth's called Ripper. There are only 100 white label copies of this album around. He died on May 8th, 2016 from complications due to deteriorating health following a long battle with leukemia. |

Search | Add | 3 | Alberto La Tassa | Alberto Costantino La Tassa | Artist from Italy. Born in 1986, Alberto La Tassa is an Italian artist issued from a family engaged with the arts since 1820. La Tassa started practicing on different disciplines from early childhood. After obtaining his diploma in Padova, he moved to Venice, where he still lives and works, graduating with first class honors at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. Eclectic and multifaceted, the artist explores and controls with graceful and powerful technique different forms of art: painting, sculpture, graphic and jewelry design . He paints and creates art with a perfect mastery of the artistic languages, showing a complex and interesting range of techniques, from painting and drawing to sculpture and engraving. Observing his works, you have the “impression of being in front of an expert who draws inspiration from the masterpieces of the ancient times”.Classic gestures and “maniere” coexist with a modern and eccentric extravaganza, reflected in all the aspects of this dandy’s art and life style. Byzantine and Venetians fragments of colors, Baroque architectures, surrealistic dreams and hyperrealistic details: they all share the same canvases and stand out in front of the observer. This is a golden world populated by extravagant figures: emperors and queens, hermaphrodites and freaks, Mars and Venus. They are in constant conflict and attraction: the climax is a fusion of masculine and feminine, black and white, opulence and emptiness. A refined erotism shows through his works: “provoked desires and passion, are whispered in the ear of a lover as if they were words that become languidly colors”. “Naked statuesque bodies are perfectly refined, you can almost hear the rustle of silken fabrics, bucolic or unreal landscapes return to us as famous mythological scenes”. Looking through these art works it is visible that what inspires La Tassa could be defined as a collage of experiences: memories, desires, fantasies and undefined erotic suggestions. These aspects impose, repulse and blend to each other, creating a new perfectly balanced oneiric dimension. What is always present and characterizes La Tassa’s paintings is the constant research of pure beauty. This is not just an element of his production, but it is the key to understand the whole work itself: beauty as a shocking experience for the spectator, and the artist at the same time. His art is an ideal place, full of references from a personal past and present, that can be seen and shared as universal. Contemplating La Tassa’s works you can perceive the feeling of being accepted in an intimate space, made of lights and shadows, usually reserved for the artist only. |

My Inspiration to live my dream, came from a guy I met at church in 2019 who had a knowledge of Video Creation. This made me see the Bigger Picture of giving my Music a Visual representation on YouTube. |

Search | Add | 3 | Minus. | Minus is a sign of the changing times... And their time is now. Minus will not be ignored. After spending the last couple years gigging endlessly throughout New England, the boys have developed a style all their own, best displayed on their new EP "Care Factor: Zero." Tracks like, "Idiot Me" and "Relapse" stand out as very well written tunes that play over and over again in your head. Minus's single, "First Stone Cast" has been receiving consistent college air-play and the band has been recognized by major radio stations as a front-runner in the area's music scene. Minus has shared the stage with many of the biggest metal bands to grace the East Coast. The list of bands reads like a major tour, with such names as Massachusetts's newest upstarts Reveille (Elektra), New York's hard-core kings, Biohazard (Mercury.) and OzzFest '99 performers like Drain STH (Mercury), Static X (Atlantic), and Puya (MCA). Minus has been described by C.M.J. Magazine as a ".post-apocalyptic groove-core motherf#@ker." and by The New Haven Advocate as ".melodically charged, intensely emotional hard-core." Minus's style appeals to a diverse crowd, as fans of all ages faithfully show their support. To say they take control of a crowd would be a harsh understatement. The energy that pours out of Minus is intense and has to be witnessed to truly be appreciated. Whether you like music that kicks your ass with immediate hard-core abandon, or trippy grooves that drench your mind like an infectious resin, Minus will deliver.

Search | Add | 3 | Havenfield | 2015 - 2018 Havenfield was a five-piece group from Purchase, NY. Blending saturated distortion with ambient and reverberant textures, the band creates an atmosphere of duality and unrest. Havenfield’s debut EP, Stare was self- produced and released in February 2015. Even in the band’s infancy, they have already received reviews from Property of Zack, been featured on various benefit compilations and amassed over 6k views on their music video, “Tangle”, off their most recent release, Color.
