These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

With no genre targets, the music produced for One Cent Left varies greatly in style. At present, there are at least 3 albums worth of songs awaiting being completed, and new songs being written for a 4th album. Given that it's been over 15 years since writing and recording began, a collection of demos have been released simply to establish the works without further delay. "[r=13209054]" was released on February 11th, 2019 as an introduction to One Cent Left, showcasing the newest to oldest completed demos. | |

He studies for a very short period in Amsterdam where he had the chance to take lessons from Lucas Van Merwijk, Maurcel Serierse and Victor Oskam. He has also studied jazz harmony with Gregory Batsis and holds a degree in harmony (2009) and a degree in counterpoint(2012). He has attended clinics an private lessons with giants like Adam Nussbaum, Kendrick Scott, Jojo Mayer and Akira Jimbo. Within the years he has collaborated with great local jazz musicians such as Yiotis Samaras, George Kontrafouris, Pantelis Mpenetatos, Takis Paterelis, Kostas Konstantinou, Dimitris Sevdalis and Vasso Dimitriou as well as some foreign artists like Femi Temowo(Roots,Amy Winehouse), Michael Weisberger(Milo Z), Aline de Lima, Adedeji Adetayo, Yoel Soto. He has also collaborated with Foivos Delivorias, Martha Fritzila , Petros Theotokatos and Doros Dimosthenous. He currently lives in Athens, where he is envolved in lots of projects, gigging, recording and teaching. |

Peterson was the choir's conductor until the spring of 2009, when he led a farewell concert in Floda Church, where he previously worked as a cantor. Since its inception, Katrineholm's chamber choir has had a mixed sacred and profane repertoire - from the 16th century onwards. The chorus has taken inspiration from Eric Ericson. In 1986, Katrineholm's chamber choir was named Choir of the Year at the choir meeting in Skinnskatteberg. Prior to that, in 1982 the first prize had been shared at a driving competition in Debrecen, Hungary. The choir has toured in several European countries. One of the choir's major performances at home in Katrineholm was when they together with the Music Society in Katrineholm - now Katrineholm Symphony Orchestra - performed Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson's musical Chess in the autumn of 1990. Among other major performances are Joseph Haydns Skapelsen and Johann Sebastian Bachs Johannespassionen. A regularly recurring tradition is an Advent and Christmas concert - for theological reasons now called Advent vespers - in Nävertorp's church, Katrineholm. Since 1979, Katrineholm's Chamber Choir has released four LPs and a cassette tape with Christmas carols. All four LPs have a tree trunk with linden leaves by Katrineholm artist Calle Jonzon (died 2008) on the cover. Ingemar Peterson has also been conductor of Katrineholm's men's choir, Floda church choir and Nävertorp's church choir. He has also been chairman of Katrineholm's chamber music association. | |

Spontaneous & driving, armed with Rodrigo Falcao's accomplished samba influenced rock-dance rythyms, threaded with Damon Morris's quasi-electronic sounding yet completely organic melodic elements, the duo strode bravely into unknown territory. The 6-song EP "You don't Have To" is a perfect cross-section of their audacity. Sink or Swim's Disco party sing-along slides gradually into evil stoner-rock psychadelic meltdown, like an inevitable comedown from a stratospheric high. The opening track "Relative Escape" blends minimalist looping with ethereal vocal harmonies, before catapulting into a stomping apocalyptic rock theme. Another track "Doubletime", is a 2.5 minute (completely improv) 70's power-psych jam, utilizing a loop from a different song, played at 2X the speed. The EP captures perfectly the "anything goes, & everything counts" improvisational spirit of the band, simultaneously admitting vulnerability & skyrocketing imperviously into the wilds of outer space! After pushing the potential of live looping near-to the limit, & being in exclusive musical isolation for a year, the boys began slowly taking on outside involvements again. The living process dictated a period of cultivation & outside energy. 5 shows in a row, were performed with unique lineup & material each time! This was highly exhausting, but fruitful. The new sound is deeper, & wider, bringing in chorale, folk, classical, & other influences, yet retains all the bombastic energy of the original Duo. The new members are: Alissa Raya, bringing her skills as a drummer (Organ Trail) to the rythmic bass pulses, has replaced the loops & freed the band from the linear process they required. She is also blessed with an amazing strong voice, that picks you up gently but carries you roughly all the way down to the soul south. Monashee Sun, on violin, (& yamaha portatone!) adding her accomplished fiddle trills along with a highly developed sensitivity to dynamics & detail, not to mention her high-alto range otherworldy harmonies. Anju Singh, on Cello, as the "5th member". She's busy with bands, (I/I, Greyscales, & National Shield) that take her partially away from IALT, But her skills as an improviser, experimenter, & L.earn I.t Y.ourself classical musician makes her the perfect addition to the Living layer cake of sound. |

Faye was known as a singer, song writer and Christian evangelist. She had a deep passion for ministering to the broken hearted and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through her music ministry, and any other means the Lord presented her. She was full of spunk and funny too, yet very serious about her love for the Lord. She recorded six albums in Nashville that were full of music that presented important biblical truths. To Faye the focal part of a song was the message. For this reason, she would often write her own songs in order to proclaim a message that was very personal to her. Although she had the pleasure of working with many notable Christian speakers and ministries across the country, she thoroughly enjoyed every opportunity to sing the national anthem for the San Antonio Spurs, the San Antonio Missions and many other venues. She received a number of awards over the years for her singing and song writing and performed at numerous venues across the country, and several international venues as well. There were also a number of opportunities on various TV and radio programs. In her book, “Thank You for the Valley,” she tells a personal story of triumph when life’s journey took her where she didn’t want to go and is based on the experience of raising April, her Down’s syndrome daughter. Faye also authored and presented a Christian conference entitled “Hope Beyond Imagination”, where she spoke on how to maintain your hope and joy regardless of life’s circumstances. But, above all else, she was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. Iona “Faye” Yates, a resident of New Braunfels, Texas, was relieved of her long struggle with Alzheimer’s when she passed away late Christmas night, December 25, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family, just 3 days before her 71st birthday. |

At the end of 1973, the group [b]Los Génesis[/b] was formed in Rioja under the direction of [b]Pedro Rojas[/b] (second guitar) with [b]Walter Paima[/b] (bass), [b]Charlemagne Díaz[/b] (drums), [b]Hernán Ortiz[/b] (tumbas) and [b]Juan Díaz Salazar[/b] (vocals). Since they needed a first guitar and composer, they went to Moyobamba to incorporate Leonardo, who was replaced in Los Duendes by [b]Crox Alvarado[/b]. In the mid-seventies they go to Lima to record their first full length for the label [l590237] but they can't record as Los Génesis because there was already another band with that name, so they changed to [b]Siglo XX[/b]. After the group disbanded, Leonardo and Pedro Rojas moved to Moyobamba and incorporated musicians [b]Alejandro Angulo[/b] (timbales), [b]Alfonso Mori[/b] (bass), [b]Víctor Villacorta[/b] (tumbas) and [b]Walter Arévalo[/b] (voice). On this trip to Lima, the owner of the Volcán invites Leonardo to stay and work at the record company but the job in the record company does not satisfy him and so he returns to Moyobamba to join the [b]Grupo Arco Iris[/b] by [b]Javier Puerta[/b] with [b]Jorge del Águila[/b] (bass), [b]Alejandro Angulo[/b] (timbales), [b]Víctor Villacorta[/b] (tumbas) , [b]Ernesto Ríos[/b] (vocals) and [b]Walter Arévalo[/b] (vocals). Towards the end of the 1970s [b]Jorge Franco Prado[/b] contacted Leonardo to relaunch the Lima group [b]Los Reales del Perú[/b] with musicians from Lima and Moyobamba: [b]Alfonso Rojas[/b] (first and second guitar), [b]Jorge del Águila[/b] (bass), [b]Guillermo Alvarado[/b] (timpani) and [b]Eduardo Vizconde[/b] (vocals). In 1980 Leonardo went alone to Lima and recorded two small albums with his own compositions for the label [l1799240]. For these productions he takes the name of [b]Los Reales de Moyobamba[/b], even if the truth is that he was the only one present and the label completed the group with local musicians. After this, Leonardo is encouraged to form his own group, for this he leaves Los Reales, where Alfonso Rojas permanently takes on the first guitar and the task of composing, Guillermo Alvarado leaves to form the [b]Grupo Atlantic[/b]. In the early eighties Leonardo recorded his first opera as [b]Sonido Verde de Moyobamba[/b], the group incorporates [b]Carlos Córdova[/b] (second guitar), [b]Leoncio Vásquez[/b] (bass), [b]Marcial Rojas[/b] (timbales) and [b]Abner Carbajal[/b] (singer), the latter two from [b]Los Rangers de Moyobamba[/b]. |

O'Brien grew up in Des Moines, IA, and worked at KBAB in Indianola. He started in 1969 at KUDL (now KMBZ-FM) in Kansas City. During the ensuing years, he worked for many stations, including KTLK in Denver, WCAR in Detroit, WQXI in Atlanta, WCFL (now WMVP) in Chicago, WOKY in Milwaukee, WFIL in Philadelphia, KFI and KIIS in Los Angeles, KWK (now WARH) in St. Louis (where he stayed for nine years), KZDG in Denver, WYXR (which became WLCE during his tenure and is now WRFF) in Philadelphia, WNBC (now WFAN) and WXLO (now WEPN-FM) in New York, WPGC in Washington, D.C., and WRKO in Boston. WOGL, also in Philadelphia, was his employer for the final six years of his life, and he had recently signed a two-year contract extension. Big Ron had been the host of the syndicated Westwood One radio program "On the Radio" from 1985 until 1992. O'Brien also enjoyed singing. He recorded cover versions of "Everybody Knows Matilda" (D. Baxter) and "Take Some Time Out" (T. Kemp and R. Gordy), both of which were released on 45. In addition to music and radio, Big Ron loved trolley cars and baseball. O'Brien died of complications from pneumonia after a two-month illness.[2] |
