Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 4 | A Dozen Dying Roses | In these increasingly violent times, heavy music has become just as brutal. A Dozen Dying Roses are the emotion of today’s youth. Formed in 2004 from the ashes of numerous fallen bands, ADDR has risen. Through passion, conviction, and pure hostility towards the society that has been built around them, like many great sounds, sorrow and hope are the catalyst. Like most bands the age of its members plays a part in the how the songwriting is influenced. ADDR ranges in age from 19 to 29. This makes for an interesting mix of old school hardcore and metal traditions, and modern day melodies and ideals. Basically it’s metal as haunting as the Swedish innovators, with breakdowns that rival the heaviest hitters of today. With 2 successful demos under there arm ADDR are ready for bigger and better things. Through dedication this band has become a force in there scene and are growing in popularity with every venture made from there home in Staten Island, NY.

Search | Add | 4 | Tjuva | Sweden EDM act, formed by Emmy Altemyr and Jasmina Mujcinovic. Meet the newest female duo that’s turning heads in dance music: Tjuva. Although freshly established on Facebook and Soundcloud, these girls have been working hard together since Tjuva’s inception nearly two years ago. Both members, Emmy Altemyr and Jasmina Mujcinovic, were on the solo DJ career path when they first met. Attending a production course in Ibiza back in 2012, Emmy and Jasmina connected instantly after meeting; and soon the girls decided to join forces and fulfill their dreams of producing their own dance music. Now back in Sweden, the collective work of Tjuva is alive and the duo is ready to release their first original track, entitled Euphony, on October 8th. Check out the preview video to Euphony below! On top of putting in the major studio time, these two are keeping their momentum alive by playing gigs all over Sweden including the upcoming Life In Color in Umea. The lineup holds a spot for Tjuva alongside big names including Adrian Lux, Sebjak, Rebecca & Fiona and more. Their debut track Euphony is set to release on Link Music, a branch of Sony, setting these girls up for success – so long as they stay true to their vision and continue to develop their unique style. Keep your eyes on these two; with the rarity and increasing demand of solid females behind the decks, Tjuva could potentially be the next female mainstay in electronic dance music. Search | Add | 4 | Reach Da Reapa | Reach Da Reapa (United Kingdom) got into hip hop in the early electro days around 1983 and started rhyming in 1986 before moving into DJing and production in about 1988. In 1990 he formed the hardcore hip hop crew Manslaughter 666 who went on to release a couple of tracks in 1991 on the ‘Ruff Kut’ album before breaking up shortly after. From there he went on to become a vocalist in the crew Drunken Eejit from 1992 to 1996 and recorded a large number of unreleased demos until the crew disbanded. After a long break from making music of any kind, Reach reunited with Drunken Eejit as lead vocalist in 2007 and at the start of 2010 they released the ‘Under The Influence’ album. In 2009 Reach also began work on a remix project with Norwegian producer Damien which resulted in the 2010 release of the album ‘Disturbed Visions’ as well as the formation of the crew Utter Nutters.

Search | Add | 4 | Ruth Rodeheaver | American soprano, born January 13, 1898 in Jellicoe, Tennessee; died February 7, 1979 in Winona Lake, Indiana. Ruth Rodeheaver was a younger sister of singer and gospel music publisher Homer Rodeheaver. Growing up in Jellicoe, she was best friends with another aspiring soprano, Grace Moore, and both were enamored of soprano Amelita Galli-Curci, who often sang as a featured performer in religious revival meetings. Ruth made her first recordings in the form of test records made at Victor in June 1920, but all were rejected, and her recording debut was on the first release of her broher Homer Rodeheaver's Rainbow Records label singing "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," though she was not credited. She continued to record for Rainbow and Gennett through 1925 while attending to voice lessons in New York City; Grace Moore was her roomate there. In 1926, Ruth returned to Winona Lake and married Jim Thomas, the manager of the Rodeheaver Company's manufacturing plant. For some time in the 1930s, she was estranged from her husband, moving to Florida where she taught music to elementary school children and hosted a radio show. However, the couple eventually reconciled. After Grace Moore's death in an airplane crash in 1947, Ruth Rodeheaver resumed recording under her married name of Ruth Rodeheaver Thomas with her brother's revitalized Rainbow label. Her last commerical recordings were made for International Sacred in 1955, though still later ones exist on tape at the Winona History Center in Winona Lake, Indiana.

DIY

Search | Add | 4 | Lynchpin. | Raw and heavy melodic hardcore with some metal influenced guitar work and breakdowns. Four out of five being teenagers in high school when they formed in 1994. They were blessed with grown adult friend and weirdo vocalist Joe Bonomo having laid down some DC and Pittsburgh roots by moving there permanently, and unlike any RI based hardcore bands at the time spent most of their lifespan on short tours of the east coast and Midwest, playing routinely in New Bedford as opposed to Providence. They made friendships in those days that still last today, and gathered a following in the Midwes, DC, Florida, but made their strongest friendships at that time in New Bedford. They were lucky enough to be thrown on shows with bands like Battery, Good Clean Fun, Brothers Keeper, Camber, Ink and Dagger, Grade, Jeromes Dream, Unearth, Jazz June, Anasarca (with whom they shared members with for ONE show in DC), Midcarson July, Converge, Bane, Roswell, 7th Card Down, Bastian, Forcefedglass, Inkwell, Pensive, Frodus, Spazz and Zao between 95-1999, when they broke up to pursue post-hardcore projects Bradford Ave and The Tragic Formula. Their first show was opening up for Earth Crisis, Thermos, and Pennies from Heaven in 1995 at the Living Room in Providence; when most members were just 14 years old. Ostracized from Rhode Island’s often violent and slow chug tough guy scene at the time, their heart’s home was always in New Bedford. The exposure they had to hardcore scenes and bands across the United States dwarfed any RI band at the time. They became very tight with lifelong close friends from the Warwick, RI and New Bedford crews, and remain so to this day. XBEAUTYDIESX!

Search | Add | 4 | Thomas Näfe | Thomas Näfe | Born 1968 in Darmstadt (Germany) and electronic native since the early eighties at the age of 13. I have chosen the synonym "the artist formerly unknown" because I prefer the unknown part in the background of my projects. I have started in the mid 80s to produce electronic music in many projects with various singers or solo. With singer Dirk, I started the first project "Perspex Hearts in the Fog" (PHF) in 1985. The name was inspired by OMD, but the music was more experimental. I programmed some tracks on a Commodore 64 with the software "Sound Monitor" and an early C64 sample-module. The result were some very low quality synthpop-tracks trying to sound like a mixture of "art of noise", "the human league" and "omd". Maybe I will upload some of the funny tracks in near future... With singer Manfred I started "Delete Delete" in 1987. Influenced by hard industrial and EBM stuff (Klinik, aGrumh, Skinny Puppy, Throbbing Gristle, Non, Current 93, Severed Heads) and some pop heroes (OMD, Depeche Mode, Human League, New Order). We have tried to combine these influences using some nice gadgets: Korg MS20, Korg PolySix, Korg CR8000, Roland CSQ600, Roland MC202, Roland TB303, Roland TR626 and some digital devices Korg DDD1, Casio CZ101, Casio SK1, Casio SK5, Korg Poly800, Commodore Amiga 500. We released 2 Tapes in 1988 and performed some strange live gigs. In 1989 keyboarder Axel joined "Delete Delete" and we switched to be more catchy. Before the third tape was ready and maybe a record-deal was signed, we split because of musical differences. Between 1990 and 1995 I wrote a lot of pop songs using my PolySix, Korg DDD1 and the brandnew Roland JD800 sequenced by KMS on an Amiga 500. Some of these tracks were used later for "Commercial" and "The artist formerly unknown". With singer Kai I started "Banality" in 1996. We produced a demo-cd "demonstration" in 1996 which we tried to "sell" in London. We walked from door to door of nearly all London based labels, but without any success. The classical 80s synthpop was not very popular in 1996, so we were refused. Later that year we renamed the project to "commercial" and decided to sound more "90s". We released the mini-album "Concepts" (500 copies) and shipped 90 copies to various labels again. The feedback was frustrating: "The vocals are too 80s and the sound is not compatible to chart productions". We tried to produce a "hit" and released the single-cd "forever" in 1998. The refrain was sung by female vocalist "Antonia" to get more "90s". The Track was no 1 in the local Radio-Charts and No 2 in the year 1998. But no label was interested. In 1998 we produced some more tracks and performed some Gigs, but without any success we stopped producing songs together. My SetUp this time: Roland JD800, Korg PolySix, Roland JX3P, Roland JX8P, Boss Dr550, Kurzweil MicroPiano, Moog Prodigy, Roland Orchestra Module OC1, Deep Bass 9, Roland JP8000, Akai S2000, Waldorf PulsePlus, Roland S330 and various effects. Since 1995 I switched to Cubase on a MAC for sequencing. From now on, I recorded some demotracks with various vocalists and I produced many instrumental tracks as "The artist formerly unknown". First I wanted to produce Trance, but soon I decided to ignore all genres and I produced melodic, danceable, instrumental, electronic music. Somewhere between trance, ambient, synthpop and soundtracks. In 2000 I switched from Cubase to Logic for sequencing and additional to the commercial-setup I began to use virtual instruments. Today I use virtual instruments only, cause I sold all equipment somme years ago to pay some bills :-) Actually, I am looking for a singer (m/f) to continue writing electronic popmusic. |

Search | Add | 4 | Carolina Fasulo | Carolina María Fasulo Kemper | Carola was an exceptional singer, she gave life to each song she performed, vocalizing both strong and subtle songs equally well. She told [a1227150] her story in a 1996 interview: “I always sang, since I was little. The first thing I did was study Spanish dances, play the castanets and hit the shoes while dancing. I loved rock n´roll, which at that time was a half forbidden thing. " Then Carola discovered what it was to compose songs "in a rocker sense", in her own words. “The two composers that influenced me the most were [a1263448] and [a1006851]. Precisely, everything I did in Damas Negras has to do with that poetics. And is that Carola was not improvised, in addition to composing beautiful lyrics, had a great formal musical training and knew how to play the guitar. He also had the possibility of working side by side with an extremely talented musician like [a1678587], who officiated as an arranger, companion and musical director. In 1973, through the Harvest label, Carola published a single with the songs "The Night Journey" and "Eva estirpe terrena" accompanied by [a945590]. That same year he recorded in the Phonalex studios what would be his only solo album: Damas Negras. Published through the Talent label, which was currently directed by [a516809]. Also, the album featured the participation of various musicians such as [a1539219], [a1750869], [a6170712], [a2298016], [a1006850], among others. |

Occasionally Lou would sing with a young group founded, in high school, called the Valiants.
