Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 5 | St. Dennis Male Voice Choir | History of St.Dennis Male Voice Choir by Arnold Best The Choir was formed 1922. The Musical Director was Mr. M. Kessell, he had a boot and shoe repair shop at the bottom of Robartes Rd. One evening he called three or four of us together and we met in his shop, and suggested forming a Choir if enough men could be got together. Each of us promised we would try and create some interest by contacting friends, and others and report to Mr. Kessell the results. Mr. Kessell arranged for a meeting at a Mr. Henwood's Cafe which was at the entrance of Robartes Rd. There were between twenty or thirty men who came; all were interested that a choir should be formed and a choir was born. A Mr. August Greenslade was the pianist/ organist. A. Best was Hon. Sec. and Mr. P. Williams was Treas. Mr.Greenslade later went to Canada, and a Mr. R. Roberts took his job as organist. The choir had thirty-six members and after a time, began to take engagements around the district at various churches. Items were from the "Male Voice Sankey Book" then after a time they included in the programme "Comrades of Hope", "Newquay Fishermen Song", "In Absence, Evening", "Pastoral" etc. Each member used to pay ld or 2d a practice for use of room and music. Practice was Sunday morning from 10.30a.m to 12a.m. Mr. D.W. Giles took over the organ after Mr. R. Roberts owing to ill health. Mr. Kessell had to give up leading the Choir, which broke un for a time. Capt. Hedley Martin reformed it and the Choir went on for a few years, and began going to various Music Festivals, the first attempt was at Delabole, and they were awarded 1st prize. Mr. Melville Coombe became organist under Capt. Martin. The Choir gave their first Radio programme under H. Martin with St. Dennis Band at Foster Hall, Bodmin; it was called "St. Dennis Night". The 1939/1945, war came and the Choir broke up as members were called away. Mr. Stanley Treloar restarted the Choir after the war, he in turn, handed the Choir to his son Harold, Margaret Treloar was pianist. Under Harold the Choir again went on Radio and T.V. Harold went to Canada for a number of years. During his absence, the Choir had various Mus. Directors, among them Mr. A. E. Baker. Under him the Choir won at different Festivals, won the championship of West of England twice at Bournemouth. When he left the county a Mr. Harrison took over, then Mr. R. Polmounter, then Mr. L. Stanaway, Harold came home again and took the Choir and he is the present Musical Director. The Choir has become very popular, numerous concerts are given in the County and outside. Most members are drawn from outside of the village now. In 1975 the Choir made a record "in The Male Voice Mood" with guest soloist Jean Camps (contralto). Already over 3,006 copies have been sold. In 1976 the choir went to Wales and at the International Eisteddfodd at Llangollen was placed 6th out of 18 choirs. St.Dennis Male Voice Choir recently disbanded | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Anches Doo Too Cool | [a=Daniel Paboeuf] and [a=Philippe Herpin] first met in 1975, but it's only in 1978 that the band formed in Rennes (France), after the debuts of [a=Marquis De Sade]. The name is based on a play on words in French "Anches d'où tout coule" (Reeds from which everything flows). Their first live occurred at MJC La Paillette in March 1978, together with [a556251] on bass under the moniker of "Anches doo too cool badaboom duo". The main duet plays in Brest, and tours in the Briton clubs during Summer 1978. They are also programmed during the 1st [l420072] in June 1979. In Summer 1980, the duet records demos of the "[r=2404872]" LP. They then record at [l324109] during Fall 1980, with a few guests: Nicole Calloc'h sings on a track, [a350153] reads a text on another, Jean-Pierre Ghez eructs here and there, whilst [a1077077] manages the electronics. The LP is released end of 1980. Only few lives were programmed afterwards mainly at Jazz festivals, but on the 19th of October 1981, the duet recorded a live album at L'église Toussaint in Rennes, called "[r=2433495]". It was released early 1982, at the same period than the Sax Pustuls' LP "[m=1548709]", but 2 weeks prior its release Paboeuf leaved the formation to join [a1584494]. The duet is gonna reform for a night in February 1985, for the showing of the "Purple Rain" movie, in Rennes. But they reunite officially at [l1519853] in Paris end of 1985. A few concerts were made in 1986 including [l486869], followed by a Tour end of 1986 which concluded on the 1st night of the [l420072] at the "[a18700] et ses amis" event. Another Tour started in January 1987 in Le Mans, Lyon, Montpellier, and the 12th of February 1987 at Salle Vilar, Rennes. In march 1987, they recorded their 3rd LP at [l327290] in Paris. Guests: [a1074423] on mandolin, [a383887] on bass on a few tracks only, and Hector Zazou on machines programming. [r=2731695] is released in June 1987. In July, they are listed for the [l706622] festival and returned in January 1988 to play at [l420082]. For the [l706622] in July 1988, the duet became a sextet called "Anches doo too cool sexes-têtes". 3 of the guests were part of the 17 persons big band led by Philippe Herpin aka Pinpin, "Prof Pinpin et ses Funk Noz". The band then welcomed Gilles Habile on keys and [a879247] on drums. Their final LP [m=1434251] is released in 1990, before they disband. | |

Members were Ron Barkley (lead guitar, vocals), Jack Caviness (drums), Mike Cullen (guitar, vocals), Gary Heuer (lead guitar, vocals), Ed Steele (drums, vocals), and Larry Wiseman (keyboards). USA produced such a vast variety of garage bands, that were highly influenced by major known bands of the time like Jefferson Airplane, Jimi Hendrix & The Experience and The Grateful Dead. Every little town in the US has been over-flooded with teenagers full of enthusiasm and ideas reflecting the electrifying times, when everything suddenly seemed to be possible. One of the better local bands, that came and went with the '60s fading into plastic '70s were Ventura County’ Bleu Forest. So far only a handful of people heard these 1968 unreleased recordings, which were hidden in Caviness (only surviving member) basement and let me say this: What we have here is a lost psych-garage classic. A crossover between groovy melodies of Moby Grape mixed with Steppenwolf heaviness. | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Atombuzz | Atombuzz is a four piece hardcore punk band from the sunny Sussex riviera. They have outlasted trends, scenes and governments by refusing to give in and just doing what they do. They play fast rock 'n' roll taking influences from Poison Idea, Discharge, The Varukers, The Exploited, Peter and The Test Tube Babies and more. Society gives them plenty of material and anger to craft their music and they do this anyway they like. They have been causing chaos since 1993 and in between drinking and splitting up, managed to record and release: 2 EPS, 3 albums and a double A side Christmas single. They are no longer playing as a band and instead prefer listening to Meat Loaf whilst drinking port and eating cheese. Although never say die! | |

| Search | Add | 5 | Iain Flitcroft | Iain was born in Preston, Lancashire. The family loved music and Iain quickly expressed a desire to play the piano. Lessons began at the age of 6 and by the age of 15, Iain had passed all 8 Grades with the Royal School of Music. At the age of 10, Iain joined the church choir and was enthralled by the sound of the pipe organ. So at the age of 12, having reached Grade 6 on the Piano, Iain was regularly deputising for church services and by 16 was organist and choirmaster of his own church, St Paul’s Faringdon, Preston. As a Christmas present Iain was given an LP of William Davies playing the Granada Kingston Wurlitzer. This was followed by a trip with his parents to Blackpool Tower and an Organist Association visit to the Paramount Organ Studios in Bolton. By the end of this, Iain was hooked on the sound of the Theatre Organ. Iain’s Father was determined to find the best possible teacher and contacted Ernest Broadbent in Blackpool. Ernest had retired a couple of years earlier as Resident Organist at the Tower Ballroom where he had taken over from Reginald Dixon. Ernest agreed to take Iain on as a pupil. Iain eventually spent three years playing for First Leisure in Blackpool on the piers, In the Winter Gardens and, of course, in the world famous Tower Ballroom. Since then, Iain has played virtually all of the theatre organ venues in the UK as well as regular concert trips to Holland | |

Often moaned about due to their unyielding addiction to alcohol and mayhem, they consistently entertain and bewilder in equal measures. Regulars at Rebellion festival and UK DIY gigs, they can usually be spotted with their tops off at the bar and leaving a trail of destruction, anarchy and chaos behind them. Their music is varied on their albums but live shows tend to focus on the 'faster' element of their output, but they have been known to occasionally utilise a harpsichord in the live arena. Not suitable for the squeamish or shy. |
