Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024
Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Several high profile music industry veterans contributed to the recording of their 2014 album If. goodbyemotel is best known for their 4D Live Music Experience." The band formed in Melbourne, Australia in 2008 and later moved to Brooklyn, New York.[3] They attracted considerable attention after their song "Set it Off" from their People EP was featured in a Chrysler Australia advertisement and then went into heavy rotation on several Australian radio stations. Their song "Last Flight of The Bat" was featured on the television show Gossip Girl. After landing a showcase performance at CMJ in 2011, the band lost their drummer two weeks prior to departure for the United States. Search | Add | 4 | Klaus Bloch | Klaus Bloch | From 'The Crack in the Cosmic Egg' by Steven Freeman & Alan Freeman: "Hiding behind the moniker of 'A La Ping Pong', Klaus Bloch was a talented amateur guitarist who broke on to the independent scene in a small way in the early '80s. Apart from being the project name, the 'A La Ping Pong' phrase was what he called his tape delay system, which was in essence his variation on the Frippertronic system. Klaus Bloch went on to make two very different albums. The first [Phase I] featured a highly inventive music featuring more recognisably 'Frippertronic' style guitar looping and delays, with multi-tracking and electronics, often comparable to Manuel Göttsching's echo and delay guitar work, early Heldon, or Camera Obscura. Then, in contrast, Phase II took a diversion to Kraftwerk styled electro-pop blending with Frippian touches" After an extended recording hiatus, Klaus Bloch resurfaced with the 'Gnomania' LP, recorded in 1999. |

Search | Add | 4 | Kenny Cree | Kenneth John Cree | Kenneth "Kenny" John Cree is a British Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Multi-Instrumentalist. He is most known for his single "1989" and his cover of "Wellerman". He was born on the 15th September 2006. Kenny started making music in 2013 when he was given a tablet for his Christmas present in 2012. Since then he went has gone on to make 12 singles, 2 albums and 4 EPs. His debut studio album, ONE, was released on January 8th 2022 and his sophomore album, To Past Me, Goodbye, was released on May 19th 2023 on Unsainted Recordings (A label owned by himself) He has been involved in several projects, most notably Seabound (not to be confused with the German Electronic Duo from the 2000s) and High Fire Rises (now known as Obsidian) as the lead vocalist and more recently, rhythm guitarist. All would come to a halt while he worked on To Past Me, Goodbye and then would most be cancelled. The only side project he really works on nowadays would be is Electronic / Lo-Fi project entitled ClearBlock, which the first EP, Stray Cat, released December 30th 2022 also on Unsainted Recordings. In July 2023, he announced work on All Variations Advised, a passion project of his that is supposed to replace the long running acoustic sound of his in favour of an indie pop type sound that best represents him as a person. The album has no concrete release date but he plans to release it nearer to the end of 2023 and start of 2024, but will take as long as the album requires. His final single I Hate You, released July 28th 2023. In September 2023, Kenny announced the cancellation of All Variations as he felt the project's progress halting and didn't see it working in the long term due to his sound being very misrepresentative of him at the time. Around the same time, he released a cryptic message on his instagram which read "forget what you think you know", which fans speculated to be the release of the album, but was later revealed to be a new project all together. This project, entitled lightbl0om, would be the start of this new era for Kenny, ditching his old ways of releasing demos and rough releases, and now only releasing things he deems worth releasing. In November 2023, under the moniker of lightbl0om, he released the remake of his first album, now entitled "0NE", alongside this releasing the indie rock version of his track "broken" as a single. |

Search | Add | 4 | Fred Mauck | Label owner and studio engineer. Fredrick R. Mauck was born April 24, 1913, in Yetter, Iowa. He was active as a clarinetist in the Boone (Iowa) High School band as well as a member of the school’s orchestra and chamber orchestra. By 1932, he was also a student director for the school orchestra. Throughout the 1930s, he “…traveled the Midwest with the Freddie Mauck Orchestra,” according to his obituary in the 'Quad City Times'. The band is reported to have traveled a territory ranging from Iowa to the Canadian Border, and south through Kansas. The Freddie Mauck Orchestra is reported to have disbanded on December 31, 1936. From 1939 until the time of his retirement, Fred is frequently listed as a film projectionist at venues like The Paradise Theatre in Moline, Illinois (1939 into the 1940s), The Roxy Theatre in Moline (around 1945 to at least 1955) and The Spruce Hills Twin Theater in Bettendorf, Iowa (around 1977-1979). By 1949, Fred and his first wife, Mayphine, resided at a Moline address shared with a transcription recording business known as [l1859176]. It’s presumed that this business, which produced program content for local radio stations and rehearsal recordings for nearby dance studios, was the genesis of [l247100] Records. Fred’s marriage to Lois Hansen in 1951 inspired the name of the Fredlo label, resulting from a contraction of the names Fred and Lois. The studio relocated from Moline across the river to Davenport, Iowa, around 1956, with the Maucks living on the second floor above the recording facility. After shutting down the studio in 1976, Fred spent two more years as a projectionist before retiring with his wife to the community of Grand Marais, Minnesota, where he passed away March 11, 1995.

Search | Add | 4 | Jovan Jovanović Zmaj | Jovan Jovanović Zmaj (Serbian Cyrillic: Јован Јовановић Змај; November 24, 1833 - June 3, 1904) was one of the best-known Serbian poets. Zmaj was born in Novi Sad. He finished elementary school in Novi Sad, and secondary school in Bratislava, later studying in Budapest, Prague and Vienna. In 1870, he returned to Novi Sad to work as a doctor, motivated by the fact that his wife and children were suffering from and eventually died from tuberculosis. He wrote in many of the genres of poetry, including love, lyric, patriotic, political, youth's, and educational poetry. But he is best known for his children's poetry. His nursery rhymes have entered the Serbian national consciousness and people sing them to their children even without knowing who wrote them. His nickname Zmaj (Змај, meaning "dragon") derives from May Assembly date, 3 May 1848, in Serbian Cyrillic: 3.мај / Змај.

Search | Add | 4 | Hechos Raros | They formed in the early nineties in the city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The group was formed by members of the rock bands: "Hamlet y Los Encantadores Hombres de Nuestro Santo Patrono" both originally from the port city. The first original line-up was composed by: Winny Quintanilla, Juan Carlos Inzunza, Sergio Avila, Jaime Coppel, Juancho Benitez and Guillermo Hernández. This line-up later recorded the cassette titled "Historias de la Ciudad" in Guadalajara, Jalisco. After promoting the aforementioned title, they made presentations nationwide where they were required to record their second material in Mexico City, which never went on sale for the reasons of the first label. In 1995 they move to Los Angeles, California. In that city, they are discovered by the Argentine producer Horacio Lanzi and his company "Hola Rock and Pop", who produces the material entitled "Hechos Raros" from which the singles "Toque de Queda" and "El Sinaloense" are released, That material was recorded in the "Hot Tin Roof" studios in North Hollywood in 1996. Two videos were filmed and the material was finally distributed by the record company Fonovisa. During the recording they had invited people such as: Banda El Recodo, Victimas del Dr. Cerebro, Diego Di Pietri and Rick Deliz. During his brief career, Hechos Raros alternated with bands such as: ATERCIOPELADOS, FOBIA, MALDITA VENCINDAD, LA LEY, LA LUPITA, VÍCTIMAS DEL DOCTOR CEREBRO, TIJUANA NO, RABANES, ENANITOS VERDES, PASTILLA, among others. They appeared in cities such as: CHICAGO, MIAMI, TUCSON, SAN FRANCISCO, SAN JOSE, SALINAS, AUSTIN, LOS ANGELES, SAN DIEGO, TIJUANA, ENSENADA, GUADALAJARA. ETC.
