Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 10/01/2024
Found 593861 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Sunisit | Call it "space summer music." The original member of YOUNG GODS (Cesare Pizzi alias Ludan Dross) and sinusoidal techno champion (POL) launch concept band SUNISIT. Frontman-Shaman of the same Young Gods, Franz Treichler produces and mixes the duo's debut album. If a balearic sun rose in deep space, Sunisit would certainly be the soundtrack. In the early Eighties, Cesare invented techno-rock sampling with the Young Gods, where he played the funkier side of the dark splendor of the band. At the dawn of the Nineties, POL emerges from the swiss scene of electronic body music, dancing accompanied by pounding post-industrial apocalyptic visions.

Search | Add | 2 | Singing Zoo | Copenhagen based pop/rock group formed 1986. A gender mixed band Miss B. Haven-guitarist Anne Vig Skoven was a member the fist two years. Competent musicians deriving from both new wave and from the, at the time, more dominant rock scene, Singing Zoo was hailed as the band of the year at the legendary Copenhagen club, Musikcaféen in 1987 winning the prestigious Årets John-prize. Their debut album was released to critical acclaim two years later, but the band never truly overcame the prejudices prevailing in both alternative and more traditional rock circles - despite songwriting abilities and a small,, but devoted fan base. Singing Zoo broke up 1994.

He spent time during the heyday of Las Vegas show-bands, the golden age of Broad-way. Just name a legendary figure, and Effie will surely have had an experience and a tale to tell. Still going, he has recently collaborated with Jason Miles, releasing a series of works-in-progress to document the creation of a musical work. Jazz, polka, smooth-jazz, Broad-way, Dixie-land, Hot-jazz, cool-jazz, country-time, rhumba, rock-and-roll, Swing-time - Efrayim has done it all.

Search | Add | 2 | Puma Jones | Sandra Jones | Sandra "Puma" Jones (October 5, 1953—January 28, 1990) was an American singer, best known as a member of the Grammy Award-winning reggae group Black Uhuru. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Jones graduated from Columbia University in New York City. She studied dance with the Chuck Davis troupe where she took a particular interest in African dance. After becoming disillusioned with city life she declared a need to "discover her roots" and moved to Jamaica. Deciding to build a singing career, Jones sang with the band Sons of Negus led by Ras Michael. In 1978, she was introduced by a mutual friend to Derrick "Duckie" Simpson, the leader of reggae group Black Uhuru. That group was undergoing a significant lineup change that also included the addition of singer Michael Rose. Jones became a full member of Black Uhuru and sang on seven studio albums, starting with Showcase in 1979 and also including the critically acclaimed Red in 1981 and Anthem in 1983. Jones was noted for adding lyrics on religious and social topics to Black Uhuru songs, during a period when reggae musicians were often accused of being trite and dismissive of women, and she was also known for. her haunting voice. Her last full album with the group was Brutal in 1986. Before sessions began for the album Positive in 1987, Jones was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to withdraw from Black Uhuru and was replaced by singer Olafunke. Jones returned to the United States for treatment and died at age 36 on January 28, 1990. She was buried near her family home in South Carolina. |

Search | Add | 2 | Second Change For Better | This Depok (Indonesia) based punk rock unit has been known as boys that love to play fast-beat songs. Raised by 90's skate punk, Fat Wreck-esque, and some Indonesian punk rock band legends, such as Konflik, Speak Up, Kuro!, Mary Ann and No Label, they really dig that melodic punk rock beats. They chose Second Change For Better as their name. For some years, the quiet time struck in after the 6 songs on their first Demo was released in 2010. It was the beginning of 2016, when this unit decided to continue the works that was not finished yet. "Story Has Begun", the single that was released in that year, defined that they are truly into this business. The single Vice Versa was released in early December 2019 and it also marked as the birth of their debut full-length album, Symptoms. The album is released by two independent record labels in two different countries, Rise & Grind Records from Indonesia and Fast Decade Records from Finland. No sign of slowing down after all these years!

His parents were John Marmilich, a well known and gifted tamburaši, and Helen (Dellich) Marmilich. Their other son, William, passed away at a young age. By now, Joe was writing music they used in their appearances. Also, in 1944, Joe married Caroline Scacchetti. Their marriage was blessed with a son, Joe Jr. The Marmilich girls also married and became know as Mildred Markulin, Katie Pezell, and Louise Repko. Joe joined George Skrbina's Balkan Serenaders in the late 1940s, playing second brać. Their many 78 RPM records and years of radio programs made The Balkan Serenaders known far and wide. In 1950, Joe joined Dave Zupkovich and his Balkan Recording Orchestra playing both the cello and second brać. Joe Matacic played lead brać, John Krilich played bass, and Dave sang lead and played the bugarija. During this time, Joe also formed The Slav Serenaders and in 1956 rejoined George Skrbina. In 1963, Joe formed the Marjon Recording Orchestra and recorded its first LP record featuring his rendition of the now famous "Mama Draga Mama". They also made two LPs of just kolo tunes and Joe became known as "The Kolo King". Joe passed on his love and knowledge of tambura to his son, Joe Marmilich, Jr., who began playing bugarija at the age of 14. For the next 26 years, father and son, along with numerous other tamburaši, performed throughout the tri-state area. Search | Add | 2 | Elfredo | Oben rechts. Filterzigarette. Da geht noch was. Bandmitglieder Me myself and I Motto *GBZ* keep it real!! Liebt euch!!! Viva la revolution!!! Esst mehr Tomaten!! Was mich zornig macht... Überlasse das Hassen denen die zu schwach sind lieben zu können.

Temple of the Stars music is sonically nocturnal and melodic, with a lot of folk elements presented within an atmospheric rock context. It´s a mix of folk, rock, prog, and metal. The songs are catchy but they also have a sense of mystique. The underlying themes of the songs deal with mythological forest dwellers and ancient wisdom and the organic flute gives this project an extra edge, atmosphere, and authenticity.

Search | Add | 2 | Ometra | Ometra is a Lugano-based music project offering alternative rock -grunge. Influences include Radiohead, Alice in Chains, and the whole grunge scene with atmospheric overtones in the style of Anathema. In 2017, driven by the desire to start again from the basics, founder Carlo Gervasini (My Stupid Dream, Parole Perse, Doomed Timeline Theory and Beansidhe) starts writing his own songs in the form of 'one man band'. In the recording session he personally takes care of all instruments and vocal parts, accompanied only by the voices of Claudio Lucchini and Giulia Schertler. The first release "Ometra" is in 2019: it gets visibility and a place in the compilation "Confederation Music" managed by Marco Kohler (RSI) with the song "Ahead." This good debut will push the guitarist to believe he can compose better music, with a real band. But the sudden loss of his mother, at the dawn of 2019, will heavily influence Gervasini's subsequent writing and approach to music, leading to some stylistic changes and serving in part as an attempted exorcism to an unrelenting grief. Thus, in 2020 the writing of new, more dynamic and emotional pieces begins. In 2021, made by a group consisting of Elia Heutschi (drums), Paride Casu (bass), Giulia Schertler and Anastasia Gautschi (vocals), as well as Gervasini on guitars, "We used to look at the stars," recorded and mixed by Stefano Scenini at Stairway Studio in Cimo, sees the light. The work gets further visibility than the previous release and with the track "Crossroads from my Past" OMETRA deservedly returns to feature in the selection of "Confederation Music" . "We used to look at the stars" is an album that helped the project leader accept and embrace the pain, to move forward.... Made in the hope that it will also intercept the feelings of those who have experienced severe suffering during their journey. 2023 will see the birth of the new album, which will be ready by the second half of the year.
