Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 11 | Jarek Śmigiel | Jarosław Śmigiel | Polish bassist he joined the rest of the musicians in 1992 to complete the line-up of the band Illusion. He made his television debut - a performance with the band Tubajhorus - at the age of 17. He played in Efekt Marzeń and IMTM, and in 1998, together with Paweł Herbasch, he founded the group Oxy.gen. He has composed music for Robert Turło's film "Wall", which was nominated for the Golden Palm at Cannes. In between recordings and concerts, he makes quite a career… in marketing. A guy with a strong character and lots of energy. Likes to have the last word. He thinks quickly (always rationally!) and makes decisions even faster. Everything he engages in turns into gold. According to the rest of the band, he is a brilliant bass player, appreciated for his aggressive sound and technical versatility. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Rinaldo Calheiros | Brazilian singer born December 3, 1926 in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte - died 2010. He was a career officer at the Brazilian Air Force, but a car accident forced him into an earlier retirement. He started singing at the Rádio Poty, in his home town and soon was elected "The Star" of that radio. In 1951 he formed a group with Chico Elion (acoustic guitar) and João Juvanklin (accordion), the Trio Acaiaca. From 1955 to 1957 they recorded a few 78 rpm's but it was in 1960, when he was living in São Paulo that he really went into the music world. There he sang on several records for CBS, Continental and Columbia. In 1961 he released his first solo LP, "Em Tudo Existe Amor". In 1962, with Silvana, he recorded "Ouvindo-te Com Amor", which was well accepted by the public and from then on, both singers went on their solo careers. | |

| Search | Add | 11 | The B.B.C. Wireless Military Band | The B.B.C Wireless Military Band, later renamed the B.B.C Military Band ran from September 1927 until 1943, with a repertoire largely made up of orchestral works. It had a staff arranger Gerrard Williams and was conducted by Walton O'Donnell, succeeded in 1937 by his brother, Major P.S.G. O'Donnell. ( It is possible that this change of conductor led to the dropping of the word Wireless from the band name) The band proved immensely popular and had original pieces written for it by, amongst others, Alan Bush and Gustav Holst. The B.B.C decided to axe the band in the 1940s and despite much protests it gave its final performance at 9.40 pm on Tuesday, 16 March 1943. | |

Alternative Rock, Pop-Punk, Indie-Rock, Alternative Country | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Dil-E-Nadan | Dil-E-Nada is a decades-old band which has had a rotating membership over the years. Sangeeta D'Songstar of Chutneymusic dot com provides a brief hstory of the band: "Dil e nadan was formed in 1957 by the late Usaf Khan and Ramnarine Moonilal. Dil e nadan won the Prime Minister’s Trophy for best indian orchestration which was judged by the late great Mohammed Rafi 1962. The band enjoyed a lot of success in the years to follow and dominated the local indian industry. In the 80’s the band toured mainly Canada,Guyana and Suriname and boasted the best local singers the country had at the time. (Nazimool and Ruby, Ras Nancoo). In the mid 80’s Ramnarine’s two sons Rennie and Raymond joined the group as percussionists then moving on to trumpets, and then Guitars and Keyboards. With the push from then manager Haseeb Majid ,Raymond started his career as a lead singer. He entered the national duet singing competition with Swarsati Maraj in 1989 and won first place. This proved to be the start of the rise of the Indian Culture among the youths in Trinidad and Tobago. The next year (1990) Raymond entered Mastana Bahar where he placed Second in the grand finals (a result which still has unanswered questions). Rennie the eldest of the brothers also sang in the finals. That same year the youngest of the brothers Richard joined the band as a Tabla and Dholak player. The band did their first show in New York in 1993 at York College in Queens. (the show was sold out 1 week in advance) Then in 1996 the band was signed to Soca Paradise (Ramesh Singh) and released there first C.D. People’s Choice. The success seemed to have just started as the band became the first band to tour Holland and Spain in 1997. In 1999 Richard became the youngest manager in Trinidad at only 19. Soon after dil e nadan became the first chutney group to perform at the world renowned Brass Festival and Youth fest. Dil e nadan holds the record for the most awards at the 103fm awards show (24).The band is currently sponsored by Bmobile and Stag. Dil e nadan recently signed a Five year deal in Holland with Bollywood LTD for performances in Europe." | |

She was also the manager and girlfriend of New York-based musician [a783464] (aka James Chance aka James White), singing on Chance's album Off White under the pseudonym of Ginger Lee. Better known for having co-founded the Mudd Club in New York in 1978, she also played a couple of roles on no-wave films such as Rome '78, Kidnapped and The Foreigner. A clothing design enthusiast, she dedicated her life on making some of the most remarkable punk/no-wave costumes, including the pink dress worn by her friend Debbie Harry on the cover of Blondie's Plastic Letters album. Although she was one of the most glamorous and innovative girls of her time, Phillips never had the opportunity to achieve the fame she had so longed for, especially because of her premature death at the age of 26, after losing a two-year battle against a brain cancer.

| Search | Add | 11 | Switch "Groov" Exp. | Dj & producer, Switch "Groov" Experience have been living in Paris for a few years, in the east of Paris. Lover of music in general, jazz in particular, he stand at a musical crossroad. With Trane in a corner of the head, Detroit on horizon, David M. in his bag and black Atlantic for territory, his musical identity is a mirror of our times. It flows. It is therefore hybrid, un "je ne sais quoi" between the spirit of jazz, the deepness of house, the lightness of disco and the jewel case of african musics. Looking for hybridity?! Switch "Groov" Experience participated to some artistic and musical projects : Ombilikal webradio (Toulouse, 2002-2006), Jazzistic (regular event around past, present and future of Jazz, La Karambole, 2006-2010), Jazz Attitudes (unique parisian jazz-dance event, La Java, 2010-2014).... | |

| Search | Add | 11 | Markove | David Markov | Washington D.C American Hardstyle Producer and DJ Markove focuses on producing and mixing hardstyle using a unique blend of raw and euphoric. Whether with an uplifting melody or a punchy bassline, David “Markove” Markov is determined to establish a rare breed of creativity. Hardstyle represents an entire world for David to explore; one full of the melodies trance taught him to love and the powerful, more defined bass he has been yearning for. Hardstyle became a day and night passion following David’s discovery of the genre in high school. Being a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area has presented many obstacles for a genre newcomer. Hardstyle hasn’t reached the shores of the United States en masse yet, but David welcomes the challenge of helping hardstyle to spread amongst his fellow Americans. Markove is a play on the wording of David’s last name. Many people pronounce the name wrong, which led to Markove – a “proper” pronunciation of his last name. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Co Nam Can Tho | Trương Thị Trắc | Cô Năm Cần Thơ (real name Trương Thị Trắc) was born in 1917 in Cần Thơ, Cochinchina. She started appearing in Pathe, Beka and Asia Electric and other labels from the mid 1940s. Her career on records started right after World War Two, when Radio France-Asia featured her voice on their broadcasts. Allegedly, in 1946-1947, she performed for the Vietminh soldiers in Zone 7, which earned her a lot of respect among the people. Her career peaked in the 1950s, when she was given her own Tea Room by General Bảy Viễn in the Đại Thế Giới Casino (Grand World Casino), a place for known regime officers, affluent clients, named the Nightinggale (Chim Họa Mi). From her tea room, Cô Năm Cần Thơ trained various upcoming talents, some of which became well-known artists in their own right in the late 50s to 70s such as Út Trà Ôn, Hữu Phước, Thành Được, Út Bạch Lan, Kim Chưởng, Thanh Hương… Around 1964, Cô Năm Cần Thơ retired, and for the next 10 years she went into obscurity. In 1974, she returned to her homeland and established her own tearoom with Duy Trì, a blind performer. They enjoyed some level of success until the fall of the Republic of Vietnam in 1975, after which she completely vanish from public view. Many assumed she had since passed away, but in 1994, she was spotted living in a makeshift tent in Tao Đàn park in Ho Chi Minh city. With help from the Artists Friendship Assosiation (Hội Ái Hữu Nghệ Sĩ), she was given some support and even shelter, much to her disdain, as she was used to the more free and tougher living conditions. It appears since her children all grown up to be capable for caring for themselves, the artist has no more burden, and spents her time playing cards with other artists that visited her. She even made a rare appearance in the early 2000s, much to the enjoyment of her life long fans. She passed away on the 24th January 2007. |

He cooperated with various recording studios, like Logic Studios, Pixel Sound, Eclisse Studio, Stone Castle Studios, Psycho Studio, and Green Studio, covering multiple roles. Alfiero started as an engineering assistant and focused on Digital Editing, Digital Sound Design, Digital Post-Production, and Digital Mastering. He was one of the first in Italy to specialize in working on digital direct-to-disk systems such as Synclavier, Fairlight, Opus Lexicon and AMS Logic. Among Italian and international artists, he worked with Depeche Mode, Yes, Robert Palmer, Vasco Rossi, Franco Battiato, Fabrizio De Andrè, Paolo Conte, Jovanotti and many others. Unfortunately, in the 1980s and 1990s, Alfiero's work (Digital Editing, Digital Sound Design, Digital Post-Production, and Digital Mastering on direct-to-disk systems) was very often planned and performed at the last moment, when the booklet was already printed or in printing. For this reason, Alfiero doesn't appear in some album credits, even if he worked in the making. Alfiero retired from discography in 1998 and today is a real estate advisor and investor. |

After some events in 2007 the indefinite hiatus was over and it was active as Voe_Ero. Natural things as walking, contemplating, thinking, visting the memorable places of childhood. One life-long chain of memorable events, dear people, precious moments, coldness and comfort. Author defines the music of the project as "archaic, devoted to the purity of Life, the union of masculinity and womankind, development and bloom, truth of every moment". Everything is imrovised and intiuitive, none of the members prepares for recording sessions. Stylistically music leans to raw and acoustic Folk - Psychedelic - Post-rock sounds. Members of the project describe it as "free from tags and socially independent musings without repetitions and directions". Child-like explorations of the world. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Feenix13 | Debbie Griffith | Feenix 13 was one of the founder members of Spiral Tribe. She was a lynchpin of the sound system’s event organisation and played a vital role in the design and décor. Responsible for many of the later flyers and heavily involved in the conception of the event spaces, she helped define the ‘look’ of the sound system. When the Spirals travelled to Europe it was Feenix 13 who coined the word ‘Teknival’. A word which would become synonymous with the new underground movement. At the end of the 1990’s, she fulfilled a similar role in the Sound Conspiracy sound system and embraced video as a design tool. Since 2000 she has been the resident designer for the Audiotrix record label and has more recently been specializing in computer based digital imagery and animation, which she incorporates into her live VJ mixes. Today, Feenix 13 is SP23’s VJ and central to the graphic design team. Her digital remixes of archetypal imagery and mutation of symbolic themes has given SP23 its own, mysterious, visual atmosphere. |

| Search | Add | 11 | Greška | Loosen your suspenders, tighten your shoelaces and get ready to flap your extremities. Greška is a five piece neo-gypsy/klezmer ensemble not unlike a chipotle and cocaine kebab: you’re not sure where it’s from, but it sure knocks you off your tits. A torn canvas of Romanian gypsy dons a filthy smear of western metal, jazz-funk and classical-arrangement. Greshka are like the excitement of stubbing your toe on a wad of cash you forgot about; it didn't hurt, it was unexpected and you were a bit angry at first, but then remembered how much you feel like buying a really expensive bottle of wine to go with your petrol station steak-and-mushroom pie. This is a band who are alike jumping on the 412, missing your stop and somehow ending up in the Jewish province of Sweden; you didn't know it existed but now you're here you might as well buy a nice hat. Greshka play music which sounds like the contents of Humphrey Bears suitcase as he departs for a bush doof with his boyfriend. When you attend a Greshka gig you leave with the same feeling as having read a bio which is entirely unrelated to what you wanted to hear, but it was kind of funny and you had a great pie even though the wine was a bit too fruity for your liking. | |

The reason is that the music they play goes beyond the threshold of 'just music', it has its own visual characters and philosophy which are entangled with other areas of art blurring the lines and united under the flag of Melting Clouds. As a result, one of the main goals is consolidation and synthesis of both musical palettes and various forms of art in order to create new vision of the process of creation. Also, one of the goals is to cooperate with people who have fresh ideas and the willingness to cooperate.
