Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Peter C. Newman | Peta Karel Neuman | Canadian journalist and writer. Born on May 10, 1929, in Vienna, Austria. Died on Sept. 7, 2023 in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Peter C. Newman was a journalist and historian who wrote about the political and business elites of Canada, his adopted country. He was born in Vienna and escaped Nazi persecution with his family in 1938. He arrived in Canada in 1940 and became a British subject in 1945. He started his career as a reporter for The Financial Post and later became the editor of The Toronto Star and Maclean’s magazine. He transformed Maclean’s from a monthly to a weekly publication and made it a influential voice in Canadian affairs. He also authored nearly three dozen books, covering topics such as Canadian prime ministers, the Bronfman liquor dynasty, the Hudson’s Bay Company, and the media mogul Conrad Black. He was known for his muckraking style and his nationalist perspective. He often criticized the political and corporate establishment for being out of touch with the country. He received many honors for his work, including the Companion of the Order of Canada in 1990 and the Canadian Forces' Decoration. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Swingin' Amiss | Swingin' Amiss combine the fundamentals with singer/ songwriter tendencies, and what comes out is modern folk-pop with a distinct jazz infusion. Concentrating on the song itself, a sound has formed around the band rather than the opposite. This contributes to their unique, genre-defying way of producing music. Occasionally folk, often jazz, sometimes a shuffle, the band writes songs that find their own definition. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | J.Kendall | J. Kendall, a self-taught musician, singer, songwriter and producer got his start in a Chicago church where he began playing bass guitar at the age of 15. While attending college (studying engineering), he began to play and be exposed many other types of music including jazz and rock. After graduating he began working as a computer programmer. Not getting a sense of fulfillment from the programming job, he began to save money to make a move into the music business. After a year of planning, J. Kendall gave 2 weeks notice and began to work part time as a personal trainer so he could spend the bulk of his time recording the album 'Make Your Move'. 'That's what the title song is all about. Doing what you feel in your heart even when it goes against the grain. There were people who didn't believe I could/should do it. I decided to focus on what makes me happy. This is one of the ideas I hope to convey with this album. ' J. Kendall has done just that while also creating a work that combines the many musical styles that have influenced him. Melodic ballads, cool instrumentals and funky mid-tempo tunes. This album has it all. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Po' Boi | Jimmy Petty | Jimmy Petty (Po' Boi) was born in Huntsville, Alabama on July 27, 1975. He was raised by his parents, Jefferie and Charles Petty, and his paternal grandmother "Mama" in the Terry Heights Community of Huntsville. Po' Boi became interested in music early in life. In 1983, at the age of 8, he began singing. Then in 1985 he began writing songs, which he later converted into raps. In 1987, Po' Boi and his little brother Paul (Krystyle) won their first talent show, featuring rapper Doug E. Fresh. In the 1990's Po' Boi would continue to captivate and entertain audiences. In 1990 he wrote and performed the single "Hillbilly Funk", with the group Mass Confusion, at the First Annual Black Arts Festival in Huntsville. This rap placed first in the Amateur Music Talent Competition. Later that same year, at the Heritage Festival in Birmingham, they also performed "Hillbilly Funk" which earned yet another first place. In 1994, he participated in the 'Jack the Rapper Convention', which made the industry aware of his determination and skills. Later in 1994, after witnessing the gradual decline of his neighborhood, Po' Boi was inspired to write and perform a local Public Service Announcement, "Stop the Violence", which was aired on all local television stations. This Public Service Announcement not only raised community awareness in his neighborhood, but in surrounding neighborhoods as well. In 1995 his first single "Peanut Butter" was completed and released on the Backyard Entertainment label. "Peanut Butter" reached the number five spot on the Underground rap chart and the number fourteen spot on the Top Billboard rap chart. In the summer of 1996, Po' Boi teamed up with Durdee Souph Promotions & Management Team. A week later he was introduced to Mr. Malcolm Gopher, President of Lavish Records, and independent label based in Huntsville, Alabama, and after an exhibition of his skills he was signed to the Lavish Records' label. His first single under the Lavish Records' label, "Red Light, Green Light" is due to be released in 1997. From his humble beginning, competing in local talent shows in grade school, to opening up for well known artists such as: Naughty By Nature, Tag Team, and 69 Boys, Po' Boi has been able to maintain his composure and wait for his door to open. With patience and the will to succeed, Po' Boi was able to conceive and give birth to "Operation Motivation: G-Force" |

| Search | Add | 2 | Vukašin Đelić | An interest in exploring different sound worlds has always run through the music of Serbian guitarist Vukašin Đelić. His creative process has gone through various phases, starting from early 2000’s where he approached the guitar as a receiver, much like a radio. Using objects and devices such as mobile phones, diskmans, media players, computer equipment and other battery powered utilities, he composed music based almost solely on these frequencies and interferrences. The results were recordings, that he released under the name WoO, during the period between 2006 and 2012. During that time, he played numerous concerts around Europe and USA, along with visual artist Incredible Bob. Their A/V shows were famous for using analog and then later digital video feedback and organic electronic music to create mesmerizing, dreamy audio visual psychedelia. After those six years, his focus has shifted towards improvisational methodologies and collaborations with various musicians. His group Belgrade Noise was exclusively improvised and dedicated their existence to invite different musicians to collaborate on a material that would be performed in concerts around the region and Europe. He was part of ImprovE collective that organized montly events of improvised music. In 2016. he formed Dol, a band inspired by road movies, travel literature, early blues and folk music but also by motorik beats and swirling sounds and melodies. Vukašin also plays in Limbo Lighting, duo inspired by minimalism, kosmiche and tribal music, with sound artist Marko Paunović who plays tape reels, synths and harmonium. His great love for spiritual and free jazz has channeled in his trio called Katastar, where besides him, on drums is Marko Stričević ( Dzezbollah ) and on upper bass and saxophone Tomislav Marjanović ( Crno Dete, Cyclist Conspiracy ). In his solo works, all these worlds often collide and become something new. Either playing guitar and drums or exploring the wild side of samplers and synths, his music flows through all these different fields and spaces. In 2020, he released a record U Zavisnosti Od Dana, which is his first album under his own name. | |

With only saxophone and voice to establish the parameters of their music, they twist and turn the lines that are both composed and improvised as if – Kovacs became Dyberg and visa versa. Their music is both enchanting and soulful” /Greg Cohen | |
