Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 24/10/2024

Found 596840 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

His works have a somewhat distorted sound and are normally accompanied by strange but well-executed videos. In addition to several Japanese-language Vocaloid songs, he has released originals in Spanish and English. DRAGO UNO has deleted some of his Spanish-language songs, as he felt the lyrics were too broken. He appears to also have deleted all his video uploads on Niconico.

Search Add 2 Miguel Angel Pazos Miguel Ángel Pazos Díaz Cuban musician and composer. Miguel Ángel Pazos Díaz was born in Havana, Cuba on April 12, 1912 and died in Mexico City on February 13, 1970. He was a songwriter. Very young he settled in Mexico City, where he was known for his songs "Mi Último Refugio", whose best known version is that of María Luisa Landín; "Y Después Tú Dirás", recorded by Martha Zeller; "Aquella Tarde", recorded by Genaro Salinas; "Debería De Volver", which led to the Pedro Infante album; “Me Gustas Mucho”, recorded by Toña La Negra and María Victoria, among others; "Por Seguir Tus Pasos"; without forgetting “Mi Bella Cuba”, whose best interpretation is due to Toña La Negra. With his orchestra that stood out for its tropical and cadencious dyes, I accompany figures such as those mentioned above, as well as Chela Campos, the Hermanos Martínez Gil , Alicia Reyna, Hermanas del Mar, Marilú, Olga Darson, Pedro Vargas, Ramón Armengod and a long list of male and female interpreters.

After years as a touring bass player, he dedicated himself to start programming synthesizers and producing electronic music. In his music, Cabezas embraces the grey zones and "in-between-ness" that formed him since childhood. He approaches music the same way, discovering and experimenting, almost hybridize genres and moves between live and programmed performances.
