Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

This thrilling Reykjavík-foursome has been gathering substantial local admiration with neck-breaking performances since early 2008. Swords of Chaos are made up of seasoned members of Reykjavík’s underground music scene, each dabbling in a variety of genres, but joining forces to push the envelope of extreme sound. As an uncompromising blend of masterful noisecore packed with filth and tormented guitar riffs, THE END IS AS NEAR AS YOUR TEETH is a portrayal of their live shows. |

The Weingardt brothers themselves played together in the 1940s as the “Alpine Boys” or the “Alpine Dutch Hop Boys.” One of the members of the “Juniors,” [a15790035], was Paul’s nephew and taught at Paul’s “Alpine School of Accordion Champions.” The other members were descendants of Volga-German immigrants from Russia who settled in Nebraska and Colorado. Although the musicians are named on the labels of the two 45s issued by Weingardt’s Alpine Records, their identities are not confirmed.

| Search | Add | 2 | Macedonian Early Music Band | The Macedonian Early Music Band played traditional instruments from the Yugoslav part of Macedonia. On this album LP GB1978 they are featured playing together as a folk band: Macedonian bagpipes (Gaida), Shepherds flute (Kaval), Long necked lute (Tambura), Double headed drum (Tapan). The musicians were keen to do something to stop these traditional instruments from dying out to more modern musical instruments. They played for and danced in the Zivko Firfov folk dance group based in London UK and altogether appeared at the Ilinden Festival in Bitola, Macedonia, Yugoslavia 1978. Playing the even and amazing odd time rhythms still surviving in the Balkans, this album was released in November 1979 reaching No. 8 in the Melody Maker Folk Albums Charts. The lively playing and the fascinating rhythms was a breakthrough album, as the only other bagpipes known then were Scottish and the highly popular Irish that dominated the UK folk album charts. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Ragged Soul | Ragged Soul got together around the year 2000 in Vigo. The band started basically as an excuse to gather at weekends, play hard and drink even harder, which they accomplished real soon! At first they used to play covers of Punk & Rock’n’Roll bands they loved, from Devil Dogs to early AC/DC, but more and more their goal was to get in their own songs. Ragged Soul always revolved around Jose (guitar, vocals & songs) and Miguel (bass, backing vocals & low-life). In the couple of years or so they lasted there were at least three drummers and two or three guitar players, some of whom were gone before you could say “tough shit”! The story of the band ain’t one of easy success, happy-go-lucky girls and pink champagne, just about the opposite actually: they’d only been going for a few weeks when Miguel -pissed out of his head on a Saturday night- suffered a double fracture in a leg. As a consequence, he literally vanished without trace for some 6 months… An auspicious start, some may say. Once they got started again, they were ready to play wherever they possibly could, mostly real shitholes in exchange for booze and -only sometimes- a little bit of money and a sandwich. They couldn’t care less, as they were having the time of their lives, even though most of the audience in little villages and so couldn’t really make out what the band was all about. One example was a gig in a shack turned into a pub in the middle of nowhere, at which the attending crowd was mostly metal-heads. Seeing that the band was getting no reaction whatsoever and people just stood there motionless, Jose responded to that by cursing and flinging abuse at them. What could have been an impending disaster turned into a big party with the boys playing for over two hours and a growing number of free drinks gathering on the stage! In fact that gig got them another one in a big rock festival in the area. Another amusing moment involved a band member being chased into the toilet by a rather amicable girl after a gig, while her boyfriend was cheerfully talking to the others at the bar. Not long after that, there was an incident following another concert, which involved one in the band having a fight at a local disco and then driving his car through the front door of a village house on the way back home… Wild times indeed! It was at the end of 2002 when they entered the studio to record their one and only demo, the recordings you’re now holding in glorious vinyl nearly 15 years later: four songs about breaking up, breaking down and breaking through, if you know what I mean… Even though the resulting demo-CD was very poorly distributed, it did get them a few more gigs, the most memorable being the one the late Kike Turmix -of the infamous Pleasure Fuckers fame- got them opening for the great Wayne Kramer (guitar slinger with the legendary MC5). They struggled on for a while, changing drummers just one more time and even the band-name for one off-gig in their hometown, but that was it really. In the end, Ragged Soul would mutate into The Fishfuckers, who eventually moved on to greener pastures, but that’s another story, a story that must be told somewhere else… JOSE (FEBRUARY 2016) | |

We still have to figure that out, but at least we get to play in a band which is cool. What we like to do is just play together, chill for a bit and then play some more. What usually results is a sound that wants to hug you only to punch you in the back of the neck afterwards.

Discoveri, hailing from the United States, consists of two musical geniuses that joined forces in early 2004. Together, they started by crafting many different types of electronic music from down tempo to slamming break beats and house, finally settling on a fusion of sounds with a house backbone. It is hard to pinpoint their signature sound since they pull from so many different styles and influences. Their music is something that needs to be heard live to be appreciated.

| Search | Add | 2 | Madzilla LV | Madzilla LV | Madzilla LV is local band from Las Vegas, that started its professional musical journey on 2018. They are pigeonholed in the “Melodic Thrash Metal” genre. The band Madzilla LV is integrated by: - David Cabezas (Lead Vocals, Guitar) - Daniel Gortaire (Bass) - David Oliveri (Guitar) - Robert Wiggin (Drums) They seek to transcend their music, to be heard by audiences of all ages, and carry their ideology through their music. An unfortunate car accident in 2010, in which David Cabezas, creator of the band, lost a great childhood friend, lead to the creation of the band’s earliest single “Judgment Day”, a song dedicated to the final moments of life, and the loss of a loved one. Other singles, like their most recent single “Vengeance”, criticize a selfish society that seeks power beyond all else, and the repercussions it creates. Madzilla LV’s members come from an extensive background in the music scene, having performed, recorded, and toured in several occasions with several different bands. Today, Madzilla LV is ready to launch their EP, and will be touring in the not to distant future. P.S. The beginnings of the band date back to 2016 when David Cabezas has complete band members and Madzilla is formed. The first composition of the band was as follows: - David Cabezas (Lead Vocals, Guitar) - Andres Borbon (Bass) - Carlos Alvarez (Guitar) - Andres Estrella (Drums) The original location is Quito, Ecuador. In 2017, David Cabezas moves to the United States to Las Vegas and completes new members of the band and the letters LV (Las Vegas) appear next to the band name. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Rosemo(u)nt Antiquartet | The rosemo(u)nt antiquartet is an experimental laboratory where four fictitious musicians cross musical genres as a ceremony to map the limitations of an unsustainable solitude. This imaginary ensemble was born out of necessity to break through personal boundaries and to create new sonic experiences. This project under the direction of Y.P.L. (principal composer of Héliodrome) proposes an intimate journey without stopovers of any one particular genre: a migrating testimony of a word without territory. | |
