Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 7 | Аркадий Покрасс | Аркадий Яковлевич Покрасс | Arkady Pokrass (1898–196?) was a Russian virtuoso pianist, composer, and conductor, brother of Samuel, Dmitry, and Daniel Pokrass. He was born in Kiev and studied at the Conservatory. Pokrass was an accompanist for various popular singers, including Natalia Tamara (1873–1934). Unfortunately, "gypsy" music fell out of favor by the end of the 1920s, leaving Tamara without repertoire and leading to the complete abandonment of her career (Natalia ended her life broke and forgotten). As a big propagator of Russian romance, Arkady also suffered from the new ideological climate, but in the 1930s, he turned back to success by introducing Vadim Kozin to the Moscow audience. The singer soon became hugely popular across the whole Soviet Union, and Arkady Pokrass had been accompanying him. In 1936, Pokrass also worked as a conductor of the Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure Variety Orchestra in Moscow. After a conflict with Lavrenti Beria in 1939, Kozin was prosecuted and sent to exile in the Kolyma. Pokrass lost his protégé and barely escaped arrest himself. After that, not much is known about his life. One of the last documented mentions was discovered in Tambov archives. According to it, Arkady Pokrass was spotted at the grand opening of the local club in 1949, together with an artist Sergey Martinson. Unlike Dmitry and Daniel, Arkady was practically forgotten. The exact time and place of death are also unknown. One of his gramophone records was mentioned in the ad in BIRYUCH of Petrograd State Theatres magazine, Issue No. 4, 1918. |

Search | Add | 7 | R.O.O.O.M | Romagna,Ronno, Stamina, DNA | Lead singer Romagna, producer/guitarist Ronno, and rappers Stamina and DNA all have something in common besides their love for music: they all have a great sense of self-belief, do their own thing, and have their own personal drive. You couldn’t meet four more different people; their backgrounds are all varied, and they each have their own particular musical talent, but they all work together in perfect harmony within the group. Ronno, Romagna, DNA, and Stamina have been involved with R.O.O.O.M since 2003. The group members themselves describe what they do as ‘urban pop with just that little bit extra’. The raps give it a hip-hop edge, the vocals are on the poppy side. On stage, Ronno, Romagna, DNA, and Stamina sure know how to put on a show, and their music can’t fail to move anyone who hears it. Although music should always be about having a good time, R.O.O.O.M’s lyrics are definitely not an afterthought, as with all good music. |

Search | Add | 7 | Black Nivea | Black Nivea (Mk. I), a bunch of decidedly dilettant noise makers, formed in mid 1989. After a handful of at times chaotic local gigs (imagine a mix of early Germs and Flipper) the original group disbanded at the end of 1991. But in 1994 Black Nivea (Mk. II) came together around the key players of Screaming Joe, Big Rolf and Haax. They went on for another 10 years this time, rarely performing in public, but self-releasing the one or other record, all of which were - rightfully? - ignored by the public. In 1996 they released a great 7´´ as Pächter der Weisheit, original Black Nivea songs translated to German lyrics.

Search | Add | 7 | Wreckless Opp. | US Heavy/Power Metal (early), Crossover (later) band from Sandusky, Ohio. Wreckless Opp. is short for Wreckless Opposition. The band used this abbreviated name on every release until the 1997 CD "Face to Face". This was the band's only release after the departure of founding guitarist [a=Cole Barton], and last release before their early 1998 dissolution. Formed in 1989 primarily as a cover band called Reckless Opposition (often shortened to Reckless Opp.). As they began writing original material they split with [a=Jim Buehrle] & [a=Shane Risk] (who then together formed [a=Big Risk]), added the "W" to the name, and released their first demo of original material in 1991. After a series of lineup changes (and an instrument change for founding-drummer turned singer [a=Dan Beidelschies]), they recorded their first full-length tape in 1996 shortly after recruiting second guitarist [a=Derek McGill]. After the release of this album, but before the end of 1996, founding guitarist [a=Cole Barton], drummer [a=Joe Stuckert] and McGill both left the band, and the band went on to record another album in 1997 after finding new members [a=Rob McDonald (3)] (Guitar) and [a=Brad DeHaven] (Drums). In early 1998 the group disbanded. When Barton and Stuckert left they were working on more new material, and it has been rumoured that the band many go back to the studio to record this new material in the future. In 2015 [a=Cole Barton] joined [a=Vatican (5)].

Search | Add | 7 | Rinaldo Calheiros | Brazilian singer born December 3, 1926 in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte - died 2010. He was a career officer at the Brazilian Air Force, but a car accident forced him into an earlier retirement. He started singing at the Rádio Poty, in his home town and soon was elected "The Star" of that radio. In 1951 he formed a group with Chico Elion (acoustic guitar) and João Juvanklin (accordion), the Trio Acaiaca. From 1955 to 1957 they recorded a few 78 rpm's but it was in 1960, when he was living in São Paulo that he really went into the music world. There he sang on several records for CBS, Continental and Columbia. In 1961 he released his first solo LP, "Em Tudo Existe Amor". In 1962, with Silvana, he recorded "Ouvindo-te Com Amor", which was well accepted by the public and from then on, both singers went on their solo careers.

Jsou zvyklí vejít se na malé pódia, ale nepohrdnou ani velkými prostory, na které se jejich jazýčky namlsaly dlouholetou spoluprací s kapelou Tři sestry.
