Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 7 | Catatonic Disassembly | Nick Rampmeyer | Catatonic Disassembly (sometimes conveyed as catatonic_disassembly) is a one man electronic black goth death crust blast project comprised of sole member Nick Rampmeyer, with contributions and appearances of other artists on several works over the years. Catatonic Disassembly lasted from 2000 - 2014, compiling all previously published albums on "Preserve to Unnerve - The Legacy Collection" (available via most digital retailers such as iTunes, Amazon, Google, Spotify, etc). A compilation of mostly previous unpublished works, titled Myopic Catalysts+, was made available on the band's Bandcamp page. Several "original" versions of releases are available for free via search on Internet Archive (archive.org). These songs appear mostly unaltered from the above releases, sans embedded artwork. Search | Add | 7 | Aminus | The brainchild of a devotion to synth pop 80's, house and RnB, aMinus is the solo electro-pop project of Berlin-based Valentin Plessy, founding member of dance-clash ensemble Plateau Repas and drummer of Kool Thing. On his first album "Almost and Maybe" (Zingy Record), aMinus drew his inspiration from narratives centered around gender and chaotic relationships which characterize our everyday life. Singles such as "My Mind's Away" and "Billy" gained success in the underground Berlin scene and reached a bigger audience through the videos directed by Robin Plessy. His second album "Options" (Mad Dog & Love Records) is a reflection of expectations and uncertainties which follow one chaotic relationship. aMinus’ atmospheric & eloquent execution of these themes melodically is exposed in the debut single "Don’t Mind Me Now", featuring Magritte Jaco, singer of Plateau Repas and the second: « I can Try » featuring Kaey.

Search | Add | 7 | Tiny Stokes | Dwight "Tiny" Stokes | Dwight "Tiny" Stokes (1920-1999) who was best known as the bass player and lead tenor of the comedic country group, Captain Stubby & The Buccaneers. The Chicago-based group was together for several decades, most notably starring on the WLS National Barn Dance program, as well as local and nationally syndicated programs on the ABC network. Stokes was born in Springfield, Missouri but like many entertainers in the radio era he moved around a lot, living in Monticello, Indiana and Helena, Montana among other places, before retiring down in Florida. It was up in Montana in the early 'Sixties while working as a radio deejay that Tiny Stokes met a factory worker and aspiring country singer named Charley Pride, whose career he championed, introducing the future chart-topper to Red Foley, who helped then Pride break into the Nashville scene. Though not known as a solo artist, Stokes recorded prolifically with the Buccaneers, both on Decca singles and countless airshots; he was also known for the hillbilly hit, "Blackfoot Boogie," a Montana-themed novelty number he recorded in 1956 with a group called the Frontiersmen. (The song name-checks every country bar in the state, one by one, city by city, and is about as specific a shout-out song as you'll ever hear...) |

Search | Add | 7 | Leuchtend | Aiden Harlow | Born September 10th Greer native Aiden Harlow started his musical career under the name of Echelon Anthracite and contributed to numerous projects under the Tremolo Skies label, such as Nomad and Hqrlct. He is both a musician, graphic and 3D artist with numerous works under his belt, mostly pertaining to what he's currently working on. Harlow has put out five albums under various names as well as seven EP's over the course of his career since 2017. Leuchtend started after the disbandment of Echelon Anthracite, feeling that it was time to move on and push out what Harlow felt was a "completed work" he considered most of Echelon to be no more than unfinished songs and demos compiled into albums and used it as a framework for his first album Golden Hours. The LP featured numerous songs and ideas spanning the course of his career as both a solo artist and a bandmate in Nomad. Later on that year he would release his first physical pressing and maxi-single titled Socotra, which was a very different style from his previous endeavor and would precede his second release, slated for the next year. |

Tokom *93. Johanbeen snima tri albuma "Sam u borbi protiv dosade, What seems to be trouble, gentleman i Chaossex in monkey division".Te godine se i ustaljuje postava od tri verna člana, tri Johanbeen-a (Kita, Krcko, Fritz). Johanbeen zauzima kurs od kojeg nema odstupanja. Slede godine zeza, svirki i Johanbeenovanja. Sve albume izdaju samostalno u produkciji Siphilis tapes-a. RIP Kita

During 2013 he started working together with great singers and his first single release reflects this fact very well. The music he creates is mainly focused on the electro/dance/house/club/pop scene, but it is also influenced by a lot of other genres since he is inspired by such a wide variety of music artists and styles. Checkout his songs, like him on Facebook, and follow him on Twitter! Stay tuned!

Search | Add | 7 | Gaspare De Vito | Gaspare De Vito’s music will take your mind to unexpected places. An introspective journey into oneself, where a deeper connection with nature becomes possible. The Italian musician has a unique approach to music, which is centered around research and improvisation. Coming from a background in jazz and contemporary music, he has transitioned to electronic music in early 2015. Producer, saxophonist, flutist and composer, born in Naples in 1978. He draws inspiration from the music that mostly resonated with him, from the Neapolitan and Mediterranean roots of his childhood to the Hip-Hop of his early teens, going through Funk, Jazz all the way to Cuban, west and south African traditional music. With his new solo project, Gaspare De Vito, explores minimal and melodic techno sounds, producing deep, progressive and absolutely original music. A set that combines electronics and live music in a unique mix full of energy. As jazz performer he has worked with musicians such as Butch Morris, Alvin Curran, Mop Mop, Giancarlo Schiaffini, Francesco Bearzatti, Fabrizio Puglisi, Pasquale Mirra, Luisa Cottifogli, Maisha Grant and many more. Search | Add | 7 | Danyb | Danilo Braca | Italian DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, NY Music has always been a major part of the life of Danilo Braca aka danyb. His father was an avid record collector as well as a collector of vintage musical gear, an obvious influence on Danilo’s choice of career path. This exposure led Danilo to build his own music collection very early on. He started playing at parties around Italy in 1986, at the age of 13, just around the time of the burgeoning popularity of house music. While pursuing a career as a DJ, Danilo became highly skilled in the field of Sound Engineering and Music Production, working around recording studios in Rome until he decided to move to New York City in 2012. Having reached the city with the musical heritage that influenced him the most, he founded The Sound of New York City, a web radio station and recording studio where his activities range from music production to sound postproduction. In the last year, Danilo also created 2 record labels and released 5 EP that caught many ears in the underground community. His style as a DJ has remained very eclectic with the ability to blend Afro-disco, synth pop, Italo Cosmic, Garage House, Disco, Prog-Rock, Chicago Old School House and Philly vibes all in one set. 2018 promises to include many releases with an original solo project in progress remixed by Ashley Beedle, DJ Nature, The Revenge, DJ Spinna, DJ Rocca, and Radius etc |

During this time, the Contemporània has developed a totally innovative way of making music (...). The live performances are characterised by the approach of a very diverse and heterogeneous public, from the children who are afraid of confetti, mothers and fathers, sardana lovers, the curious... Without a doubt, the Contemporània's "Sardaxou" leaves no one indifferent. "Sardaxou" is to make the sardana a party. Members and collaborators of the Contemporània take the best-known musical scores, arrange them to the rhythm and tempo characteristic of the sardana and perform them with the most unique instruments in the country." For example, there are Sardana-versions of well-known film music or the Radetzky March. *) A cobla is a Sardanes orchestra, consisting of 11 people with 10 wind instruments and one bass. Since the 1980s female musicians are also allowed in the coblas. Sardana (pl. Sardanes) is a Catalan musical genre typical of Catalan culture and danced in circle.

Search | Add | 7 | Wreckless Opp. | US Heavy/Power Metal (early), Crossover (later) band from Sandusky, Ohio. Wreckless Opp. is short for Wreckless Opposition. The band used this abbreviated name on every release until the 1997 CD "Face to Face". This was the band's only release after the departure of founding guitarist [a=Cole Barton], and last release before their early 1998 dissolution. Formed in 1989 primarily as a cover band called Reckless Opposition (often shortened to Reckless Opp.). As they began writing original material they split with [a=Jim Buehrle] & [a=Shane Risk] (who then together formed [a=Big Risk]), added the "W" to the name, and released their first demo of original material in 1991. After a series of lineup changes (and an instrument change for founding-drummer turned singer [a=Dan Beidelschies]), they recorded their first full-length tape in 1996 shortly after recruiting second guitarist [a=Derek McGill]. After the release of this album, but before the end of 1996, founding guitarist [a=Cole Barton], drummer [a=Joe Stuckert] and McGill both left the band, and the band went on to record another album in 1997 after finding new members [a=Rob McDonald (3)] (Guitar) and [a=Brad DeHaven] (Drums). In early 1998 the group disbanded. When Barton and Stuckert left they were working on more new material, and it has been rumoured that the band many go back to the studio to record this new material in the future. In 2015 [a=Cole Barton] joined [a=Vatican (5)].

-------------------------------------------------------- Nasr is the son of Hassan Mégri - lyricist and composer of the legendary Mégri quartet -. He was born surrounded by instruments and considered them as his toys, lived to the frantic pace of the success experienced by his father, his uncles and his aunt. He grows up with a guitar in his hand, and refines the flexibility of his fingers as he laps into the living room piano. Later, he will study music theory, and will master the knowledge taught by the Music Conservatory of Rabat. From his toys, he will make them his working tools. Like a fate drawn, Nasr will follow in his father's footsteps. Cradled by the movement created by the Megri Brothers in Morocco, and surrounded by the microcosm of the few musicians of that time, this is naturally what predisposes him to become what he always wanted to be : a lyricist and composer. In 2012, he will share his first stage at Mawazine Festival, that brought together the big names of Music in Morocco. It was also the last concert given by his father. A sort of handover, symbolic of an another wave of the Megri movement that Nasr has continued to instill ever since. An undeniably emotional moment since Nasr has continued to perpetuate the traditional back and forth that his parents knew, going from concerts to concerts and locking himself in the recording studios as soon as the opportunity arises. Nasr produces 4 albums and a single on the legendary Ouhmane label, and records his name - and first name - in a catalog which includes practically all the big names in Moroccan Music - all genres and styles combined - - "Fyoum Lefrah" (2011) - "Winek" (2014) - "Baghi Nfhem" (2015) - "Sa3a Dour" (2016) - "Machaal" (2019) This latest wave of the Megri movement is meticulously respected by Nasr. In 2017, like the Megri Brothers, he will begin a Maghrebin tour. In 2018, like the Megri Brothers, he will continue with a European tour. Just a few months before the death of his father, the late Hassan. He went to India to promote Moroccan Music where he gave a concert, and coincidence or not, they were both 27 years old for their respective trips. The numerous distinctions and prizes received from all over the world by Nasr, make him an ambassador of Moroccan Music. But Nasr does not let the light dazzle him, and never ceases to follow in the footsteps of his father Hassan Megri. Surprising, and different. |
