Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Brombaugh taught and apprenticed many prominent organ builders, including [a=Bruce Shull], [a=Paul Fritts], and [a=Munetaka Yokota]. In 2022, John earned an Honorary Doctorate from [l=The Oberlin Conservatory Of Music]. Brombaugh first heard a Hammond organ in his early teens, "mesmerized" by a combination of organ and electronics. He eventually studied electrical engineering, earning his Bachelor's from the [l=University Of Cincinnati] in 1960 and Master's in 1963 from [l=Cornell University], specializing in musical acoustics. Shortly after graduation, John began working as a development engineer for the [l=Baldwin Piano Company]. A lifelong passion for classical music soon urged him to focus more specifically on organs. Between 1964 and 1967, John apprenticed with two leading American pipe organ builders at the time, [a=Fritz Noack] and [a=Charles Fisk]; he then served as a journeyman for [a=Rudolf von Beckerath] in Hamburg, Germany (1967–68). In 1977, they mutually agreed to dissolve the partnership; Brombaugh relocated to Eugene, Oregon, where he continued working under the new name, John Brombaugh & Associates, Inc., until his retirement in 2005. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Verona Beach | Verona Beach was synonymous for the violent setting in which the passionate love story of Romeo and Juliet takes place. Violence and passion also can be found in the sound and stage performance of Verona Beach. Influenced by bands like Killswitch Engage, Slayer, Lamb of God and Underoath the band created their own hybrid of metal and hardcore. The band played numerous shows with bands like Walls of Jericho and Face Tomorrow. In the year 2003 the band released a 3 song demo that was very well received. The demo was reviewed as following in the famous underground 'zine HeartAttack: Verona Beach comes out with both guns blazing for their first 3-song demo. This band's angry metal style was present in every note, in every beat, and in every scream. Tight guitar riffs and punishing vocals throughout these songs fit well with the continuous heavy drumming. Like many bands of this genre, drama gets infused in moments of harmony and operatic vocals. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Lonesome Travelers | 'To sum up the Lonesome Travelers, John Thomas Griffith says the laid-back acoustic duo (Griffith along with Paul Sanchez) is just about “American folk music in general.” Quite the change from the pair’s day job: playing guitar in the legendary Southern rock band Cowboy Mouth. Sanchez and Griffith forged ties in the mid-‘80s in the New Orleans music scene. Griffith was then a member of punk group the Red Rockers, and Sanchez, a guitarist in the Backbeats. “We’d always talk about writing songs together and nothing would come of it,” Griffith remembers. The duo eventually began writing songs at Sanchez’s house and putting acoustic club shows featuring their folksy/country/rock blend, but the Travelers were put on hold when Cowboy Mouth was born with lead singer/drummer Fred LeBlanc and original bassist Steve Walters. During a rare break in the demanding Cowboy Mouth schedule, however, the Lonesome Travelers were resurrected.' | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Gary Russell Wertz | Gary Russell Wertz (GRW) started his musical career as a youngster in the New York Punk scene of the early 1980s. At 20, Gary joined the quirky pop combo the Mommyheads. He spent the 1990s in the artistic firmament of the Bay Area scene, playing drums for the psych-noise groove music disaster known as Mars Bonfire. The dawn of the 21st Century saw Gary emerged as lead singer and creative force behind the “classic rock” inspired band Hot Mute. The “Aughts” also saw the release of his first solo album (The Natural) under the initials “GRW” – producing, writing and playing every instrument. 2007 heralded the beginning of an intense musical relationship with the fine artist and songwriter Kyle Ranson. Recording as Strawberry Smog, they released "Purgatorious"", "2 & 3" and 2018’s "Forevers", all produced by Gary. In 2011, another GRW L.P., the hard rock inspired “Wet Rocks” emerged on the desert rock label Treasure Craft. Gary has had a long and fruitful collaboration with David Catching of Eagles of Death Metal fame, recording at Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, Ca.- contributing several tracks to Catching’s solo L.P. “Shared Hallucinations Pt.1” Gary produced many artists at his Sacred Dog Studios, including the reggae of Desmond George Smith, art rock band Arms + Legs, the spooky folk duo Pale Horse and, under pseudonyms, two stylistically different solo records: the electro-pop “Secret Projex” in 2016 and Beatlesque “Beat The Orphans” in 2015. In 2018, Gary and Sacred Dog Studios relocated to Nashville, with Gary overseeing production on Kyle Ranson’s first solo LP. GRW’s third solo LP, the Country and Rock flavored “Hybrids” will be released in 2020. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Rebekah Bell | While Rebekah teaches full time as a school band teacher, her artistic outlet will always be jazz, through and through. At her core she is a jazz vocalist, performing with various groups around the Yukon, big and small. The real fun of making music begins for Rebekah with smaller jazz combos, as the rehearsals and performances allow for more flexibility and creativity. Working with experienced jazz artists and mentors, Rebekah continuously strives to improve her craft. Her current project is a full-length jazz album produced by Joani Taylor (www.joanitaylor.com) recorded at Armoury Studios with Bob Murphy (piano), Doug Stephenson (bass), and Buff Allen (drums), and sound engineer David Hayes. Artists that have influenced her include Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Holly Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Dinah Washington, Blossom Dearie, Karrin Allyson, and Nancy Wilson. Rebekah is firmly entrenched in the styles that fall under the jazz umbrella. From bossa novas by Jobim, to blues tunes by The Beatles, to jazz standards by Jimmy van Heusen, her love of jazz and her familiarity with the vast array of songs and styles have given her a feel for jazz that is evident in her voice, sense of timing, phrasing, ever present groove, and her understanding of the fundamental drive in her art. | |

I’m passionately anti religious and I care alot about the mental aspect that I try to pass on with my music, I regard my music as really focussed on the mental aspect. All I can say is that I experienced total freedom in making the album, I hope the listener experiences the same freedom interpreting it. Let the album be a soundtrack to our introspective journey in life..!'' - Piet van Rhijn |

| Search | Add | 2 | Mirjam van Dam | Mirjam Davida van Dam | From 1992 to 1993, Mirjam van Dam studied Contemporary Music Theatre at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. From 1993 to 1999, she studied vocals (department jazz & light music) at the Hilversum Conservatory and the Amsterdam Conservatory and graduated with honours. A reporter from newspaper Het Parool, who happened to be present, wrote: ‘A shining career in theatre, that’s what Mirjam van Dam deserves’. In 2011, she got her diploma in conducting from the Utrecht Conservatory. After her studies, she sang in various threatre, jazz, pop, bigband, salon, chanson and cabaret ensembles. She toured the Netherlands and Asia together with Laura Fygi, made an album titled Ziel (‘Soul’) and won singer-songwriter contest Mooie Noten. She also sang with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Bernhard Berkhout Orchestra, the New Jazz Orchestra (Henk Meutgeert), Lex Jasper (former conductor, arranger and pianist at the Metropole Orchestra), Rob Agerbeek and many others. She created various musical productions, such as How to get rid of Bette Midler (about second-generation victimhood), Ella (about the life of Ella Fitzgerald), Dead Singers Society (about the lives of Billie Holiday, Etta James, Judy Garland, Janis Joplin, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse) and Let’s Eat! (with Wolf Martini). Together with Jetta Starreveld and Monique de Adelhart Toorop, she created two shows about music during World War II: Door de nacht klinkt een lied (‘A song sounds through the night’; about Conny Stuart, Jetty Paerl and Jetty Cantor) and Hoor de vrouwen zingen (‘Hear the women sing’; about Gisela Söhnlein, Hetty Voûte, Lotty Huffener-Veffer and David Koker). The premiere of Hoor de vrouwen zingen took place at Camp Vught National Memorial. In order to keep singing and reaching an audience during the covid pandemic, she began the project A song and a story. Sitting at the piano, she recorded videos in which she sang a song and told a story about its origin. A new episode was posted on social media each week. Presently, in 2023, she performs Jewish Jazz (a project about the Jewish history of jazz music, set up by Gary Feingold of KunstenDialoog) and is working on a Yiddish music repertoire and CD with Bob Zimmerman. Together with Lex Jasper, there are plans for a CD in Dutch. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Lunar Seas | Lunar Seas are large, dark, basaltic plains on Earth's Moon, formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. They were dubbed "seas", by early astronomers who mistook them for actual seas. They are less reflective than the "highlands" as a result of their iron-rich composition, and hence appear dark to the naked eye. The project of Moscow based artist P.Mkhlv represents his experiments with acoustic and electronic sound sources in field of landscape, cinematic, adorably dark and slow-motion sides of music. | |
