Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 28/01/2025
Found 600568 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | The Pretty Shirts | The Pretty Shirts was formed in A Guarda (Pontevedra, Galicia, Spain) in 2009 when members coming from prior bands decided to join in order to create raw and straight R'n'R willing to step on every stage they'll find along their way After two years of rehearsals and gigs in Galicia and Portugal, The Pretty Shirts went into the studio (October 2011) and they cut their debut EP "So good to be right here", containing 5 intense R'n'R and garage rock recorded nearly live at the studio. After hitting the road and many gigs, a year later, David Baz (founder bassist) decided to quit and the band focused in writing new songs searching for harder sounds while looking for the right replacement for the bassist vacancy. 2013 The Pretty Shirts went back to the stages, having in mind the release of a new album. In June, 2014 the band releases an advance single entitled “Ain’t no another love song” In April, 2015 they tape a self-titled long play in Baixo Miño Estudios. The record features 8 tracks reflecting on one hand the energy the band delivers playing live, but in the other hand the quietest side of themselves, which was not present on prior recordings. The band is currently formed by members: Miguel D. Lomba (vocals), Miguel Castro (guitar and backing vocals), Álvaro Vázquez (bass) y Manuel González (drums and backing vocals)

Search | Add | 2 | Velho Homem | Velho Homem is a newly formed project comprised of Afonso Dorido (indignu, Homem em Catarse) and Francisco Silva (Old Jerusalem, The June Carriers), born from an artistic residence at Estúdio Perpétuo during the covid-19 pandemic. Born out of 10 field recordings, each serving as inspiration for a different song, the compositions in Espuma dos Dias now serve as the soundtrack to our daily lives, leading us to slow down and, just like the duo during their travels throughout the country, to actively listen to the sounds around us.

Search | Add | 2 | Pat Mendoza | Patrick Mendoza was an internationally celebrated storyteller and troubadour whose tales drew upon his American Indian heritage, his interest in Western history and his empathy for military veterans. Mendoza, who had a round face and eyes that disappeared into crinkles when he smiled, called himself a Lepricano. His maternal grandparents were Indian and Irish, and his father was from Cuba. Mendoza grew up in Key West, Fla., and Denver, where he graduated from South High School and Metropolitan State College. Mendoza’s storytelling career grew out of a gig at Gussie’s, a now-defunct Westminster steakhouse where he sang folk, opera and popular songs. Mendoza went on to become one of the Denver storytelling conference’s most popular presenters. He taught himself to play the six- and 12-string guitars, the Celtic flute and the Native American flute, and began recording storytelling sessions in which he accompanied himself musically.

Search | Add | 2 | Der Totmacher | Conny Reim | Totmacher aka Prof. Death aka Shoking-Head. |

Ada Rave from Argentina, Marta Warelis from Poland and Yung-Tuan Ku from Taiwan met each other in the playground of the vibrant Amsterdam improvised scene, and have been working together since October 2016. Incorporating elements of humour, they explore improvisation in its purest form, mixing strong melodies and noise with big doses of space, silence, lyricism and rhythm, sometimes going into meditative states where time dissolves into breathing cycles and tides of the sea.

Search | Add | 2 | Leilolai | Leilolai was a New York City-based, alternative, experimental and progressive indie duo and one of the most unique bands that was part of the independent underground scene in Brooklyn (Williamsburg and Bushwick) in the late 2000's, this city in an influential era in music, fashion, art and culture. The duo was composed of lead vocalist, percussionist Christina Cáceres, who was formerly known as a Salsa music artist; and bass guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer Lesly Kühr, who worked as an in-demand session musician/engineer and touring bassist for bands such as Zuco 103 before he founded Leilolai together with Christina. Leilolai performed all over N.Y.C. in numerous venues, warehouse parties, and was invited to play live on independent freeform radio station WFMU, and featured on Japanese national TV for NHK program 'New York Wave', and was invited by Werner "Zappi" Diermaier from German krautrock band Faust to do a special guest appearance at their show in a venue in Belgium and performed their song "Medicated Nation" from Leilolai's then upcoming album "Secrets, Gold, Evergreen", being joined on stage by the band Faust. They composed, wrote, arranged, and produced their own music and self-released three albums [from 2007 to 2010].
