Discogs artists that do not appear to exist in MusicBrainz

Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026

Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.

The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.

These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.

Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.

Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.

There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.

One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report

We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.

Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?

Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search Add 2 Dubmasters Marcos Fernandez and Maxi Cayon DUBMASTERS is a live act from Argentina, formed by Marcos Fernández (Guitars, Bass, Synths, Arrangements) and Maxi Cayón (Drum Programming, Sequencing, Ableton Live). They have been playing and touring extensively in South America, Mexico and California for the past seven years and now they are focused in the studio to finish their debut LP by July 2018. Their history together goes back to the 80's when Maxi's father was the owner of the local record store, and also the DJ at the hometown's nightclub Aquelarre, an extremely fancy rendition of Studio 54. Growing up to the sounds of Black Power funk, Psychedelic Disco and Techno from the old world, Maxi and Marcos develop a sharp taste for groove that translates easily into their music. Playing together since 1989, their carrer evolved along the House Music Scene and they quickly became renowned for their eclectic extended dj sets. With a constant urge to express more truly their musical vision, by the year 2008, it seamed natural to shift into performances including live instrument overdubs, rhythm machines and endless analog delays... and almost inadvertedly, DUBMASTERS was born. With three releases hitting hard on dancefloors all over the world, whether it's Tokyo, London, San Francisco or Buenos Aires, the DUBMASTERS SOUND is hear to stay. Supporters include DJ Rocca, Daniele Baldelli, Prins Thomas, Eddie C, LTJ Experience, OOFT!, Salvatore Stallone, Garth, Jeno, Tim Sweeney and many more.

Search Add 2 Inconsolable Ghost “tapping into signals from beyond, broadcasting into haunted cinemas…” Inconsolable Ghost is an occult audio-visual group produced by Hilary Jeffery and Gideon Kiers, former members of The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation. Conjuring up a twenty-first century vision of spiritism and occupying a similarly spooky territory as Kilimanjaro / Fuji, this project works with several well known artists who are conceived as channellers of energies, atmospheres, ghosts, spirits, thought forms and other entities. Inconsolable Ghost live shows are deeply atmospheric channelling events, as anyone who witnessed their early channelling events can testify to. The first channelling took place at OT301 – the old film academy in Amsterdam – there followed two Central European tours in 2014 and 2015 which brought the group to Vienna, Bratislava, Topolcany, Budapest, Ostrava and Zagreb. These tours featured collaborations with the Japanese filmmaker Makino Takashi, the Hungarian viola player Zsolt Sőrés, the Berlin duo Hacklander \ Hatam and the Australian cellist Anthea Caddy. Since 2014, the invited channellers have been: Zsolt Sőrés (Ahad) – viola, electronics, voice Anthea Caddy – cello Charlotte Cegarra – voice, computer Colin Hacklander – drums Farahnaz Hatam – computer Alfredo Genovesi – guitar, electronics Miodrag Gladović – guitar, computer Hilary Jeffery – trombone, electronics, voice Gideon Kiers – computer, electronics, video Ralf Meinz – live sound, electronics Gianpaolo Peres – voice Makino Takashi – film, sound Raphael Vanoli – guitar, electronics

Search Add 2 Cheo Martinz Cheo Martinz Internos explores confinement sensations, voluntarily confinement, even worse, indicating the initiation of resignation of a hellish emotional cycle that starts ironically with hope; The initiating point where everything starts, you see opportunities, the great ideas show up and with them the one thousand and one ways to make then up. Everything illuminates, and in a creative climax point the limits arrive, the barriers, the borders trying to limit every dream. With courage they face themselves and after and intense resistance battle, the resignation arrives, advising, nearly whispering small suggestions based on past and frustrated experiences. And everything starts again: hope, frustration, resignation. Hope, frustration, resignation. And this immense, beautiful and macabre battlefield, as incredible it may be, has not gone out from your thoughts, there in your mind./Cheo Martinz credits

Search Add 2 Separate Voice Separate Voice started four years ago when Jeff Thompson (rhythm guitar, vocals), Joe Anderson (bass guitar), and I (Paul Harrell)(drums)started jamming. All three of us had no prior experience with music. Then Colin Day joined the band shortly after. He had played with another band before, called Captivity. The four of us then started to play parties and shows around our area with bands like Disbelief, Driveshaft, Brother's Keeper, and Bendigera. We played a hardcore type style around that time. We put out 2 demos during that time. One was recorded in my basement and the other was recorded at L.S.P. This went on for about a couple years until we seemed to become bored with the hardcore style. At this point, Nick Webster (turntables, vocals) joined the band. We played a record-breaking Spalding talent show under the name "The Frat Boys". From then on, we became much more of a hip-hop/funk band. Colin was still very much into the hardcore scene at this time. He formed a side-project band, Persevere, a hardcore, Christian rock group. We became more interested in different styles of music and music in general. We played some more shows with Epstein, Fawcett, Code Blue, Hundred Dollar Bill (now Challenger Commission) and some other bands. We also played a sold-out school dance and "Fine Arts Day" at our school. We've all graduated from High School now. Colin has decided he's more into hardcore than the hip-hop type thing we got going so he's joined Persevere full-time. We wish him the best of luck. Brian Crusse is our new lead guitarist and he's doing great. We hope to record soon and start playing some more shows to start the next era of Separate Voice. Update (4/5/98): Musical "creative differences" has caused a spilt between us and Brian. He's looking for more of a jam-type band with more of an emphasis on musical complexity (or sumtin like dat). Matt Kellough has moved in on percussion (bongos, congas) and Jeff has become the sole guitarist. Brian still chills and he's still definately our boy. Matt's doing amazing. And the evolution continues...

Search Add 2 The Skopes Growing up, high school friends Buddy Good and James Marvell would while away the hours in Brandon, Florida singing and writing songs together. Buddy & James wrote many songs during their teenage years and even had songs published by The Isley Brothers’ publishing company in New York. It was during this time that James and Buddy formed there first band together The Skopes. In 1965 Buddy happened to run into John Centinaro, the manager of a local record store, in Tampa, called Ron's Record Shop. Buddy invited Centinaro over to hear the bands garage rehearsals and he liked what he heard. Thanks to John the band started recording at an early age. John was also instrumental in getting there single "She's Got Bad Breath" & "Tears In Your Eyes", issued in the summer of 1967 on the USA label out of Chicago. The song features John and company doing a "mersey beat" spoof on the A side, with a decent mid tempo song on the B Side. Unfortunately for the band the Scope Mouthwash Company didn't see the funny side of "She's Got Bad Breath" and banned the song. It was this decision that forced the duo to change their group name to The Surprize.

She’s been known to favor a dab of “edge” in her personal brand of country music, whether we talk about her strong and direct “women first” lyrics to some of her more robust songs . You’ll find Andie to be somewhere between Shania Twain and Miranda Lambert but there’s no mistaking it: this country girl is definitely rock’n roll and she wouldn’t have it any other way. In 2013 Andie was a contestant of the hit TV show “La Voix”, Quebec’s version of “The Voice”, where she was a strong semi -finalist.

Search Add 2 Robert T. Reilly US author (1923-2004). From bethlehembooks.com: Robert (Bob) T. Reilly was born in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1923. During World War II, he enlisted in the Army and saw service as a First lieutenant with the 78th Division in Europe. He was a POW for six months, and received numerous decorations. After the war Reilly completed his Ph.D. at Boston University. Reilly's Irish interests involved the American Committee for Irish studies and the Irish American Cultural Institute, where he held a national directorship. Reilly lived in Ireland and also led tours there from 1966. It was when he was teaching Irish Literature at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, that he had the inspiration to write Red Hugh. "I did it as a bet with myself that I could write a book," he recalled. His first attempt at the story of Hugh O'Donnell was rejected by a publisher, so he tossed the manuscript out and started over. This time the tale was successful and became the first of several historical fiction books (Irish Saints, Fighting Prince of Donegal, Rebels in the Shadows). Having married Jean McKenzie of Omaha, Nebraska after World War II, Reilly and his wife had ten children and many grandchildren. Robert Reilly died in 2004.

Search Add 2 Flash Bathory Born: 1989 Died: September 3, 2008 Guitar sensation Flash Bathory began strumming at age 13, rapidly picking up techniques without any formal training including sweeping arpeggios, 8-finger tapping and slide guitar. By 16, her passion led to lessons with virtuoso Mike Guerrero (Deathriders, Hellion, Carmine Appice), helping to refine her raw talent into a speedy, precise hybrid of neoclassical metal leads (ala Randy Rhoads) and aggressive punk pulsings in the vein of The Misfits. Flash was first endorsed at age 15 by Minarik Guitars, followed by Tregan Guitars, Coffin Case, Luna Guitars and AXL. In ’02, ’03 and ’06 she hit the road for Warped Tour playing her own solo set, as well as guest spots for New Found Glory, Sugarcult, Vendetta Red and many others. At 18 Flash has completed her first EP of original compositions, “Scars and Bruises.”
