Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Heptones Expression | Singers Jackie Bernard, Telford Nelson & Leroy Sibbles who used this once-off name for the 1975 song "Callie Weed" produced by Harry J. From the official TRS Reissue and according to Telford Nelson who sang and wrote "Callie Weed": Jackie Bernard from the group Kingstonians is, in fact, the soulful voice driving this iconic song. Teaming up with Bernard, are friends Telford "Tilly" Nelson and Leroy Sibbles who contribute unique background vocals that effortlessly enhance Bernard's emotive delivery. Coming together to provide the instrumental backdrop was the Soul Syndicate band, enhancing the composition's depth. Reflecting on the creation of "Callie Weed," Telford Nelson vividly recalls auditioning the song on his guitar for producer Harry J in 1975. Before the official recording, Harry J reached out to Leroy Sibbles (who had just returned from living abroad in Canada) in hope to enrich the track with his distinctive backing vocals. This collaborative effort resulted in a dynamic blend, showcasing the different vocals and musical elements. It's important to note that the record was initially attributed to the 'Heptones Expression,' likely for marketing reasons. However, in reality it was Telford Nelson's composition from the beginning. As the only member of the actual Heptones involved in this recording, Leroy Sibbles contributed by providing a subtle touch of backing vocals, even though Nelson's harmonies takes precedence in the final mix following Jackie Bernard's lead. Remarkably, on the Dub side, Telford's vocals are isolated in the mix, resulting in a clear and distinct presence. | |

During the same year, he also performed in Rio de Janeiro and Santiago de Chile. In 1914, he appeared at the Teatro Payret in Havana as Radames in Aida, Manrico in Il Trovatore, Riccardo in Un Ballo in Maschera, and again as Canio in Pagliacci. In 1912, he performed in London at the Kingsway Theatre, once more as Manrico in Il Trovatore. In 1913 and 1916, he guested at La Scala as Radames in Aida. In 1919, he sang at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa in the premiere of the opera Alba Eroica by Monleone. Throughout his career, De Tura also performed in Monte Carlo (1909), Lisbon (1909), Turin (1907), Palermo (1908), Parma (1911), Genoa (1912), Rome (1918), and Barcelona. Later, he became active as a vocal pedagogue. | Search | Add | 2 | BDaMan | Bryce Foster | BDaMan (born Bryce Foster), is a Hip-Hop artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota who commonly raps with his older stepbrother, B.Allen as S.O.S. (Speed of Sound). To stand out from other up and coming rappers, he blends & bends all genres of music to mesh with his lyrical and conscious style of lyrics. BDaMan started rapping in 2004 when he heard his other friends rapping. He decided he wanted to try it as well, so he started freestyling in middle school and making CDs. When he got to high school, he got lots of criticism about his rapping, but he managed to use it to get better, which made his peers at school respect him more. BDaMan always looks for ways to transcend into new types of music and new ways to present himself to people. With high hopes, big creativity and a new strive for lyrical charisma; the future looks bright for BDaMan. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Teatro Valdoca | The Valdoca Theatre company – founded in the early eighties - is the result of the collaboration between Cesare Ronconi, director, and [a=Mariangela Gualtieri], poet and playwright. Born as a collective, the Collettivo Valdoca was a music and theatre company whose members had no defined roles. The two founders' interest for theatre developed in the seventies, when, thanks to a grant, Ronconi and Gualtieri came in contact in Poland with Kantor's works before his company, Cricot, came to Italy, participated in Wroclaw in the unforgettable Tree of People by Grotowski’s Laboratory Theatre and attended the play Apocalypsis cum Figuris performed by Grotowski’s group of actors. In the same period, in the US, they came to know the experiences of Peter Shumann with his Bread and Puppet Theater and the works of [a=Bob Wilson], [a=Richard Foreman] and the [a=Squat Theatre], recently arrived from Hungary. For the founders, however, the most surprising figure and most important point of reference was already then [a=Carmelo Bene]. Those years were characterised by a strong restlessness whose outlets were solitary travels around the world (Brazil, Burkina Faso, Spain, North America) and a long stay of the whole company in a small village in Tanzania. Since its beginnings, the company collaborated closely with the most appreciated artists of the time: mainly painters, sculptors, composers and musicians. A particular care was also devoted to the sound amplification set-up. In 1985 Valdoca, after meeting the poet Milo De Angelis, founded a Poetry School directed by him. Through the school, during its three editions, the company met with the major Italian poets: Fortini, Luzi, Bigongiari, Loi, Cucchi, Sicari, Rosselli, Merini, Majorino and others. It’s after these meetings and as a result of other defining personal experiences that Mariangela Gualtieri started writing verses, suspending her role as actress and acquiring that of playwright, while Cesare Ronconi coupled his direction with an unbroken pedagogical activity which would allow him to train directly its actors and dancers. The most distinctive trait of Valdoca's poetic is the epic character of its actors, always reaching for the super-human and the sub-human, thus stretched between hero and divinity on one side and animality, infancy and deformity on the other; by their renounce to a narrative, to social themes, current affairs and news. The actor, then, is often a dancing body, whose voice, movement and stillness is heavily loaded with expressivity. Beside the decisive role of the actor, there’s the peculiarity of the word given to him: a word that’s always poetic verse, unprecedented, fitting with the written direction, a verse often written in close proximity to the stage and to the demands of direction. The frequent presence of live music, the attention to the scene’s present, the simplicity of the projects, together with the characteristics mentioned above, transform the company’s performances into events loaded with ritual qualities, where the interplay between the scene's forces and energies lead the audience inside the experience of its vision and convert the public into a participating and listening community. | |

From Akron, OH with hate, PH's intention was quite simply to make the most extreme, heaviest music that we could come up with and to pay homage to the most extreme bands we loved, like Napalm Death, Soilent Green, Carcass, Anal Cunt, Brutal Truth and so many more. | |
