Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Yvan Acosta | Edison Yvan Acosta | Yvan Acosta is a Dominican musician and producer who, alongside his brother Raul Acosta “El Presidente”, formed the internationally acclaimed merengue band Oro Sólido. Born in Barahona, Dominican Republic on July 30, 1965, Yvan was born into a musical family. His father Rafael “Santo” Acosta was a percussionist. And he and his younger brothers Rafael and Raul started a pre-adolescent music group called "Los Sobrinos Del Rey" a Dominican version of the Jackson 5. With this early experience, Yvan was able to further develop his innate musical talent as well as his stage presence. The group went on to perform in two nationally televised shows on the government TV station, channel four, for a show called "Amarillis con los Niños.” As a teen, the family relocated to the United States. With no English skills, Yvan moved to Union City, New Jersey to start his new life. During his high school days at Emerson High School, Yvan began performing güira with local bands, such as “Los Quisqueyanos”, “Kennedy y sus Generales”, merengue singer Fauto Rey and “Willy y El Grupo”. He later begain his studies in music and bass guitar by joining Kennedy's Music World, a local music studio, school, and store, where he met a teacher named Kennedy Cortina. Throughout his 30-year career, Yvan has recorded and performed with Oro Solido. His bass is the original sound that made the group famous, and he is considered a trailblazer for implementing this style of merengue on the bass when the group was founded in 1994. He continues to perform with the group internationally and is well respected in the Latin music industry. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Humareda | Humareda was born in the summer of 2005 when Roger and Jordi, two old friends of the highschool, meet again to share some of the songs they have been composing during a period of reflection. Wanting to do something interesting with them, comes the idea of recruiting people who are willing to take this project forward. The first to join is Albert, who starts playing the flamenco cajón and some more percussion. The three alternate the trials between Ruché's house, in the neighborhood of La Sagrera, and Valldonzella 12, an old squatted farm where numerous social activities are organized. Soon after Tomy, playing the electric bass, and Gerard, playing the cajón. In this way they transfer the tests in Villa Elvira, a little house located in La Floresta, where Albert and Tommy share the roof. With this formation, on April 16, 2006 they perform their first concert, precisely in Valldonzella 12, when the eviction and subsequent demolition of the farm is announced. From now on they begin to go through the stages of some inhospitable places and some greater neighborhood festivity. When Albert decides to devote more to the drums and leave the cajón in second place, La Floresta is left to rehearse regularly in the bucs of the Garcilaso Center in La Sagrera. In addition, Jordi Bigay, a friend of the group that records all the concerts, joins until December 1, 2007, opens in Sant Andreu as a smoke more. With it you get a cooler and lively live, since it has full mobility on the stage and puts all the nose and salt shaker necessary. In November 2008, an initiative of Jaume Capella, a great friend of Humareda who acts as a manager of the group, becomes a reality: the contribution to the Festival of the Sant Andreu de Palomar neighborhood, composing a song that becomes the hymn of this party. Tots Al Carrer! It sounds in all the acts and parades of the neighborhood. Finally, people have the possibility to listen to it and sing it live at the concert given by Humareda in the big tent of Can Fabra on December 7, 2008. Due to the good acceptance that the song has, the band decides to make promotional CDs that , apart from Tots Al Carrer !, includes Solterín Solterón, and gives them to a large part of the people who will see them, thus becoming the first model of the group. In addition, it is in this concert that also premieres screenings made by Antyproductions (www.antyproductions.org), a small production company that collaborates to enrich the live performance of the group. After several concerts, the summer of 2009 is closed in studio to record Maketeando, the second model, which includes 6 songs recorded in La Universal, plus a song recorded in Café Con Leche Records. Finally, Maketeando comes out in January 2010 and is presented in concert on the 15th of the same month at the Garcilaso Center in La Sagrera. After many concerts in Barcelona and nearby, the summer of 2011, Ger decides to leave the group and Alejandro enters instead. That translates into an opportunity to experience a new sound. With him, during the last months of 2011, they have begun to register the third model of the group. New congas sound, guitars with effects, new rhythms and melodies, more percussion and new bass lines. | |

The music is heavily inspired by rock and metal, although crossing many genres, and also features acoustic songs. Influences include bands and artists like Avenged Sevenfold, Queensrÿche and Dream Theater. We don’t even see each other; we’re just messaging each other and sending audio tracks across the world, adding our parts and sending them back. Completely Corona Safe, and we still create a musically inspiring environment, as each musician adds his or her own touch to the song. The musical journey starts in Sweden, from where the songs travel across the globe at a steady BPM to a dream team of hand-picked musicians and singers. The performing artists vary from song to song. To this date, we have performing artists, musicians, vocalists and mixing engineers from Sweden, the UK, the US, Argentina, Australia, Ecuador, Cyprus, Germany, Iceland, India, Italy, Poland and Ukraine.

| Search | Add | 3 | Mudguards.. | (The) Mudguards | Active in East London and Essex between ’81 and ’93, and inspired by quintessential English working class entertainment – music hall, skiffle, drinking songs and broadsides – (The) Mudguards’ theme, or rather career-long obsession, was the “commodification of dissent”. In fact what makes their work special, and more resonant today than that of your typical sloganeering anarcho bleater, is their awareness of their own complicity in the things they despise, and all the self-loathing that comes with it. |

Robinson | Reuben “Uncle Bud” Robinson (Born 1860 in White County, Tennessee), was a Methodist Episcopal evangelist, who would later become a part of the Church of the Nazarene, Died 1942. Known for his folk wisdom and colorful phrases, his preaching focused on the message of entire sanctification. His father made whiskey and ran a bar in the hills of White County, Tennessee. “Uncle Bud” grew up in a poor family, one of thirteen children, and did not get an education. After his father’s death, his mother moved the family to Texas, where he fell into a wild life of drinking and gambling. In 1880, he attended a tent revival, was converted, and then joined the Methodist Episcopal Church. It was a Sunday school teacher who taught him how to read at 20 years of age. In the 1890’s he studied at Southwestern University and would become a major influence in the emerging Church of the Nazarene. He experienced the call to preach at his conversion, and despite a bad stutter remained an active evangelist for 60 years |

| Search | Add | 3 | The Jason Martinko Revue | Jason S. Martinko, born April 19, 1979, began writing songs & performing at a very early age. By the 1990s he had played countless solo performances in different bars, clubs, coffeehouses, street corners & other social events. In 1997, after graduating high school in Pittsburgh, Martinko went to Ocean City, Maryland with friend & bassist Nate Fitzgerald, born January 20, 1979. The two made a living playing together on the boardwalk nightly for tips. In time they made quite a name for themselves making headlines in several local newspapers & appearing in a TV commercial for an Ocean City bar. In 1998, they returned to Pittsburgh to record their first album entitled, “Soul Boy”. Martinko & Fitzgerald performed around Pennsylvania, Virginia & Maryland to promote the CD. In 1999, Martinko met drummer Jordan McMillen, born May 5, 1983. McMillen was in a blues band looking for a solo opening act. Martinko played a few solo shows opening up for the blues band. Eventually, Martinko, Fitzgerald & McMillen began to play shows as a three-piece band. In 2000, McMillen left his blues band & The Jason Martinko Revue was born. The band would perform in countless seedy bars & roadhouses over the next few years. They went through many musicians including lead guitarists, sax & trumpet players. The three-piece core stayed the same. They began to record a new album. In 2003, The Jason Martinko Revue released a self-titled album that would sell hundreds of copies. They appeared in many local Pittsburgh newspapers & on several TV commercials. In early 2003, the band also began to film a horror movie they had written as an attempt to better promote their band. The film, “Gone The Way Of Flesh” was finished in 2006 & is scheduled to be released by Troma Entertainment on DVD worldwide in early 2007. In 2004, Larry Tamburri, born September 19, 1958 & Joe Maryanski, born July 1, 1981 joined The JMR on trumpet & tenor sax. Their gritty, authentic rhythm’n’blues horn arrangements would complete The JMR sound. The band continued to play in bars & juke joints along the East Coast. In 2005, Nate Fitzgerald left The JMR & was temporarily replaced by Craig Bolton. With the original three-piece core broken, the band struggled to find a permanent replacement. Around this time, the band began playing several different strip clubs around Pittsburgh. With the hype of their name & movie, “Gone The Way Of Flesh” building up, they began to acquire many hardcore fans. In 2006, The Jason Martinko Revue began recording their next album which will be released on Bonedog Records. They recorded at the Mojo Boneyard Studio based out of McKeesport, PA. Craig Bolton played bass on the album, but would soon be replaced by Mike “Ollie” Osborne, born October 3, 1980. Steve Jacobs, born November 18, 1966 also replaced Joe Maryanski on tenor sax. The JMR started production on their second feature film, “Gone The Way Of Flesh II: Fresh Bloody Flesh”. Their production company is called, Cut’N’Run Productions. The Jason Martinko Revue continues to tour, promoting their one-of-a-kind style of rock’n’roll music that relates to people of all ages & colors. With their wide range of combined styles, no foot has gone untapped during any of their performances, yet their style has still gone unclassified. They truly are a category of their own. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Knurrhahn | This instrumental duo is dedicated to conversations between instrumental and electronic sound waves. It is a meeting of two musicians developing an improvised dialogue which melts sonic textures and musical gestures into manifestations of movement and stillness. Their aim is to lead the audience towards a practice of active listening within various figurations between silence and noise. The sublime timbres of the Paetzold-Recorder and other reed instruments meet pulsating oscillators, abstract sound layers and noise elements from analog and digital electronic instruments. This results in expressive to meditative acoustic formations with vigorous effect on the recipient. | |

He has recorded and performed with such diverse artists as beat poet Ruth Weiss, the contemporary music ensemble "die reihe", Jazz artists Don Preston, Gary Wittner, Herb Pomeroy, Brad Terry, Tom Snow & numerous others. Gerhard's approach ranges from Jazz, Fusion to Funk and World Music. He also works as an editor and writer for music magazines and hosts a radio show on the Austrian Broadcasting Network ORF. While maintaining a busy performing schedule, Gerhard is currently teaching at Vienna Music Schools. He divides his time between Vienna/Austria and Portland/Maine. Reviews: "...stylized playing where Eastern European melodies clash with energetic American-style spontaneity. The instrumental configuration is unique. Combining the accordion with electronics and placing them im the same arena with heavy back-beat drumming and free wheeling alto blowing results in a conglomeration that cannot be neatly slotted into a musical category......." ......." Andreas Felber, Jazzpodium 2/00

The only original member and founder left is [a4012380]. One other original MC is now the crews DJ (DJ Yes). The other MCs are now [a4012378], [a4012383], [a4012376] and [a4012371]. Divine Profitz are a hip-hop group based in Richmond, VA. Originally formed in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1996, the group developed a solid local following before relocating to Richmond in 2000. Divine has constantly been "on the grind," making over 10 albums in 10 years (5 tapes, 5 CDs). Over the past 5 years they performed live throughout the mid-Atlantic region, steadily increasing their fanbase. Opening for acts such as 2 Live Crew, Killah Priest (Wu-tang fam), Heltah Skeltah (Boot Camp), and Wordsworth (among others), Divine has gained respect from every artist they opened for. The main producer for Divine P. is "Chadrach," who is also the creator of the group. Divine's roster has changed over the years, with the exception of Chadrach. "The original emcees in the group were Big Rod, Chadrach, Yes, Lil' Jus, and Freddy Manson. The emcees now are Chadrach, BeenOfficial, CP, Cosmos, and Ran. Yes is now the DJ. Emcees have come and gone, but everybody is still in the "group." Divine is like a family. It's more than music. We've got people in Divine that don't even make music: ESPY, Trail, Big Chris, B Wilson, and mad otha cats make up Divine. We make music for the people, not for commercial reasons. If we make music, it's for the love of hip hop. We aren't selling anything but ideas."

The group, which includes Yarkın Yorulmaz and Tolga Mamur, who have previously been involved in different formations together, tries to reflect the reflections of their feelings and thoughts in their daily lives through the filter of the districts they live in. Their new work "BÜYÜK DUYGULAR EP" uses elements of new wave, post-punk, darkwave, psychedelic rock and other musical styles to summarize the different directions Tuzla can go and the process of finding and shouting Tuzla's voice. By using stories, fictions and their own experiences in their lyrics, the band presents their spiritual world to their listeners in a more vivid, different and "Tuzla style".

| Search | Add | 3 | Heromo Deuce | Heromo Deuce does not define himself as an artist through his real identity but creates it through his music. His debut "Human Machine Love" is therefore the complex result of his passion for music of all kinds. Especially influences of synthpop at the beginning of the 80s as well as drum and bass, big beat and downbeat are unmistakable. Playing piano and classical guitar in his youth encouraged him to write his own songs early on. Right from the start, the focus was always on expressing his own emotions through melodies. After producing several artists and a long creative break, he released his first solo debut, a moving collection of tracks focusing on the current theme of human machine interaction. A new track was created in collaboration with PR8werk. The feeling of being a constant prisoner of time was the inspiration for it. |
