Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 05/01/2026
Found 619583 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Jennifer Ryall | (Biography excerpted with edits from poparchives.com.au) Sydney singer Jennifer Ryall (b.1956, now Jennifer Thomson) was 16 years old when she released Everything's Alright, recorded when she was still 15. Her first recordings were jingles for 2WG, a Wagga Wagga radio station. This led to a prolific childhood career singing jingles for TV commercials, and television appearances. As a result of her success in Sing For Shelley's, a competition run by Sydney radio station 2SM, 15-year-old Jennifer Ryall was signed to Warner Brothers. Her recording of Everything's Alright was used nationally to promote Jesus Christ Superstar and was nominated for Best Female Vocal Single at the Australian Record Awards, in 1972. Colleen Hewitt won with Carry That Weight). She released her second and last single Summer Song in 1973. She then Ryall worked in newsrooms at Sydney radio stations 2WS and Triple M and sang in Sydney venues, solo and in groups, including a stint at Sydney's Comedy Store in the 1980s. She trained as a primary teacher in the late 70s, lived in London for a while, married, and raised two children. As a music teacher, she delivered a schools program for Musica Viva in the 90s. She is still (2020) living in Sydney. Her son is the jazz pianist, composer and arranger Matt Thomson.Full biography at link below. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Cardavercus | Took the name Cardavercus in 1998, and led by ex-Severe Warning founder Bryan Renken and main songwriter Ace The Raven in 1998. Formed from the combination of two previous bands. Renken, led by Renken, Ace, Darrin Winne, and Gary "Meat" Vosecky from 1993 to 1994 (which also recruited Mike Marczak in 1994), and 1996-1997, and an unnamed band of Ace, Scott, and Mike that lasted from 1994 to 1996, before they combined into the new Renken lineup in 1996. This lineup would record a 5 song demo in June of 1997 that includes future-Cardavercus songs. This lineup then changed their name to Cardavercus in early 1998, a name that Ace thought of in August of 1997 and was included in a list of possible band names to change Project Raven to, until this project was put on hold to focus on Renken. Under both names, Renken and Cardavercus, they would end up playing some previous Project Raven songs, and newer Ace-penned songs that he would later bring back his solo project after Cardavercus split up. The 1997 demo included "Immune" and "The Secret (Non Omnis Moriar)" and "Life Will Decay", all past Project Raven songs, and after the name change to Cardavercus they would play these as well as "Free" and "Threshold", "The Dark Plan", "Blinded", "The Unseen" and others, many later recorded on the Ace the Raven album "Fortress of Apathy" in 2005. Cardavercus also even played a cover of Nitefall's "Island of Courage... Sea of Despair", which Project Raven and Ace The Raven both also covered, although both versions are unreleased. During the early days of Renken, 1993-1994 they would play many re-structured Severe Warning songs, as well as future-Cardavercus songs such as "Cold Vengeance", "Water Into Wine" and "Dying Day", as well as future Ace The Raven songs such as "Hell Is Above" and "Journey Into Fear". Cardavercus' recorded their debut 4-song demo in early 1999 and independently released it in spring of the same year. Their official press packs of the era list Venom, Mercyful Fate and Sepultura as some of their influences. In late 1999 they went back into Digitrax Recording Studio and began working on their second CD "Cardavercus II: We Return Again, but unfortunately they split up for good during the recording process and it was never completed. In 2005 Ace The Raven re-issued the demo, with a varied front cover and on an enhanced CD with a bonus QuickTime Video clip of the song "Dying Day", recorded in concert in 1999 from one of shows that Severe Warning bassist Darrin Winne played with them for. This is another song that dates back to Renken rehearsals in 1994. After the Renken/Cardavercus lineup of Renken/Ace/Scott/Mike was established Renken started another band as well, called Bat Rastard. This band included both Renken drummers in the band officially, alongside original Severe Warning bassist, Poyzon-founder, future Cardavercus bassist Darrin Winne, and Bryan Renken on guitars and vocals. Bat Rastard recorded a 3 song demo "Bat Rastard Live at Practice", played live onto on 8-Tracks on July 8th 1997, and soon after played their only 2 live shows, with Greg on drums for one and Scott on drums for the other. After their split Darrin would fill in live for several Cardavercus shows in 1998 and 1999, before officially replacing Mike Marczak in 2000 shortly before the band split up. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Electrotom | Electrotom is Simon Gag and Toby, both from Sweden. Electrotom came about in 1995-96… after about a year of production, the first release hit the unsuspecting world. Electrotom’s “Love Camp Electro” EP was released on Candy Cane Exploitations in 1997. The sound was metallic, twisted, evil and organic at the same time, always with erotic undertones… more vinyl was to follow with that distinct Electrotom sound… Electrotom took a break after the Swedish Erotica release from 1999, they had left their original sound on this release, giving room for a more polished release. Feeling that they had compromised their originality they decided to take a break from music production for a while… this was in the year 2000… Now they’re back and are working intensely on a new album, a 12″ is about to surface on the Candy Cane Exploitations label… this will uncompromisingly be in true Electrotom style… we’re back with a vengeance… | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Ometra | Ometra is a Lugano-based music project offering alternative rock -grunge. Influences include Radiohead, Alice in Chains, and the whole grunge scene with atmospheric overtones in the style of Anathema. In 2017, driven by the desire to start again from the basics, founder Carlo Gervasini (My Stupid Dream, Parole Perse, Doomed Timeline Theory and Beansidhe) starts writing his own songs in the form of 'one man band'. In the recording session he personally takes care of all instruments and vocal parts, accompanied only by the voices of Claudio Lucchini and Giulia Schertler. The first release "Ometra" is in 2019: it gets visibility and a place in the compilation "Confederation Music" managed by Marco Kohler (RSI) with the song "Ahead." This good debut will push the guitarist to believe he can compose better music, with a real band. Thus, in 2020 the writing of new, more dynamic and emotional pieces begins. In 2021, made by a group consisting of Elia Heutschi (drums), Paride Casu (bass), Giulia Schertler and Anastasia Gautschi (vocals), as well as Gervasini on guitars, "We used to look at the stars," recorded and mixed by Stefano Scenini at Stairway Studio in Cimo, sees the light. The work gets further visibility than the previous release and with the track "Crossroads from my Past" OMETRA deservedly returns to feature in the selection of "Confederation Music" . "We used to look at the stars" is an album that helped the project leader accept and embrace the pain, to move forward.... Made in the hope that it will also intercept the feelings of those who have experienced severe suffering during their journey. Choices, the new Album, has been released on April 20th | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Denzil Naar | Denzil Naar | Famous Jamaican illustrator of posters for Dancehall events. His artwork can also be found on various Reggae album covers. Born: 1947 Died: July 2022 From reggaealbumcovers.com: Denzil “Sassafras” Naar is a legend in Dancehall history, who basically defined the way that dancehall events were marketed and promoted. Just like Wilfred Limonious pretty much defined the look and feel of 80s dancehall and reggae record sleeves, it was Sassafras who set the style and standard of the posters promoting dancehall events and sound systems. His work was so distinctive and ubiquitous in the 80s dancehall scene that the language and slang he often employed on his posters became adopted in the dancehalls and by Sound Systems. Denzil “Sassafras” Naar was born in 1947 and was nicknamed after a popular racehorse that used to run at Caymanas Park, Jamaica’s only racecourse, due to his love for horse-racing He started his career in design in 1975 when he started illustrating and creating hand-drawn posters to publicize the latest events, parties, and sound system clashes, for local promoters. He stumbled into poster design as a career when a friend asked Sassafras to design a poster for a dance he was holding, and Sassafras came up with a design that was unlike any others that were currently being made to promote events. His kinetic design style, distinctive lettering, and use of street slang was an instant hit and he quickly established himself as Jamaica’s premier designer for promoters and Sound Systems. At his peak, Sassafras has said that he was working 18 hours days and churning out 15 posters each week. His posters were soon seen all over the island, and his vast body of work is basically now serves as a catalog of artists, sound systems, and events that defined reggae and dancehall music through the 80s – each hand-drawn Sassafras poster was packed with information. The popularity of his posters soon earned him another nickname ‘The People’s Promoter’. Even if you have never heard of Sassafras, but have a working interest in reggae and dancehall music, then you will have seen his style, or at least seen other works that have been heavily influenced by the Sassafras. Sassafras has left his visual signature permanently on reggae and dancehall music. |

In the immediate post-war period, however, she resumed her generalities and sang for a time with Angelini's orchestra. Passed almost immediately with the Mojetta's orchestra, in 1946 she became very well known by launching on the radio THE WALTZ OF CANDLES and PERFIDIA, songs that she recorded with her conductor only in 1947: The first was taken from the soundtrack of the film "The Waterloo Bridge" of 1940, while the second, was treated from the film "Casablanca" of 1942. Despite the beautiful and intoned voice, safe and very well set, her career was rather short: In 1948 she decided to retire. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Gatos Del Mundo | Gatos Del Mundo | [a=Gatos Del Mundo] is an art-punk trio from Croatia. The band was formed in April 2012. Gatos Del Mundo are: [a=Pavle Valerjev], [a=Krešimir Vunić] and [a=Ivan Milin]. All three have played an important role in the Croatian underground music scene. Valerjev and Vunić battled for ten years as members of the noise-rock group [a1567623], while Milin banged the drums as a member of several punk bands (Trn u oku). [a=Gatos Del Mundo] has their own approach to punk rock and their aim is to make it unexpected and exciting. Adopting the aesthetics of hardcore-punk, art-rock, psychedelia and avant-garde composition they create their own unique expression. Besides the standard drum-bass-guitar line-up of every punk trio, they do not hesitate to use electronic loops, synthesizers and vocal effects. Gatos del Mundo’s vibrant approach has already made some impact on the local scene. August 2013 saw the release of their Transmitter EP. Right now they are planning their first LP release. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Marilyn Puskarich | Marilyn J. "Chee Chee" Puskarich Repasky | Marilyn J. “Chee Chee” Puskarich Repasky was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Mildred (Kirasic) Puskarich. She was raised on a farm in Plum Boro, Pennsylvania. The entire Puskarich family was deeply involved in tambura music. All six of the sisters learned to play tambura as children, and two of the sisters are currently in the TAA Hall of Fame. Marilyn was influenced by her sisters Caroline and Rose and followed them into the Duquesne Tamburitzans. Marilyn has used both her experiences as a “Tammie” and the Bachelor’s degree in Education she earned at Duquesne throughout her life. After graduation, Marilyn married John Repasky and this happy union led to three talented children, all lovers of tambura music. All three children – Jennifer, Michael, and Stephen – attended Duquesne University. Jennifer later used her “Tammie” experience to assist Marilyn in directing the Golden Triangle Junior Tamburitzans and son Stephen became a Junior Tamburitzan instructor. Marilyn has shared her love of playing tambura music and dancing kolos with students of all ages for over 30 years. She has directed, danced with and choreographed for innumerable performing groups in both Detroit and in several cities in Pennsylvania. In Detroit, she joined the Detroit Tamburitza Orchestra has both a player and a featured vocalist. In Pennsylvania, Marilyn has served as choreographer and vocal instructor for a series of junior groups, including the Trafford Junior Tamburitzans of Pittsburgh, Rankin Junior Tamburitzans, and Duquesne Junior Tamburitzans. Marilyn’s instruction has emphasized the importance of equipping students with the skills and knowledge they will need on stage and at social functions, but equally importantly, she has provided those under her guidance with a background and awareness of her culture and heritage. Marilyn also shares her talents and knowledge with more mature enthusiasts. For the last 20 years, Marilyn has been the instructor of Pittsburgh’s first adult kolo class. Marilyn is also an accomplished performer. Closest to her heart is her opportunity to sing with Orchestra Veseli. Performing and recording with Veseli has allowed Marilyn to sing with her sister Rose, and work with her brother-in-law Fred Husnick along with Ron Rendulic, all three TAA Hall of Fame members. Other credits include a recording with Orchestra Biseri (Orchestra Biseri featuring Marilyn Repasky), a recording with Orchestra Zabava, an Ensemble Festival recording consisting of Duquesne University Tamburitza alumni, performing with Zvonko Bogdan, Jerry Grcevich, George “Butchy” Kresovich, Chuck Cubelic, and Steve Wagner. Marilyn J. “Chee Chee” Repasky has spent a lifetime promoting, performing and pursuing knowledge of the instrumental and vocal music and dances of the tambura. She has sought only the highest quality in both her personal performance and the performances of those she directs. She has taken her own God-given talent and combined it with an amazing work ethic to create a unique, distinctive sound. She has introduced hundreds of players, singers and dancers to the world of tamburitza music and dance. Marilyn’s influence can be seen in those who are playing and dancing today because of her efforts. Perhaps the most significant are those not learning from Marilyn directly, but instead from her former students who are now directing their own groups of players, singers and dancers. There can be no greater legacy than to have children you taught grow up enjoying those lessons so much that they in turn pass on the knowledge to a new generation. |
