Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 29/07/2025
Found 602638 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

Search | Add | 2 | Krisdeberg | Krisdeberg are an electronic four piece formed at a party in Moby's house from Dublin. Krisdeberg formed after a chance meeting at a party in Moby’s house, still high on orange juice and vintage drum machine grooves. The newly bonded four-piece seized this moment of karmic kismet and resolved to make some music. Drawing on influences ranging from LCD Soundsystem all the way to James Murphy, Krisdeberg are a completely self-produced, self-recorded project. Locked away in their studio and armed with synthesisers, drums/machines and some noise; they began work on their first collection of songs. Months of work have resulted in the release of their debut single Lies. A snap-shot our all too common habit of deceiving ourselves set against a rhythmic, synth driven soundscape. Lies is available on Spotify, iTunes and all major streaming services and stores.

Search | Add | 2 | Kapiko | Kapiko was founded in early 2012 by the Turkish Kaval player Batuhan Aydın, the Austrian composer/pianist Nikolaus Grill and the Turkish composer/bass player Neyzen Özsarı. Aydın, Grill and Özsarı first met working on a project for Istanbul Technical University's Turkish Music State Conservatory. In the sequel, the trio decided to continue to work together. After just a short period of time, the mixture of sounds resulting from this collaboration, a smooth combination of sounds from Anatolia and the Balkans and central European and African sounds with influences form jazz and even baroque music, had proven itself to be addictive! Kapiko's line-up was complete when electric guitarist Ozan Erkan and drummer Riccardo Marenghi and percussionist Alikaan Uysal joined the band just after 2016. [i]"Kapiko has managed to make itself heard in the abundance and diversity of the Istanbul music scene in just a short period of time. The band likes to play with fortified musical concepts, and attracts the attention of those who listen to it with a creative and extraordinary approach to music. It would be wrong to affiliate Kapiko with the whole bunch of east-west synthesis projects springing up like mushrooms these days. Kapiko is an eclectic mix bearing influences of musical styles form all over the world. To make things short: Listening to the music of Kapiko means to question one's established musical understanding."[/i] -Sandra Sinsch-

Search | Add | 2 | Leffe Carlsson | Leif Carlsson | Swedish artist, living in Slöinge, born March 13, 1947 in Gothenburg. Hiss career began as a singer in the Stockholm group Cheers (1965–1968). Cheers toured both in Sweden and abroad, mainly in Finland. In 1968, the band ended when the parents stopped the gigs, the young people were about to graduate and it was not possible to combine school with tours as you got home late at night. Leif Carlsson was appointed and crowned Sweden's Rockprins (rock prince) of Tyrol at Gröna Lund in 1972. The following summer, Carlsson was Sweden's most booked folk park artist. But then the music career stopped. Carlsson was also in The Swedish Elvis Songcontest in 1993 and toured together with Elvis Presley's original musician, guitarist Scotty Moore and drummer D.J. Fontana. He has also toured together with [a30344]. Carlsson is still active today in various music constellations with a nostalgic connection: RRS-73, The Sixties and Nostalgiresan. He participated in 2011 in TV4 and in, among other things, major galas such as the local radio station Radio Nostalgi's 25th anniversary in 2018 together with Danish Michelle Birkballe. Carlsson was previously also a standing artist feature in [a528343]'s pop galas. |

Search | Add | 2 | NayaBand | NAYABAND is a group that draws its musical essence from the African continent. The group adapts various musical sounds like reggae, dub, blues, jazz, but also African rythms such as mbalakh, soukouss among others. NAYABAND is a musical group created and directed by [a13579603]. Nayaban Jean is a songwriter, presenting and representing multiculturalism and crossbreeding. The leader of the group, Nayaban Jean is from Senegal. He is one of the few artists to have received the teachings and training of troubadours and griots on the traditions and roots of African music. With this musical learning acquired as a basis, he was a member of the Senegalese group Banor-Z. It follows the recording of its first album in 1999, then a musical tour in the Canary Islands. In 2003, Nayaban Jean settled in the Canary Islands where he founded his first group Mystic Vibes. In 2004, the group moved to the Afro Acoustic Experience, and then became Nayaband in 2005. The appearance of the group in the islands will give a fresh air to the local musical panorama, thanks to the knowledge of the African music base of the leader and the heterogeneous and multicultural nature of sounds coming from other continents.
