Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 30/03/2026
Found 621899 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Gary Haywood | Gary Haywood | I am a Singer/Songwriter from Birmingham, UK. Music has always had an influence in my life and I began listening regularly to Artists such as John Lennon & The Beatles at an early age. From discovering The Beatles, I had a Dream of making my own Music one day. I was involved at a young age, in the 80's era, with Music by working for a Record Label, as an Admin Assistant. My Inspiration to live my dream, came from a guy I met at church in 2019 who had a knowledge of Video Creation. This made me see the Bigger Picture of giving my Music a Visual representation on YouTube. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Ninón Sevilla | Emelia Pérez Castellanos | Cuban-Mexican film actress and dancer. Born November 10, 1921 in La Habana, Havana, Cuba. Died January 1, 2015 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. Sevilla was active during the golden age of Mexican cinema. She was considered one of the greatest Cuban stars and the principal exponent of the Rumberas film. Sevilla adopted her stage name in tribute to the legendary French courtesan Ninon de Lenclos. As a youth, she felt the religious vocation, and thought about becoming a missionary nun, but after she started dancing with success in nightclubs and cabarets in Cuba, she opted for a career in show business. Later, she began working in the chorus of the Cuban comedians Mimí Cal (creator of “Nananina”) and Leopoldo Fernández (the famous “Tres Patines” of Cuban radio and television). Sevilla came to Mexico as part of a show starring Libertad Lamarque. Thanks to Sevilla and the musician Kiko Mendive, the musician Dámaso Pérez Prado also came to México and became the so-called “King of mambo”, a rhythm she helped to make popular. On one occasion, the producer Pedro Arturo Calderón saw Sevilla on stage and offered her a contract to work in the films. Her debut in cinema was in 1946 in Carita de Cielo with María Elena Marqués and Antonio Badú. From that moment, Sevilla became the exclusive star of Producciones Calderón. She had offers from studies such as the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Columbia Pictures, but she refused for not being interested in work in Hollywood. Though from the beginning she was marked by the eccentricity of her hairdos and gowns, filmmaker Alberto Gout established her as one of the erotic figures of Mexican cinema. Sevilla was consecrated by Gout’s legendary films Aventurera (1949), Sensualidad (1950), Mujeres sacrificadas (1952) and Aventura en Río (1953). Besides her films with Gout, Ninón also worked with Emilio Fernández “El Indio,” who directed her in one of the best films of their careers, the classic Víctimas del Pecado (1951); Julio Bracho in Llévame en tus brazos (1954); Gilberto Martinez Solares in Mulata (1954) and the comedy Club de Señoritas (1956); and Alfredo B. Crevenna in Yambaó (1956). In the musical Rumberas film Sevilla internationalized the icon of the rumbera like no other of her peers: she was the perfect archetype in several films, in which a “fallen woman” was dignified through dance. She staged the many choreographies of her films, and was the first performer to introduce movements from Santeria rituals in her dances and to recognize the influence of Afro-Caribbean culture in the plots. When she was on top, she had the biggest forums, spectacular sets, dazzling costumes, first-rate technicians and alternated with great figures of Latin American cinema as Joaquín Pardavé, Andrea Palma, Fernando Soler, Pedro Armendáriz, Anita Blanch, Agustín Lara, Domingo Soler, David Silva, Rita Montaner, Ramón Gay, Tito Junco, Andrés Soler, Roberto Cañedo, Fanny Kauffman, René Cardona, Pedro Vargas, Toña la Negra, the trio Los Panchos, Mendive & Perez Prado. By 1950, Sevilla had consolidated her sex symbol status and was a superstar. Her success led to her being recognized in countries like Brazil and France. In 1955, when he wrote about film, the future great French director François Truffaut made a review of Llévame en tus brazos, in which he wrote: “Is Ninón dancing for glory? No way, never. It is quite clear Ninón is dancing for pleasure!”. With the decline of the golden age of Mexican cinema, Sevilla retired from the industry, but returned in 1981 by the hand of Mario Hernández, who directed her the 1984 film Noche de Carnaval, for which she received the Silver Ariel Award for Best Actress of the Year. Sevilla debuted on television in 1965 with a small role in the soap opera Juicio de almas, produced by Ernesto Alonso. After the revival of her career, she was invited in 1987 to appear in the telenovela Rosa salvaje, alongside Verónica Castro. She was cast in numerous supporting roles in several telenovelas, as Qué bonito amor (2012). In 2014, Sevilla was the subject of a tribute from the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences and the Cineteca of Mexico for her career and influence in the Cinema of Mexico. Sevilla had an relationship for several years with film producer Pedro Arturo Calderón. Eventually she married Cuban doctor José Gil, but she widowed soon after. Later she had another relationship, which produced her only son, the musician Genaro Lozano. |

After an early career as a musician, he became a history and geography teacher and gained recognition by publishing history books for children and, later, for adults. He has also created educational musical performances on history. Dimitri Casali grew up in Toulouse, France. He attended the Collège Émile Zola in the Busca district and then the Lycée Berthelot, where he graduated from high school in 1980. In 1985, the group having become known as Huit et demi (France language) and Eight Point Five (English language), had the rare privilege of being signed by CBS London to the prestigious Epic label, and in 1987, the French group recorded the single Marie, produced by Tony Mansfield. Published under English name Eight Point Five (8 ½). In 1988 and 1989, they recorded 2 singles under French name Huit Et Demi (8 ½). The Days Of Pearly Spencer and Angela, published by EMI-France. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Insane Macbeth | Keith Rodgers | Insane Macbeth started getting into production in 1988, it took a number of years to perfect his craft and in 1991, he produced 'Borderin' Insanity' for Kinetic Effect (whilst Kinetic Effect was still in 2 The Top). 'Borderin' was the last recording at Cold Storage Studio (where MC Mell 'O', and London Posse recorded material). Tim Westwood played 'Borderin' while it was on a tape, when he was at Capital Radio. It was officially released in 1993 on Insane Macbeth's own imprint, Insane Recordings. In 1995 he recorded 'Man Bites Dog'/ 'The Effect Of Fear' with Kinetic Effect. Moving away from the battle mentality, Kinetic Effect & Insane Macbeth wanted to explore more abstract concepts, with beats that were more like soundscapes! These two tracks were released in 1997 (whilst Insane Macbeth was at university, studying a philosophy degree). There are only 500 copies available of this single, these two tracks act as a precurser to the trip-hop & break-beat movement. In 1999, he started recording his album, tentatively called 'The "Retardation" Project'. Wishing to gain a more accessible sound (without moving away from what The Icepick called, "his dungeon sound"!), he completed 14 cuts. The album included Kinetic Effect, The 'Legendary' Icepick, Huntkillbury Finn, Grizzly, Shaka Shazzam, Crazy Noddy, and a protege of Insane Macbeth's called Ripper. There are only 100 white label copies of this album around. He died on May 8th, 2016 from complications due to deteriorating health following a long battle with leukemia. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Sexteto Do Beco | Sexteto Do Beco was a Brazilian instrumental ensemble formed in Salvador, Bahia, in the late 1970s by a trio of UFBA music students: Aderbal Duarte (guitar), Sérgio Souto (flute, saxophone, arranger) and Thomas Gruetz (guitar, arranger). Initially conceived as a sextet in 1978, the group retained its name even as its lineup expanded—ultimately including around 18 musicians and becoming affectionately known as the “Seiscentos Do Beco” (Six Hundreds From The Alley). Drawing from academic studies in harmony and improvisation that were absent from the UFBA curriculum, it blended Brazilian popular elements with jazz and fusion sensibilities. In 1980 the ensemble recorded its only LP, Sexteto Do Beco, in São Paulo over eight days; the album featured original compositions by key members (Duarte, Gruetz, Souto, Sarquis, Motta) and showcased an unusual chamber‑ensemble sound that included soprano voice, multiple flutes, saxophones, trumpet, trombone and a rhythm section. Sexteto Do Beco continued to perform actively through most of the 1980s, maintaining a regular presence in Salvador’s improvised jam spaces (becos), theaters (including Teatro Castro Alves and Teatro Vila Velha), cultural centers like the Goethe-Institut, and venues such as MAM‑BA. The ensemble kept performing for approximately a decade with no formal disbandment announced. | |

Raised by parents who migrated from Tennessee and Alabama, he was immediately exposed to the ways of the south, cornbread and beans, bluegrass and country. At six years old Randy started playing music by strumming along to records by Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and the Beatles. Playing guitar and songwriting quickly became his passion. Randy’s influences are Johnny Cash, Lennon & McCartney, John Mellencamp and Merle Haggard. He credits his mentor, Rick Beresford, for teaching him that songwriting is an art form as well as a craft and must come from the heart. Randy has two CD releases. In 2001 he released “Hard Days in The Heartland” under the DTM label. A powerful recording that takes an intense journey through the heartland of America with songs such as “ The Legacy”, “Blue Collar Redemption”, “Billy Crocker’s House” and the title track, “ Hard Days in The Heartland”. Randy’s latest effort, “Pontiac Trail”, under the Highway 29 Records label, takes a honest look at everyday life and the questions one may have about work, fairness, love and happiness. Skillfully penned songs such as “Got My Feet On The Ground”, “One Of These Days”, Boiling Bones For Stew”, and “ Loretta” will prove that Randy has a clear understanding as to the trials and tribulations of the common man | |
