Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 2 | Mitch Goldwater | Mitch Goldwater started stirring syllables and song together as a tot, after he sat agog listening to John Lennon's words "flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup." Mitch went on to study and teach poetry writing (unlike Lennon, who, thankfully, did not). Nowadays he mostly crouches between song & poetry trying to fit the one into the other, right where he thinks they belong. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Albert Skira | Swiss publisher, pioneering books designer and founder of the eponymous printing house (10 August 1904, Geneva —14 September 1973, Dully). Albert Skira is widely renowned for de-facto inventing contemporary "coffee table" art books in the 1930s by reviving the antique des Quart format and setting new quality standards in full-color printing. He also published an iconic art and literary review French magazine, Minotaure (1933–39), which featured some of the most influential surrealists, writers and philosophers of the era, including [a945713], [a=Marcel Duchamp], [a826508], and [a8888548]. In 1928, after working as a bookseller for several years, Skira established Editions d'Art Albert Skira in Lausanne, aiming to publish classic and modern literature illustrated by leading contemporary artists. In 1931, Albert Skira moved the operations to his hometown, Geneva. Over the next few years, he produced a critically-acclaimed series of "definitive," deluxe editions: [a=Ovid]'s Les Métamorphoses (1931) with 30 original engravings by [a=Pablo Picasso], Poésies ('32) by [a811967] with 29 etchings by [a=Henri Matisse], and [a959502]'s Les Chants de Maldoror ('34) decorated by [a195296]. Skira spent most of the 1930s in Paris, where he published a renowned Minotaure art magazine. Albert returned to Geneva in 1941 and continued running Skira Editore throughout World War II, with some of the highlights including [a534911]'s Florilège des Amours (1941–'48) in collaboration with Matisse, Pantagruel (1943) by [a750556], or [a=Jean-Paul Sartre]'s Nourritures ('49) illustrated by Wols. In the 1950s and 60s, his perfectionism turned [l609420] into one of the world's leading publishing houses for art books with full-color illustrations. Skira had international customers, such as book publishers and several record labels: RCA Victor's deluxe [l=Soria Series], [l232007] and Swedish [l1087733]. In his final years, Albert Skira worked on several ambitious, comprehensive compendiums of fine arts, including The Great Centuries of Painting (1950–59) in 14 volumes, eight-part Treasures of the World (1962–70) and a few others. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Rhythm Punkz | Rob Currie | The last couple of years have seen the global invasion heralded by the Rhythm Punkz to bag sets at some of the world’s best nights and renowned venues such as Roger Sanchez - Release Yourself @ Ministry of Sound, Harry Choo Choo’s Bambosa Records @ SE One Club, Pasha , Yes Club in China and Ibiza. As the growing success with their productions has increased releasing on BIT Records in Mexico, one of Italy’s biggest labels Stranamente Music Group and Vinyl Pusher in Australia so too have the remixes which include Empire Of The Sun championed by Radio One’s Annie Mac got bigger. Others include; Sound For Rent, Toy Robots, Muse, Trans X and Spin Monkeys. This announced them onto the bigger international circuit and since then they have taken their 4 deck EFX show to Canada, Slovenia, China, Ibiza, Italy, Germany, Iceland and Poland. The pair held down a successful weekly radio show on the UK’s Future Radio FM station which has an audience listener base of more than 20,000 people each week and with guest such as Graeme Park, Kris Darang and Junior Jay, Dave Beer, Touché and Steve Bug their Saturday night mixture of interviews, mixes, gig reviews and artist spotlight features meant the show grew over the two years they presented. Going back to the beginning the Rhythm Punkz originally came from the UK Drum & Bass scene and under the guise Co-Ordinate enjoyed massive chart success with the hit “You Got Me Burning” in 2002 along side DJ Peshay, this saw them tour Europe playing Festivals such as the Big Chill, Glastonbury and Sonic Dance Festival in Switzerland. They continued with an album in 2003 but then moved to House Music and formed the Rhythm Punkz. 2010 brings a change of surroundings for the Punkz as they relocate to Australia permanently and it looks set to be a very exciting year with productions already due on Chris Lake’s label Rising Music, some big remixes and an even bigger 4 deck + Ableton live show. |

| Search | Add | 2 | Huffing Freon From AC Units | Experimental electronic "One Man Band" side-project from the creator of the french Canadian band "Adamo Presto Prestigimo". Still located in Montreal-North, Québec, Canada after a cancelled re-location to Las Vegas, Nevada. "Huffing Freon From AC Units" gained little to no press coverage when it was discovered that René Angelil's original will (containing 6 pages about "Huffing Freon From AC Units" upcoming recording deals, distribution rights and exclusives live opening performances contracts for Céline Dion's north American promotional tour) was mysteriously changed hours before his death. Among the many changes set forth, all mentions of "Huffing Freon From AC Units" were completely removed. Only one surviving copy of the original will is known to exist and is notoriously hand-signed by both René Angelil and Céline Dion. In December of 2016, the document was acquired by an anonymous collector in Lebanon. Still active despite the enormous amount of pressure, "Huffing Freon From AC Units" now releases albums, singles and music videos without any input from "major" studios. | |

| Search | Add | 2 | Potentially Insane | Potentially Insane were a teen-trio from Clearwater, FL, active 1997~1998 when the members were 16~17. The members consisted of: Dan Byers - Bass + Vocals - currently the Good Wolf in feral sensation Wolf-Face. Dan Cano - Drums + Vocals - currently operating under the monicker Disco on Drums in bands such as Redlight Stare and Deeper Blue. Michael Goodman - Guitar - currently doing Deeper Blue. The band played 1 club gig, released a cassette, a TV show, and a party opening for Discount in which the band actually broke up the day before and guitarist's equipment malfunctioned at the start of the set, requiring the emergency borrowing of an out-of-tune guitar in which the band watched in well-deserved horror as the venue cleared out in the first song, humiliating themselves in front of their friends and heroes. 23 years the recording of their club appearance was resurrected. | |
