Report created based on data in MusicBrainz as of 16/12/2025
Found 617983 artists, we show 1000 artists per page.
The report is not continually updated so may not reflect the current data within MusicBrainz and or Discogs databases.
These are Discogs artists not currently linked to a MusicBrainz artist, and we have been unable to find a potential link for either.
Many of these artists probably are in MusicBrainz in some form but they are not currently linked, the list is ordered so that Discogs artists with the most number of single artists releases are listed first on the basis that these artists would be of more interest.
Some problems will just be due to deficiencies in the Discogs to Musicbrainz artist matching algorithm employed by Albunack.
There are also timing issues as this report is not updated immediately so will not reflect recent modifications and additions to MusicBrainz and Discogs.
One issue in Discogs is they handle artist credits differently so a Discogs name consisting of multiple people is probably represented on MusicBrainz as two individuals, but we try to filter these out of this report
We have also omitted artists that are not unique in both MusicBrainz and Discogs because these artists are probably not missing just more difficult to match up.
Another issue is that some Discogs artists have multiple ids with one id just redirecting to the other, this is the case with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, do we add both links to MusicBrainz ?
Limited report to artists with at least two single artist releases for now.

| Search | Add | 3 | Peev | Pierre Serafini | As PEEV, Pierre Serafini has been a name with many faces over the past 20 years. He’s a musician, a curator, a DJ and above all, a consummate music lover. Over the past few years, Pierre stepped away from the limelight, to replenish himself. This aloowed him to freed time he would invest in his studio and instruments, improving not only his production skills and live performance, but his mindset as an artist too. Pierre has always been about more than the Bass and Clubbing scenes that framed his debuts. Over 5 years of his monthly Rinse show, he’s sought out guests from the known (Jay Glass Dubs, Subtext’s James Ginzburg) to the then-unknown (KMRU, Neinzer), quickly becoming the voice of Ambient on Rinse FR. Two recent releases, the emotive “Ad Astra (Per Ardua)”, a plaintive, piano-led ambient ballad on NoSuit Records, or the sonically extreme and emotional "Snakes & Ladders" on Music for Commercials, are just facets of PEEV’s identity, as an impressive slate of releases for 2021 shows. ‘Ccendrs', Pierre's first Ambient LP was released in March 2021. It was built as a collection of six pieces that emerged from a Live AV Set I was invited to perform at the cutting-edge, community-driven COMMON Multiverse event by Currents.fm. 'Ccendrs' allowed Pierre to find his very own sweet spot after years of work. Somewhere between the over-thinking brainy context of studio and the visceral rush that comes with playing live music. After the unexpected release of emotional power-ambient EP "A Farewell to Dust" in May, Pierre keeps on delivering at a tremendous pace, with a collaborative EP composed with French rising producer Realitycheck on Lyon-based label Music for Commercials in July of 2021: a genuine throwback to the distinctive intricate percussion work and shattered, rolling basslines of PEEV's previous works, gaining exposure on outlets such as The Ransom Note, Tsugi, Bandcamp and more. On top of this, with his Bordeaux-based friend Nuit, he’s started exploring the sludgier side of low end noise for a project that will probably take listeners way beyond the frontiers of electronic music. Whatever Pierre is on, there will be energy and a feel of spaciousness and depth: a reflection of decades of experience, coupled to an always more precise and process-driven approach to both live setup and studio are definitely paving the way for his most exciting works to date. |

| Search | Add | 3 | Discröyd | DISCRÖYD from Munich/Bavaria is a metal band with a well-marked DIY-attitude. Based on their diverse individual influences they cover several metal and rock-styles from Thrash and Hardcore to Hard Rock and Doom, creating a unique alcohol-soaked sound - oldschool without being antiquated and heavy without being monotonous. Their story began in 2008 when the two ex-Hateful Agony members Matt (guitar) and Marty (bass) decided to start Munich's next big thing after meeting and drinking at a Hanoi Rocks concert. Shortly afterwards AD/AC Motörwelt drummer Matthias joined the band (then called Beermöb). Tim, singer and guitarist of Speedwhore, completed the line-up in late 2008 after having quite a few drinks with Matt in a bar. Several months later they finished writing songs for their first album, started to play gigs and began to record their first full lengths album by themselves – now under the name of DISCRÖYD. Their lyrics cover much-loved topics like alcohol abuse (say what?!), sex and violence, but also obscure, science fiction and sociocritical themes. So far they shared the stage with bands like The Accüsed, Ramming Speed, Alpha Tiger, Indyus and many more. The band finally released their first self-titled CD in late 2013 - also available as a limited cassette tape. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | John Tkacik | John Tkacik (born April 15, 1961 in Worcester, MA) was an experimental artist, writer, and musician best known as the bass player for the American skatecore band Crash Course. A pioneer and singular influence in the New England underground music scene, Tkacik (pronounced kay-sick) was the bass player of several early hardcore punk bands, including Pig Iron in 1983, and Crash Course in 1984 on Cape Cod, MA. Briefly sponsored by Zorlac/Airwalk, the band was promoted by a local skateboard shop who funded the recording of their 27-track debut. The band played frequently for years, touring in a borrowed school bus or their renovated 1960s ambulance, including epics shows with The Freeze, The F.U.s, Beefeater, Gang Green, Lost Prophets, Verbal Assault, The Outpatients, Th’Inbred, Vicious Circle, Toxic Reasons, Seizure, Strange Flesh, The Loud Ones, and many others at classic N.E. punk venues like The Channel, The Living Room, The Rat, Lupo’s, Club Rocket, the Cage, Anthrax, and Laconia Bike Week. Crash Course released three cassettes on guitarist John Santos’ Hellcore/Landlubber Records: “Pilgrimage to Hell” 1995, “The End” 1986, and “Live” in 1991, selling most via mail order through reviews and ads in zines like Maximum Rock n Roll and Suburban Voice. The Whore Moans catalog is comprised of a series of five cassette releases, plus an interim album titled Psychedelia Vapor Christ or P.V.C. During a prolific 10 year creative outburst, Tkacik wrote and recorded hundreds of songs in a broad range of styles, and played many shows, including a regular slot at Providence art space AS220 in the late 80s. He independently published their music in a cassette series recorded and produced with drummer David Silver, with hand-painted labels created after nightly band practice, and was creator the fanzine “American Defense of Justice”, printing and distributing several issues with reviews and interviews of regional punk bands and art by underground alternative artists. His writing turned toward political folk music during the 1990s, under multiple band names including Beautiful Child and Rack. In the early-90s, Tkacik came out as transgender and gender fluid, at times changing her name to Jana, continuing to write acoustic guitar music and working at a San Francisco clinic as an activist and advocate for HIV patients in need to medical marijuana before it was legalized. In 1993-94, Tkacik reunited with Pig Iron members John and Pete Santos (Antibodies) and returned to playing bass for the punk rock band Glass Cross, which sadly was never released. An avid traveller, Tkacik spent time between Cape Cod, Boston, Los Angeles, and New Mexico and spent a number of years in San Francisco. She died suddenly in S.F., CA on Saturday, October 29, 2005. Tkacik is survived by family members in MA and many friends and fans in the area. | |

The band was formed by John Paulson (Guitar) and Keith Krass (Drums) in a small room in Beach Park Illinois. The two played for years as an opening act at local shows, performing cover songs for experience and fun. Keith and John searched for new members in an attempt to form a serious and solid band. Keith invited his friend Kyle Walton to come check out the band as a possible member. Kyle immediately took the position as lead singer. The band was being formed. Kyle, excited to complete the band, asked his friend from high school Billy Adams, who was rumored a guitar player, to come check out the band. Billy joined the band and took position as lead singer and guitarist. Kyle stepped up taking the slot of bass player and Amined was formed in the fall of 2000. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | Johnny Regan | recently came across this info On Johnny Regan on a website devoted to Band / Groups from the Potumna, Co. Galway Region Hi Ian you have me stumped on a couple of the lads but left to right they are JJ Lombard from Mallow (Bass)Tony Kirby Clonakilty (Fiddle) The lad in the middle I'm not sure neither the the guy next to him. I'm sure one played trumpet and one sax. next to them on right is Shay Spain Nenagh (Drums) Me Johnny in the Middle then left is Johnny Rush from Thurles (Keyboards) and John O'Brian Dublin Guitar John O'Brian incidentally is a member of Bagatelle and still picking great guitar. Check out the pic!! John Regan cyrusfilms@eircom.net Johnny Regan and The Tumbleweeds was a top English modern country band in the sixties based in London. We worked on American bases throughout Europe. Some of the great country Artists we worked with in those days were. Tammy Wynett, Melba Montgomery, Hank Snow, Hank Locklin, Slim Whitman, Charlie Pride and my great old mate Willie Nelson. Plus many more. Some of my Tumbleweed band members over that period included. Roger Dean (ex John Mayall) Albert Lee (ex Hogan’s heroes, Emmy Lou Harris, and an Emmy winner in his own right) Jerry West (a regular with Slim Whitman on Steel guitar) Johnny Boniface on Drums and (recently with Georgie Fame) Dave Peacock on bass. (Dave is the other half of Chas and Dave a super star act in London. A appearance on the “Life of Riley” TV show in 1969. was watched by Dance hall entrepreneur Con Hynes from @Portumna, Co. Galway He approached me and asked if I would come to Ireland, and form a Show Band. The money and conditions of the contract were great so over I came. I collected a great bunch of musicians JJ Lombard,(Bass) Shay Spain (Drums and driver extraordinaire), Tony Kirby (Fiddle and vocals) Johnny Rush (Keyboards) Senan Drury (Keyboards) John O’Brian (Guitar)Myself on Rhythm guitar, We also had a Steel player who’s name I can’t recollect but often supplemented by that top picker Basil Henriques At the time I was already signed to the Decca record label and had made an album titled “The Tumbleweeds live at the Hitching post” ( Leixlip). However I signed up with Con’s own label “Quality records” and made a number of singles. “ If the world turned into Ashes” “Stand beside me” “Four strong winds” etc. Life in Portumna was a wonderful experience I always knew I would end my days living in Ireland. However my fiancée had other plans and at the death knell of the show band scene we married and took off for Australia. We enjoyed Australia for thirty years, raised two fine boys. I developed a career as a Musician, Actor, and Video Film Maker. Oh how the years fly. So now, here I am back these last three years, living in Barna Galway. I have been working in a three piece pub band called “Top Form” Ronnie Mangan ex Indians on drums and Noel Keane (Sean’s brother on Bass) I had to leave Top form after a heart operation. However now I’m fully recovered, and as fit as a Mally Bull (Aussie _expression) and am the producer/Director of my own Video production Company “Cyrus Films International” I still love to sing and play guitar and tenor sax. I am on the lookout for another band to join... If you have any contacts with any of the musicians I have mentioned here I would love to catch up with them again and chat over old times. |Perhaps somebody out there knows some of them. Jams quickly turned into songs and within a month they made their debut at the Curiad Bangor Pulse festival with singer Erwan Hughes. Hughes departed soon after their first gig. The original trio continued and released their first two singles in 2020. The Covid-19 pandemic halted the fledgling band's progress playing live. In May of 2021 they came out with their first collection of songs, "How Do You See the World?". The band played live throughout 2021 through to 2023, most notably supporting Derrero on a short series of summer gigs. They come championed by David Fielding of the Chameleons and Mark Hoyle of Dub Sex. | |

| Search | Add | 3 | As For Now | As For Now began with one guitar and one voice in May of 2002. And in July of that year, Jonathan Stanyard wrote and recorded his first effort, titled "We went to Alaska and froze to death...I Lost in the game of fate." After many comments by friends and strangers he began to write more songs. The first As For Now release was out on October 23rd, 2002 titled "I'll be a suicide King." Over the next few months he began to write with his brother Landon. In March of 2003, "The March Diaries EP" was released featuring Jonathan and Landon Stanyard. After difficulties of time and inspiration, Jonathan began to write on his own again. Which leaves everyone in suspense for his upcoming release "We Will Dream" EP. The music is inspired from all aspects of life: love, dreams, feelings, people, and memories of the past. With an acoustic guitar and a voice, Jonathan tries to express himself to listeners in a melodic and meaningful way. The acoustic rock is taken to another level and written so that all listeners can enjoy the music of As For Now. And if you have never seen a live performance it is well worth a first shot then make a decision. | |
